King Bastard (A Dark Sparrow Novel Book 6) by India Kells. I have loved this series and I am sad its over! India Kells is one of my go to authors and this book was as great as I expected it to be. This is story of Lazarus and man oh man, he’s the perfect book boyfriend! Lazarus (Oz) and his brothers have almost taken down their father and they think they have protected everyone close to them. The one missing link is Sasha. When Oz almost died, Sasha helped nurse him back to life and the one thing he didn’t expect was to grow feelings for her. Leaving her unprotected is the one thing their dad can hurt. The Chemistry between Oz and Sasha is off the charts and I couldn’t put it down once I started reading. Oz will do whatever it takes to protect Sasha and I mean anything. Will Oz be able to keep Sasha safe and will they finally let their walls down to be together? Read King Bastard to find out!

My first book by this author but it won’t be the last! Fell in love with the characters – can’t go past an alpha male who is a marshmallow when it comes to his woman. Marriage of convenience are some of my favourite stories and this one did not disappoint. There was even a sneak peek of the next book in the series at the end – that will soon be added to my tbr list!!

Hilarious fantasy adventure I absolutely enjoyed this book. Such a fun read. Harlow was relatable and quirky with a strong sense of self. The storyline was original and well written. With a paranormal sword with a mind of it’s own, plenty of action and hints at romance there is a lot within the pages but the author delivers it with ease. A very strong series starter and I will definitely check out book 2.

What a cute story to share with older children. I just love that the book in powers older children/ pre teens to be “Dream keepers”. Passing along the spirit of Santa is a great thing to share. This is a short read and enjoyable for any age group. I sure enjoyed the story and will share with my grandson when he ask the question “is Santa real”.

So well written! Lexi is probably my favorite character and I say that because she is my idea of a heroine…..even with the odds stacked against her and pretty much everyone against her, she goes for what she wants and knows is right! So what do you do when you find a dead body on the first day with your new partner Xavier? I was pulled in from the first page and have already recommended it to friends. Solving mysteries, loss, love? Read it today.

I feel that I can relate to Harlow because she’s had a hard life like I have and she’s resilient. This book has helped me escape to a fantasy world where ai could actually pretend to be Harlow and be badass like she is and take on the world.
I was lost in this world and wanted it to continue. This writer knew what they were doing and wrote well. I’ll be reading her next book for sure.

I loved that this book helped to engage the reader. As a person who was deaf as a child and had surgeries enabling them to become hard of hearing the things and activities the author gives to help able bodied people to understand is revioting. I believe more of this is needed. I also loved the poems as it empowered and created visual senses in the mind that were strong and you could imagine them as though you there in that moment.

Small town pub owner, Amber Tatum, craves a family to call her own, especially during the holidays. But painful childhood memories make her steer clear of the annual traditions the small town of Cold Creek has to offer. When a handsome Italian chef saunters into her bar and jingles her bells, she wonders if her Christmas wish might possibly come true.
Giovanni Sentieri is ready to put down roots and take over his grandmother’s Italian Café. After a devastating divorce, he finds himself as a single father, struggling to balance work and life. The last thing he expected was to fall for a spunky bar owner. So when he learns about her tragic childhood after a few too many shots of whiskey, he invites her to spend the holidays with his family.
Will the magic of Christmas bring this couple together, or will the self-proclaimed Grinch of Cold Creek turn her back on the possibility of love and family?
