A Hundred Wishes (Band of Sisters) by Marianne Rice – Review by Moriah Venable
A Hundred Wishes by Marianne Rice
My rating: 4 of 5 stars
After a roadside bomb leaves her burned, former Army Sergeant Gina Fisher takes comforter in teaching online and sewing.
But her inner peace may come to an end when arson Inspector Byrce Cambridge takes an interest in her but she shoots him down. Seeing him again the next day at the bowling alley, Gina can’t resist the connection between them.
I really enjoyed this novel and I felt that the female protagonist being the one that is scarred and a former sergeant when I usually see that as part of the male protagonist to be different and refreshing in a way.
This was definitely a love worth fighting for and worth a read.
