This is an adventure story with a message. The story is told from the point of view of eleven year old Lou as she discovers who she is and journeys to find her way home. The author weaves a story filled with magic, mystery and self-discovery. This has the feel of a timeless classic, a storybook that would appeal to people of all ages. The imagery is clear and the characters relatable. I really enjoyed it and this would make a great addition to any home or school library.
