The Man In Black is a Historical Romance/Thriller that I honestly wasn’t sure what to expect going in. This is a new author to me and I’m definitely looking forward to reading more from her. Once I got past the first couple of chapters my interest definitely grew but it’s a really long book and I had a hard time keeping my interest going. With that being said I still truly enjoyed reading this book and at times found myself on the edge of my seat trying to figure out what was going to happen next. I recommend reading this book to find out what happens next. I look forward to seeing what other books this author has.

Little Loretta was fascinated by the field of Monarch butterflies only to be sad when they all left. To her excitement, she was able to see a brand new caterpillar grow in front of her very own eyes. What a fun book to help teach children about the lifecycle of the Monarch butterflies. I also learned more about their migration habits from the foot notes in the back. The kid in me wants to find a caterpillar egg and watch it grow into a full butterfly!
With Isla and the other traitors trying to reek havoc, Master Calabrea is tasked with finding Isla and returning with her alive. I have absolutely loved this series and can not wait for the next book. I was a bit bummed it ended on such a cliffhanger but excited to see what happens next.

Maddie is nine years old when she first meets Cole and Charlie. Unfortunately she only sees them in her dreams at different places. Over the years they become really close friends although romantic feelings start to grow.
Maddie starts having a refuting nightmare of someone in a hoodie pointing a gun at one of the guys.
I am a sucker for dream meetings where the people are actually in real and the two meet outside of dreams.
The reason behind them meeting in their dreams is stated but I don’t think it was ever clear who the person with the hun was and why the were targeting Maddie.
I generally stay away from ménage à trois MFM romances but I could turn away a premise like this.

I have really enjoyed the Anderson sisters series both books were quick easy reads with great characters and unique stories to each of the girls. Each book can be read as a standalone so the order doesn’t really matter. Just pick a book and enjoy!

Holy Cow! Prepare yourself for the wild ride that is the world of the Devil’s Handmaidens MC! This is my first read in the series and it ripped and gripped my heart, through and through. Shadow is a haunted woman who is fighting to rid the world of the scum that prey on the innocent. She is a badass who doesn’t hold back and kicks the crap out of those who desperately deserve it. I loved her rough and tough exterior and was able to see a glimpse into the scarred interior that motivated her. So I was more than happy to see Panther come along, with his very own wounds to heal. The two find out not only what they are made of, but how they are made for each other. I loved every second of it!
This was my first book by the author and I didn’t read any of the previous Pierce Brothers Books. I am definitely going back to catch up on Books 1-3!
The story of Noah and Amy is exactly what you would expect from a angsty, grump/sunshine, rom com. Yet, the way the author weaves her storytelling web, you find yourself instantly hooked and enjoying every single slow burn that comes your way. In fact, you find yourself begging for more! I loved delving into the lives of the two and I was rooting for them from the very start, because seriously, how could you not! This book was like a sweet delectable dessert that you want to devour yet savor at the same time. Do yourself a favor, and take a bite!

As Lane battles those sent after him, he stumbles across a group of vampires who are different than any he’s ever dealt with. They don’t attack him. They don’t run from him. And they live with humans. But are they unexpected allies, or just another obstacle to getting home?
Trigger warning : May have scenes of violence too intense for some readers.

It’s fast paced with action and some steamy scenes. Master Calabrea is content to not have a mate and have non-committed relationships. That is until he meets Tansia. It’s been told in the Vade Mecum, the book that the Vampires value as a set of rules, that a woman who resembles Tansia in looks will save their race. She will partner with a fierce and noble vampire leader who could possible be Calabrea and have the power of site. How much of it is true? Calabrea is if course attracted to her physically but finds that he is becoming enamored with her for her feisty personality. Soon things between these two heat up in the bedroom but end up getting a bit messy when a former lover of Calabrea gets jealous. In the midst of these two trying to figure out how to make a relationship work between a Vampire and a human they are also helping Overmaster Descallia hunt down Isala. She is still out there building an army to take them down, but will she be successful? Or will they find her before any more damage is done? This books, as well as the others, can be read as a stand alone however there are some parts that make more sense when reading them in order. You won’t get lost if you don’t read the other stories, but you can get a better sense of what is happening instead of being thrown to the wolves so to speak and having to play catch up.

View all my reviews

Lois is a former high school chemistry teacher and former head science teacher at Science in the City Summer Camp in Philadelphia. She has also been an adjunct science teacher at University of South Florida. Since retiring, she continues to take science classes. Her class in Forensic Biology led to Little Red, The Detective, in which Red is studying fingerprint identification, so she can tell that “Grandma” isn’t who she says she is.
Lois has taken so many science classes that she believes science is the solution to almost every problem, including the dilemmas in fairy tales. She has invented what she calls Science Folktales. In each science-based tale, the protagonist achieves a better ending than the original because of learning scientific principles. She has turned some of these tales into plays.
She has also created a series of Mermaid Science stories, which make use of water science.
Lois is married to the love of her life. She has two children, four grandchildren and a dog.

Mission 3047, introduces an incredibly competent female protagonist in June, who also occasionally goes by Chloe Manginaro. Her fast-paced story does not disappoint. Replete with top-secret missions, real estate transactions, musical arias, cultural sensitivity, brainwave research, PTSD, and engaging encounters with extra-terrestrials. June joyfully exudes undying love and support for her two teen-aged daughters Livy & Cora, incapacitated husband Joe, home health care aide Barb, and the mysterious confidante Sarge.
In this day and age with UFOs and UAPs being seen by military personnel and civilians alike, it seemed only appropriate that I include them in my latest book, “Mission 3047.”
ETs, extraterrestrial beings, have been a part of my life for many years now. I have talked with many and have taken pictures of UFOs with my phone’s camera. You can see three of them on the cover.
I was lucky, I guess, that the soul of a dear friend of mine cared to share her deepest fantasies with me and gave me permission to write them as I saw fit. It was a nice fit since I love to write soul’s stories. All of my books include the story of at least one soul. My lifetime work has been to help souls heal and arrive at the destination here that most fit them and their particular gifts thus helping their human hosts heal as well.
I hope you have enjoyed my books and have shared them with your friends.
