I loved this book so much! It was actually the first book of this series that I read. I will definitely be going back to read the others now! Kindle and Levi were absolutely perfect for each other and I loved both of them so much. I really enjoyed reading the entire book from his point of view because often that does not happen. The book had the perfect amount of comedy and romance and it was just so good.

I really enjoyed this romance story. It was a mixture of romance and adventure with mythology and astrology mixed in to make this a really unique story.

This is the fourth book in the Mafia Elite series, it can be read as a standalone, but I personally would recommend reading these in order. In this book we meet Chicago mafia boss Marco La Rosa, he thought he lost his one true love years ago, but learns from his brother Elena Caruso is still alive and in danger. This was another fantastic character-driven story from this author. This book was full of forbidden romance, action and passion – highly recommended.
This is book one in the Mafia Elite series. This can be read as a standalone. This book is a dual point of view perspective of Liliana and Max. Wow this certainly packs a punch, we follow Liliana who appears to have the perfect life and a loving family from the outside sadly all she wants to do is escape the clutches of her father. As she returns to her Fathers home after graduating college, she is introduced to her new body guard Max, her main concern is breaking free from her fathers clutches and trusting Max. Max is from another branch of the Mafia and is infiltrating the family, he changes his appearance and his name to Matt Trambino. He is on a mission to reunite Liliana with her estranged grandfather Vincenzo. This was the first book I have read by Amy Mckinley and it certainly will not be the last. The character development was unbelievable and totally immersed me within the story. I could not put this down and devoured this in one sitting. This book is full of action, thrills, suspense and hot romance.

I just recently started getting into the Fae realm-type stories. I definitely was drawn in by the cover of the book, but then Chloe’s story quickly wrapped me up into her world. This adventure was definitely action packed, full of tears, and plenty of plot twists. Chloe is easily relatable, but finds herself in situations that might make you question how you yourself would respond.
If you enjoy mystery, romance, female heroines, FAE, or anything that has a good story line then this is the book for you! Promise you won’t regret it.

This was such a good read. Even though it’s the sixth in the series, it can be enjoyed as a stand alone. Trey struggled with his past while pushing Hailey away. Little did he know, she could relate to him. The two of them have a chemistry that neither could deny. Watching their story unfold was both suspenseful and intriguing! I recommend this read!!

Another fantastic character-driven story from Amy Mckinley. Emiliana was a incredibly strong and lively character, she is who I want to be when I grow up! (haha) The love between Stefano and Emiliana melted my heart.

Oliver was playing pirates and fell out of a tree. He could have gotten really hurt, but didn’t. However, his daddy told him to stop playing in the tree because it wasn’t strong enough. This made Oliver mad and started to question where his real parents are, Oliver is adopted. Oliver thinks about all the places that his parents may be, but ultimately decides that it was for the best because they couldn’t take care of him. After cooling off, he makes his way to the kitchen where his parents are baking cookies – he got to lick the batter. He tells his parents that he could have had a completely different life. While that may be true, his parents reassured him that he was very much wanted by them and that made Oliver feel better. I love books on a diverse subject. This would be great for those who were adopted to be able to read about it. While I think the animal chosen for the book is a little weird looking I am sure kids won’t mind.

This is the second book in the Mafia Elite series, it can be read as a standalone, but I personally would recommend reading these in order. This is a dual point of view following Enzo Vitale, heir to the throne of the Chicago Mafia and Sofia La Rosa, an up-and-coming fashion designer. Enzo and Sofia were childhood sweethearts and this story pulled on my heart strings. The book packs an emotional gut-punch of suspense, action, steamy romance, secrets and drama. I would highly recommend this book.
This book was a little different than my normal read and I really enjoyed it. Bree is not looking to date her typical jock type. She branches out and tries new things in an effort to meet new people. First, she meets Nate at the tennis club. He wants to date but she has sworn off his type. So, they become friends. Then her dad introduces her to Steven and they quickly hit it off. As Close to Perfect is a quick and light read.

This is the 4th, and my favourite, book in a fantastic series that I’ve absolutely loved so far. Set in the small town of Parker Lake where you can’t do anything without the whole town knowing your business. But school teacher Karen Posey has a huge secret that she wants no one to ever find out about. So she keeps herself to herself. All is going to plan until her best friend Breckin’s ( the heroine from a previous book in the series) brother Brody comes home to stay. Brody and Karen’s story is only that I was hooked on from the very beginning. Having been introduced to Karen in previous books, I was always intrigued as to her story and was so glad that the author decided to give her a book to tell her awesome story. As the path to true love never runs smoothly, Brody and Karen did not get off to the best start. She thought he was an arrogant jackass and hated him on sight. Although she could admit that he was very easy on the eye. This is a fantastic story that I totally lost myself in and I can see me reading this book again in the future. Definitely recommend.

Brody comes back to Parker nursing his wounds after a workplace incident in NYC. Not sure whether or not he still has a job, he spends the holidays with his family, which has grown to include some familiar quirky characters. Carrying his own emotional baggage, he runs into Karen, aka “Raven”, a teacher friend of his sister’s. She has her own set of emotional baggage. As the family tries to get through the holidays, can these two work through their issues to come together to realize they make a beautiful couple? I found this book brought out all the feels. You can relate to their relationship issues. They have the spark, it builds over time. Even Kelda can’t kill their romance. Speaking of Kelda, who can’t relate to crazy relatives like Kelda and Burt just popping in and talking about bathroom habits, sex life and they are the elderly? I don’t think I’ve laughed so hard as I do when I’m reading about these two. All the wedding talk and romance is just beautiful in the story. The author truly has a figt for making ift feel very real. The people of Parker, Oklahoma could be from your town. The plot was great. It’s a real issue and it was handled well with no choppiness. A wonderful in a series that is one I’ll read over and over. A must for romance lovers everywhere.
This book was a surprise. Made me think out of the box. The author takes you a different kind of ride in this book. Are you open to the possibilities of ghosts? She has you thinking you will lose your mind. The fear palpable in Dwarf and Raven. Dwarf isn’t sure if he is taking on her fear or is actually experiencing it himself. This unlikely pair goes through it all. Can they both survive in the end?

I love finding a new series to read! At first I didn’t realize this was a series that was already more than one book long and as I finished this, I found myself wanting to know when the next one was being released. I was really excited to see there are more books already. I am definitely going to be starting the next one asap! This is the story of a boy in 9th century England who finds himself cursed by a witch and living in 2 worlds. It is a combination of historical fiction, fantasy, and ghost story! As a teacher, I thought of a lot of people that would enjoy this book and plan on recommending it to some of my previous students. It was an easy-to-read, original story that kept me turning the pages for sure!

My first time to read by this author but will be back for more! This book offers romance and longing, mystery, hot scenes, dangerous action, great relationship building and offers us flawed, real humans as characters to get in to.
London is one tough woman who can hold her own, but after a series of tragedies in Denver, hiding out in a cabin to give herself a chance to heal, a very hot week with a stranger who gave a fake name and an intervention of sorts from her family – she’s back in LA. As a highly trained and extremely competitive woman in a “man’s world”, London has learned she has to work harder, smarter, and take more risks to prove she is ahead of the game. As she comes back to join her Uncle Walter and brother in the special FBI unit, she finds she is assisting another, even more exclusive, agency in the business of protection. Red Cage is full of giant, imposing, very well trained men and now London is embedded in their business. As she learns about the job she is supposed to be doing, she finds HIM – the man who saved her from herself an entire year ago, while she was in isolation, and whom she hasn’t stopped dreaming about since.
True is “the nice brother” in Red Cage and works with several of his brothers to run the agency. He loves action in the field and women, but he also never forgot the hot stranger he spent a week with 1 year ago. We find that True has ADHD and it both makes him great at what he does, and struggle with relationships. He has spent so long being chased and pursued by any number of women that he doesn’t know how to have a relationship, or how to care about someone beyond his family – but he can’t get London out of his mind.
London and True get under each others skin, so obsessed with one another that they can’t stop what’s happening between them – no matter how hard they both try. I especially love that this book has flawed humans who then find healthy ways to heal and be strong together. While this is book 3 in the series, it was a nice standalone and I didn’t feel lost. Running off for book 1 in this series now!

Book 2 in the trilogy. Finn and his family are on adventures again. Agne and Cub are at the battle of Wessex. This is a large and hard fight. Many are lost, including family, and many are taken for ransom. Finn and Raga are out with Uncle Karl and the crew to help them. On the way, a troll on the boat traps Finn in between realms to perform a task for him. What an adventure this is. Most of the time the crew do not know what is going on. Kara and the rest of Finn’s family have been left at home and are dealing with blood feuds, being driven from their home and other misadventures. This is another excellent book in the journey of Thorafinn. The plot is adventurous. The excitement is on every page. There are three plotlines going and the author does a great job of intertwining them together so that they do connect. I enjoyed the storyline of the womenfolk That was my favorite because they overcame big odds. The characters are really written well. Martine is a sneaky character that I would love to see more of so I hope she is written in more in Book 3. That cliffhanger grabbed me. I can’t wait to read the next book. I recommend this trilogy to fantasy lovers.

This book is absolutely brilliant. It has such a strong storyline to it and it had me hooked right from the word go. I was pulled into this world and could not stop reading. A large part of that was because of the characters. For me they made this book. Their connection was so intense and captivating. I couldn’t seem to take my eyes off them. This is an incredible story and I would urge every one to read it immediately.

THIS story is ALWAYS on my Mind!! I can’t stop thinking about it when on those rare occasions I am not reading it. It is a simply captivating storyline to me. My favorite thing is the banter and strength of the characters. I can not get enough of True and Lonny in or out of the bedroom. They are electric! I also want to smack them both upside the head more than once for their actions or reactions but they did keep me on my toes!
The characters are spicy and ON FIRE to near combustible when together! I love Lonny (her name included)! She has the best attitude and she is smart, strong, salty and sassy enough to compete with the alpha males! Her once weakness is True. True lives a lifestyle that I am not sure I understand. There might be more info in previous stories but he seems very different. The more I learn the more I love him.
Secondary characters make me more than curious about the other couple books I have missed. They all seem to have interesting lives and situations and how they mix together. I look forward to reading their stories. Tripp and Tillie I really didn’t identify with too much but we will see. Guy..now there is a man of mystery. Then there is the Castillo twins..wow! I was very interested in Lorenzo and Brook and will look for their story.
Overall this is a smart, snappy and simply fascinating story! The growth and work these characters put in makes it a joy to read. The last few chapters plus the epilogue with True are very eye opening. I do not understand how this author is not once I have read before! The way the story is written is exceptionally well. It starts off on fire and really it only gets hotter as the story rolls along.

This was a great story with relatable and lovable characters in it. My love for this book is prompting me to explore the rest of the series and meet the other characters. Levi was a guy on a higher mission. He wanted to lose his party boy ways and find his happily ever after, but was fearful of the rejection. As the story develops Kindle is introduced and our party boy starts to find his way and live his life differently. Kindle and Levi together are quite the pair and the connection and dynamic between them both will make it difficult for you to put this book down.

I am new to the Mermaid Science Series by Lois Wickstrom. I read this book with my little girl, who is obsessed with all things mermaid! The storyline is sweet and endearing and I love how the author mixes fiction and science so perfectly. Maia and Fig are sweet little friends who inspired us to plan our own picnic. If only we could meet a mermaid on our adventures!!!
My daughter and I really enjoyed this book. I was a great bed time read and we plan to read the other books in the series soon.

First thing first, I did not read the previous books in this series. That being said, this book can be read as a stand alone. You do not need to read the previous books in order to understand what is going on in this book. However, after reading this book you will want to go back and read the other two in the series. That is what I am currently doing. Now, let’s get into the meat and potatoes of this book. It is a really fast read!!! You will fall in love with the characters because of how the author us able to put feelings and actions to words written. I am a strong believer that, “If a book can make you feel what the characters are, it was written amazingly.” This book did not disappoint on that level. This book not only has all the steam you could ever possibly want but it also has mystery. You not only get to experience the quick whit of the female lead but you also get to see the strength of the male lead. Together they are an unstoppable team. You will keep turning the pages to see what is going to happen next or to even just feel the chemistry the two main characters have. It is definitely a book that will make you not quit reading until it is done. So, if you have a day where you can sit on the beach or next to the pool or even just on the couch and read, I highly recommend this book.

This is the second book I’ve read from this author, but she has blown my mind yet again. This is the fifth book in the Moto X series. This can be read as a standalone but there are previous characters in this story as well. I recommend reading the first four books before reading this one so you can get a better understanding with everything. I was so excited when I got this book, I stopped everything, and I started to read this book immediately. I was hooked on these characters right from the beginning. It only took me a day to read this awesome book. I highly recommend this book for any and everyone who is interested in reading. You will not be disappointed. Levi Crowe us known as the party boy. He has everything that he could ever need at his disposal and a body and skill that all women drool over. He has the time of his life every weekend and legendary black outs that are a good source of laughter for everyone but him. But the truth is, he is worn out. Nothing changes until he’s rejected several times by the same woman that he can’t get out of his head. A series of events leads him to getting his life on a better track and here enters Kindle James, his rejector. Now, he must prove himself to more than just her because both of their careers are at stake. Kindle may just prove how much of a squid he truly is at being a functioning adult. Another great Satan’s Devils read! I really loved this one. I loved bizarre and life threatening circumstances bring two people together from totally different worlds. I loved the familiar betrayal and pain shared by absolute strangers. Most of all, I loved the second chance at finding romance! Like every other book in this series, within these pages you will find rough bikers, soft hearts, tenacious loyalty, found family, unexpected romance, and non stop action. Unlike every other book in this series, you will find older MCs, deep seeded betrayal, and a new prospect from a highly unlikely introduction! This author has once again managed to spin a story that is both comforting in its familiarity as well as new and exciting. It is awesome to be reading the Satan’s Devils next generation and seeing a whole new group of MCs at the frontline, some familiar but in diapers in the other books, and still have your old favorite MCs in the background. At this point, its truly reading about family. There are references made here from other books in the series. If you have not read a Satan’s Devils MC book before this, you will most certainly be able to follow the story, but will be missing references and little Easter eggs throughout that you would have had to read the other books to pick up on. My suggestion to get the most out of the stories it to start at the beginning with Turning Wheels. Cannot wait to keep going in this amazing MC world!

I loved being able to dive back into this series. It feels like such a long time and yet it also felt like I picked up right where I left off. This book is yet another fantastic addition to and already amazing series. I was pulled right back into this author writing style and could not out the book down. I knew I had to give myself the time as it would be a one sitting read. I loved everything about this book and it has spurred me to reread the whole series.

This is the fourth book in the Moto X series, and this is the first book that I have read from the author. This is a really good book and i was not disappointed. This can be read as a standalone, but I recommend reading the first 3 books before you start on this one. Jax Hunt is tired of only being seen for his disability, he is ready for a change in his life. He has a career that he may have not had dreamed of but loves no matter what. He has stubborn friends who’d do anything for him, and a family who attempt to understand his situation. Lennox Austin strides into his life with her unique eye color and entertaining personality. He is consumed by her just as much as he is to prove himself to the world, but an overprotective brother sits in his way. Will Jax and Lennox make it out in the end? Is Jax ready to Bottom out? I highly recommend this book for any and everyone.

What a fun romantic adventure this book is! Kasper and Maris remind me of an adult Little Mermaid (not quite so wholesome). Kasper is trying to find a way that will heal his brother’s cancer and comes across Maris, a mermaid. The two of them continue the search for the healing jug with a few misadventures. Maris’ friends try to help her but end up messing up and causing their own ruckus. This book is laugh out loud funny! My family wanted to know what I was I was giggling at. The chemistry between Kasper and Maris was so well-done. It felt so natural. Her flirting with Owen and making Kasper jealous was awesome. The sibling rivalry fun was a nice touch. Pasha and Ryn’s betrayal of Maris and further misadventures seemed just right. I didn’t see that plot twist coming. Perfect! It fit in so smooth. I would have loved to see more of Pasha’s mom’s backstory. It was so intriguing that I had to keep going and couldn’t put it down. I had to know what was coming next. An engaging read that will have you waiting eagerly for the next book in the series. A quick and entertaining read that I recommend for romance lovers.

This is a very well-written book about adoption and the feelings that kids may have. Not only does it cover how an adopted child may feel but it also talks about how children may feel when they are mad at their parents and might wish they want a different life. I appreciate how the author approached the topic and made it a fun story that is entertaining yet covers real and important topics. This is a story that I will be sharing with my grandson. We have custody of him and it will help us explain some of how he feels is normal. Big feelings are okay. Great book that I recommend.

Flame and Crystal Thorns begins a new series by Kay L. Moody. It is the story of Chloe who appears to have been a minor character from an earlier series. I am not certain as I’ve never read another book by this author. The book can, however, be read, understood, and enjoyed as a stand-alone read – though it did have a slow feeling start without prior knowledge of the characters and mystical world Ms. Moody has created.
Ms. Moody did a lovely job of explaining character motivation and interactions found in her previous work. Her writing is flowing and filled with descriptive language to help the reader immerse in the story. I found the story enchanting with a creative use of magic and its magical boundaries. The main character, Chloe, feels real as she struggles through doubt and fear. In a refreshing twist, we follow a reluctant hero with abilities but also heart and crippling fears. The intwined love story gave the book an intriguing companion for Chloe and added some interesting twists. All in all, I think I will need to get my hands on more works by Ms. Moody soon!

Chloe has made a life for herself back in the mortal world as the town’s apothecary. As a human, she’s content living this way and is adamant that she will never go back to Faerie, but sometimes things change.
When a fae shows up begging for her help in saving Faerie, she repeatedly says no until it’s apparent she cannot keep refusing. Her sister is in danger and she must go help fight the angry humans poisoning Faerie with iron.
She packs a bag to make the trip, but when making their way into Faerie things take a turn when the humans are stronger than anticipated. Now armed with a new magic, Chloe has to save all of Faerie before it’s too late.
Flame and Crystal Thorns was a fun, suspenseful read with wonderful world building. If you’re a fan of Sarah J. Maas you will absolutely love this story! It pulls you in from the first page and doesn’t willingly let you go until you’re craving more.
I adored Chloe and Quintus, and I’m excited to check out book 2 in this series. I’m 100% hooked and ready for more time in Faerie with this crew!
