Golden Void by Alexander Charalambides a fantastic five-star read. This is number three in the Black Blade series and they can be read as stand-alone but honestly, I have enjoyed them all as they have recurring characters who build each of the stories. Megan has a great story and one that unfolds from the first chapter, as you follow her quest you get dragged deeper into the story. One that brings characters you don’t expect and twists that will keep you hooked. This is a young adult story that brings lots of different elements to it and doesn’t dumb it down like some young adult stories. All of the quests bring something different and this one just brings the extra.

Ok this book was a complete surprise to me. I started out being totally fascinated with the synopsis and decided to give it a try. I don’t normally read this genre so I wasn’t sure what to expect. I started it and as usual with this genre I got totally lost. I almost gave up but this is when reviews are so important, I read many of them and realized I needed to go back and try again. I had to be missing something. I am so so thankful I did.
I will say you don’t want any distractions while reading, it really does take focus to keep up with everything that is going on. Once I started again I was completely hooked and then could not put it down. I love how this was left wide open to a possible next book and truly hope that happens.
I was confused at the end because I dont think Ive ever in reading a book hated someone so much then ending up with them being one of my favorite characters and really hope that’s who gets the next book. I think that one would be a ton of fun especially how this one ended.
Grab this book!! It was awesome, do not give up, if you lose it, go back I am so glad I chose to do that!!
Love Gaia: The Diary Directive by TL Clark is a young adult/ dystopian read about hope and survival. I found myself lost in the pages and couldn’t stop reading till the end. I will say there was some areas I had a hard time with but that didn’t stop me from reading. My emotions were all over the place and my heart ached at times. This story is about Aroha and her friends, harsh lessons are learned and they learn not to make the same mistake twice. Find out what happens next in this absolute must read I just want to add I love the cover. I can’t wait to see what this Author brings us next.

Dead Magic by India Kells a five-star read that will bring magic alive. This is number three in the Sanctuary Chronicles, but they can be read as stand-alone, but you will want to read them all once you start. This story has great pace, you won’t be able to put it down, you have to know what will happen. Violet and Finn both have a battle and history they face, hearing from both of them helps you understand where they come from. Helps you understand and get deeper with the story, the chemistry in this story is sublime and will keep you aflame, but it’s the romance that really made the story.

The Equalizer: Foxxy’s Tipping Point (Foxxy: The Equalizer Book 1) by Allyson Abbott is a quick and enjoyable read. I had actually read this story before but was remiss in leaving a review. I enjoy all Allyson’s books and this story is well written and the plot flowed smoothly. It is also a very emotive story that gives you as much headache as it does joy. The characters are well developed and I fell in love with their easy banter and their plots for revenge and justice had me laughing. It is a tale of starting over after living a life where there was not an option of getting out, no matter how hard you dream. But when fate steps in all it takes is one look and anything is possible under the right circumstances.
Foxxy is used to her life but her dream is to get out. When a chance encounter changes her life she can hardly believe it but before she goes there is one thing she needs to do. Just how sweet is revenge and justice?

Being Lost: Satan’s Devils MC San Diego #1 by Manda Mellett is another fantastic book in this new spin off series of the Satan’s Devils MC. And like wind therapy this book is great to settle back and get lost in. Manda is my go to girl for MC books and I am always amazed how she keeps track of all the characters and always makes these alpha men swoon worthy. This book, like the others, has hair raising and on the edge of the seat moments but when this band of brothers come together you know you are in safe hands. It was nice to see the characters were a little older than the norm as well.
Lost is the Prez of the club and a great in shape silver fox who still has the moves but he is content with life but still has doubts about his leadership. That is until he sees Patsy, now all he wants is someone to wrap in his arms and share his life with. But in true biker style nothing is ever that easy.
Patsy has unknowingly been singled out and her life in danger, now she must put her trust in the men of the MC to keep her safe.
This is one series that is timeless and could go on forever and if it does I will be right there with them.

Dead Magic: (The Sanctuary Chronicles #3) by India Kells is a fantastic paranormal romance and great addition to the series. India weaves a magical tale of two wonderful characters and an unlikely pairing finding love through magic and mayhem with many magical beings, Witches, Vampires, Werewolves, Dragons and more. There is a lot going on in the story that kept me engrossed. I got lost in it and couldn’t put it down reading it in one sitting! I suggest reading all the books in order as the characters from the other books are all in it.
Violet is a witch who will do nothing to stop the evil and help those who she loves. She is fiery and finds herself with an attractions that should not be. When her world is turned upside down she loses herself from what she was to what she is becoming. She is terrified and hurt and the one person she should hate is the one person who she needs.
Finn is a very, very old Vampire who has had enough of the life he leads and has decided to disappear. There is one witch who has caught his attention but he knows it can never be, that is until he feels the horror and pain she is in. It is a race against time to find her and help her. Will they both survive?

This is my first book by this author and i thought it was an interesting one. It was well written and had a completely different feel than anything I have read recently. It is set in a post-apocalyptic world after most of mankind have been wiped out. This is not for the faint of heart because it is raw and emotional and thought provoking. Definitely worth the read if that is your thing and you need a different book to take over your weekend! Happy reading!

The Matchmaker and The Marine: A Second Chance Small-Town Romance by Lucinda Race is a lovely second chance romance. It is well written and the characters are easy to fall in love with. They are each flawed and scared and both learning to get on with life after heartbreak and tragedy. If only they could set it aside and learn to trust again and take a step back and see what is right in front of their faces. It is a sweet and easy read to get lost in and makes for a nice afternoon reading.

Golden Void is the third book in the Black Blade seriesby Alexander Charalambides. It is a superb YA fantasy adventure with plenty of action, magic, wizards, drama, mystery, sinister agendas, and murder. I highly recommend reading the previous books before starting on this one, as knowing what has already happened and knowing the recurring characters, will enhance your reading experience of “Golden Void”. Megan, who we have met previously, takes the reins in this story. Another quest and another mythical, mystical adventure. Really enjoying this series.

A very neat dystopian Young Adult book based on the post-apocalyptic future, where the entire man kind has been wiped out, it is very thought provoking and an amazing story. Set in the future world, the story moves back and forth between the youth reading their harsh history lessons through the diary of Dr. Rachel, one of the survivors of the apocalypse. Aroha, a young woman reaching adulthood lives a peaceful life in an almost perfect world, an idealistic community where people believe in high values – Honesty, respect and fortitude. Aroha’s teacher walks them through a brutal history lesson about the founders of the community and the struggle they went through to form this society. She reads out a dairy of one Dr. Rachel, who is one of the founding members of this community. Dr. Rachel was one of the survivors who was kept underground for years together after the apocalypse which happened around the year 2069. Dr. Rachel loses everything, but she is determined to fight back for her freedom. The dairy talks in depth about Dr. Rachel’s struggle and her vision on the basis of which, the society of Aroha is formed. The book is indeed very though provoking and very unique book. It is a very short book, and very easy to read, do not miss this one!

Love Gaia: The Diary Directive by TL Clark was a captivating read. The point of views switching from past to present was uniquely done. I appreciated it in the YA dystopia setting so much. I enjoyed Ahora and her friends, they were so naive and innocent. The topics covered really hit close to home but it was still an uplifting read.

Boundaries (Scope of Practice Book 1) by Jessica Aiken-Hall 5 out of 5 stars
I was drawn to Boundaries for several reasons. Perhaps the biggest one was that I had read Jessica Aiken-Hall’s memoir a while back and the raw and honest storytelling had me recovering for days and I was curious to see how memorable her writing would be in another avenue of writing. Knowing what the author has disclosed of her past and the synopsis and excerpts from Boundaries, I anticipated an intense ride and I don’t know the last time I held so much hope and excitement before starting a novel. As I had hoped and honestly expected, Boundaries was an excellent, captivating story. Unique and gripping, I couldn’t put the story down shortly after I started and I wholeheartedly heartedly look forward to more in the Scope of Practice series. 5 star rating for sure.

I give Heart of Malice (Alice Worth Book 1) by Lisa Edmonds, 5 stars.
This is phenomenal urban fantasy. It is a little on the darker side, but the story is so unique and interesting. Alice’s background is something the like I have not really read before and you can see this in the way she handles her investigation. At the same time, she is knows she’s not perfect and learns from that. She reminds me of Mercy Thompson or Anita Blake. Malcolm is great too and I really like the addition of a secondary character. Then there’s the story itself. I really enjoyed it and liked the fact that I was reading something I have not read before. Add in the twists and turns, this makes for a complete story that you can’t get enough of. I eagerly await when I can delve back into this world in the next book.
If you are a fan of strong female characters in an urban fantasy setting with some mystery and action thrown in, this book is for you.

This is the first book I have read from this author and she blew my mind. It has been a while since I read a dystopian story but she exceeded all my expectations. This book has a couple of triggers in it so be aware of them but it is truly a great book to read. It only took me a couple of hours to devour this amazing story.
Aroha and her classmates live in a new age now. There are a lot of things that are different but you don’t want to repeat the past. They are living in a very sheltered life where they have things done for them. One day Aroha and her classmates have their world shaken. They have to find out what they are really made of. Will they be able to find it out why Dr. Rachel did what she had to do or will it be too late?

I loved this book. This is a series I have loved from the first book I picked up. This author writes with creativity and her attention to details make you feel as if I am right there. I highly suggest reading this series as they are that good. In this story we get to see Lost’s story. He is a man that has lost everything at one time and failure seems to be part of his life. He finds himself in the prez position. But is he good for the club? One wrong decision could bring them all down. Then he meets Patsy. She is a woman who feels that she doesn’t need a man in her life but now she needs one for protection. This is where the MC club shows up at her doorstep. Will Lost be able to protect her and her family or is he just too lost to be the man she needs. All the characters are great in this story. Some we have seen before which is awesome to see them again. They are strong and supportive of each other. I loved the chemistry between Lost and Patsy. This is a fast paced story that is engaging and easy to read. I highly recommend this book and this author.

The story Wrapped Up in You by Erin Bevan is a book that I loved reading. It is a story that is romantic and a sweet, wonderful holiday book. It pulled me in from the beginning and I was hooked. I loved reading about the characters of Princess Jenny Claus and Logan Moss. Jenny has a large responsibility. She must pick from suitors for the one to take the role of Santa as well as her husband. And she must do this in the next three weeks. Logan is a pilot who has woken up after his plane crashed in a world that he always thought was make-believe. When he meets Jenny he is fascinated with her. The only problem is that he has partial amnesia and doesn’t remember if he has a wife. Will Logan regain his memories? What does the future hold for Jenny? Who will she marry? Read this book to find out. I love Christmas stories, and this is a good example of why. I grew to love Jenny and Logan with each chapter that I read. Other additional characters have a part to play in the story and I enjoyed reading about them. This is a story that is romantic and has heartwarming moments. Don’t miss out on a story that you will not want to put down until the very last page. I highly recommend reading it.

The story Tompkin’s School: For The Extraordinarily Talented (A Supernatural Academy Trilogy Book 1) by Tabi Slick is a wonderful book that I loved reading. It hooked me in from the beginning and I didn’t want to put it down until I had read the final page. The main character finds that they can shift into a demon and that someone is trying to use their powers for evil. The book has mystery and danger. The story is written in such a way that I could feel the emotions and conflict that comes from the main character. The author does an amazing job of weaving a tale that had me turning pages wondering what was going to happen next. In addition to the main character, there are also secondary ones, each with their part to play. There are those with an evil agenda and also those who are helpful and friendly. Don’t miss out on a story that is interesting, intriguing, and entertaining. I would highly recommend reading it.

Relic Hunters: Eagle Of the Empire by Martin Ferguson was a great novel! This is the first book in the Relic Hunters series, and the first book I’ve read before from this author. I was instantly enthralled by the plot and the characters, and I could barely put this book down! With comedy, suspense, adventure and thrills, this book is not just for young adults, adults could enjoy it as well! I highly recommend this novel and can’t wait to read more of the rest of the series!

I loved reading the book Being Lost (Satan’s Devils MC San Diego #1) by Manda Mellett. It is a story that had me hooked from the beginning and I didn’t want to put it down until the final page. It is a story that includes romance, suspense, danger, mystery, brotherhood, and family. I loved reading about the characters of Lost and Patsy. Lost is the Prez of the San Diego chapter of Satan’s Devils. He is also a man that has doubts about himself and is haunted by what he sees as mistakes from his past. How could he ever ask for someone to trust him when he doesn’t have faith in himself? Patsy made a painful decision in which she had to make a new life for herself. Read this book to find out. This is a story that had me turning pages to find out what is going to happen next. It also had my emotions going up and down the entire time. Love Gaia: The Diary Detective, by TL Clark, is described in the blurb as “A post-nuclear war, dystopian vs. utopian, environmental romance”…and it is just that. This author is new to me and I was drawn in as I was intrigued by the description. Aroha and her classmates finally get to learn the truth about the world they live in. It looks different to the world we live in now as it was almost wiped out. The lesson comes in an unusual form, a diary. Dr Rachel has been dragged away from her life and her family. She starts her diary to keep an account of what her life is like now, and what Rachel and her peers suffer in order to save the rest of humanity. Love Gaia takes a look at what the future could look like if mistakes are made. It’s up to Aroha and her classmates to protect their world and prevent it happening again. I really enjoyed this book. It is my first book by TL Clark, I enjoyed the style of writing and found myself wanting to keep reading to know what happens. I particularly enjoyed the way the link to the last was through the diary entries. There is a lot to think about when reading it. I would recommend this and think young adults in particular would enjoy this.

I loved this series. I was excited to see them all in one box set. This is a great series that is full of suspense and action. They are engaging stories that are fast paced and hard to put down. The characters in each book I had no problems connecting to. They made the stories easy to read and kept it moving. I was pulled into each of the stories with the author’s attention to detail. Charlotte is featured in each book in one capacity. She puts herself in danger to get what she wants but you will have to read this series to find out more. The twists and turns she takes you on left me sitting on the edge of my seat just waiting to see what would happen next. I highly recommend this book and this author.
Another thrilling read from Ms Kay! I absolutely love picking up her books because I know that I am going to be in for one amazing ride! Martimus is an intriguing read that kept me on the edge of my seat the whole way through, I had no idea which way the author was going with the story! There were some amazing twists and turns – it really was an exciting read. I felt like I was at work with the agents in this story trying to uncover what had happened to the missing socialites! The story was really detailed and the authors exciting writing style made me want to keep turning those pages to find out what would happen! A fantastic addition to this series and I highly recommend this new 5 star read from Ms Kay!!

I enjoyed this book. This is not my first book by this author but it is one of my favorites. One of the things I love most about this author is how I am pulled into the story right from the start. This one is no different. It is a well written story that made me feel as if I was a part of it. It is a story of starting over, revenge and getting justice. When a handsome man enters the picture will that change things? Is there justice in the future? How will fate step in and take over? There is quite a bit going on in this story but I found it easy to keep up with. This is a really great story that has characters I had no problems connecting to. They are well developed and made the story pop. I highly recommend this fast paced story and this great author.

I enjoyed this Christmas fairytale. This is a story that reads like a fairytale with a princess and maybe even a prince charming. This is not my first book by this author but it is one of my favorites of her yet. It is a well written story that made me feel as if I was right there with the characters. I had no problem connecting to them and they made the story easy to read. It is a great holiday story that takes place in a place that most people don’t believe exists. At least Logan didn’t think so until he crashed into it. He is attracted to Princess Jenny right from the start. When he hears that she needs a husband within the next three weeks, he thinks that he fits the bill. The problem is he can’t remember if he already has a wife or not. Will he remember in time for them to have a happy ever after? I found myself hoping that they would end up together in the end but you will have to read this book to find out. I highly recommend reading this book and this author.

Bad Things Happen: Gripping Psychological Suspense (Ashes to Ashes Book 1) by Rowena Holloway is full of dark secrets and fraught with danger. This psychological thriller will have you on the edge of your seat while the suspense keeps you on your toes. The story often goes back in time but does so little by little just giving you a hint of a little bit more until the whole truth is revealed and boy does it have some twists. Charlotte Ashe is a weather girl working in London. When a hint of a story is thrown her way, little did she know that it would come with deadly consequences, secrets and lies, painful truths and so many cover ups that she would never be the same. With so many players uncovering the truth from the lies, before it’s too late may just be her undoing.
Less You Know: gripping suspense (Ashes to Ashes Book 2) is the second book in the series and you really need to read Bad Things Happen, the first book in the series as it lays the groundwork for this book. Less You Know is a psychological thriller that is dangerous, full of secrets and suspense and is full of many twists and turns that you don’t know what is going to happen, even when you think you do. Rowena’s skillful writing takes you on a gripping journey where you don’t know who is who and what is what. Charlotte Ashe once again finds herself in the thick of things when her friend is missing. Investigating is in her blood but at what cost. The closer she gets, the more she finds out and the more danger she is in, shows just how much she doesn’t know who her friend is and the many secrets she holds.
From The Ashes (Ashes to Ashes #3) is the third book in the Ashes to Ashes series. I recommend reading the previous books before this one. This story starts off with a bang. It’s intense right from the beginning and you just can’t stop reading. Part of what makes this book so suspenseful is the back and forth of the timeline. It keeps the answers just out of reach and creates the drive to keep focused so you can figure it all out. I won’t get into details, because I don’t want to give away any of the plot turns. Suffice it to say, this book is spectacularly suspenseful, marvelously mysterious, and a dangerously delicious read.
5 Star Dares & Dice (Spicetopia #5) by Phoebe Alexander
Dares & Dice is the fifth book in the Spicetopia series and my favorite yet. I have absolutely loved this series and I highly recommend reading the first four books in this series. Although they can be read as standalones once you read one you’re going to want to read more . In this book we get Ty and Makenna are at Spicetopia celebrating their bachelor and bachelorette parties . But what they don’t realize is they are about to have the time of their lives. When the dice are rolled all bets could be off . Will there even be a wedding? I highly recommend reading this hot and steamy book . You won’t be disappointed. As always I can’t wait to read more from this Author.

This was a touching love story about 2 people who have had trouble and heartache in their lives overcoming it to be together and finding happiness again.
