A Hundred Wishes (Band of Sisters) by Marianne Rice – Review by Juls Dick

A Hundred Wishes (Band of Sisters)A Hundred Wishes by Marianne Rice
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

A Hundred Wishes is the third book in the Band of Sisters series by Marianne Rice. This is the first book of the series that I have read, and I was able to understand and follow this as a standalone. When military veteran Gina is retired from the Army on a medical discharge after being injured horrifically on tour, she makes the decision to move to a small community to be close to her best friends. She is content with her new life, slowly recovering from her injuries and adjusting to being a civilian again. She doesn’t expect to find love and is very reluctant to get involved with anyone. When she meets fire investigator Bryce, he makes his intentions very clear from the start, but Gina is not as sure. This was a nice second chance at life romance novel. The characters were likable, and you hope that they get the happy ending they deserve. I would recommend to readers who are fans of contemporary romance.
