Everything about this read was enjoyable from the scenic setting to the relatable characters. I love books like this especially the suspense of detective works. Both characters are lovable with their chemistry between the two. Full of adventure, suspense and mystery was worth the read alone. I think you’ll enjoy everything this book has to offer from the action, dialogue, and the world the atmosphere the setting is. This is so entertaining!

Age of Druids: Druids Brooch Series#9 by Christy Nicholas 4 out of 5 stars This series has been amazing! I have been following along with this series since the beginning and I cannot believe we are here at the end. All good things must come to an end I suppose, but WHY? Age of Druids: Druids Brooch Series#9 by Christy Nicholas is a book that is full of romance, action, and danger. Clíodhna is a strong woman with a will of Iron. She has babies to protect and she is determined to do so. She is a fiery woman and when she has her back against the wall, she is determined to do what is necessary to save herself and her family, with or without the help of the beautiful stranger she met in the woods. This book is amazing. I highly recommend this series and in book order.

This is another great read by King. C.A. keeps me on the edge of my seat with all her books so far. I love reading these books and I can’t wait for more.
Sarah, aka Super Sorry, is sent away to a new school when hers shuts down. The thing with her school shutting down is partly her fault. What happens when she gets zits? The quote I chose for Sarah is: “I could ask you the same thing. Somehow, I never took you for the librarian apprentice type.”

This was the third book in The Prentice Brothers story and I truly did enjoy it. I was pulling for Trey and Maggie!!! I loved that they fell in love over Christmas and decorations. I enjoyed seeing the brothers rekindle their relationship also. I can not wait to read more from Ms, Flockton.

This is the fourth book in this series. This is a story that is full of action and suspense that I had a hard time putting down. I highly suggest reading the previous books in this series to get the enrichment of this series. This is a well developed story that has twists and turns that kept me turning pages. This is an engaging story that has characters that bring the story to life. This is a story that has a lot going on but the author did a good job of keeping things straight. Hani finds himself in the king’s good graces but he still must find a murderer. Is it possible for him to find justice and keep his family safe at the same time? This is such a great story that I highly recommend.

‘The Queen’s Dog’ is another gripping and engaging historical crime novel by N.L. Holmes in her ‘An Empire at Twilight’ series. Set in the Syrian kingdom of Ugarit during the Bronze Age, Naheshi a eunuch slave falls in love with his Queen. Sadly for Naheshi he mistakenly thinks that his mistress, the Queen also loves him and so avoids spying on her when told to even under the threat of punishment. However when he realises that his mistress does not care for him at all he then does report all of her disloyal activities believing that the worse that will happen to her is a royal divorce. When her sentence of divorce turns into an execution Naheshi suffers with a guilty conscience and so vows to avenge his Queen and in doing so rid himself of his own guilt. This is obviously a well researched novel and it is wonderfully written in away which brings the time period and setting alive for the reader. I found the historical notes at the beginning of the book fascinating and the maps, glossary of names and terms and the genealogy of the royal characters were very helpful and I did refer back to them whilst reading. The storyline is fast paced and the plot twists kept me hooked from beginning to the end. The story is told by the main character, Naheshi‘s point of view and so we get to know him very well and I thought he was a well defined character who I could picture as I was reading the novel. This was an enjoyable read and I would recommend this novel which although part of a series can be read as a standalone story.

I have enjoyed this series from the first book. This one is no different. Hani is back in this story that is full of action. If you have not read this series, I highly suggest reading all of the previous books. Hani is a great character that is trying to figure out who is behind the tomb robbies plus witnesses are turning up dead. Will he figure out who is truly behind all of it? The twists and turns kept me turning pages wanting to know what was going to happen next. The characters are so supportive and made the story realistic. You don’t want to miss this book. I highly recommend it.

This is a box set that contains The Sanctuary Chronicles Books 1-3 plus an awesome novella. This is an author I have enjoyed reading from the first one of her books I picked up. Her writing skills are such that she makes you feel part of the story as well as characters that pop off the pages. This boxset is no different. Each story is full of action, romance with characters that are creative such as witches, vampires and werewolves. Hot characters that bring each story to life and each are unique in their own way. A paranormal adventure that you don’t want to miss. I highly recommend this book and this author.

I picked up this book because I was intrigued by the description, and the cover is awesome. The story was not at all what I expected, but it made for an entertaining read. Make sure you have enough time set aside because you will want to read this all the way through in one sitting. I can’t say too much more about it or it will ruin the experience for you. Give this book a chance, or you’ll be Super Sorry you missed out!
Tompkins School: For The Resurrected by Tabi Slick is the third book in A Supernatural Academy Trilogy. Personally I do think you need to read these books in order to fully understand what is going on. This book is a great addition to the series. I loved getting back into the lives of the Twins and seeing what adventure they found themselves in the middle of this time. As with the previous books I thought this one was exciting and interesting the whole way through. It took no time at all to get straight back into this world and familiarise myself with the characters that I have come to love. The author really knows how to keep the pages turning and the story alive from start to finish. It is a shame that this is the last in this series however I am excited to discover more of this authors work.

The History of the Universe: As My Soul and I Remember by Stuart Ledwith is an interesting and though provoking story that in all honesty I didn’t expect to enjoy so much. This type of book is completely out of my comfort zone but having read books by this author previously I decided to give it a go and I am glad that I did. This whole book is a journey that you take and experience fully. You become invested easily and really find yourself engaging with the story. I really wasn’t sure what to expect when I started this book but what I got was a well thought out, crafted story that really gets you thinking about things in a different way. If you want to try something a little different to what you are used to or want to push the limits of what you normally read then I would certainly recommend you try this book.

I loved reading the book WAR OF THE DAMNED (Relic Hunters Book 3) by Martin Ferguson. It is a story that includes action, danger, and suspense. I love the characters of Adam and the other Relic Hunters. This time the team is trying to find relics and artifacts stolen by Hitler. In the process, they are up against deadly enemies and ghosts from Adam’s past. What does the future hold for Adam and his team? Read this book to find out. This is a story that had me on the edge of my seat wondering what was going to happen next. The book has you on a non-stop journey that I didn’t want to stop reading until the final page. The story is brilliantly written, and the author makes the story and the characters come alive on the pages. Don’t miss out on an exciting and entertaining book that you won’t want to put down. I loved reading the book Tompkin’s School: For The Resurrected (A Supernatural Academy Trilogy Book 3) by Tabi Slick. It takes you on a ride that doesn’t stop until the final page. It is a book that includes action, danger, and suspense. I love the characters of Izara and Kain. They both have their part to play in this story and I loved reading about how they deal with what is going on around them. They both care about each other and would do anything to help the other out. Some forces have evil intentions and plans. Will they be stopped? I found myself turning pages to find out what happens next. I was on the edge of my seat. There is also a full cast of other characters that have their part to play as well. It is interesting to find out the choices that they make and the situations that they find themselves in. This is an exciting and entertaining book that you don’t want to miss out on. This is the third story in a trilogy and to fully understand what is going on they this series should be read in order. You will not be disappointed. I highly recommend the trilogy and this book.

Age of Druids by Christy Nicholas is the ninth book in The Druid’s Brooch series. These can be read as standalone books and enjoyed but I think they are better in order. This book tells the story of Clíodhna. She doesn’t have an easy life with three children and a husband that has gone missing. Often tested to choose between improving her life and possibly giving up her children Clíodhna makes difficult decisions. It took me a bit to get into her character because of some of her choices, but I gradually understood what she was trying to accomplish. This is a wonderful book and series full of enchantment, mystery, and more. I am sad to see this series end but I look forward to reading more from this author in the future.

This is a great young adult story. It is shorter than normal for this author but I would say it would be a great introduction to the author and their stories and type of writing. Even though the story was shorter it didn’t lack anything and kept me gripped from beginning to end.
Clara is constantly on the move with her parents. She doesn’t know why but her parents job means she’s moved all the time. As a teenager it’s hard for her to keep adjusting to new towns and meeting new people. She is scared to make friends for the upset it causes when she leaves.
The arrive in a little town of Chance and she automatically falls for a guy called Hank. Hank tells her of the myth of the town, about the Wendiago. This creature lives in the forest and preys on people. Should Clara be worried about the Wendiago? Does it even exist? Or is the danger hiding in plain sight?
Once again Tabi Slick has brought another incredible addition to this engaging, action-packed and adventurous series, and this one just like the previous two books is unforgettable from start to finish. These characters never fail to bring this story to life and make it what it is, and incredible fantasy read. This characters have been brilliant from the very beginning and seeing them being pulled in separate directions makes you dive in deeper wanting to find out more and see whether this is something they can overcome. This book will hook you and you will not want to put it down, it flows effortlessly and you will not be disappointed at picking it up. I highly recommend this read and can’t wait to read more from this author.

This is the second book in this series and I loved it just as much if not more than the first one. I was pulled right into the story from the beginning. Who doesn’t love hot, steamy bikers, right! In this book we get to see Grumber. He has always felt that he doesn’t need a woman or family in his life until he meets Mary. She is a single mother of a seventeen year old who likes to push boundaries. Her daughter manages to get herself in a situation that something just isn’t right about it. Just when Mary thought she couldn’t take more and not sure how to cope until Grumbler. What happens next you don’t want to miss. They have such great chemistry together, I loved them. I highly recommend this book and this author.

I loved this book. I have read all of this author’s books, this is my favorite yet so far. This is a well developed story that is a great start to a new series. The characters brought the story to life for me. I had no problems connecting with them. Delilah is such a great character and my favorite. It is so great seeing a character that is so strong and female to boot. She feels that she is a burnt out demon so she takes a break only to find herself in a small town that has many secrets. Will she learn there is no rest for the wicked or will she find the peace and quiet she desires? This is such an engaging story that I couldn’t put down until the last page. I highly recommend this book and this author.

This is the first book I’ve read, but it won’t be my last book by her. The way this book is written is wonderful.
Bella leaves her job to work for an upcoming music company. She doesn’t like letting people in, but when her boss starts showing a different side she doesn’t know what to do. The quote I chose for Bella is: “We’re both struggling to express our feelings, but I’ve always heard when people tell you about themselves, believe it the first time. I don’t want to be just another woman you lay with for a couple of times and then what? We won’t be able to work together when the lust is gone because surely, it will disappear. Kismet Heart: A Protector Romance is the first book in the Surviving Love series by Brinda Berry. This is the first book I have read by this author, but definitely not the last. I look forward to reading the next two books in this series. This book flowed from beginning to end. I lost sleep reading this book because I just couldn’t put it down. I have to say, it was well worth the loss of sleep. Malerie and Ace are well defined characters. Malerie has know tragedy, both when she was seven and again when she was eighteen. Ace is a body guard and he feels the need to protect Malerie. The chemistry between the two is amazing, and the witty dialog really brought these characters to life. This was a great story and i can’t wait to get my hands on the next book in the series. Review by @sunbarn

My first book by Julie. Addie has a massive secret she’s been holding onto for years. Jake and Addies friends and family are amazing and the development through this book is great. It shows how much things can happen in real life and how emotional attached you get to these characters. Josie is the kid and getting use to this new development. Highly recommended this book.

The Lies Between Us: A Psychic Romantic Suspense (Deadly Secrets Book 4 by Cynthia Cooke
I could not put this book down as soon as I started reading it. This story was full of action, suspense, twists and turns. I was entertained throughout and on the edge of my seat at times. This is the story of Cat and Tom. This married couple have been keeping some serious secrets from each other and now that Tom is in trouble Cat must decide if she’s going to use her abilities to help him even though she has said she wouldn’t use them. Tom told Cat that he is a pharmaceutical rep but he is actually FBI. Cat has two sisters that she turns to for help and they also have abilities. There are great characters in this book and you can’t help but get invested in their outcome. This is a must read if you want to find out what happens between these two, and if you want to know if they get the drug lord that Tom is after. I highly recommend this book, you won’t want to put it down.

Thunder on the Moor by Andrea Matthews was such an interesting time travel story that I LOVED reading. I personally have been obsessed with books about time travel recently and this one did not disappoint. I became hooked from the very beginning and putting this book down was hard for me, I did not want it to end. Maggie is strong, independent, and overall, just an interesting character. This story is so intriguing it keeps you hooked until the very last page. The author put so many details that you feel like you are there.

I give Age of Druids: Druid’s Brooch Series: #9 by Christy Nicholas, 5 stars.
Every time I pick up one of these books, I am reminded just how good they are. You are immediately immersed into this magical tale that the author has woven. Clíodhna has many struggles in her life, and while this was set such a long time ago, the main issues she struggles with are still relevant today. I loved her as a main character, she be may favorite in the series. She is strong, independent, and does what she needs to for her family. But she is not the only character in this book. There are many others and they are all written so well — they feel so real.
Then there is the story itself. Such a rich story, full of detail and imagination although at the same time rooted in history of what really happened. The author has obviously done her research while adding her on spin on this tale. I thoroughly enjoyed this book as well as the whole series, and I highly recommend it to those who like strong characters and historical fiction with fantastic mixed in.

I loved this book! It’s written well enough to stand alone (which I’m thankful for as I grabbed it without reading book one). Suffice it to say, I loved this edition and will quickly run to read what I missed in the first installment in the series. Regardless, this fun and flirty caper had just the right amount of sass, intrigue, and fantasy thrown in to keep in interesting and moving briskly. Loved every page and can’t wait to read more from this author.

Holmes continues to bring her readers one fantastic historical fiction after another. This latest is everything I’ve come to expect – amazing historical context with a detailed and enthralling tale. From the first page I dove straight into the narrative and was transfixed by the ancient world that unfolded. For all history buffs, you must read these books. Holmes is a master at weaving tales that feel like you are living history without making it dull and lifeless. Loved it.
