This is a new author to me and intrigued by the synopsis and cover I decided to dive in. I really enjoyed the concept of this book….MFM romance with definite sizzle and spark….but also intrigue, danger and trying to piece together a bit of reality vs a dream.

Maddie, Cole and Charlie meet when they are young as friends that years go by become more having true feelings for each other…..a feeling of being true soul mates…but are these feelings truly real or are they just a dream? Will an eminent threat toward Maddie come between her, Charlie and Cole?

This was a great story and I loved all the characters and their love for each other. The connection is off the charts for sure and the premise of the story was unique to me.

True Colors is the first book in Landry’s True Colors Series and is a tween/teen drama packed with dram,self esteem, self-doubt,peer pressure and wanting to feel like you belong. This is geared more towards tween/teens ages eight to fourteen or middle school ages kids. I’ll say this I for one don’t miss the middle school days nor would I ever want to go back. Kids can be mean and make you feel like you don’t belong. Landry definitely has feelings of not being enougj or feeling like she belongs along with self doubt. Its rough being this age along with all the issues that come with it. I highly recommend reading this book to find out what happens. I look forward to reading more from this Author.

This is such a good story. I absolutely loved the characters. Rae was such an interesting character. I loved that this Rae seemed very down to earth. I also love that she had a male best friend. I feel like very rarely do authors accurately show the complications of a female with a male best friend and how that complicated relationships. I loved the character of Dean as well. I thought he was complicated in a relatable way. I love this story and all that was involved in this book. The romance was awesome and the steamy parts were so steamy. I definitely cannot wait to read more from this author and hope that we read more about Dean and Rae in the future.

Rae Allen doesn’t believe in love or happily ever after. She’s seen enough in her family to jade her for life. Thankfully, she has some pretty awesome friends, especially her best friend Brandon, who are there for her when things get rough. Her friendship with Brandon is more of a kindred kind…they are thicker than thieves, almost as if they were brother and sister. Brandon would do anything for Rae, especially after she helped him and his band land an amazing producer!

Dean Rowland is living a life of luxury. He’s surrounded by wealth, fame, and women. He’s living the life as one might say, proud of all his accomplishments. Except for the one thing he couldn’t conquer…getting married. After being jilted at the alter, Dean is happy to swear off women forever.

Rae gets a call for a favor. Her friend needs her to go and check out this house in Georgia for the next issue of the magazine that she publishes. This house is a bit mysterious and Rae doesn’t get a lot of background on it. When she arrives at the house, she can’t seem to get anyone to come to the door, even though they should be expecting her. The next scene will be on that will change her life forever and have her heart sending echoes out across Lake Lanier.

This was a very enjoyable read for a lazy Saturday afternoon! I read this book in one sitting. It’s a typical romance read and one where both main characters should be hog tied for their antics towards each other. This does have a happy ending and I even found myself tearing up in the end!

Half-Pint Porky is an impatient piggy that is excited to start school but when the time comes she is nervous to start. This is such an engaging story for small children. The writing is cute and funny to small children and the illustrations are beautiful. My boys loved reading this story and it got cute a few giggles out of them. This is a book that the whole family can enjoy together.

This is a great book, second in a series, but I had no problem following along not having read the first. But, after reading this one, I’ll be going back to read the first! I don’t normally read contemporary romance; I love a bit of magic in my story. I enjoyed this one immensely and it has possibly opened me up to read more of them! I thoroughly enjoyed the characters, the plot, and the authors writing! The story was very emotional, and I loved the journey the characters went through. Would definitely recommend this series, particularly this book.

At the beginning I really liked this book. About half way through I lost interest due to the jumping around of the story. I still feel like there are a lot of things missing. There isn’t a lot of explanation in a lot of the story. The concept is really interesting but I think it could have been better with more explanation of characters and not just the landscape and other surroundings and outfits. The main characters interactions made me go cross eyed trying to figure out what was actually going on. I was really excited to read this book and now that I have I’m kind of disappointed.

This is the start of a new series and I am so excited!
We get the story of StoryTeller, who based off his name likes to tell stories with detail and also enjoys a good book. When the unexpected happens with a book he found, he feels compelled to step in, despite the risks at stake.

I so enjoyed this book, the details as usual make you feel like you’re right there with the characters, screaming and hoping for the best in every scenario. If you like bikers, book lovers and action then this is the book for you.

This series is an interesting blend of myth and today’s world, ancient magic and modern technology. It is the third book in the Titanian Chronicles and as such, there are many references pertaining to what happened before. I haven’t read the two previous books so for myself, I was constantly getting annoyed. I like to know the whole story. I need to go back and read the first two books. That being said, it doesn’t take anything away from this sty. You can follow along without getting lost. It can be read as a stand-alone but if you are like me, then read the series in order.

This story is filled with action, magic and mayhem. The author has created a world which is totally believable. A supernatural race protecting mankind from evil. The characters are interesting and well rounded. They are strong but not infallible. Each has their own weakness. This series is a paranormal romance with established couples. This book revolves around Hagan and Faiza. Hagan is a Titanian warrior on the brink of bloodlust when he encounters Faiza, a young woman who was sold into slavery. Their fate was written in the stars, each suffering hardships to be ready for each other. I think Faiza did an excellent job of adjusting to a new life, new powers and a new love while battling a mage who has death magic . When destiny calls, you have to answer.

The story is fast paced and the characters play their parts well. I recommend this story for all teen girls from middle school through high school. Parents and adults alike will enjoy this story just as I did.

This is a beautiful slow burn romance. I love the author’s writing style and how the characters were really brought to life. The author has a way of writing that has you captivated by the characters and willing them to get their happy ever after. Even when that seems so unlikely.

This story had me captivated from the first page and I wasn’t able to put it down.

Rae is dead set against the idea of love. She can’t see herself falling in love and isn’t looking for it. So when she meets Dean she is taken completely by surprise when the feelings she gets aren’t entirely neutral.

Dean has had heart ache in the past when his ex partner left him at the aisle. Since then he has sworn against love. Never wanting to let anyone get close enough to hurt him again.

When they meet the circumstances aren’t ideal. Rae is meant to do a segment in a magazine about Dean’s house and he’s not supposed to be there. As Dean and Rae realise they are stuck with each other for the weekend their attractions grows.

Things aren’t going to be straight forward however and when Rae’s room-mate and famous rock star comes into the picture the jealously is there for everyone to see.

Can Rae and Dean see through all the rubbish and be together? Can they both let go of their pasts and embrace the love that is waiting for them if they are only brave enough to take the risk?

It was a beautiful story to watch unfold and their passion and pain is felt in every page and decision they make along the way

Savage Start is a Hidden Valley Elite prequel. This high school bully romance is full of dark, intense topics endured by two teenagers, Riley and Cole, who come from two completely different backgrounds. Riley is a rebel with a messy life, forced into a new town, always on the run with her dysfunctional mother. Cole comes from money but he and his brother find themselves in the middle of their parents’ infidelity issues. When Riley sneaks into a party that Cole is attending, sparks fly and they share the most passionate kiss.

Isla Vaughn is known to write about complex characters, strong alpha males, and fierce woman who bring them to their knees. Savage Start was a great introduction to all three of these topics. There was a lot of intense, dark, action packed into these short fifty five pages and I didn’t want it to end. I love that both Riley and Cole come with plenty of baggage but rely on one another to be the other’s safe haven. Although this is a prequel, and I am sure the intention was to leave you wanting more, I didn’t feel like there was enough, ending way too soon. And the cliffhanger has me thinking……OMG! Now I can’t wait to read Savage Lies.

Savage Start is just the tip of the iceberg. It’s my initial introduction to The Hidden Valley Elite Series, and I can say I want more. A short prequel that seems to set up a wild series. The author gets you interested, drags you right into the world that’s been created. Then cut! Leaves you hanging, wanting more, thinking how it could end that way. But that’s what’s brilliant about it. Because it was enough to peak one’s interest and just enough to get one hooked.
The introduction of Riley and Cole and the extremely different lives they lead. The secrets and lies that I guarantee will bring them back across each other’s paths later on. But for now it’s a stolen kiss from a stranger that burns them up. Unfortunately though life happens, and turns everything on its head.
I can’t wait till the next book is released, I’m hooked! I also think you could be too! It may be just a taste, but it’ll have you wanting more!

Yikes! This is a story that scares the crud out of me. I can easily see this happening. That being said…I Loved it! I have already recommended it to a few people. I easily felt empathy, anger, sadness and frustration. I was shocked at the behavior of a few of the characters and could feel the betrayal deep in my bones. The main lead impressed me with grit, determination and inner strength. I could not help but root for her with every page I turned.

This is a first time author for me. I immensely enjoyed this. The writing style kept me engaged and the story moved along at a good clip not getting caught up in unnecessary wording.
Again…highly recommend!

This story is beautiful. A story of second chances for two beautiful souls that have some baggage from the past. Rae and Dean meet when she comes to take pictures of his house for a magazine spread. The chemistry is there but the baggage gets in the way. What got me right in the heart was watching these two develop their relationship. The writing is divine. You can feel the passion, compassion, and the struggle as Dean deals with his past and Rae works through hers and tries to help him. This story line just kept me so engaged. The supporting characters were terrific. Kat, Brandon, and Chris were written into the story just perfect. I enjoyed the story so much. It left me thinking about the characters even after I had finished the book. This is a new author for me and I hope to read more.

This story is written from a POV like it’s a memoir. Starts out a bit slow – not because of lack of detail, just not the normal type of writing I’m drawn to. However, this book really delves into a lot of detail and picks up several chapters in.

After Fenimore introducing himself and sharing background, you get into him leaving to go out and become a famous outlaw in the West. He really romanticizes what he expects to happen and things go astray pretty regularly, as the danger and close quarters bring about a lot of emotions. Fenimore realizes he is beginning to have feelings for one of his fellow outlaws, but being with another man is as dangerous as being an outlaw if not more so.

On top of dealing with his growing feelings and daily danger, he is dreaming often of a Man in Black who is a stranger to him – and now his fellow members of his group are being murdered and their bodies are being used to send messages. Who is after them all? Will anyone find out his secret? Will he stay safe from the murderer?

There are a lot of things happening in this book, but the detail is outstanding and it keeps you interested. If the beginning feels a little hard to read, keep going. It picks up and was a very well thought out and built story.

This is the first book I read from this series. I didn’t realize it was apart of a series till after but it can be read as a standalone.

Adam plays the bass is the biggest rock band there is. Christy is a huge pop diva star. When Christy goes in your with the band, the chemistry is instant and boy is it hot!
For me this story has an even balance of spice and plot. Christy has a past that her and her best friend try their best to keep hidden. Adam want more than just sex from Christy but she won’t let him come in.
I’m very interested in going back to read the other band members stories!

A princess sick of being who she was, a rebel always up for adventure and two people getting more than they wished for. This was such a nice read, nothing that vexed me or left me in a loop of upheaving emotion. It’s the perfect rainy day book, and i did just that, in one sitting. I enjoyed the thrill, secrecy, and romantic possibilities and would defiantly read more from the author!

Wild Lavender is the first book in the Heart & Hand series by Nicole E. Kelleher. It is a captivating historical fantasy romance with plenty of action, adventure, danger, violence, challenges, duty, murder, chemistry, steam, high stakes, prophecy, politics, agendas, and a touch of fate.
This turned out to be quite an angsty adventure that pulled me in and kept me engaged the whole way through.

This book is for both young and old. Be prepared to head back to junior high and feel all those same feelings of insecurities.. I loved how sincere Landry’s thoughts of self-doubt were completely on the mark. My Inner Critic was phenomenal. Not that I don’t have a love/hate relationship towards it. But that’s not because of what the author wrote but because it made me evaluate myself in comparison to the character. As someone who lives with High Functioning Anxiety this book hit extremely close to home. I also realized that everything that drove me crazy about the character, I do myself. Though it may be a fictionalized version of the author’s story, it’s very accurate to anyone who lives with this.
Emily lives in a world where everyone’s own happiness is put above hers. Also that she sees none of the positive traits in herself that others see. Going through the motions of life, when fear/anxiety don’t get in the way is how she exists. Unfortunately she’s also at that point in life, that those closest to her are moving on. Getting married, starting families, and drifting apart, leaving her single and alone. Or is she?
Blake is single and free. Not thrilled about getting divorced but so happy to start back up The Friday Night Club with Emily. He cares for her, and he keeps dropping signs that she’s missing. She doesn’t realize he would drop anything for her. That’s Blake’s job to figure out how to navigate the field, all the while she’s trying to find herself.
Everything the author brings you is so spot on! You may go through everything the author presents to you as well, don’t use it as a trigger. Use it as a way to learn something about yourself. I feel like everyone should read this book!

This story really broke my heart from the beginning. While I love a good rags to riches story, this one had so much emotion and so many feelings that I cried multiple times through the story. Full of romance, suspense, mystery, and more I just simply couldn’t put this story down. When I first saw the cover of this book and read the synopsis I knew that I would be pulled in right away, and I definitely wasn’t wrong. Having read several stories from this author before I knew that I would just love this one, and she did not disappoint. So if your looking for a great mystery, or some romance then make sure to pick this one up today.

When I first saw the cover of this book I knew right away that I wanted to read it. While this is the first book of the series I think it’s going to be a fantastic fun series to read. The main character is fun, quirky, and friendly. I absolutely loved that the author included the main character’s dog, and while this was not a traditional cozy mystery it was still a great one. There are plenty of twists and turns that make this not only an interesting read, but a fast read as well. So if your looking for your next amazing read, then make sure to pick this one up today.
