This is a Romantic Comedy novel and is 139 pages. This story follows Hannah and Kyle. Hannah was dumped on Valentine’s day and is not keen on the idea of love. Until Kyle. Kyle is every woman’s “most wanted” and he has got it all. He was not keen on love either until he meets Hannah. I loved “watching” this romance bud. This was the perfect short story.

Love by Design, the second book in The Meraki Series by Effie Kammenou was a sweet enemies-to-lovers office romance. I feel like I just went on an amazing trip, to places I could only dream about. Mia and Nichols banter like an old married couple but their love is classic and timeless. Not only is this a romance, but you will also find a mystery between the pages.
Effie is still new to me author (this only being my second book) but I’m enjoying her writing style and how easy it is to get swept into her characters. Looking forward to more books in this series.

This book kept me entertained from the very first page until the last sentence. I absolutely loved this book and the characters. There was a lot of action and suspense in this book. At one point I was like wait….what???? I couldn’t believe it! Dereck is one of the main characters and he is following / protecting Layla who happens to work as a dancer at a club but there’s so much more going on. Dereck and his crew are there to try and find a missing dancer named Bryanna. Layla is not only good friends with her but also roommates with her. Layla has a one track mind to find her sister that went missing. I just couldn’t believe the turn of events towards the end. I cannot wait to read more by this author.

Relentless is the fourth book in the Billionaire Bodyguards series. It was yet another amazing, suspenseful, romantic story in the series. The author’s stories are always well written and unpredictable with fantastic characters. This story may be read as a standalone, each story in the series does focus solely on one couple, but I very highly recommend that you read each story in order. It will better help you to appreciate the series as a whole and as it was intended. This book was such a fantastic addition to the series, I loved it and could not set aside until finished. I’m so looking forward to what comes next in the series!

5-stars
Oh my word I do not even know where to start with this one! This author has blown me away once again. I completely devoured this book, I ended up reading it in one sitting as I couldn’t bring myself to stop reading. I was so invested in these characters and with all the detail it felt as if I too was along for the ride. I can confidently say that she is one of my all-time favourite authors!
The amount of detail this author writes with will never cease to amaze me, the characters, the relationships, the family history and of course my personal favourite the Greek recipes all tie together to make a truly amazing read! Honestly there is not one thing that I would have changed about this story, I loved absolutely everything about it!
I cannot wait to continue this series asap and I would absolutely recommend this book and this author to anyone looking for a once in a lifetime read, you will not regret it!

This book was well thought out and I found the story exciting and an epic, historical, adventure. The characters are so well written and described in such a way that I could see them clearly in my mind. I felt the pain and anguish of Tiwatipara after he experiences such tragic and profound loss and I was rooting for him to be the champion of his story. I enjoyed the different character arcs and sub plots and how they linked together. I was transported to another era with this book and quickly engrossed in Tiwatipara’s world. I’m really enjoying this series.
Relentless brings the Dom/sub relationship of the MCs to the forefront. Layla is the closeted submissive, trying to suppress that side of herself. Dereck is attracted to Layla from the beginning and recognizes her desire to submit to him. He’s not the overpowering and domineering Dom type though, wanting her to discover her own wants and desires within their relationship.
Problems arise when Layla’s desire to find and help her sister, who she believes has been trafficked, interferes with her ability to embrace her submissive role in the relationship. Will family hinder the budding relationship from succeeding?
I am not a participant in the Dom/sub culture, so I do not know if the character development in relation to it is accurate or not, but as a reader I enjoyed seeing Layla fighting her inner demons, both “professionally” and relating to the relationship. I enjoyed reading the narrator POV switching from Layla to Dereck, getting insight into what they were thinking and feeling. It allowed us to feel the relationship building from both sides and see how each was rationalizing their actions.
I really enjoyed reading this book after Auctioned, which basically occurs at the same time with a few cross references. Relentless continues to build upon the mafia connections and fighting trafficking that have been prevalent throughout the series.

This book is part of a series and offers insight into what was happening with different characters. Layla is an adult dancer at a club. Dereck works for a security firm and needs information from her. Neither expect to feel a spark from the other. Opinion I’ve read one other book in the series and loved it. After reading this book, I love the series even more. Ms. Mari is superb at being able to work a scene in so many different viewpoints. I am simply amazed at her ability to keep the reader captivated while retelling parts of one story and introducing other characters stories that happened in the same time frame. I believe I have found my newest “one click” author, one I’ll buy new releases from without reading the description.

The Earl and The Peahen is the 5th book in the Scarlet Salon series by Jean Wilde. Each book contains a complete story and can be read as a standalone. My first reading of Jean Wilde’s writing was the 4th book in this series and was not missing any necessary information. In this book we meet Jane Mayfield, who at 25 is still unmarried and possible set for life as a spinster. When a countess offers to chaperone her for the season in London, she is determined to find a suitable husband before it is too late. Alexander Gordon, Earl of Norwich has decided that it’s time to settle down and find a bride and to his shock and surprise finds himself thinking of the plain Jane he met who was extremely rude to him. Needless to say that the path to true love never runs smooth but I absolutely adored Jane and Alexander’s story. There’s plenty of funny moments, drama and intrigue, and as is the norm with a regency novel, there is some scandalous moments too, all of which amounted to a novel that I thoroughly enjoyed. If you like a good regency romp then I definitely recommend that you read The Earl and The Peahen.

This is the first book in this Saga and it is such a great book, there’s drama, mystery and romance. The Walkers are great and I can’t wait for each ones story. I love a good cowboy book and haven’t read one in a good while and i was not disappointed. I could not put this down, from the first chapter I was hooked. It had me laughing through out and gasping from shock. Cant wait to start the next one.

This is the fourth book in the Billionaire Bodyguards series and these stories keep getting better and better. It is full of romance and suspense, as well as danger.
Dereck is a member of the elite security team. When he is sent to question a women with regards to the person they are looking to rescue, he didn’t expect the sparks to fly.

Exhale and Move On Audio Book by K.L. Shandwick is a book about finding yourself in life and not being afraid of going after it. I was pulled into this book initially entirely on the narrator alone. He had the kind of voice that I could just listen to all day and it was the absolute perfect pairing for this book and this character! It honestly felt like we were listening to the character himself which made it much easier to connect with him.
I was a little disappointed with the overall story. I struggle to connect with it and at times wondered what the overall point was. I also thought a couple of tiles it was a little predictable. However I also found that I had to know how it all ended so I was clearly invested in the story enough to become that committed to it. I did like how the author created a small crossover between this book and another series she has done. I thought it added a nice touch to it. I think had the book been less about all the different steamy scenes and a bit more about the depth then it would have been perfect. However it was good enough that I would definitely check out more from this author in the future.

Southland Academy for Supernatural Youth by Sandra Tentler and Brooke Tentler is a fantastic young adult fantasy story that has some truly great characters right at its centre. This is the first time I can recall reading a mother/daughter author combination and for these two it definitely worked. I thought the whole book was really entertaining. I loved the idea that the kids were trying to live up to these creatures’ expectations in a supernatural way. The whole book had a fun feel about it and I really felt like I engaged with the characters. This pairing between authors felt natural and the book reflected this in the pace and flow. I really hope we see more from them in the future.

Bovine Tricks (Royals Gone Rogue Book 1) by Seelie Kay was an interesting read. I’m not going to lie, this wasn’t my favorite. I didn’t care so much for the content, I personally felt like it was very weird and the beginning was off putting for me. However, it got much better towards the end. I was easily sucked in, once I got over the initial shock of the hucow and bovine fetishes. This book was well written and had a lot of adventure thrown in. I’m not sure how I like the ending. I felt like it ended on a cliff hanger, and then it also didn’t. It’s hard to describe without spoilers. I would read the next book in The series, just to see what happens next!

Date Night by K.M. Lowe is a fantastic quick romantic story about two cynics finding their happiness. This is a nice easy read but also has enough about it to keep you engaged. The main characters have a strong connection between them. I thought it was obvious from the moment they met. The book itself it well written if a little predictable. However that is exactly what I want from this kind of book. It is perfect for losing yourself in for a few hours on a lazy afternoon. You get swept up by the characters and really can just switch off. I also personally loved the fact that it is based in Scotland! This is a book certainly worth your time.

Welcome to 10 plus hours of Paranormal Suspense. With romance in the story as well. No spoilers here. You have to read it to believe it!
Maggie has haunted this old house for years. Naomi, a writer has just moved in with her cat. The cute little cottage is next to a cemetery and is the perfect place to write her next book. Naomi had just left a bad relationship and wanted a new start. When she meets Ryan, he is perfect in many ways, always hungry and never late, and Bryce is the handsome neighbor, with one cutie of a daughter. She is torn who she wants to spend time with. Well that is all you get for now.
Mya O’Malley wrote this suspenseful paranormal. It is well written and fun to read. If you like ghosts and solving crimes. I read this story years ago, I loved it then. I love it even more as an Audiobook. The characters are well explained and true to their descriptions. The story is fast paced and will keep you reading until the end. I absolutely recommend this book in Audio for the bone chilling intense storyline. Well Done Mya O’Malley! Well Done!

AJ Renee has done an amazing job with this book series so far. I fell in love with Serena and Ethan from the beginning. Serena is fiercely independent and strong, the head of her coven. She helped Ethan grow more into himself and his powers. Individually they are incredible but together they are a force to be reckoned with. I loved the appearance of old and new characters that molded into their story. I’m so excited to see what’s next for this incredible family!!

I was really impressed with the authors attention to detail and because of the narration I really did feel like I was right there with the characters, I could imagine everything I was listening to. This was a really lovely audio book and I enjoyed listening to it.
I really enjoyed Connor’s story and could feel all of his emotions. I can only imagine the kind of loss that he is currently going through but he was really well supported by the local community. They all clearly loved his mother very much as did he. The way in which the author wrote this story felt like I was going through the grieving process with Connor. Along with Connor were some really lovely secondary characters, I especially liked Mary Ann; she seemed so sweet and genuine. The narrator really got the emotion of the story across well. A beautifully written story and i would definitely recommend the audio book.

Oh my word! Can I say Max is my favorite so far?! Who doesn’t love a man with a passion for animals? Max is a veterinarian with the ability to actually speak to the creatures he cares for. Claudia is a werewolf with a monster of a past and the mother of the sweetest little girl. My heart broke multiple times for them throughout the book. Max and Claudia’s story will have your heart all mushy. I loved seeing Max’s family wrap around them both. Renee has a way of writing in old and new characters to allow you to see more of their story even when they are not the focus. I’m so excited for the next book and it will certainly be on my TBR list!!

My Lips Are Sealed was a really great read, I like a forbidden romance story so this was definitely my kind of book. I was quickly engaged in although I will say I did struggle to connect with the main character Zoe at times, this may have been due to her age but there was just something however it didn’t mean that I didn’t like the story because I really did. There is definitely. Lot of angst and drama in the story and I did really feel a connection between the characters at times. I did feel for Zoe and the things she has been through. The author did a good job with getting the emotion across in the story. I am definitely looking forward to the next book in the series.

The synopsis for this book didn’t really give much away for what I was in for but I loved it! I loved going in blind and not knowing what to expect, I also love that I have found a new author to follow! The story was really good, I liked that it was original and something really different to read. The authors writing was engaging and entertaining. I was dragged into the story easily and my attention was held throughout. I liked the unpredictability of it. It was such a lovely book to read, the story flowed really well and I loved the characters. Sunshine really was a joy to read about, she certainly lived up to her name! I loved the mystery of the storyline and it definitely kept my interest throughout. One of the many things I love about this author is how she makes her characters so body positive, it really makes her characters so relatable – I just adore the way in which she writes. I loved this book; it is definitely one of my favourites from this author and as always, I can’t wait for her next book release! Betrayal at the Beach is a must read and I highly recommend it!

Montgomery – Review by Katie Matthews
Date Night by KM Lowe. This is such a fun read. Its set in Scotland and its the story of Hannah and Kyle. Hannah Brentley hates Valentine’s day. She has been dumped on the Valentine’s day in the past so she doesn’t like anything about it. She sure isn’t interested in a relationship with anyone. When she meets Scotland’s most eligible batchelor in Kyle Randall thru her work she can’t deny she’s smitten. Kyle Randall is not interested in a relationship because he’s had everything from gold diggers to psychos and he is better off being alone. Until he meets Hannah and he sees stars! When Kyle starts sweet talking Hannah and it actually works they are both shocked. Will this Valentine’s Day be the best one ever for Kyle and Hannah? Read Date Night to find out!
