Spring’s Showers focuses on the importance of choosing happiness over who, or what, can bring you the most comfortable lifestyle. The Gods think Cupid’s job as a matchmaker is too easy. Spring’s Showers is Mother Nature’s chance to prove that any of the Gods can produce a love match. But she soon learns that true love is harder to manufacture than she realizes. C. A. King’s quick reads still deliver the lovable, realistic characters as well as great works building. I can’t wait to read the rest of this series!

I really liked this book a lot! It gave me some “Charmed” vibes with a cop with supernatural powers due to her being a witch and the Savior that will be faced with an upcoming event in which she has to save the world. I liked the characters and was quickly invested in their journeys. I really enjoyed the main character Ezri’s backstory and thought that this was a unique take on a character that is a witch since there was no silly family or familiar causing drama or interference. I would have given this 5 stars, but I thought the ending was rushed and a few of the explanations didn’t seem to fit, which made me sad since I absolutely loved the first 90% of the book. Looking forward to future books in this series, however!

I enjoyed this story. This is an author that I have loved reading from the first book I picked up by him. I enjoyed his writing style as well as his attention to details that give his stories a realistic feel. I enjoy being pulled into his stories from the start and kept engaged to the end. This book is no different. It is the fifth and final book in this series. I highly suggest reading the previous books in this series to help your enhancement of this series. The characters are relatable, strong, creative and supportive to each other. They have great world building and had me coming back for more. A story of vampires, humans and a face of a final test. You don’t want to miss what happens in this book. This is fast paced and easy to read. An entertaining story where one person could make all the difference. I enjoyed the growth of the characters and the plot throughout. There are some twists and turns that I didn’t see coming and neither will you. This is a great story by a great author that I highly recommend.

The final book of the series, Rowena is fighting for her life. Sanguina is crumbling around her. Her Emperor has died. She is fighting an infection that is turning her into a Pale. She hasn’t told Vincenzo about this. She risks losing him. She is battling conspiracy theories. Life has basically turned to crap. Can she save Sanguina? Can she right the wrongs? I found the story pretty interesting. I came into the series at book 5 so I did miss a bit of the back story. I will suggest you start at the beginning of the series. I will going back and reading from book 1. Rowena is pretty badass. Though she keeps secrets, she’s trying to protect her friends and her people. She faces some uphill battle. I am glad that she has Vincenzo by her side for most of this. She has some very hard decisions. I found it well-written. The use of the emperor’s in the different eras was epic. This gave a classic feel to a modern world. It was very dytopian because it was out of place but oddly, not. The characters felt very classic also with the mixture of modern, such as the guy yelling at Rowena as he came into the studio. The ending gave it a beautiful closure. Oddly enough, it fit within the story. This story would reach out to lovers of several types of stories. I recommend it to mystery lovers and fantasy/scifi lovers.

This is my first time reading a book by author Calla Zae. I’m highly impressed by her creativity and imagination😍. The world she set her story in is very intriguing. I would never be able to come up with some of the things she does. It makes me want to see how they would pull it off in real life. I only wish it was longer because Vanessa and Arkon are so freaking cute♥️.I hope to see more of them as I continue to read the series. I’ll recommend this book to anyone willing to listen😊

This is the third book in this series which is just as great as the first two books in this series. This is an author that I have enjoyed from the first book. I never hesitate to pick up one of her books. One of the things that I enjoy about this author is her writing style and her attention to details that make her stories realistic. She didn’t let me down in this book. The characters are not only connectable but also pulled me into the story from the first word. I enjoyed how the author was able to bring the story to life through them. They are great, strong, supportive characters that just made the story for me. I also enjoyed their growth throughout the story which made it easy to read. This is a fast paced romance story that is hard to put down and kept me coming back for more. A story that is full of hot, steamy romance that takes to the underworld of cage fighting. Juliet and Jonathan are such great characters and have great chemistry. You don’t want to miss what happens with these two. I really enjoyed reading this story and I highly recommend it.

Well this story starts off right in the middle of a bank robbery. I love how the author just grabs us right from the beginning. Marvel climbs under a desk which is where he meets Virginia and it all begins. So many good themes in this story – finding love at an older age, trusting someone again, and that appearances are not always what they seem. Wonderful story, great characters, and great series!

WOW! Where do I begin this book has it all! Lots of twist and turns, just when you think you have it figured out something else comes forth. I loved these characters and how the author made them come so alive. This is not just your ordinary love story, but it’s full of redemption, bravery and reconnection. True love will conquer all and win in the end. Even though this is book 4, I never once thought I missed something, so this can be a stand-alone series. Looking forward to reading more from this author.

I made the mistake of reading book 2 before book 1 thinking it was a stand alone series. Once I realized my mistake I went back to read book one. I highly suggest reading Book one first as you will so lost reading book 2. The thrills in this book had my skin crawling. I love sushi but man, this had me questioning my favorite food group! This series is turning out to be so good and I’m not much of a fan of Zombies, but are these really zombies is a good question to ask yourself! Can’t wait to read the next one!

This is the first book in the Romantically seasonal series, and I personally loved it. I’ve read a few books from the author and I’m never disappointed. She again has brought the book to life, and I loved every minute of it. I was not able to put the book down. I recommend this book for anyone who is into the paranormal/ romance genre. The author’s writing style is unique and leaves you on the edge of your sit in curiosity wondering what’s going to happen next.

This is a great read by an exceptional author. I have read many books by this author and they are always among my favorites and this one is no different. I was pulled in from the start and entertained throughout. Marvel and Virginia have been through so much in their lives that they tend to keep to themselves. Marvel at least has his MC brothers and their families but Virginia is alone. They meet in unexpected circumstances. Will their past keep them acting on the attraction and chemistry between them? This story has suspense, twists and turns, wonderful characters and so much more. This is a must read that I highly recommend.

Wow! A heartbreaking story of childhood trauma and the love that transcends that trauma will leave you shocked and emotional. Chains was in the foster system and endured severe trauma. This isn’t for the faint of heart. Not all of it is a good feel read. It seems like his life is so full of suffering. While it isn’t a fun read, I am glad I read the story. This was my first book in the series so I will be going back and starting at beginning of the series. I want to know everyone’s story now.

Spring’s Showers is the first book in the Romantically Seasonal Series and I absolutely loved reading this fast paced short Paranormal/Romance. This is a cute short story that once you start reading you won’t want to put it down until you’ve finished. I’m a huge fan of this author and her style of writing and her attention to detail is simply amazing. This is a cute story that has a bit of mythology mixed with romance Get ready to be taken on quite the ride as Cupid and Mother Mature set out to prove one is better than the other. Can Cupid prove his job is much harder than it may look? I highly recommend reading this cute story to find out what happens next. I can’t wait for the next book in this series. Spring’s Showers was definitely a good start to what I’m expecting to be an amazing series.

This book is book four of the series. Due to some content, it may not be suitable for young readers.

Marvel loves the mismatched family the Mac created. While he is part of this family, he’s not quite the same. Everyone around his is building their family but Marvel doesn’t feel that same pull. His world was torn apart once and he’ll never give a woman the power to do that again. Virginia didn’t see the betrayal coming and didn’t expect to be blamed for something she had no part in. After hiding out to avoid the world, she never expected Marvel. Can two people who’ve been broken and betrayed, fix each other?

I really enjoyed this book. I’ve enjoyed every book I’ve read by this author. It just gets better and better! I loved the characters! Marvel wanted nothing to do with any woman and it was nice seeing how meeting the right one can change things. It was a good read!

I don’t think there are enough words to describe just how much I love this author’s work. I could honestly read about her amazing bikers of the Satan’s Devils MC for hours, days, weeks on end. I really do love them that much. Added to that, we finally got Marvel’s story.
Although one of the original group of Satan’s Devils, Marvel’s HEA comes much later in life so his story comes in the 2nd generation series, where the original band of bikers are in their 50’s and it’s their children who now run the roost.
Marvel has always been a bit of a grumpy miserable character and we now get to find out why he is the way he is and then get to see a whole new side of this very lovable, sweet man when the right woman comes along. Although being caught up in a bank robbery is not how you would expect to find your significant other but these Satan’s Devils like to do things differently.
Virginia is such an amazing character too. My heart breaks for what this poor woman has had to face in the past year or so. I couldn’t imagine going through something like that. Needless to say, she’s damaged emotionally and a relationship is the last thing on her mind.
I adored reading about this couple and would 100% recommend this book.

So Marvel has just walked into the bank and already he has me in stitches as I can just see everything going down ….

But things take a sudden turn and Marvel had his suspicions of some of his fellow patrons and rightly so and he finds himself in a situation that I don’t think anyone expected but his reaction surprised me , instead of going in guns blazing he took a different approach and to me that speaks volumes of the man he is and this is exactly where his path meets up with the lovely Virginia ….

Look I don’t think Virginia expected her day was going to turn out the way it did but I think she got more than she bargained for not only with the bank drama but hello she gets Marvel I’d say you won gold girl or should I rather say black leather 😉🔥

I was holding my breath to see what the Satans devils were going to do , one of their own was in trouble …. Not just from the bad guys but his heart was soon to be on the line ….

Marvel just went into protector mode when he realised Virginias distress and that’s where he won me over , these biker boys all pretend to be tough but they’re really just teddies when it comes to their loved ones , I still wouldn’t want to be on their bad side though ….

Being part of Marvel and Virginia journey had be an absolute treat and again Satan devils just opened their homes , hearts and arms to Virginia and made them one of her own … love you guys ❣️🔥❣️🔥❣️🔥❣️

These men are my kryptonite !

I love being around the compound and my people , I feel safe , secure and like I belong ❣️

Noah aka Throttle is the enforcer of the club and he was the one Hawk went to when he wasn’t sure of who and what and what he had to do wasn’t easy , in any case Throttle is a rough diamond but he has heart ….

So big scary Throttle not only has to deal with a stalker , he also has to deal with a woman and matters of the heart and quite frankly I think the latter scares him more 😂

Now the Gwen he knew then and the Gwen he knows now has him on edge and she stirs feelings and things within him that he’s not ready for but wants if that makes sense …..

Throttle and Gwen have some serious chemistry going but that’s not all they have to deal with because add some crazy chick to the mix and we have a lot of action and when I tell you this bits is crazy I’m not joking , she really is a few beers short of a 6 pack !

I’ve enjoyed every book but Throttle had me on the edge of my seat , my heart palpitating and my nerves shattered ! A brilliant read !

Agin the cover art …. I just wanted to reach out and hold on so tight and snuggle into that chest …..

Now I get where Eli ( Hawk ) is coming from with the questions he’s got , I mean he was born into to this safe bubble albeit it dangerous, but it’s like a world on its own with its own rules and they don’t really know life out of it and the decision he makes is life altering and doesn’t just affect him but his unborn child and wife a well ….

Liv and Hawk have been one since the beginning of time and I can’t see them separate but things take a strange turn and Liv is loyal and it couldn’t be easy for her , just shows you the power of love ❤️ but at the same time something is ailing Hawk and isn’t well … trouble calls and Liv knows who really has their best interests at heart and calls on the brothers of Satan to help ….

These bikers come across as big , burly and dangerous and trust me they are but underneath that they have massive hearts and when Joker and Hawk have a heart to heart I actually had to stop reading and just breath …,,

Despite what went down when one of them is down the whole family gets together and fights the battle this was a hard and beautiful read for me ….

I’m a real sucker for cover art and this one is such a treat and after I read it , it took on a different meaning for me , added another dimension if you like …..

So Amy and Drew were joined at the hop as youngsters , despite their age gap but as time went on it became a bit of a problem and Drew had to put a stop to it and Amy always wanted to leave the compound and do something different and being daddy’s blue eyed girl she got her way …,

Amy heads home for Christmas with a “ friend” and folk can feel something is off and when Xander comes out with the truth there’s no holding the Satan men back and I wish I could ride and die with them !

Xander is so gentle , nurturing and caring and fufills his role well and at times I felt like submitting to him myself 😉 but I couldn’t cheat on Drew could !?

I loved being around these men and their machines ,the compound has become my home and the people have become my people ❣️ looking forward to our journey together …. The only thing nagging at me is that Archangel is on free foot roaming …..

P.S . I’ll never be able to look at a Santa hat the same way again 🤫😂🔥🤦‍♀️

These two books were so much fun to read. It was a quick read filled with wonderful characters that were just completely lovable. The author did a wonderful job writing a story that moved quickly but also gave great details. It was definitely a page turning and I could not put this book down. The world the author created was such a wonderful escape and had a very Hallmark channel vibe to it. The best part of a box set was not having to wait to see what happened in the sequel. The two stories flowed wonderfully together.

After seeing how little she was left as a tip she’s caught saying a few choice words when Jeremy walks back in to make sure she got the tip she deserved. From there things seems to move rather quickly and before we know it they are exclusively seeing each other. What will happen when Jeremy’s lease is the city is up? He isn’t a permanent resident in Boston after all. Will she wind up getting too attached and have her heart broken?

This series continues to keep getting better. This time we watched Dart grow and mature as he meets Alex and her son Tyler. I loved the growth that we saw in not only Dart as he realizes that he might need more than sex, but the club grows and matures as they realize it’s time to change their rules. In this book, we see the Satan’s Devils once again come together to protect someone that needs them, this time it’s Alex who has just escaped an abusive relationship. Dart takes on her protection only to find that he has growing feelings for her. Definitely recommend if your looking for a heart warming story with great action and suspense.

I really enjoyed this book, the characters Gage, Juliet and Ten meshed so well together. I was a little disappointed with how the relationship turned out with all three of them, I felt that the way they were written together the relationship would have been solid. Gage and Ten had a beautiful connection in my eyes, Ten and Juliet were not as connected but since they started out with a solid friendship and attraction it was good, and of course Gage and Juliet were off the charts with the chemistry. In the wake of the danger they are trying to overcome, trying to get Juliet and Ten off of Mirkle’s radar, things heat up between all of them. I am happy that Gage is finding what will make him happy and satisfied for the rest of his life, but I kind of wish there was news of Ten in the end. The epilogue had me smiling, epilogues are the best.

This was a fantastic paranormal young adult novel. Paranormal and suspense is my favorite genre and this met both. Abbey who has seen ghosts since she was 7 has found herself suddenly attracting ghost clowns after going to the circus with her parents. Can Abbey along with the help of her friends solve the mystery? This was a story that instantly pulled me in and I found myself having a hard time putting the book down and read it in a couple of days. You felt the fear as the characters encountered the ghosts and the hope that all would be resolved. The ending was sureal but perfect. My only complaint, I wish there was a list of all the 80s song Abbey refers to so I can make my own play list … I guess I’ll just have to read the book again.

This is the perfect story of opposites attract! Regan just graduated highschool and all she wants to focus on is getting out of town and on to a better life. She thought nothing could get in the way of that until he walked in. Jeremy is working hard to take over his father’s company. He thinks of nothing but business until he meets Regan. When their worlds collide, neither knows how to handle their feelings.

Can you say hot and steamy?! The sparks between Regan and Jeremy, and the connection they build is undeniable. I enjoyed every steamy scene between them and could not wait for the next one. There is just enough detail to make it passionate without it being raunchy. Their passion and lust grow each time and it leaves you wanting more.

There are so many raw emotions in this story. I connected with Regan on such a personal level. She and I are from similar backgrounds, so I loved to see her character develop and discover who she is. Regan’s character is so real. Never have I felt so related to a character. I loved cheering her on page after page. This book is on the top of my list!

This is the first book I’ve read by the author. Class Clown sure didn’t cure my fear of clowns but it was funny. The author knows what to do to make readers stick around.

Abbey isn’t the normal everyday girl. She attracts ghosts and now something has followed her home. Who knew clowns could be a pain in the butt? Now she’s got clowns taking over school. The quote I chose for Abbey is: “Have fun. Let me know how many clowns they fit into that little car.”

Highly recommended for YA Paranormal lovers.

What roller coaster rides this author took us on. I loved this book because it was taking sharp curves in the moments, I least expected it. True love and fairytales, is there such? Isn’t that what every girl dreams of? Not Reagan, she is simply ready to get on with her life and is not worried about trying to find true love. Then there is Jeremy, who simply is ready to show his father that he can handle the task at hand and is ready to become the big boss…until he spots Reagan in a small diner! These two cross paths and the firework show begins. Will they find true love, or will life and family expectations get in the way? This is one book that I highly recommend reading. It is a quick read with some unexpected twists that will leave you with your mouth wide open!
