Tally and the Angel by Eleanor Dixon had me hooked from beginning to end. Tally is a 13 year old girl who has recently lost her mother. Her mother has left her. Necklace with a surprise inside. This surprise helps Tally deal with her loss. Tally accompanied her father to India. In India, children have begun being kidnapped so her father never wants her to be alone. She meets a boy named Balvan and they discover a horrifying secret.
