Scorching Hot Mess is a rom com by Brooke May. This is not the first book I have read by Ms. May, but is my new favorite by her. This story sucked me right in and I couldn’t put it down until I finished. The characters are believable, the dialogue is witty, and the romance is scorching hot. After a drunken night out, Willow finds herself with four napkins with numbers on them and no other memories of the night. It is hilarious watching her try to figure it out. I truly enjoyed this book, and highly recommend it if rom com and romance are your thing. Review by @sunbarn

This is the third book in the Satan Devil’s Second Generation series. I have read the original books and as the title suggests this follows on as this story is about one of the children of the original member of the MC. Even though it is part of a series it can be read as a standalone but personally I would read them in order as you then get the feel for the characters and you understand the background.
In this story we find Noah( Throttle). Now he is all grown up and a fully patched member of the Satan Devils as their enforcer. His life is his club. He doesn’t want a relationship or to settle down. He’s happen with random one night stands and he makes sure the women he’s with know that.
However things change when someone seems to have a vendetta against him. After his old school friend is attached and her house trashed Throttle and the brothers set out to find out who is behind this.
Is someone hurting Gwen to get to him? Who would dare mess with a Satan Devil?
As they try to solve this the relationship between Throttle and Gwen grows stronger. Could there be something to having an old lady after all?
With danger, Romance, and mystery it will keep you hooked from beginning to end.

Electric Temptation is the fifth book in The Protectors series by Toya Richardson. This is not my instant book by Ms. Richardson, but it is the first book in this series that I have read. I had no trouble following the story, however I’m going to read the rest of the books in this series. Ms. Richardson weaves a wonderful story full of action, adventure, witches, elemental powers and wraps it in a second chance romance. The world building is amazing. I found myself lost in this book and couldn’t put it down until the end. Delilah is one of my favorite characters is all of the books I have read this year. Delilah and Mason throw off some serious heat. If you love paranormal or even just romance, I highly recommend this book. Review by @sunbarn

Maggie Adams’s Jinxed (Hell on Heels, #2) is a rom com that is a unique short and fun read. This hot steamy romance has magic and mystery, a little bit of action. The story is well written, and I loved the wit and charm Maggie has infused in her magical world. Opposites attract in this fast-paced enjoyable tale. This clever narrative will keep you glued to the pages. As with the first book the characters are quirky and delightful.

This book was very emotional and contains quite a hard hitting story line. I found the female protagonist a strong character despite what she had been through and although I didn’t love this book I am intrigued to know if she does get the revenge she seeks. I enjoyed how fast paced the story was and found this helped keep me focused on the plot and stopped my mind from wavering. My reasons for not liking this were mainly that as the plot was so hard hitting and emotional I found the racy, sexual parts out of place with the general plot. I also found that the sexual encounters were overly descriptive but that’s my personal taste. I struggled with the narration as I found the narration strangely robotic but again that is my personal taste.

I give Twisted Throttle: Satan’s Devils MC Second Generation #3 by Manda Mellett, 5 stars.
Let me start out by saying that I am not a big contemporary romance reader. I started the original series on a whim, looking for something different. I got hooked and have been every since. The fact that she makes me want to pick up book after book, not putting them down until I am done is saying somethjng. This author’s storytelling is so compelling and amazing!
While each book has been about a couple, each and every one is different, with different things going on to make it more suspenseful too. Since we are now on the second generation, you may remember Throttle from previous books. If you have not read the series before, that’s okay, the author has made things clear enough that you can easily read it by itself. We learn much more about Throttle and why he has become the man he is today. Learning about Gwen was great too. They are both very strong characters. You also see them grow as the story progresses, learning more about themselves and each other.
While this story centers around them, there are other things in play. It’s obvious from the beginning that there is something strange going on. There are quite a few twists and turns along the way to throw us off track too. That’s what makes this series so good. Oh and don’t worry, you will see many characters from both generations return, as well as some new ones.
If you are fan of MC romance that also has suspense thrown in, this book is for you.

To Be A Fae Queen by Tricia Copeland was a great read! This book drew me in the first page and I had so much trouble putting it down. The imagery was incredible, and I felt like I was right there in the pages with Titania on her quest to become (and stay) queen. The characters were great as well. I’ve read several different fae books but I’ve never read any quite like this. In some aspects I felt like I was reading a Sarah J. Maas novel, and others it just felt so unique I have no comparisons. I can’t wait to read more in the future because I definitely am not ready to leave this fae world yet!

OH MY GOODNESS!! This trilogy didn’t disappoint!! I love how they can be read as standalones but I highly recommend reading all three books, you won’t be able to put the book down!
Malina Safeguarded from a past that haunts her but she can’t tell anyone about it. She suffers in silence. Working the SEALs was the greatest job she could have ever dreamed of, but working with Tyler Hale, her crush from high school was harder than she thought. Despite their constant banter she always tried to keep him at arms length she wasn’t willing to let anyone else in. But after a night a Vegas and finding out some very surprising news, only to Tyler to drop another bomb on her lap. She returned the favor by revealing her secret. To top it all off she was on the run because someone was trying to frame her something she didn’t do and the only person she thought of to help her was Tyler, so she escaped to his island. Now it was time to trust someone with all her truths, including her past that she never spoke of. But in the end can her and Tyler have a true relationship? Is he willing to believe her and help her? Is she willing to love for the first in a long time?
Tyler Working along side Malina could sometimes be touture but he lived for getting under her skin, it was the only the way he knew how to interact with her. He knew she had a lot of sadness in her, that much he remembered from high school. Now was the chance to make her his. She was the one that got away, he wasn’t ready for a committed relationship, but now he more than ever. After Malina shows up on his island he’s surprised but happy. But first he has to prove her innocence. In the end will he be able to keep her? Can he save her?
This book was so amazing! I didn’t want the story to end. This is book has surprises around every corner. Tyler and Malina have always wanted each other but it time to make that dream a reality, after and when they conquer the threat on Malina’s life. He will do anything to ensure her safety.

I was pulled in right from the beginning, the author does a great job with her writing. This is Tyler and Malina’s story, I was excited to get another brother’s story.
Malina has had a crush on Tyler for years, when they end up working together all the memories come flooding back. She knows he isn’t the commitment type so she doesn’t get her hopes up. There is a twist after a drunken evening in Vegas. Things take an even bigger twist when she is accused of treason. She turns to Tyler for help, will he be able to help her? Can these two have a HEA?
Overall this was a thrilling read, we get steamy moments, violence, action and so much more. We also get several twists and turns that added a great element to the story. If you’re looking for a great military romance this is the one for you. I look forward to reading more from this author.

Meghan O’Flynn is an amazing author. This is the tenth book in the Ash Park Series and they just keep getting better. I highly recommend reading this series from the start. The story is full of mystery, a psychological thriller, and some action. The characters are intriguing. I have loved Petrosky from the moment I first read his stories. He is no-nonsense, determined, and has a strong keen mind. The story moves quickly but if you are not careful you may miss some vital information. I highly recommend this book and this series.

A historical romance with a dashing Kavalier named Matteo, his love interest Arabella and her “brother” Zdenko. A sweet romance of love letters starts between Arabella and Matteo. Only Zdenko is the one answering love’s call. “Zdenko” is actually “Zdenka” and she is madly in love with Matteo. This sweet and exciting love triangle was a pleasure to read. If you love historical romance with strong female leads, I would highly recommend!

Two Hearts One Stone by Leslie Scott is book one of the Boots and Babies series.
Stone and Emmersyn don’t exactly get off on the best foot. Stone doesn’t really do commitment which Emmersyn finds out right from the get go. Emmersyn has one goal and she won’t be sidetracked even for Stone that is until he needs her help and she sees a different side to him. Will Emmersyn be able to look passed Stone’s past with woman or will she constantly wait for the other shoe to drop? Will Stone be able to convince her to take a chance?
I really enjoyed this book. I devoured it! Stone is more than meets the eye. Emmersyn is cautious but she’s sassy which made reading fun! I highly recommend!

Forged by Secrets (Deadly Isles Special Ops #3) by Amy McKinley
This isn’t the first book I’ve read by McKinley. The Deadly Isles Special Ops Series is amazing. This can be read as a standalone.
Melina has come from Venezuela to the States only to have her life flipped around. Her parents are dead, her boyfriend is dead. It’s all her fault. The quote I chose for Melina is: “Okay, then tell me what the reason is behind you giving me one of the movies you did. Or was it strictly because you thought I’d like watching them?”
Tyler is the youngest of the Hale brothers and he’s married. Not only does his wife not know, but she is keeping her walls up. The quote I chose for Tyler is: “Case in point, you’ve got that unexpected viper tongue, and if you unleash it on one of these unsuspecting idiots who think they might have a chance with you, I’d have to get into a fight.”

Twisted Throttle Satan’s Devils MC Second Generation #3 By Manda Mellett ☆ ☆ ☆ ☆ ☆ This is a full length MC action packed and fully suspenseful story. Be prepared to stay for the long haul. Because once you open the first page you won’t be able to put it down. For mature audiences 18 and over. Due to adult content.
Throttle and Gwen are the highlights in this story. Somebody has a score to settle with them and the hunt is on to find out WHO. Nobody messes with the enforcer, and yet there is someone wreaking havoc on him, as well as the Satan’s Devils. The brothers have a bond not to be messed with. You will need to read on, as no spoilers will be given.
Manda Mellett has done it again. This story is edge of your seat worthy. I could not put it down. (Who needs sleep anyway.) Throttle and Gwen are my new favorites with this story. All of the characters that have brought this series together, have a special place in my heart. Be prepared to fall in love with them as well. I hope you have been following this series. Because it will bring this story to life, within your mind. This is a MUST read series. I can’t wait for the next book in this series. Job well done Manda Mellett! Well Done!

I was pulled into the story by this narrator’s voice and enjoyed being engaged to the end. It was easy to listen to and made me want to keep listening. The voice is easy and fun and truly adds to the story. This is a story full of action and revenge. What happens next with this MC you don’t want to miss. She only has a small amount of time to get her revenge, will fate allow her vengeance? I highly recommend this audio, I loved it and so will you.

This is one of my favorites for the second Generation kids. Throttle is Pegs boy. Grown up and now the enforcer for the club. I enjoyed getting to know him and his views. Watching him and Blade bounce ideas and such off each other was a delight. This also give a different look at Peg and Darcy….as parents. At times it threw me for a loop but I recovered as did they.
In here as in every book is one of the reasons I keep coming back to this group. Yeah they are bad…yeah they are tough…yeah they have sex..a lot. But my favorite thing is the family/friend camaraderie between these boys. Oh the girls have it too but those boys? They tease each other..pick on each other and goof around. Their age doesn’t matter when it come to have fun at someone else’s expense. The trip and the fun that Blade and Truck have together in here just reminds me of the good old days. Then that whole thing with Hawk and how that went down…I was sitting her smiling so so Big. Those FOG’s…you never know what they are up to when they are bunched together.
Overall this is quite an enjoyable book. Filled with fun, danger and all the Devils you can handle.

I love picking up a new book in this series as I always know I am going to get a fast paced, action packed adventure and this book is no exception. This was such a turbulent journey – I felt like the author really played with your emotions and pulled you in every direction possible. I honestly could not have guessed at how this was going to turn out and my heart was in throat for most of it. I always think that this series just can’t get any better and then I read the next one. By the last page I was reading through tears. What a book! I love a second chance romance, and Thomas and Raynas story was so sweet but full of challenges. When Rayna finds Mason and calls Thomas for help I just knew it was going to be a wild ride. My heart hurt for poor Mason and everything he went through, but I loved every minute of reading about the three of them coming together to fight for him.

I loved it. I loved Tara, I loved Jace, I loved the mystery. Ashley A Quinn really knows how to pack a lot in one novel, in the best way! I was thoroughly invested from the beginning. The tragedy they each dealt with, the healing and learning to take that leap to love again. It was bittersweet but also so heartwarming. Then trying to piece together who was after Tara and why kept me flipping pages. Can’t wait to open the next in the series!

Twisted Throttle is the 3rd book in the Satan’s Devils MC 2nd Generation series by Manda Mellett. This series sees us get the stories of the children of the first group of Satan’s Devils we got to know. Throttle, our hero in this book is the son of Peg from Peg’s Stand. I’ve been a huge fan of Manda Mellett’s books since I first discovered the Satan’s Devils and it amazes me that she continues to come up with new stories for each of the guys and the books never get repetitive. She must have one helluva imagination to continue to give us new stories. One thing I love is that Manda Mellett takes some really dark subjects including depression (Hawk’s Cry) and in this book you get one massive shock when the book takes a turn that you would never expect. I’m not going to give any spoilers, you’ll have to read this book to see what I mean. Prepare to be shocked! Another thing I will say is that you will totally fall in love with Throttle and Gwen and will be rooting for them to get their deserved HEA. Their story is amazing and I was hooked from the very beginning right up to that shocking end. On another note, if you have read any of the first generation Satan’s Devils then you will love seeing the guys as older men with grown up children.

I thoroughly enjoyed this heartwarming romance and although it is a fairly quick read the storyline was packed full of drama and romance. Horse trainer Stone Dempsey has a reputation as being a ladies man and his equine talents both help him impress the people at the country club and help him earn money for ‘Smoky Mountain Reining Horses’. Stone’s life becomes complicated when his drug addict sister leaves her sick baby daughter on his doorstep. Meanwhile Paediatrician Dr. Emmersyn Cole has moved in with her grandfather and has started her own practice. She is well aware of Stone’s reputation and although she was instantly attracted to him when they met she is determined to not get involved. However, when he rushes into her grandfather’s home with his sick baby niece Emmy can’t help but feel for him. The more time the couple spend together the more Stone realises that Emmy is the woman for him and Emmy starts to see a different side to Stone, one that she likes. I loved the two main characters as both Stone and Emmersyn were likeable and relatable people and the chemistry between them really came across in the narrative. I liked how their relationship developed despite the numerous misunderstandings, complications and drama that occurred in the story. I was hooked from start to finish and was cheering Stone and Emmy on hoping they would get their happy ever after. An enjoyable and engaging short read.

Seductive Prey is the first book in The Relentless Trilogy by Vivian Fiano. This isn’t my first book that I have read by Ms. Fiano, but it is definitely my favourite (so far). I can’t resist a good romantic suspense- so I happily snapped up a copy and devoured it in a matter of hours. The story is well written, and the suspenseful aspect of the story is cleverly woven- making for a gripping, action-packed ride. I thought that Ms. Fiano did a fantastic job with her character development- crafting fully realised individuals with their own personalities, quirks, and flaws. Jordan and Grant, in particular, were so easy to like- and before I even realised, I had invested in them and the outcome of their story. I will have to wait to find out how everything plays out, as this story ends on a cliffhanger that has me anxious to get my hands on Book #2- “Graceful Abduction”. This is romantic suspense done well- with plenty of action-packed danger; and with time slipping away, and a creepy stalker vibe happening- I was on the edge of my seat. The chemistry between our two MC’s is palpable and sizzles off the pages. I really can’t wait to get my hands on the next book- it really can’t come soon enough!
I absolutely LOVE this book and the entire series. This book continues with Beast, aka Lycus and his story. I love that the story also has Rapunzel and Red and we also introduced to a new character, Goldie. I cannot say enough of how much I love these series of books and how the author incorporates the characters. I could not put this book down! Kudos to Author Suzanna Lynn and this wonderful series!! 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
