The story Jake the Growling Dog Goes to Doggy Daycare: A Children’s Book about Trying New Things, Friendship, Comfort, and Kindness by Samantha Shannon is a wonderful book to read. The story is entertaining and fun to read. It can be enjoyed by young or older children as well as pre-teens to adults. Jake is a character who is likable, and this story shares his feelings about a new experience. The story deals with the worries that Jake has in going to daycare. The story is beautifully illustrated with detailed pictures. The book includes activities that can be completed and also encourages discussions about the story which can be used with younger ones to help them vocalize their thoughts. This is a book that will bring a smile to your face as well as introduces an unforgettable character.
