This is the second book in this series which I enjoyed just as much as the first if not more. This is a well written story where the author used details to make the story realistic. A story that is fast paced, engaging and hard to put down. A story with mystery and where the past may have a link to current events. I enjoyed how the characters pulled me into the story from the start. I found them to have great growth throughout the story. You don’t want to miss what happens in this story. This is an entertaining and easy story to read. I enjoyed this book and I highly recommend it

I enjoyed reading this romance story. This is an author that I never hesitate to pick up. I have enjoyed reading her books from the first one I picked up. One of the things I enjoy most about this author is her writing skills and her ability to pull me into her stories. This book is no different. This is a well written story about giving love another chance. The characters are written with a lot of heart and soul. They have great chemistry and growth throughout the story which made the story easy to read. I found them to be relatable and had no problems picturing myself in their world. This is a fast paced, engaging story that is hard to put down. I highly recommend this book and this author.

If you have plans or anything needing done before reading this book, CANCEL THEM!! This was a HUGE page turner for me, I could NOT set this one aside for anything LOL I got swept away into the wonderfully written small town romance between soul mates. This author has quickly become a quick staple in our household. Each and every book we read by her is just as good as the last and we all get so much enjoyment out of them. I have to say this book probably wasn’t my favourite out of the ones we read, but both of my children seemed to love it. They found it entertaining right from the start and actually sat at read it all with me. This author really has a knack for writing great children’s stories and I know we are always in for a good one when we pick one of hers. I am looking forward to starting the next one.
This is such a sweet and fun story with an adorable character right at its core. I read this book with my daughter and I could see how much she engaged with the main character. Her inquisitive nature and how much she loved to explore really appealed to my daughter and her own nature. I think I really connected with this character too as she is so close in age to my daughter. I found myself comparing them as we read through the book – which we did more that once! The whole story was fun and entertaining. This was a great read and I am already looking forward to when we read it again.

This is Mary and Brad’s story- we met these characters previously in Book One. They have been friends since they were children with many secret feelings which were never told. Hearts were broken and it seemed as though things were lost forever. Life has a way of changing and they are reunited through fate. Old feelings are stirred up yet again but will the past hinder a future relationship? A fantastic read.

I really enjoyed this historical romance with a touch of mystery. It made it a unique read. What I love about this author writing is that is is written in the time period the story is set which makes it really realistic and also helps the reader to relate to the time period and the things that happen. I love Laurel’s character and her development through the story starting as a young girl and growing into a lady that isn’t afraid to protect her home and the people she loves.
Robert needs to leave and head to the war in Spain but he is determined to capture Laurel before he goes. Now they are married and Laurel is thrown into a life she is not prepared for. Not only does she need to learn how to run a big estate, but with a constant battle with her sister in law and mysterious happenings in the home she has a lot to deal with. Upon Roberts return things should have improved but is Robert the same man he was when he left? What will he think when Laurel explains all she had experienced and witnessed in his absence? And when it comes down to it will he take his wife’s side or his sisters?

This is a super fun fast paced book staring Tenley and Teagan. With opposing perspectives on love, this week-long couple’s retreat in Hawaii was the perfect setting for theses two and their challenge. This is a well-written story about people with very different views, coming together through fate! I highly recommend for a good fun read!

This book has a unique twist on Greek Mythology and lovable characters which combined is just magic. It’s been a long time since there was a book which I honestly couldn’t put down, reading well into the early hours to finish. I was initially interested by the criminal investigation and inter-agency elements but was captured by the supernatural.
I loved both main characters, Will and Raine, and enjoyed experiencing their investigative journey and their relationship progression. But even how they evolved as individuals was portrayed very well and I was emotionally invested from the start.
There were time reading that I was unable to contain my joy, grinning like an idiot and others that I wanted to slap them both on the back of the head Agent Gibbs style in loving frustration.
I can’t wait for the rest of the series to be released and get immersed all over again. This quickly became one of my favourites and I’m so happy I chose this book. I will definitely be looking for more books by this author.
I could rave about this book for hours, but don’t want to give anything away. If you like criminal investigation, paranormal and/or romances, I thoroughly recommend you read this book!

I didn’t know what to expect going into this book. I wasn’t sure if we were going to have an affair that led the main female character back to her family or if the bad boy hockey star was going to ruin a marriage and return to hockey. I know I am shortsighted when those were the only two outcomes I could think of. Let’s begin the journey that I took through this book without giving away anything (it can be done). So going in, I was already a little miffed with this book just because of the before mentioned outcomes that I could think of. I instantly fell in love with Beckett and Paige. They are both facing obstacles that would be tough for anyone to go through. I did not even fathom what was going to happen in this book and I am glad that I decided to give this book a chance. The love story that unfolds throughout the pages is amazing. There are parts of the book that made me wrinkle my nose because I didn’t care for what was happening but I persevered through the book and it has the most amazing ending I didn’t even think would be possible. I have to give this a 5 star rating because the author did an amazing job with touchy subject matter. It really made me realize that there is away more to the picture than just what can be seen in the black and white. They grey area that lives around what can and should be done is where this story thrives. This book made me feel as if I was part of the story. I even got snippy with anyone who tried to dare interrupt me while reading this. The author has shown me that I must give every book a chance even. if I think I know what is going to happen. Whether the ending was one that I predicted or something completely different, when you read this book you will enjoy the journey the characters take and the amount of growth they have. The book is really well written and kept me turning pages. There is some angst, some steam, love, heartache, and growth all throughout this book. You will not be disappointed with this read.

This isn’t the first book I’ve read by the author. This is the second book in The Trading Heartbeats Trilogy. I Love You Today is a great read. It gives the hope that you can find love.
Austin is helping his ex pack up and it’s to move on with his twin brother. He isn’t thrilled about the situation, but it might just help that his ex’s roommate is a friend. Can something happen between the two of them? The quote I chose for Austin is: “Tonight is on me, Casey. You did me a huge favor. I really didn’t want to sit there with them all night.”
Casey is hurt that her best friend, co-worker, and roommate is leaving. She isn’t sure what to do now that she is leaving. She feels bad for Austin and takes him out to show him around town. She knows he feels nothing for her and it sucks. The quote I chose for Casey is: “You don’t need me. You never did. The real question is what I’m going to do without you. I hate that you’re leaving.”

This book was definitely a page turner! I found myself full of emotions reading every page just rooting for Peggy to regain her confidence. Your heart strings will be tugged on as you understand her space as a struggling widow, overweight, teenage twins, and all of the cares of life, including being a stay at home mom! I love that she makes friends, even though she is nervous of them, and regains her self esteem and begins to believe in herself when she listens to her daughters sound advice. This story is very relatable, and I enjoyed every page!

This isn’t the first book I’ve read by the author. Faultless Love is a great book and I can’t wait for the next one. This is the first book of The Bennetts of Langston Falls Series. Teddy is a man of my dreams without going to jail.

There’s nothing I like better at this time of year than reading a good, holiday romance, and Susan Renee hit this one out of the park!
Tenley and Teagan are not quite enemies, but they find themselves worlds apart on their ideas of finding lasting love. Tenley is a cynic when it comes to romance. She has her own podcast, Practical Adult Relationships, where she trashes the idea of love and has no intention of ever falling in love herself! On the other hand, Teagan has his own blog, and he is known as the Love Guru. He is a believer in finding and keeping love yet he hasn’t found that special someone yet. By chance, he invites her to Hawaii for an all-expense paid trip for a week at a couple’s retreat. It’s more of a challenge…if she doesn’t fall in love, he will donate a hefty sum to her podcast. And, Tenley, being Tenley, cannot resist this challenge, not only for the money but to prove to the Love Guru once and for all that love doesn’t exist. Let the games begin!!!!
The attraction between these two is electric despite their dislike of one another. Therefore, the banter between them is fantastic!!! I also liked the fact that Susan Renee kind of turned the story on its head for me. She made the female character the cynic, and the male character the one who believes in the magic of love. I was on his side from the beginning, and I kept hoping he would get her to fall for him!
She also did something different with her characters’ voices. Tenley and Teagan both have their own chapters. We are given their conversations, but we are also given their inner thoughts, so we know exactly how they feel about one another, even though they don’t! I loved that!!!!!
One of my favorite parts of the book was at the end when Renee went into detail about the other couples who are there. They have appeared in her other books, and she actually included the titles of those books so I can easily find them to read. I’m really glad I took a chance on Susan Renee. She has found a new fan in me!

When the father that wasn’t around leaves you an inheritance after his death. This was pretty much how Love Tools started. Lily, the female lead, was left her father’s property in Montana. Which included a hardware store. So she uproots her life in London to start anew. Little did she know where this would lead her life. Will she let the past get the best of her? Jake didn’t know his friend Matthew had a daughter, and a feisty one at that. She comes blowing into his life and doesn’t know how to handle it. But he intends on proving to her she’s more than just a fling. Can he not get redemption? The story the author wrote was cute. Full of stubborn and feisty characters to keep one entertained. There were also some snickering laughs along the way. What the author put these two main characters through demonstrated so much growth on both parts it was refreshing. I enjoyed it and look forward to the next book!

I absolutely fell in love with this book on page one. It completely sucked me in, and the tenacity of the main character had me smiling throughout the whole book. It’s a quick read, pretty mild, but it’s still a gorgeous love story. Of course, there were moments when I wanted to smack both of them upside the head. It has such a wonderful ending, and I’m 100% looking forward to the next book!

Love Tools is the first in the Bluestone Series. This is the first book I have read by Leslie Georgeson, and I plan on reading them all after this. While Thief is technically the fourth book in the Popov Bratva series each book can be read as a standalone. Yes, the characters from the previous books do appear in this book but it is just adding to the story, they are not the main leads here. This book is a dual perspective book, going between Dominik and Leah. Dominik Popov is a 28-year-old man living in L.A., he is a part of the Popov Bratva family that has many business ventures including car sales and owning nightclubs. Dominik lived life by one rule, don’t get attached, but over the past year since his mother had passed away and his twin brother moved out of the family home things are different. Now feeling very dissatisfied with his life Dom decides to fill a new order for a car, for a thrill he has long lost. Leah Hart is a 27-year-old country music star living in L.A., a simple run to the local grocery store with her best friend and manager Melanie flips her life on its head. In the hurry to leave the store after a fellow customer recognizes her, she realizes after getting home that she has lost her wallet. A quick call to Gus her chauffeur and bodyguard to check the car she has no choice but to return to the store before they close in hopes of finding it. 10:45 p.m. with only 15 minutes until the store closes for the night Leah feels parking next to the only other expensive vehicle in the parking lot is safe. The feeling someone is behind her she catches a mysterious man exit the other vehicle and steal hers, but he won’t get away without her. With no choice but to let her go with her car he makes sure she keeps quiet. Insuring he has a backup plan in case she goes to the police he sets out to find out exactly who Leah Hart is. No preparation in the world could have prepared him for what he learns. A false name, dark family past, and a twisted ex keeps Dominik and Leah on their toes as they fight against their unwanted attraction for the other. Secrets come out and life mottos begin to shift. What will happen when Dominik learns all her secrets? What will happen when Leah’s past finds her? The authors world building and character development kept me racing to learn more. I can’t wait to learn more about Adrik, one of Dominik’s most loyal and trusted bodyguards in Beast, book 5 in the Popov Bratva series.
This book took me a bit to get into. At first I was a little confused on what was going on, but as the story progressed, the more I couldn’t put it down. It’s a beautiful book of overcoming the past, and letting old wounds heal and to stop letting the past mistakes rule your life. I absolutely loved this book, it’s a perfect gothic horror with a gorgeous ending. I can’t recommend this book enough!

Love Tools: Bluestone Series: Book One is the love story of Lily and Jake. With a feel good vibe and a clean romantic love this book is absolutely a perfect weekend read. The main characters are relatable and very interesting. The book is from the perspective of both Lily and Jake. Sam (Jake’s sister) and Alice (Lily’s sister) are also great characters and add a little sisterly fun to the book. If you are interested in romance and a feel good story you definitely need to give this book a chance. Can’t wait to read the next book. Highly recommend!
