Today is our first day of summer break so pick up this story to read to my kids this morning. Let me state, this has started a conversation on how my own kids can help the planet and all it’s wonderful creatures survive and thrive. The story is adorable all while sending a message to children that there are steps everyone can take to better our planet. Whether it’s recycling, donating items to others or simply turning off a light, we can all takes steps to be kinder to our planet and it’s lifeforms. I am going to recommend this to my kids teachers as they teach on this subject and this book would be a great addition into the elementary age group on this topic.

The characters were full-bodied and filled with real-life problems. I felt a strong connection to the main character of Sara, a foster child turned Social worker. She was dedicated and strong. Great story and I look forward to more from this great author!!!

This was a good Saturday read. The characters have history, and I liked learning about that history as the story progressed, rather than it being dumped on me. The only thing I wish was explored a bit more was Kayla and Jaxon talking through that history and gaining a bit more understanding of how they ended up where they are. There is absolutely some of that, but I’m nosy and wanted more info 😉

Kayla is a strong character. Yes, she makes mistakes, but doesn’t have to be hit over the head with it to make the right choice, and the reasons behind her choices mostly make sense. Jaxon is stubborn, patient, and understanding. I liked that he didn’t try to smother Kayla, even though her safety was at risk. He asked her to do certain things to stay safe, but didn’t treat her like a child. I didn’t guess who the villain was, which always makes me happy in a suspense novel.

I liked this book! I liked how even though Riley and Xander had an instant connection, they didn’t rush things. Riley was leaning towards breaking up with Charles, but took some time to decide, and communicated with Xander. Their relationship still ended up moving quickly, but they still tried to be friends first. I mystery was interesting, and while I guessed who the antagonist was, there were times I doubted myself!

I liked the 2 main characters. Riley has some obvious trauma in her past and is doing a good job of managing it until things started happening to her, and even then she did pretty well. Xander is the whole package! Sweet, hot, and protective without smothering. I want my own Xander 😉

This childrens book delivers such a beautiful message in such a cute and inspiring way. As someone who has worked with kids her whole life I have always loved the chance to provide and read stories that have a message that is important and this is a story I would read to them everyday.

Mornin the super bird. Can he do it? Can one bird make a change and wake up the people to realize that they need to help the earth because it can’t be done alone. In “Mornin the Super Bird: Mornin finds a way to stop extinction” by Jules Heartly you get a whole hearted story with a very important message that is also lighthearted and catchy so that the message can be more easily delivered. Dirty Tactics: Special Weapons and Tactics, by Peyton Banks is the first book in the series and I listened to it as a an audio book and it was so interesting and captivating and I just couldn’t stop listening. The story is told from the perspective of both of the of the main characters, Marcas MacArthur and Sarena.

The nurse, Sarena, moves into a neighborhood with a sexy S.W.A.T. officer neighbor Marcus who she just can’t keep her eyes off of. Men in uniform are her thing and she doesn’t know if she will be able to resist and then Marcus makes his move.

Marcus doesn’t date. It’s not something you do in his line of work, but something is different about his beautiful neighbor. How far will Marcus go to protect the woman who he wasn’t supposed to fall for in the first place. Only reading this engaging, intense, and steamy novel will get you the answers.

Wow where to even start with Ouroboros, the third book in the Antipodes series? Cam once again ventures from his safe home underneath the dome protecting people from a world-wide deadly protozoa. Seeking more answers but finding shocking answers that lead to even more questions, Cam and his family must prepare to face the one force they never expected.

I have not been this invested in the characters of a story in a long while. Cam, Lae, Freyja, Sorcha, Di….all are relatable, realistic, and wonderfully developed. This series has had me laughing, crying, being angry, heartbroken, and excited to see where the story leads next. There are so many good, terrifying, and unexpected aspects to these stories. T.S. Simons knows how to write a novel that engages the reader, entertains, and leaves you wanting more. This series would be rated higher than 5 stars if I could!

Mornin the Super Bird: Mornin Finds a Way to Stop Extinction by Jules Heartly and illustrated by Diego A. Diaz is an adorable book for both children and adults to enjoy. This is the second installment in the Mornin series, and while the illustrations are beautiful and story endearing, it also touches on a very relevant subject: extinction and the environment. A little bird called Mornin comes up with a plan to stop plants and animals from disappearing forever and puts it into action. I loved following Mornin’s plan and sharing the story with my young daughter, and it is absolutely a fantastic addition to her growing bookshelf – a book I won’t mind reading over and over with her! I hope she not only grows to love little Mornin, but also shares his concern for the environment and all its inhabitants. We both give Mornin 5 out of 5 stars!

A great illustrated book, the art and pictures in this book are so amazingly done, vibrant with color, and follow the story so well. The way the pictures follow that book are very thought out and great. It conveys a good message on the way that when you can put your mind to something you can achieve anything in life. One voice can make a difference in the world, you just need to stand up and say it no matter how small you are. This little blue bird found a way to speck his voice to be heard.

An immersive and fast-paced sci-fi adventure that is bound to keep you flipping pages. This book builds the scenery, characters, and storyline in an epic way. There is never a chance to stop and reflect on the continuous bombs and cliffhangers thrown your way because you want to keep going (or maybe, that’s just me). I had a hard time putting this book down and appreciate the way it was written, truly a great piece of fiction. Andy, our protagonist, teaches many valuable lessons, and leaves a lingering reflection of hope and courage for our own world. This book is quite literally “out of this world!”

Mornin The Super Bird – Finds A Way to Fight extinction is a short read with lots of pretty pictures . My three year old son and I absolutely loved this book. We loved it so much we’ve read it several times. This is a super cute children book with a great message I loved how morning asked for help from his friends in helping to figure out a way to save himself and the other birds from extinction. Can they figure out a way to save themselves? I highly recommend reading this cute book especially if you have young childre.My three year old said everyone needed more popcorn because that makes everything better. We truly enjoyed reading this book and look forward to reading more from this Author.

What a fun read! My kids absolutely loved this story! Jules Heartly has created a family favorite character! I have four kids ages 6-11 and they related easily to the story. It was fun to see their faces light up as they tried to guess what would happen next. We hear the words “endangered” and “extinct” frequently when visiting the zoo but my kids never really thought there was much they could do to help. This book clarified for them that they can make a difference! What a fun way to teach kids about taking care of their environment. We can’t wait to read more Mornin stories!

Mornin the brave bird takes on an epic quest to save bird species from extinction in the adorable, well-written, informative book! It is very catchy, but gets straight to the point of how to create a better world to protect all living beings on the planet. It was a great book that my little niece loved (she suckered me into two readings before bedtime). Such a simple, yet vast theme that really hits home for everyone sharing space on our planet. Great start to open up big conversations for our future world leaders! Can’t wait to read further titles from the author!

Mornin The Superbird Book Two by Jules Heartly was a really good read! Not only was it sweet and super quick to read, but it had a really great message as well. My daughter enjoyed me reading this book to her and she loved seeing all the birds and the pretty colors. I think this is a great way to teach young children how to help take care of the environment while learning about extinction as well. I thoroughly enjoyed this book and was pleasantly surprised. I think every parent needs to read this to their children!

I absolutely loved this book! It was adorable, informative, and beautiful!! The message was very well articulated for children to understand and want to become advocates for the earth and all its beautiful entities. I loved the aspects that were included for children; the singing, the colourful pictures and the message that was conveyed. Jules Heartly (author) and Diego Diaz (illustrator) did a fantastic job with these. I was very impressed with the way that Heartly and Diaz decided to teach children about such a big topic. They were able to grab children’s attention and have them want to care about the birds and even understand, to a degree about pollution. I loved even more that the author and illustrator were able to give children ideas on what they can do to help! They included these in the actual story and then at the end by giving websites to check out. All in all a great story for children and adults alike.

Mornin The Super Bird: Mornin Finds a Way to Stop Extinction by Jules Heartly is a fantastic children’s book that is entertaining but also informative. I read this book to my daughter this evening and she loved everything second of it. Reading this book easily took us twice as long as usual because she had to look at every single picture and talk about it.
Even though the book isn’t aimed at my age range I can honestly say I also thoroughly enjoyed the book. I love how involved my little one became but I also loved how colourful and entertaining the book was. It was informative and educational without being dull or lecturing.
This is an incredible book that I would urge any parent to buy. I am already looking forward to when we read this book again.

This is book 5 in the Chase Security Series and just like previous books we are taken on a journey involving danger, trafficking and a man who will stop at nothing to protect what’s his. I loved this story. The main character Wes is strong and well trained as we have come to expect but he also has a softer side which is endearing and you can’t help fall in love with him.
Our leading lady Ellie is a fighter. She has a history she is trying to escape from and like most women she has insecurities about her body and about how people see her.
Together their relationship is beautiful and becomes something powerful.
As well as the romance there is also danger when a body is found on the Chase Security property who did it and could that be   someone who is out to get Ellie?Is it someone from her past or a new enemy and can they find out who before its too late. The journey keeps you guessing and wondering who you can actually trust.

Thrilling, action packed, enemies to lovers with some spice thrown in! This book has a little bit for every type of reader! Tasha was a fierce main character, she did what she had to do to survive but also followed her heart and stayed true to who she was. Levi was an alpha in every sense of the word, he was strong, commanding and passionate. Watching the vampires and lycans realize how much they actually needed each other to get through this war was *chefs kisses*. I can’t wait to see how this story plays out in book two! I want to see them make it to their pairs!

Although I’ve read the first book in this series, I hadn’t read #2. I still really enjoyed this book and being able to read more about characters old and new and for the most part, it still made sense. I felt like the two main characters Cam and Freya really grow up and while their relationship deepens, they also feel like two very settled adults who’ve been through a lot but are also there for each other. I was a bit uncomfortable with how Amara was described as a Thai woman but other than that, I also enjoyed the many other characters in this world. So overall I felt like this novel is a bit more slow-paced than the first but it was still very much an enjoyable read.

This book focuses on Wes. Wes is opening up a new facility and is about to meet all of his new employees. However, his introduction to Eleanor comes a little earlier than expected due to accident. As the facility gets ready to open, Wes must deal with employees who are immature and bullies, his best friend who is still healing from his injuries, and his new equine therapist who he is developing feelings for.

Ellie is ready to start her new job doing what she loves. Although she doesn’t make the first impression on her new boss that she would want to, she is excited to work with the horses and help the vets that will come through the program. However, her past secrets are starting to catch up to her and she doesn’t know who she can trust anymore. When her trust is broken this time…she may have to run.

There is a lot going on in this book. The secret that Eleanor is hiding comes out in pieces and kept my attention the entire time. I enjoyed the interaction with all of the different characters. Getting Troy’s backstory made me want to read his book when it comes out. Overall, another good story in the series!

I. AM. HOOKED.
This is the first book of this series and all I can ask myself is WHEN can I get more?! I read it all in a few hours and wanted nothing more than to jump right into the next one. Hazel did a fantastic job writing these characters and their story. Vanessa and her brother are incredibly close, her clients love her, and she has a real talent for hairdressing. She is completely dedicated to finding a cure for her brother when she meets the brothers. Her father had ruined her idea of men up until this point. But what will she choose – indulging in lust/love or the life of her brother? A life for a life. The cliffhanger in this one is rough, but the book is so worth reading!

Once again Simons does not disappoint and where so many series lose something as they go on, this only seems to gain. The writing is as ever sophisticated and takes the reader on a thrilling journey.
Cam is reeling after the loss of his wife and decides to leave the home he has found and his new friend in order to find answers and of course, hoping that somewhere on his travels he will find the healing he so desperately craves. His journey takes him far from everything he thought he knew about his reality and the truth of the world he now inhabits.
This is a really great read and honestly, I would recommend the entirety of the series. I have gotten addicted to Simon’s writing that is well above much of what I have read recently. she takes you on a rollercoaster of feels, all whilst revealing a vivid and extraordinary world, that feels so real. You should read this, you will not regret it.

I absolutely loved this story of Liam & Kendall. At first Liam’s cold approach toward Kendall was a bit icy, but then Kendall started to show Liam the good he has in him. While the story unfolds. You understand why Liam is so cold & driven to perfection. No doubt these two together made for some very hot scenes once they both let their guard down especially Liam. Definitely 5 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟.

Tally is only 13 and after the death of her mother travels with her father to India where the adventure begins. This is a well written paranormal mystery recommended for pre-teens and up. There is decent world building and character development and Tally was very easy to relate to. A very strong start to what looks to be a terrific series.

Moonlit Kiss by Amy McKinley is part of the Moonlit Destination series. This book can be read as a standalone.

I don’t want to describe the book too much and give it away so I won’t say much. Gianna lands her dream job that lands her in Venice. It’s everything she thought it would be. The more time she spends there though, something feels off. In the meantime she meets Sergio and their relationship starts to grow. Not everything is always as it seems.

As with other Amy McKinley books there’s a bit of suspense in this one. I couldn’t put it down and had to find out more. Gianna and Sergio are great characters. The book was so well written I almost felt like I was in Venice myself. I definitely recommend!

I think this might be one of the best children’s books I’ve seen in a while. I loved the writing, the whole concept of the story, and the illustrations were out of this world. Will definitely be buying hard copies for Christmas stockings this year.

I can absolutely see how this could be used in the classroom and a whole lesson with discussions and projects being included. It has a great message that could be expanded in so many parts of our children’s minds. I really loved this and can’t wait for my grandbabies to have their copies.
