Soliloquy by Janet Fogg is a story about how the power of love can even transcend time. This is the first book that I have read by Ms. Fogg, so I really wasn’t sure of what to expect from one of her stories. But the premise intrigued me enough to grab a copy and join the adventure.
Concert pianist, Erin, finds herself thrust back in time to WWII Nazi occupied France where she is caught up in plenty of action- helping the resistance, as well as a downed British pilot who just happens to have ties to Erin’s own time. With agendas, danger, time running out, high stakes, history, romance, twists, and lots of dramatic developments, this story proved to be a bit of a page-turner.
Looking forward to reading more of Ms. Fogg’s books.

Wednesday Family is a witch, and is in love with her best friend, Ryker. Ryker just happens to be a panda shifter, which for anyone else might not be a big deal, but he’s got a mate out there and Wednesday knows she needs to let him go. And soon.

Oh. My. Goddess. This was such a heartwarming and sweet story of these two. I’m usually pretty skeptical when it comes to books about shifters but I’m so glad I took a chance on Wednesday and Ryker because I can see this being a book I could read again and again.

There’s a hint of steamy here and there, but it doesn’t equal the entire story. The characters are great and I am 100% going to need a book about Gomez and the new friend even if they aren’t the same book! I’m looking forward to reading more from this author because Paris in Springtime clearly knows it’s romance.

This was a great 5 star read. It was a quick read that pulled me right in.
Kendall is a reporter and when she gets an opportunity to do a different story she jumps on it. She ends up meeting Chad at an underground MMA event. Kendall wants to interview Chad but he refuses. You can definitely pick up on the sparks flying between them. Can Kendall convince him to help with her story? Will they get a HEA?

Overall I really enjoyed this couple. My emotions were all over the place. The author does a great job with her writing. If you’re looking for a good quick read, 1-click and get started today. I look forward to reading more from this author.

I am loving this series and I’m so glad that Trudy gets her own story! I’ve been following her through this series and she’s one of my favorite characters.

Trudy is the medical examiner and some bones are located the likes that she’s never seen. It’s up to her to find out who this is and to help identify who did this to them. Her services are invaluable to the police department but can her kind spirit endure the emotional toil that it’s taking on her?

Ms. Flade does it again with another great novel full of mystery, suspense, and romance. I found myself on the edge of my seat as I read this thrilling, fast-paced novel. I’ll be looking forward to more great reads by this author!

Okay, I cannot get enough of Wednesday’s name. First of all. Secondly, who could resist the cutest little love story with paranormal/supernatural aspects, best friend and soul mate vibes galore. Right away, you get the impression that this is going to have a happy ending, despite some of the main character’s best efforts to ensure that they break it off. I also didn’t realize it was not the first installment in this series, and will be sure to go back and read more of this authors work.

I’m always looking for something with a touch of something different, and this author definitely added some spice and suspense into the mix. I did feel as though there was a lot of reiteration of the characters feelings, though I’m sure it was just to hit the point home, it just seemed like it dragged out the story line a little. This, however, is what my love dreams are made of, and eventually will find the best friend in life that just wants me to have it all, and just be me. Overall, a great little read, brought forward this reader’s giggles, gasps, and goosebumps.

As a detective, she’s dedicated to her job, sometimes too much. As a friend and lover, she’s not as dedicated and uses people, although it’s not always purposeful.

Xavier Knight is the new detective assigned as Lexi’s partner. He’s not without some skeletons in his closet either, although he keeps that door pretty closed. What he’s not happy about is that he’s been hired to keep an eye on Lexi. She’s a loose cannon and could become a liability to the division. Xavier isn’t sure he can defy the trust of his partner.

There is a child killer on the loose and Lexi is pretty sure she knows who’s committing these crimes. How can she solve these murders when her shield is in question?

I love this author and this is only the second book I’ve read of hers. This story is gritty and covers some very difficult themes that are unfortunately happening far too often in our country. I look forward to reading more of Ms. Flade’s work!

It is biblical fiction and revolves around a Jewish boy turning 13 and the importance and customs that go along with that. He ends up witnessing the ripping of the veil. It is interesting to imagine the people who actually witnessed these events, and this book helps tell that story.

Just Wow. This is the 3rd installment in the Freemason series. I am always captivated when it comes to a good military story, even when it may not be the main plot. I absolutely love Jude and Sienna’s story. The attraction they have for one another is strong. When Sienna reveals when they truly first met, Jude is taken aback. He realizes that they have more in common than he originally thought. The way their story unfolds is just amazing. I love that the author shows us how strong Sienna is all while showing her vulnerability as well. Jude is not just a protector but the things that are revealed even has me swooning about how much of a good man he is.  I am looking forward to the next installment as I feel in each book you are given a glimpse as to what’s to come.

This is the third book in this wonderful series, and I cannot get enough! The way that these books are written had me on the edge of my seat and I had to know what was going to happen! I was wishing I had an off day so I could spend the day curled up finishing this series. This book centered around Jude, who has been on the hunt for his sister who was taken years ago by this bad organization of people and Sienna who has military experience and helps run the home for saved children. When she suggests that she go undercover to find his sister Jude is at a loss. This book had me in the feels and biting my teeth. You need to read this book because it was just IMMACULATE!!

The Intruders is a supernatural thriller – not a genre I usually pick up. With that said, it is action packed and suspenseful. Dex, the main character, is a car salesman. While at work, he notices someone strange hanging around. This leads to him and his family getting abducted. His abductors know everything about Dex’s life. Dr. H wants more information from Dex. He has to find a way to save himself and his family. They must escape and stay away from danger.
If you like the supernatural, and you like thrillers – you will enjoy this book!

In book two, West Side Story is the story – and guess what – another murder to solve. The Little Shop of Horrors brings back Rudy from book 1 – the mystery is one of catfishing.
These are lighthearted, fun reads. A go to if you are looking for something entertaining and fun!

I love this story! I truly wanted to keep reading long after the book was over!
Kendall is a reporter and her whole career is going down the tubes. Her father offers her the opportunity of a different type of story than she is used to. This story is definitely going to have her stretch her reporting skills. Her father has a lead on an underground MMA ring that isn’t illegal but also isn’t well known. What Kendall finds there is a man that is going to challenge her beliefs. Chad can tell that the sparks are flying with Kendall but its going to take a lot of effort to convince her that they are both feeling things that are real and worth more than one night.
I truly feel that this is a great romance read. It was hard to put down and I definitely recommend it!

This fast, short read will have you grabbing the granny handle to hang on for the ride. This story is about second chances, freedom and love. It is an insta-love dream come true.

Pippa received news that her ex had just been sentenced to three years for assaulting someone in a bar. She decided to be brave and go to a masked costume party with her friend. Pippa felt his presence when he entered the room. She carefully found her way over to where he was talking to hear his voice and was entranced. Pippa decided to be brave and ask him for a dance, hoping it would lead to more.

Tanner “Diesel” Taylor went to the costume party to help get over his on again-off again relationship. He is done with it. When the woodland fairy asked him to dance, Diesel was thrilled. This green-eyed beauty seemed to know what she wanted and tonight, she wanted him. When they parted after their night together, Diesel was quickly deployed and busy with his unit for the next 2 years.

This is a fun filled YA fantasy story that I found myself being pulled in by straight away. I loved that the book was set in New Orleans. It felt like the author must have really captured what it is like and I found I could image the scenes with ease.
I really enjoyed the mix of characters in the book. With everything going on within the City I liked how they each added something to the overall story while Miranda still shone as the heroine. This author really knows how to bring a diverse range to her work and this is another success to add to the list.

When I started reading this book I didn’t realise it was the second in the series. However, although I can see where the benefit would be in reading this series in order this book definitely stands up on its own. This is a much more emotional and in depth story than I was expecting. It covers some very intense and heart breaking topics but the author handles these effortlessly.
I was pulled into this book and the characters. They had such gripping storylines and I could see the development throughout the book. The first thing I will be doing is to go back and read the first book in this series.

Let me just say that the villain is super bad, not in a good way. He got off way too easy but got what he deserved. This book is a fantastic ride from beginning to end. Totally worth the read!

Wow I was completely captivated by this sports romance story. The characters were so likeable and I loved that even though there was uncertainty and secrets they weren’t anything to destroy the relationship. More like things and misunderstanding that were easy to work out. The connection and attraction between our couple was instant and amazing to see and feel.

Kendall is the sports reporter for a local newspaper. She doesn’t know how she got the job but she doesn’t want to lose it. When her job becomes at risk unless she finds a story her dad and ex boxer helps her out.
He introduces her to Chad the new local up and coming fighter. After seeing him in action she is impressed and can see his talent but there is more to him that meets the eye.

Chad is holding secrets which he doesn’t want revealed and so when he is approached by Kendall to do an interview he declines.
It’s then we start to really see the feelings and emotion between the pair and as the secrets unravel and misunderstandings are made can they keep going and give their relationship a fighting chance?

This set combines 2 of my favorite things, musicals and murder mysteries.
I can’t pick a favorite of the 3 included in this set as each has its own draw to it to make them each unique and fun to read.
This author just has a way with her words to draw you in and immerse you into the story like you are there with all the characters, seeing and hearing everything they are. I found myself singing along with all the clues Ruby finds which was fun and different.

I really enjoyed this book, it was a fun mix of magic entering the real world and how it could affect different people. I have read several books by this author and this one is definitely one of my favorites. The characters were well developed, the plot was original and fun, and overall the story flowed perfectly. There is a second part to this story so don’t expect everything to be wrapped up in a little bow. Personally I can’t wait to read the next part.

The adventure begins when Arick is brought in to help tell her more about it. I really can’t tell you a whole lot because you have to read this incredible journey. I can tell you that she wakes in Nazi-occupied France. The characters are so well-written. You can almost feel like you are there in the story, that’s how relatable these characters are. Well done! The plot is easy to follow and flows fairly smooth, even with a few choppy sections in there. This is truly a fascinating story that revolves around her aunt, that she is named for, and a piece of music that creates a hauntingly beautiful memory. The ending was breathtaking. This is one of the best time-travel pieces I’ve read this year. An amazing story that fans of history, music, and/or romance should read. I’d give it more than 5 stars if I could.

A man’s choice years ago will ripple through the years and has embedded into the soul of Rex, when something happens with his son’s his past in the Air Force comes rushing back with a visitor, he was not expecting to confront him.

Can Rex try and help his son’s and right a wrong from the past, you will need to delve into this wonderful book.

This is the first book I have read from this author and to be honest I was not sure what to expect, this is not normally a book I would gravitate to, but I was recommended to take a chance on it, and I was not disappointed. The story is quite a heavy subject matter but the way the author weaves you through the past to the future is refreshing and quite easy to read. I love a good, flawed character and Rex is one who has tried to recover from his past but as hard he works, he never seems to catch a break. The story has an added depth with the mystery of his sons and the accident of the fisherman which just brings more memories to the front for Rex.

Overall, the story is well written, with the twists and turns and anticipation will have you glued to the book until the last page. The story is full of angst and what if’s which ends up making me think about decisions in life and how they affect people in my life. I recommend this book and can’t wait to read more by this wonderfully discovered author.

Queen’s Destiny was the 1st book I’ve read from this author. She did an awesome job.
I love supernatural stories. I love supernatural love stories even more. Queen’s Destiny was a great read. It’s a long story with a lot of back and forth between many different time periods. You’ve really gotta pay attention or you could get lost but it’s definitely worth reading. I am definitely looking forward to the next book in the series.

Self-discovery, growing up and magic
This is the first part of The Emergence Duology and lays a foundation for our MC., Miranda. I really liked the story and was swept away with Miranda’s journey of self-discovery, friendships and life challenges. I am really keen to explore the magical side as now I feel relationships are set up and the stage is set for more to come. I enjoyed the flow of the story and the way the author interspersed the humour to balance some of the heavier aspects of the story. Looking forward to second part in book 2.

Janet Fogg’s focus on writing began while CFO for OZ Architecture, the coolest architectural firm in Colorado. Nine writing awards later she resigned from OZ to follow the yellow brick road, and ten months after that sold her first novel, Soliloquy, a HOLT Medallion Award of Merit winner.
