This is the third book in this series which I enjoyed from beginning to end. If you haven’t read the previous two books, I highly suggest doing so to help you enjoy the most from this series. This is a well written story about friendship and the value of that friendship. The characters took me on a journey of looking for answers and realizing that you may not like what you find. As the story comes to full circle they are faced with things that are threatening and having to defend those they love. This was a really great story and my favorite yet in this series. I highly recommend reading this book to find out what happens next for Cam.

I enjoyed this young adult story. This is a story that is written from the point of view of a young adult which really gives the story life. The characters fit the story and are relatable. This is a story about Hadley and the fresh start she wants at a new school. She finds herself living next door to a teen actress and everything she wants to be. She also finds herself in the popular group but soon lies threaten her relationship with Nick. Will she learn that being popular is not all it’s cracked up to be? I enjoyed this book and I think any young adult would enjoy it as well. I highly recommend this book.

This is a very quick read from this author. Everly Taylor has a way of righting that leaves you chucking as you are reading because there is subtle humor intertwined in the plot.. The blue men help Lillie on a bad day and she ends up on the adventure of a lifetime. This is a fantasy paranormal tale that you just can’t miss. The characters are well-written. The plot is enthralling. The descriptions will have you thinking of your childhood. I can’t wait to get to book 2 to see what happens with Lillie and the blue men.

Blue Summer Part Two by Everly Taylor is a paranormal romance that will pull you in from the beginning and you won’t want to stop till you’ve finished. This is the continuation of book one and picks up right where we left off. This is a fast paced story packed with magic and steamy romance and action, I literally was on the edge of my seat I wanted everything to work out. Lillie finds herself yet again kidnapped by Erius and he’s willing to go to any lengths necessary to get the information he wants from Lillie. Can the Zayed save her from Erius? Can she save herself before its to late? I highly recommend reading this book to find out what happens next. I loved this duet and hope there is more in the future. I look forward to reading more from this Author.

Sexy Drug is book one in the Losing My Heart series by Melody Calder. Dramatic from the very beginning, the pace stayed quick throughout the entire story. The story had many enjoyable and heart stopping moments. The storyline was edgy and gripping, keeping a reader on high alert awaiting the next event. With breathtaking danger at every turn, Katie and Ramone were on a treacherous road, but that did not diminish the intensity and passion that reigns between them. Their chemistry was electric and their journey went through many highs and many more lows. The author had a crafty way with words and played with a readers imagination and provided a titillating and unforgettable book. 5 stars.

Very quick read. Zoe has done great descriptive work. I have enjoyed reading this story. It’s a nice mysterious and suspense story with a few unexpected turns
Hes very cocky that Domic. Zoe I like how we get to go through each of the characters POV. I like Damien he’s seem a canny bloke but wow he’s got some imagination. This is a short but really good romance story. These two show a real romance and what a real life relationships is like. Highly recommended this series.

This is the first book that I have read from this author and wow I was surprised. This book is meant for tweens not adults but I found myself addicted to this story. I love a good adventure and this author exceeded all my expectations. I was hooked from the first chapter and it only took me a few hours to devour this amazing read. I hope this author will consider doing a series.
Luella is an eleven year old girl that loves adventure. She is homeschooled and lives on a swap. Luella loves her life but she is also lonely. She doesn’t know it but she is not just a normal girl. I was excited to read book 2 of summer blue. Ì loved the first book and the second was fantastic. It is a quick read that packs in all the excitement you are looking for. I was cheering for the Zayd to kick some butt. This is the continuation of Erius’ determination for more power. The Zayd and Lillie work together to try and stop his plan. I was on the edge of my seat waiting to see what happens and could not put this book down. I was excited to find out Lillie’s past and how she is tied to the Zayd. I am hoping there will be more of these characters.

The Way to Storey by L. B. Anne was a delightful story. Easy to read, a very quick read but more than all of that it was just a sweet, good story. I have to say I loved this book from start to finish and it’s easily my favorite book so far this year. I developed an instant love for Lou, Gramps and Ma Poo and they wrapped themselves around me like a warm blanket. This is not what you would refer to as an action adventure but there is plenty of action and plenty adventure. My only disappointment was that it ended too soon. It reads like a new series, (I certainly hope so) because this is one little story that’s too good to be at an end.

For the most part I really enjoyed the book! It was very unique and different from the majority of paranormal romances you read, which was quite refreshing. I struggled with the wordiness of it-like there were super descriptive words on top of each other and all at once; it just felt like too much for me, I think that part could have been dialed back. Loved the story line and LOVED the characters. Great Job!

This is a very interesting plot which takes us through two different timelines. It is about an archeological dig in Ireland, where an archeologist Caitlin uncovers a perfectly preserved corpse of a 1500 year old Pagan Irish priest, Ciaran, who lived in the fifth century. The body is taken to New York for further testing, But on reaching New York, the priest disappears. He is awakened, and seeks comfort in a church. The story takes an interesting turn when these two-start dating. How long can Ciaran hold back his secrets from Caitlin? Ciaran is an interesting character and the readers can empathize with his situation. Caitlin is slightly loud mouthed and does not come across as truly likeable. But they both form a very interesting pair. The book is a breezy read , there are few secrets revealed, few left to be understood. The time travel element is interesting. Over all a good book to read.

The Eclipse Dancer by Laura Koerber was an interesting read. The imagery in this book was very vivid, and it read like a classic piece of literature the descriptions were that great. If you’ve read from Koerber before, this story has her typical style of writing, obviously. It’s very flowy. My only complaint was the back and forth between Andy’s memories and her current state. It fluctuated in a way that confused me sometimes. Overall I thoroughly enjoyed reading this book. This was not a typical for me and I did enjoy it. I can’t wait to read more in the future!

This was my first L.B. Anne story, and I am sooo excited to have found it! Anne is a gifted author; her imagery and vivid world-building are out of this world! You will fall in love with the characters, Luella is my favorite! She is brave, strong, adventurous, and an ultimate tomboy who loves nature more than pretty dresses. The entire story is full of mystery, action, and following what you know is right. I can’t wait to suggest this to all my teacher friends, I think it’s a great read for entertainment purposes, but I also love the message behind it! @pippawoods

The Way to Storey by L.B. Anne is a fun Middle Grade book. Luella is an eleven year old girl who is homeschooled and lives with her Grandpa in the swamps of Florida. Grandpa has told her that if anything ever happens she need to follow the birds. When the unthinkable happens, Luella must follow the birds and she meets some wonderful characters along the way. This story will bring a smile to anyone’s face who decides to read it.

I believe you do NOT have to be between 8-12 years old to enjoy this story. I am a kid a heart and even as an adult, I very much enjoyed this book. What an adventure to feel like I was tagging along with Luella to find STOREY. She makes a friend or two along the way and finds trouble when there are people trying to capture her. The Eclipse Dancer by Laura Koerber is my new favorite book. I admit this with the utmost sincerity. The author’s style of writing is so beautiful that it dances off the page like sunlight sparkling off ripples of water. This book hit me right in the heart. I have a fond childhood memory of sitting on my grandmother’s porch, blanketed by the summer heat, as I listened to the breeze tinkle the wind chimes and watched the sun sweep across the landscape. This book relaxes and comforts me much in the same way. I’ve been a lover of words and stories since birth, and I truly appreciate when an author can elicit a physical response with the shape of their words. This story blends real, raw emotion with magic as Andy, a middle-aged woman, cares for her ailing mother and revisits a fantasy world from her childhood. I was hooked from the first line and give The Eclipse Dancer 5 stars only because I cannot give it more.

This is a wonderful adventure following Luella as she tries to makes her way to Storey, where her Grandfather says they are from. Luella meets interesting characters as she “follows the birds” while fleeing from the people who took her grandfather. I love Luella’s character! She is quirky and fun. She tries so hard to be a grown-up and to do as her Grandfather told her. She’s only 11, afterall. This would be a wonderful book for youth who like a little magic in their reading.

I will tell you that Cam Johns does not disappoint with Brink of Denial. She knows just how to keep you on the edge of your seat and pages turning. Unlike the first book, where the story revolved mostly around Seth and his lawyer Braelynns romance. The second book digs through his brother Danes past with his ex lover after eleven years and her brother. Mila gets into some deep water and needs her ex along with the rest of the mafia family to help fix the problem and we all know what kind of crazy stuff that the mafia is capable of doing.

This is the first book I’ve read by this author but, will not be the last. The author won me over with this read. I loved it, loved the characters and the way the book just flowed. I did want to punch Adam a time or two but hey, it’s not a great read without that. Jules is such a sweet fun loving character but she is one feisty thing and she doesn’t take anyone’s garbage. She gives it as good as she gets it. When she spots a tall dark and handsome guy at her local bar she never expected what would happen next or what would happen on her first day at her new job. The Eclipse Dancer is a story woven around memories. The story begins with Andy sitting in the yard smoking a cigarette and enjoying the momentous occasion of a total solar eclipse. Andy finds herself caught in the moment, and she lets herself free to enjoy the solitude of the eclipse and the dance of the eclipse. A dance she learned about when she was a teenager here in Allenburg, Iowa.
Andy is back home where it all started…where she learned who/what she really is. As Andy assists her mother in the final days of her life, the memories of her childhood and teenage years take her down memory lane building into a lovely story about the coming of age and discovering who you were and how you came to be that way and why.
Laura Koerber carefully crafts this story as she weaves through Andy’s present-day and her time as a child and then into her teenage years. The imagery used in the writing creates a story that you can see as a reader. Though the material in the story was not of my usual preference I did enjoy reading the book.

Love Unexpected by Marina Hanna was an unexpected adult office romance read that I was hooked on after the first chapter.
Adam Foster is your typical alpha playboy, knows what he wants, and in no way does he want a “relationship”. But after a kiss with a stranger and finding out that said stranger is his new employee, he’s thinking of changing his ways. Jules is a confident woman ready to start her new job but she wasn’t ready to find out that Mr. Hot-as-F is her new boss. Can Jules fight her feeling for Adam or does she give in to her boss?
Fair warning – Adam Foster is a curded dirty talking male who will set fire to the pages and have you needing a cold shower. Looking forward to more books by this author, highly recommend checking out this author.

Do you like Romance? Magic? Wizards? Big blue men who live in mushrooms? If you answered yes to these questions then do I have a book for you! Blue Summer was an interesting book that reminded me of The Smurfs. They had a lot of similarities to the little blue men but sexier. Lillie, the main character was sassy and sarcastic. I fell in love with her character almost instantly. She then meets the Zayed, who are the big blue men I mentioned above and the banter was comical. She seemed to be the only human that wasn’t afraid of the Zayed which made all of the men automatically like her. Lillie is immersed into their world, trying to fit in, while knowing little to nothing about the Zayed. The book went into the history of the people which once again was like an adult version of The Smurfs.

The Way to Storey is a book for all ages. The storyline is simple and entertaining. The characters are just as much fun as the storyline. Luella is the main character that we follow in this story. She follows a mystery light from her grandfather’s drawer. She is looking for Storey. Everyone has told her that it is a myth and there is no place called Storey. She had a thing to tell people about this mystical place. I loved following Luella. I went on her journey to find out her answers to questions of identity, finding out where she belongs and her home. I highly recommend this fantasy book for all ages.

This is my first book by Laura Keorber and I will be seeking out more stories by her. Her plotline was uplifting. She put so much emotion in this book that I could feel the energy as I read the book. I felt the emotional roller coaster ride as I was turning the pages. The characters are fully developed and connectable. This story is about Andy and all her life. . I have followed Andy throughout her emotional journey of forgiveness and letting go. I have learned that letting go is a good thing for my health and to let my spirit fly high to keep myself grounded. I highly suggest this story. I will warn you to have a box of kleenex and enough time to read this in one sitting.

I was not expecting the very adult version of an old children’s show but I was very pleasantly surprised by this retelling! A quick and fun read that will have you looking for Part 2.
When Lillie is helped on the street by a couple of Zayed, she is falsely targeted by a magician for having ties to them. After her escape from his tower she is taken to their hidden village. She quickly realizes that her connection to these handsome blue strangers is much deeper than she was expecting.
If you are looking for a read that will take you away to another world and possibilities, this is a book for you!

Mila left eleven years ago and did not look back wanting to put her mafia princesses title behind she starts a fresh and becomes a famous model. One day she is blackmailed by an ex lover and as he starts to become a problem she decides to invite the past into the present but what will happen when Dane crashes into her world.
OMG, I could not wait to read this instalment in this series, after Seth and Braelynn’s story you get a peak at Dane but I have waited for his story to understand what smoulders under that moody exterior. At first I thought the character of Mila was spoilt and expectant of everything to be done for her but as the story goes on your get to see the kick ass woman she is.
The story flows and picks up in the middle of the first book, although this is the second or first full book in the series you don’t really need to read the first one to follow the twists and turns but it’s a great story and brilliant.
I love these characters and feel like I’m enrolled in the family and with each word your delve further and further into the mafia world. I can’t wait for the next book in the series and hope this story gets into the mind of Gia.

I really enjoyed this supernatural adventure. It is fast paced from the beginning and keeps you hooked all the way through. With a mixture of romance, magic and danger there is something for everyone and with the cliff hanger at the end I can’t wait to read the next book.
Lillie thought her life was plain and boring. After being homeless and struggling to make ends meet her life seemed on the up until a chance meeting with 2 men from the Zayed clain changed her life forever.
The Zayad clain were ancient and very secretive little were known about them but rumours had them as being killers and scary people. But as Lillie finds out rumours and storys are wrong.
After falling for the attraction between herself and Heath she becomes his mate. As happy as they are there is a danger after her which they need to remove to be happy. With the additional surprise that she can love more than one person in their culture Lillie’s whole world opens up to her. She feels love and accepted that is until the evil they are trying to destroy gets to her again.
Can Heath and the other men in her life save her? Will she give away all their secrets? And will life’s be saved or lost?

This story was a great read. It has a wonderful story line that many a young person can relate to. It is a story about friendship, being different, changes in our lives and being able to deal with them. On top of that we have a mystery to be solved and the supernatural! If you have a reader that liked Harry Potter, or enjoys solving a mystery I would recommend this book to them
