Sweet story about love and family. This story reminds readers of all ages about the importance of relationships and unconditional love. The book opens up the conversation about emotions, problem-solving and self-regulation.

Being the step daughter of a famous musician isn’t always an easy thing. This is true for El;who is determined to make her own way in the music industry. She does not want to use her last name or parent’s name just to get doors to open which is even more difficult when you have extremely overprotect parents.
Wil is in LA to participate in a film competition which really could provide him with a once in a lifetime opportunity.
When the two meet there are sparks and a chemistry that can’t be denied. Will the two act on them? Will each reach their goals? Will they be completely honest with each other? Will they trust in each other?
This story is well written. The story line is easy to follow, has great imagery, and wonderfully written characters. While I am not usually a cliffhanger type, now that I have read the book, I am invested and can not wait to see what comes next.

I really enjoyed this book. This book was well written and had a good story mainly meant for children but is a good reminder for young adults and adults as well. Moby did not enjoy school and did not have the determination to better herself. Her father is in the marines and left her a gift for her birthday. Moby could not understand why the gift did not work. After some time she used effort and determination to figure out how to get it to work and after some time succeeded. This book has a great lesson built into it and shows you that no matter what if you are determined to do something and don’t give up you can succeed! I really enjoyed this and would highly recommend this to my other Early Childhood Educator friends to read to their class.

An enjoyable and engaging contemporary western romance which kept me happily turning the pages. Tori, the daughter of a legendary saddle bronc rider, Justin Foster, has big dreams. Dreams which until now she’s kept to herself, but she’s ready to show what she’s capable of. Cord King is at the top of his game in his rookie season as a saddle bronc rider, and has a lot of both media and female attention. Tori and Cord meet in Elk Field during the annual rodeo, but Tori is unimpressed by Cord, and isn’t going to let him get in the way of reaching her goals. Cord, is used to impressing the women around him, but not Tori, a feisty cowgirl who isn’t afraid to talk back to him. Once Tori takes to the arena all eyes are on her, fuelling Cord’s jealousy, which if he doesn’t overcome might stop him from seeing how much talent she actually has. Tori has to stay focused and not let Cord be a distraction, as they compete both in and outside of the arena. They both want to win the coveted championship buckle, but will their competitiveness stop any potential relationship from developing. I felt immersed in the world of rodeo’s, saddle bronc riding, and cowboys and cowgirls due to the wonderfully descriptive narrative. The main characters were likeable and relatable and I was cheering them on hoping they would get their HEA, and the buckle!

This is the first book I’ve read by the author. River Witch had me hooked from the beginning and I didn’t want it to end. The characters were life-like and it really felt like I was standing in the same place as them.
Aaron has let one person down. He doesn’t want to do that to Hester. Then when he goes home he finds that he’s to blame. The quote I chose for Aaron is: “Your faith in me was wrong. I failed her, I wasn’t good enough, strong enough. When it came to the time… When the time came…when I should have followed her…I couldn’t… If there’d been two of us…if there’d been twice the power…”
Hester loves to listen to the river. She talks to the river and the goddess that resides there. Sabrina. That’s what they call the river. The quote I chose for Hester is: ‘If she wouldn’t come to me when I was birthing Ellen, when I truly needed her… The hurt runs deep and I’m sorry for it. I simply couldn’t do it, not for all the houses and feather mattresses in the world, I couldn’t marry that man.”
Revenge….it is all Sofi wants when she learns family secrets that involve the death of her uncle. How to infiltrate that revenge……..get inside the motorcycle club that was involved… The Wolves. Sofi weaves her way into the club, becoming one with them…..but soon finds love and the love comes from acting VP…. Buzz. Will Sofi get caught up in the club and forget or will she end up betraying the trust of her new found family.
This book definitely has its dark moments and triggers…….wow …. raw, rough and shocking…this author really knows how to tell a story……this is a quick read and hard to put down…highly recommended!
This book is one of those that took me by surprise. I was sure that I would enjoy it but I didn’t expect to be drawn into the story the way I was. As I listened to the story being narrated I could so easily imagine everything that was happening. I was really interested in the main character as well. She was so strong and really seemed to carry the story.
I definitely became more invested in this story than I expected and I through it was a great book. I am looking forward to more work from this author.

As soon as I saw another book by this author I knew I had to start it straight away as all her books are so good. And this series is clearly going to be no exception. I was pulled into this book so easily. The story, the characters, it really does have it all. The book is full of suspense. I didn’t know which way it would go at any point, but I couldn’t wait to find out. I had too see how everything would turn out. I loved the characters too. Their connection as intense and so real. I was drawn into them and it was like I couldn’t look away. Even after the book had finished I wanted to know more about them. If the rest of the series is as good as this book then I think we will be in for a serious ride, and I can’t wait to see what else is in store.

This is such a cute coloring book. I love how it could be for adults or children and you don’t have to use it just at Halloween. It’s definitely worth it. It would be great as a gift.
Dainty Damsels by J.N. Sheats. This is the perfect coloring book for little girls and women alike. I absolutely loved it. It was so pretty and the pictures almost come to life once they are colored. If you are in the market for a coloring book for a gift or just a relaxation day this one is awesome. I will be picking up more for gifts and maybe even one more for myself!
Halloween is one of my absolute favorite holidays and I spend a lot of my downtime coloring. This is the perfect mash-up for me! I love all of the fun pages and the illustrations are well drawn. My kids had a great time coloring with me so this made a great family affair. I highly recommend picking this up and embrace the cute characters of Halloween!
I enjoyed this read. It was a page turner and easy read. This was a quick read. The mystery behind this story I didn’t guess. The characters were fun and loveable.
The Divine Devils….the kind of guys you definitely want on your side because they are not what you’d expect them to be!! I really wasn’t sure what I was getting into when I picked up this book to read but I sure had a hard time putting it down once I got started!! Action packed from the get-go, Hunter is trying his best to clear his name in a previous incident when the Divine Devils are called back together for a new case. This one involves a very wealthy actress trying to get the extortionists off her back and her out of the lime-lime for nefarious reasons. I’m going to have to go back and read the first book of this series just to “catch up” with more of the back stories of these characters and because if the first book is as good as this one, well, I just need to read it.

In this follow up to Complicit (which, in full disclosure, I have not yet read), Kate and Tilly are even more determined to do right for their communities. Tilly has found a new position as a SANE nurse and she and Jim have found a new place to live. Kate is working on a her fortress to house girls who are needing a place to escape the evilness they are being lured into.
This book is very fast paced, edge-of-your-seat kinda read. Just what I enjoy!! There are questions yet to be answered and I can’t wait to read more of this story! I look forward to finding out answers to some of these burning questions in my mind and I will also be reading the first book to get more context for this one. I don’t feel that it’s necessary to grasp this story….this is a great stand-alone if needed. I’m just curious as to how some things came together.
Is your stumble and fall going to lead you to great places???

This book started off strong for me. I was so excited to read a book involving music and rocker lifestyles with a daughter trying to find her way out from under her parent’s thumbs. I love a good story about a woman finding her own way and making her own path. And how could I not want to read about a romance of a man coming to her rescue when she needs help and he’s from out of the country?? Yes, please! I was really into El’s hidden identity part I thought that was so fun. Her parents were honestly a little much, and I can see why she would have to hide what she is really doing from them. Things went downhill for me when the ties between El and Wil were made clear. STRONG family ties were just sickening to me to see how they are connected. Maybe it is because I come from a very blended family with both half and adoptive relatives that this just rubbed me the wrong way. This story could have been so great without the aspect of why Wil is really in the country or the weird way it ties to El. I don’t want to spoil it and I can’t say why I hated this without saying what IT was but just no. That ruined the whole book for me. Got 2 stars because it would have been a good story without the weird connection and drama.

I enjoyed the pictures in this book. This is a coloring book that has 30 great interactive pages to fill your time. I enjoyed coloring them and how fun they were to pick through. I look forward to picking up another one of these color books. I highly recommend this coloring book.
This is such a fun activity book! I would recommend it for any age, as the pictures aren’t spooky even though they are Halloween related. Get out your crayons, colored pencils, gel pens, sharpie markers, even some paint and just have fun with this! The pictures are great sizes for all the mediums mentioned above. Make it a girls night and color before watching your favorite Halloween movie! 🙂

Salvatore knows he needs to take over as the Mafia Don, the latest threat to his family put everything in motion. With a Doctor on hand Salvatore is aware that Adrianna, is not a fan of him or his family. Something about the sexy Doctor with attitude to match pulls at him. He takes his shot with Adrianna, it is inevitable to not act on the chemistry but is Adriana everything she appears to be?
There is a lot to unfold about this story and definitely had me guessing what would happen. Fast paced read full of sizzling chemistry, action and intrigue. Salvatore is a complicated man whose personality radiates of the pages. Great match with Adriana. Really good book, highly entertaining.

A Love Restrained (Philly Heat Series #1) by Becky Flade
This is the first book I’ve read by the author. This book is amazing and I will be looking forward to the next book. A Love Restrained is the first book in the Philly Heat Series.
Kylee is a cop and when she sees a drug deal go down she chases the dealer. Then she realizes that she knows him. The one who broke her heart in high school. Now she’s got to figure out if she can handle what he does. The quote I chose for Kylee is: “No. I don’t. I felt small when you shut me out of your life today. It hurt me to think you were ashamed of me, of us. What we have, and I don’t know what it is or where it’s going, but it felt less. I felt less. I’ve been doing the same thing to you. I know that now. I’m sorry for it.”
Jayson comes from a bad childhood. When he runs into Kylee Parker. Officer Parker. He wants her, but doesn’t know if he should get involved with her. She’s a cop. He’s not a good guy. The quote I chose for Jayson is: “No! I’m ashamed of them. I spent yesterday with your family, and they’re perfect. So what do I do for a f***ing encore? I bring you here to see mine? To this— freak show? I don’t want their ugliness anywhere near you. Near us. I don’t want you to see what I come from.”

This is a cute coloring book that would geared towards older teens and adults. The artwork is fun and good fir Halloween. Pictures are detailed enough to have good artwork but not so much it isn’t easy to add your own details. Fun activity.
This is such a super cute little coloring book! The art style is super cute and it’s even got the Sanderson sisters! I know I will enjoy coloring this Halloween damsel themed book!
As a huge fan of both coloring books and Halloween I had to pick this book up. It is a terrific book for coloring Halloween pictures. There is not a picture I do not love. It is easy enough for both kids and adults alike. I could see these being used in classrooms for kids to color at Halloween time. Great coloring book that I have been enjoying coloring all the pictures to put up around the house for decorating.
This is a beautiful collection of pictures for children (and adults) of all ages to enjoy and have fun colouring it. My little boy and niece loved them and it was a great way to spend a creative afternoon while getting them excited about Halloween. It was nice to have pictures that were cute and not as scary as most Halloween things as when my son was younger he found it all scary where as this book brings the spirit of Halloween, the dressing up and having fun without the over the top scary side.
I really loved it and will definately be showing it to my sons school for Halloween activity ideas.
This is book 1 in the Scilian God’s series. This is a dark Mafia Romance and I loved it. As you would imagine with a Mafia Romance there is a lot of danger and intrigue, there is also a lot of passion and fierce protectiveness of the family and the women they love. The connection between Salvatore and Adrianna is definately hot and electric. At first it’s not so much love as a hate relationship Salvatore is a strong and powerful don. His main focus in on family business and protecting his Mafia family from harm. He seems cold and ruthless with no time for love and at times it seem like he has no capacity for love. That is until he meets Adrianna. Adrianna is the doctor hired to take care of the patients at the hotel. Her job is to take care of the family without asking questions. She is a strong willed independent woman who doesn’t take kindly to a man telling her what to do or how she does it. However the spark and connection she feels with Salvatore is too strong to ignore or turn away from. However she has secrets and these secrets could threaten their romance and even cost her, her life?
What will happen if Salvatore let’s Adrianna in? Will he lose his focus and risk his family? What will happen when Adrianna’s secret is revealed? And how do you deny and connection and spark that is as powerful as the one between them?
I loved this story and I can’t wait to read more in this series .

This is a wonderfully heartwarming romantic suspense novel, with a forbidden romance element and a bit of a mystery added to the storyline, making this is an enjoyable and engaging read. Set in a small town, Moon Harbor, Raf is known as the quiet and reliable friend who doesn’t cause trouble, but Raf believes he’s cursed. He refuses to get close to people because they tend to get hurt when he does. Raf definitely does not want to hurt his best friends sister, Ellie, who has been treated as delicate by everyone following the death of her parents, but Ellie wants to live her own life. Ellie has secretly loved Raf, her brothers friend for years but he just sees her as his best friends kid sister, or so she thinks. However, neither of them can deny their sizzling chemistry, but just as their friendship develops Raf’s tragic secret past comes back to haunt him, and threatens everything as their town is put at risk. More worryingly Ellie is in danger, the couple need to save each other and hope their love survives. Raf and Ellie are likeable and relatable characters who I felt instantly engaged with, and the descriptive narrative really brought the setting of Moon Harbor to life. I look forward to reading the previous books in the series, having enjoyed this one.

This is such a great series! The author did a fantastic job of making the characters seem so real. There is a little bit of everything in this series, so that alone makes it a must read for anyone. With everything that has happened, they are trying to look to the future and create a new normal. It has been six years since Caim has ended. Children are being attacked and they must now come together to save their family. Now is the time to end this once and for all.

Totally loved this book! I have already been searching out the next one in the series.
I have always had a fascination with witchcraft and magic so this book completely appealed to me. Even though it was YA I really enjoyed it; even at my age…
This is the first book in the series and was incredibly well written. It set the stage for the next book however was a complete story in it’s own right.

This was a great fantasy book with lots of twists and turns. Many moments where my stomach was in knots and my palms sweaty! I thought the book flowed well and was easy to get in to! The author has a unique way of painting a picture that transports you right as if you’re there. It was a great book and I enjoyed losing myself in it for a while!
