This BOOK! I am going to add it to my favorite novels. Such a great story, and beautifully written characters, a lovely fairy tale type story. Young Hester has always been interested in healing and helping others with herbs and very drawn to the river, who’s name is Sabrina. Hester meets Aaron, a stranger who is in tune with his herbal practices, as they begin lessons in a cottage by the river, Hester finds more than knowledge. The river, Sabrina, guides and leads Hester through her life and some of the most dramatic occurrences, including being labeled a witch and being heartbroken, can Hester survive the persecution and isolation?
