This is a story that will surprise you each step of the way. This creepy and intriguing thriller kept me guessing each step of the way with every twist and turn being thrown. The characters and story itself was original and with each scene more thought provoking then the last.
With each character we experience their dark side and find the many hidden agendas proving that each individual may not be all that they seem to be.
Troy is a lonely soul who cannot escape his dysfunctional family. He uses chat rooms to attempt to find love but in his daily life has few friends with his only constant being his job at the diner. He has been abused all his life by his father, and only continues to live at home to make sure his mother is safe and protected. As the story progresses we start to see Troy unraveling as he continues to deal with his father, he is forced to deal with an ex-girlfriend Veronica who claims to be pregnant and appears unstable, and lastly issues at work that he cannot ignore. A family history shows the possibility if a “killer gene” and you begin to wonder if he may be a product of his DNA.
