I genuinely enjoyed this novel. The author truly brought the struggles, happiness, strength and love out in her characters. From the title you know the weekend fling would end up as more but I thoroughly enjoyed the little surprises that brought this story to a different level than a traditional HEA. I also love that she used a woman with a “not so perfect body” as the heroine of this story. Even the supporting characters have a great story. Definitely worth the read!!!

The author did a fantastic job of showing how magical Christmas time can be. I felt like I was reading a Hallmark Christmas Movie. I really enjoyed the evolution of Olivia’s character. Jace’s character had such a great mix of . masculine war hero, loving and funny. Every girls dream. I genuinely loved the storyline and the characters. I’m probably gonna reread this again closer to Christmas.

This book was so unbelievably good. The author has another hit that I hope will become a series. I have not read anything like it before, the characters are so unique and unforgettable. As a book with Paranormal characters, I can’t say I have read about a vulture shifter before. It is obvious that they are passionate, too. They have such big hearts. The characters, the secondary as well as the primary, are what really make it a phenomenal story.

This book pulled me in immediately and I want to know so much more about them, past, present and future. This is a MM Paranormal Romance that is definitely worth picking up. I beg the author to give us more!

Surprise Baby for Mr. Fischer (Curvy Ever After, #2)Surprise Baby for Mr. Fischer by Stephanie Harrell
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

This is such a beautiful love story. This book absolutely blew me away from the very first page. I really like that Harper is not a size two, she has curves and Lincoln is immediately taken in by her beauty. It doesn’t take him getting to know her before he finds her attractive. He is attracted to her physically and then also mentally once he does get to know her. Harper had such a rough childhood being bullied because of her weight and she doesn’t think that anyone, much less someone as hot as Lincoln would find her so physically attractive. It doesn’t take him long to get her to see her physical beauty as well and to realize that it’s just as amazing as her inner beauty. Lincoln had a really rough childhood and doesn’t feel that he could be a good father but he takes the leap and starts to realize that not only can he do this but he wants it with all of his heart. They face some pretty rough obstacles along the way but the ending is all I could have hoped for. If you’re an absolute die heard romance fan like I am, this is one book you definitely won’t want to miss.

This book was absolutely phenomenal! While it had a rollercoaster ride of emotions it was truly exceptional! Karina Kantas is amazing and her hard work shows in this book! While it may not be for everyone it really was so well written and the plot kept me on the edge of my seat. I was completely engulfed by this book and read it from cover to cover. If you like dark romances and don’t mind some more controversial stuff in print this book is one you DO NOT want to miss!

Christmas Cookies on a Cruise Ship (The Perfect Pairings Series Book 1) by Parker Fairfield is a fun christmas romance, reminded me of a Hallmark movie.

Olivia Chasen, a chemist, and a budding writer, is on a cruise to escape spending Christmas with her twin sister and her new fiancé—ex. Jace is a Navy SEAL. He’s on the cruise going to his friend’s wedding. But unknown to them, they are up for a treat of their lifetime, when Mr and Mrs Claus themselves step in to make a perfect Christmas match.

It is a lovely book to bring on the Christmas spirits. I enjoyed every bit of it.

This was a beautiful story! It gave you all the romantic Hallmark Christmas vibes, and kept you smiling. Still a bit early, but this book does help you get in the mood for Christmas!

Dr. Olivia was a wonderful character, and it was a delight to watch her fall in love. Jace was perfectly sweet and lovable. He and Olivia together was a lot of fun, and the chemistry was there from the start. We had wonderful older characters, and were even visited by the amazing Mr. and Mrs. Claus. This book was sweet and a feel good read all around.

First things first, I highly suggest reading the first book of this series, as there are some things mentioned in the second book from the first book. Now that, is out of the way holy cow!!!! She did it again. This author never ceases to amaze me with her writing skills. Not only do we get another awesome badass female lead, she is also has human flaws which makes her relatable. This book follows Sophia in the following events of the first book. There is just so much of this book that I absolutely loved. The storytelling, the writing itself, the characters, everything was amazing and I couldn’t finish it fast enough! I can’t wait see what’s next by this amazing author!

Unlikely to Fit (A Parker Lake Novel Book 2)Unlikely to Fit by Olivia Sherwood
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

This was a great 5 star read. We have Breckin and Griff in a small town both trying to move forward from hurtful pasts. Unfortunately Breckin’s past works at the same school as she does. Needing a girls night out she and her two friends go to Griffs bar.

Griff has no intentions of moving forward, his wife was his one true love. But…something about Breckin pulls him in. The more time that these two spend together the closer they become. Can they heal their broken hearts and find true love again?

Overall I really enjoyed this read, my emotions were all over the place. We get LOL moments, drama, crying and so much more. I LOVED all of the characters. Griff’s Grandma and Breckins friends had me LOL so many times. I would love to have a feisty grandma like Griffs. If you’re looking for a great 2nd chance romance that gives you a little bit of everything then this is the one for you. 1-click and get started today.

I really enjoyed this book and could not put it down. This is Harper and Lincoln’s story of a chance encounter with Lincoln saving Harper from drowning to a hot, lustful weekend ending up with a positive pregnancy test. When Lincoln returns to Rhode Island to see Harper after he finishes his movie shoot, he finds out he is going to be a dad. I love how the story unfolds and you also get a feel on the past hurts that haunt both Lincoln and Harper everyday and how they come to overcome these obstacles. This story is wonderful and full some great moments and lots of love, passion and truly a HEA. 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

What’s not to like? There’s unpredictability, suspense, action, chemistry, and intrigue. This author has the magic touch in weaving an engaging story. When the heart and body are at odds-true love will always prevail. Enzo, the ever-present protector- torn between being with the love of his life and family honour. Feisty, talented, and resilient Sofia is conflicted between following her heart and being a loyal friend. Toss a tenacious, vile, obsessive antagonist in the mix, and you’ve got a masterpiece. The 2nd book in the series exceeded my expectations. I’m excited to see what this author writes next!

This book was just as amazing as the first one! Lauren’s continued growth and her attitude and sass just kept me, and all the other characters, on our toes. Seeing the development in the relationship between Lauren and Sam from the animosity in Silent Gavel to the flirtationship and friendship they build is so real. I adore the relationship between Lauren and Kate, familial relationships like that are amazing because everyone needs that person they can look up to. This author is phenomenal with the relationships she builds between her characters and I look forward to reading more about Crawford, and Lauren especially.

This book was amazing! The author does an amazing job of world-building! The characters are so relatable and watching the growth throughout the story, especially in the midst of the conflict was excellent! Lauren is so strong and intelligent and her wit and sass kept me engrossed in every little bit of the story. Her thoughts on coworkers and other characters in the story were so realistic, because everybody works with those people who don’t pull their weight. Watching her try and figure out what happened was amazing seeing how she worked it through in her head.

I was not expecting to fall in love with this book and it’s characters! Brant is such a strong loving man with a soft heart. Aubrey is a strong independent woman who doesn’t realize how much her and Brant really need each other! The plot made me not want to put this book down. I wanted to know where the story was going and if Aubrey would see what a great man Brant is. The needing to know who the stalker was kept me guessing and wanting more. This is one of those books you want to finish but don’t really want the story to end. I will definitely be going back and reading the first 3!

A Sweet Christmas: A Sweet Confections Novella by Nicole Richards – Review by Francis O’Sullivan

A Sweet ChristmasA Sweet Christmas by Nicole Richard
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

A Sweet Christmas is a Sweet Confections Novella. It’s a short, fun, festive story! Great for romance lovers looking for something to read around the holidays, when you can get an hour or so to yourself.

For me, the big draw of this story is the baked goods. Thea runs a bakery and there’s plenty of description of the delicious cakes she makes! I love reading about food (although I love eating it more… this book could come with a free cupcake?)

Ben is a great character! I like how much he looks after Thea, and his sister Becca. Becca is also a great character – so friendly and enthusiastic!

There’s a little bit of tension and drama, enough to keep it interesting but not so much that it isn’t a comforting, light read.

This book gets four stars from me! I’d recommend it to romance fans looking for something light but sexy to read over the holidays.

I found it to be like most self help books and trying to help you have a more positive/ productive life. I was hoping for a little more and it just didn’t hit my hopes I guess. If your looking for a book to help remind you why it’s so important to have a positive outlook and someways to do it, this book is for you. it wasn’t a bad book or anything, I dont know how to explain it but for me the title and everything made me think one way but it went the opposite direction.

It was a cute book overall, not one of my favs. Without going into detail or give anything away … This book needs some more editing, there was a few issues that aggravated me when reading. I found the beginning a little wonky and a tad too much for me. I get why it was written that way but I guess it wasn’t for me … definitely a Christmas book for the season.

Let me tell you! Wow! This story is amazing. The author knows how to tell a story and keep it interesting all the way through. I was so impressed with this story line and will most definitely go back and read the first three books in the series!
Luke, a single dad, is in a band and needs to find a nanny to watch his wonderful daughter while he is away.
Here comes Nikki, a nanny. She might be a fan favorite. Or at least a fan of Luke’s band! Will things heat up between these two! Will her true fan girl come out!
This story will keep you strumming along till the last beat.

I have to admit, from the synopsis I was skeptical. I love being surprised when this happens. This book kept you on your toes and guessing as to what would happen next. Dahlia Nite just wants to live as normal a life as she can, blending in with the humans around her.

A hundred years ago Dahlia came to this world to escape execution at the hands of her dragon Queen. In that time she has had to hide her dragon nature from those around her and keep moving to stay ahead of those who seek her and those who would notice she hasn’t changed over the years.

I really enjoyed the characters and plot to this book. I’m excited to see where this series goes.

Bakery owner Thea Sheldon has had some problems with relationships and is hesitant to jump anywhere near the world of dating when she meets Benjamin Sweet. Beyond his good looks and obvious charm, there’s something about him that dares her to hope. Despite this novella being short, I never once felt overwhelmed by the course of the story as I have with similarly sized books. Everything was well-written, steamy, and filled with enough sweets to give me cavities, I ate up the chapters in no time! By the end, I was left wondering where this book has been all my life. If you’re looking for a steamy Christmas romance, you’ve found the right book!

I was very excited to read this, especially after reading another book from this author and loving it! Even though she discusses her ways of practicing, this book did not read “witchcraft” to me. To me, it reads more like a self-help book. I appreciated the way the author introduced her form of magic, brujeria, and connected it to her cultural background which, historically, often contradicted each other’s practices. I enjoyed the author’s guidance in regards to letting go of toxicity and being open to my intuition but I felt some of the information was repetitive.

This book is everything. It’s romance, it’s fantasy, it’s a psychological thriller, and it’s supernatural. So, it is all of my favorite genre’s wrapped into one. The author understood the assignment. The detail in this book was immaculate; it provided an immensely clear picture of Drimera, along with the characters in it. The characters have more personality than some real life humans do. I loved everything about this novel. I am incredibly excited to find an exit to the second book of this series.

This was a light, sweet holiday read. It would definitely make a cute Hallmark Christmas movie for sure. The interactions between the characters with Santa Claus and Mrs. Claus was a unique touch. I really thought it was crafty that Jace actually exists and that Olivia was truly meant to meet him. That piece for the pairing was really sweet and different. There were some details that I felt kind of took away from the main story but overall I definitely enjoyed it.

When I first picked up this book I expected a sweet holiday romance that was easy to read and a great way to get into the Christmas spirit. What I got was all of that but much more too. I thought the characters were everything in this book. They have such a strong connection – the chemistry is evident right from the start. I really engaged with their story and I wanted to know more about them both.
This really is a brilliant holiday story. It is the kind of book that you can curl up on a sofa with and become immersed in what is going in. This is a great book that is well worth a read.
