Half-Pint Porky loves her little pig school but cannot wait to grow up so she can go to big pig school. She wants to be a real pirate and learn how to find buried treasure. Half-Pint asks her brother, Bacon Bart, lots of questions about pirate school. For Half-Pint going to big pig school and learning to be a pirate will never come fast enough. When the day finally comes, and she gets to go to big pig school she gets scared and wants the day to end.

This was such a cute little story about wanting to grow up too fast and teaches children the importance of patience. The author did a great job of teaching a valuable life lesson in a cute, easy-to-read manner. The illustrations are amazing and really brought the story to life. A must read for kids of all ages.
