This was a beautifully written book about a second chance at love after heartbreak. I wasn’t sure what to expect as I hadn’t read anything from this author before, but I am very impressed and will be picking up more books from them! I really enjoyed the range of emotions and the depth of each character. You really feel like you get to know both Elle and Blake on their own and can feel the hesitation along with their chemistry. I never felt any lulls in the book and thought every scene pulled me in each time. I highly recommend picking this book up so you can prepare for the next in the series!

Another entertaining and action seeking read in the second installment in this series. This one starts as Titania starts to find her place as Queen and leader of Aubren. She seeks knowledge in order to make sure she is leading her people in the right manner and using her abilities to help. Unfortunately this all leads to being accused of treason and those who were once strong allies start to distance themselves from her when they are needed the most. As this story continues and is introduced to great characters, I cannot wait to read the last installment in this series!

This is a great story for late elementary and early middle school kiddos. I loved the messages throughout this book. We read it together as a family and talked about bullying and standing up for what is right. For reference, my kids are 7 and 11, and I think that age frame is spot on. Both of my kids are also the smaller ones in their classes which made this even more relatable for them. I enjoyed the illustrations, and the flow of this story was great. What a great way to get people talking about fairness, friendships, and fitting in!

Titania is such a strong female lead. Already from the beginning, she is determined to defend her land and people at whatever cost. At the traumatic loss of her brothers, she tries to prove to her father that she is more than capable and ready. After a sudden attack, it is time to take her place as Queen. Although she was very determined at first to lead and defend her people, this 15 year old struggles with leadership and is distracted by what most teenage girls deal with…boys! Copeland introduces other magical elements as well as the distinction of Middle Earth. This was such a great read and I’m looking forward to the next two.

I enjoyed the book and the authors writing style. This is an urban fantasy that has non-stop action with a realistic feel. With the excellent writing and attention to detail the characters and plot really made me feel like I was there in the story. The story is filled with prophecy, magic, shifters, Fae, other supernatural elements, demons, angles, secrets, danger, revenge, drama, chemistry, romance, humor, quirky moments, and sooooo much more. Literally everything you would want in a book to keep you captivated. The MC heroine’s character has their entire life turned upside down and is faced with all new challenges and rules. I would say that some characters are morally grey which are always my favorite. The heroine is attracted to the bad guys and trouble always seems to find her. One of the main struggles she faces is her ex putting a hit out for her, so she must go into witness protection. So many ulterior motives mixed with love and prophecy.
Definitely a fan of Courtney Davis’s writing, and will continue to read her books! Also, will recommend this book to anyone wanting an excellent magical read that transports you out of reality!

Theresa continues to impress me with this original high stake’s series. Soul Redeemed is another unique continuation and the fifth book in the War of Destiny series. Make sure you start with Lost Souls book one in this epic series and work your way through each one as the build on from each other. Get ready to devour this dark vampiric paranormal fantasy story. The characters are well written have depth and well developed. Theresa’s world building is skilfully built and carefully crafted. The plot is fast-paced and is as gripping as it is engaging. It is a multilayered tale full of action, tension, intense danger, intrigue, imagination and twist and turns that you will find hard to put this book down. Once again, the vividness allows the reader to enjoy every nuance of Theresa’s storytelling. Soul Redeemed is built a solid foundation that has been skilfully woven into an exciting story. I am not going to share the details because Theresa’s words need to be taken in like a fine wine to let you draw your own picture through your own imagination. You don’t want to miss out on this epic series.

People Safari is a fun story told by animals and their perspective of human life. It will make you laugh out loud at their perusals. It is easy to dive into the story with the bright and colourful illustrations by Pandu Permana that bring Feather Chelle’s words to life. Children between the ages of 5 – 10 years and even adults will delight in this refreshing tale where a deer family and their raccoon guide take an up close and personal look into scientific behaviours of the humankind. An excellent book for special occasions.
I really really enjoyed this book so. It was very hard to put down, once I started reading. Very quick read (for me anyway). As a cat momma here…..Loved the pet cats name LOL 🙊 The characters were wonderfully written. The plot was just awesome! As is the WORLD the author created here. Lover of magic && the paranormal! I’m super glad I gave this book a read!

I’ll Love You Tomorrow is the third and final installment in the Trading Heartbeats Trilogy. It is finally time for Mitch and Lauren to have their story told, and it is a wonderful second-chance romance complete with twists and turns and a lot of emotions involved.
Lauren and Mitch knew they were meant to be together since they were children, and they made that dream come true many years ago, but now, that love they have always had for one another is in danger of imploding. I felt a compassion for both Mitch and Lauren. I could understand both of their points of view, and I would sometimes become frustrated with them. However, that is a reason I liked the book so much…the emotions! Life happens and sometimes that impacts a marriage, even a good one. I thought the author did a great job of illustrating that.
Each story in this series is different, but this one is unique in the genre as well. Instead of us meeting Mitch and Lauren at the beginning of their relationship, we are meeting them at the possible end of their marriage. I was already emotionally invested in them throughout the first two books, so I was hoping they would be able to find their way back to one another. The love they had for each other was still there; these two just had to find a way to continue their journey. It involved some deep soul-searching and maturing on each of their parts to find their new happiness.
I enjoyed the way the book was written. The writer included the couples from the previous books, and their inclusion really helped the story flow. I highly suggest reading these books in order as I think that will help readers see all the connections more clearly. I loved the epilogue. It really ended the way it should have…with all the couples. Without ruining anything, I can’t wait for Navickas’s next series…it involves someone from this one, and it involves someone I’m really curious about getting to know what makes them tick!

I really enjoy this paranormal romance; it has a bit of everything – action, magic, paranormal creatures, good vs. Evil, secrets, a dash of romance and more!
My favourite character is Baal, I love that he’s not the typical hero character we root for. His interactions with others are interesting and his ‘flaws’ make him more lovable to me.
There is a lot of action which I love meaning there are no dull moments. However, there were moments when it felt a little too fast-paced and a little rushed. There were also parts which I felt needed further development to add more depth to the characters (to give them more growth) but despite this, the plot is original and creative, and I couldn’t put this book down!
I enjoyed it but think that had the plot progressed more slowly, for example with a second book, the characters would have that development to give them more depth. Overall, this was an original and enjoyable read with a lot of potential.

This is an interesting story about a man on a mission to find love and the three women he is interested in. I enjoyed this story because it is based in true life and I found this added an extra level of detail to the story. Although the book is well developed and thought through, I found it to also be quite fast paced, which I hadn’t expected. Overall I think this is a good story. I didn’t fully connect with all the characters but I appreciated how they were interwoven and added to the story. This was an enjoyable read and has piqued my interest enough to read more from this author.

This book is a fast paced fantasy story that is action packed from start to finish. There is so much going on with this story and the characters are right in the middle of it. I enjoyed the premise of this story. I think the author has created an exciting story that is easy to engage with. The characters fit perfectly with the story and I thought they connection was so well crafted. This is an author I am newly familiar with and I am definitely enjoying her work so far. Each book I well written and I never fail to enjoy the story. This is a great book and I would certainly recommend it.

Savage Truth features the alternating views from Riley and Cole. Cole had erased the fight videos that Riley was using to blackmail him with. Cole wanted Raelyn and Riley gone from his life.. sort of. When Lucas told Cole to not get involved with Riley, Riley teamed up with Cassie to devise a plan to take Cole down. Their plan backfired when Riley couldn’t stop her feelings from growing. Cole and Riley became intimate overnight. When Cole couldn’t find Riley at home, he entered the school gym to discover Riley was at a dive practice. Jealousy caused Cole to start a fight with Jarrett. Subsequently, the following school day, Cole began an argument in class. With a warning from the principal, Cole attempted to make Riley jealous by kissing another girl. At lunch, Cole sees Jarrett and Riley together and another fight ensues. They suspended both of them from school.
The past intensified the tension that builds in the story that Raelyn and Riley were running from. I had an idea about Riley’s uncle being a mobster or someone of high influence. Pulling the cons they did and never being caught isn’t something most people are capable of. I didn’t understand why Cole wanted Riley, but couldn’t admit his feelings for her. When he took her virginity, he played it off like it meant nothing. Riley’s reaction was relatable. There are some loose ends that occur in the conclusion, but I am seriously looking forward to reading more of the series.

Queen Titania returns in this third instalment of this series and as the sole monarch of her realm, she has had a lot on her plate for the last ten months, but it seems that the challenges she always seems to be facing are not stopping any time soon. Her first hurdle she has to cross is making appearances at important events across the kingdom, however, there is an extra stress added when she is unaware of some traditions and has to balance time with her family and time with the other heads of the surrounding kingdoms, not to mention that her father has been approached by some of them with offers of courtship and marriage, much to her horror!
Meanwhile, she returns to her day to day life running her kingdom, however, nothing quite goes to plan and she has a request for her presence by the those she has helped in the past and yet again, they are asking for her assistance. The suitors whom approached her father come to her abode during the festivities and begin the negotiations, one of which she flats out refuses, however, she does agree to the rest and now has to arrange visits between the kingdoms on top of her preparations for the seasons as they pass through, she does have help from her father to prepare some history and information about each suitor so that she can have some knowledge of their kingdoms, as well as the suitors themselves.
As the tasks pile on to Titania’s shoulders, her research into solutions for the many issues she is facing has led her to an ancient prophecy about one who will defeat all of the evil in the land and as she is reading into it more, she begins to realise that she is possibly the fae it is describing, there is one problem with it though, her magical abilities are still not manifesting and it is another thing to add to her list of worries. As the suitors dogging her every step, requests from all around her for assistance and generally running her kingdom, Titania is both physically and emotionally battling through her responsibilities, but as the danger grows, she is determined not to let it all bury her, but will she be able to remain stoic as she struggles to maintain control of her life and her kingdom? This is a story which is full of twists and turns, as well as showcasing the pressures of coming of age, while shouldering the responsibilities of someone much older and thus proving her worth to those around her, in this complex and engaging story.

To be a Fae Legend is Book Three in the Realm Chronicles series. Tatiana is now seventeen and looking forward to some rest and relaxation after the harrowing ordeals that she endured in book two. When her mother told her the prophecy that bad things happen in threes she could not have been more right. More evil is lurking out there and it is up to Tatiana to fight to save her family, her people, and her kingdom. Tatiana must also make a choice between her suitors, even if that choice puts the needs of the kingdom before what her heart wants.
This series has been so splendidly written that it has captured my attention since the first book. If you have not done so, I highly recommend reading them in order as each book continues and builds up on the story from the previous one. The author’s writing style is so vivid and accurate that it immerses the reader fully into the setting and story along with the characters. Tatiana has grown and matured as both a person and as Queen of her kingdom. She is forward-thinking, smart, strong willed, determined, motivated, brave, and feisty. It is admirable how Tatiana faces evil forces head-on and does what she can to protect her kingdom and those she loves, which often means putting their needs before her own. A fantastic read with suspense, danger, magic, action, danger, and the battle of good versus evil.

To be a Fae Guardian is Book Two in the Realm Chronicles series. This book starts off where the first book left off and builds on the story. There is immediately some suspense and intrigue as Titania’s adventures continue. As she has taken on her duties in her role as Queen, Titania has grown, matured, and adapts to each situation and obstacle that comes her way. Although she struggles to believe in herself and her abilities, she does the best that she can for her kingdom. In her most recent adventure, Titania must fight to save her kingdom from evil forces that threaten to destroy Middle Earth.
Yet another great book by this talented author whose writing style draws you completely into the story. The attention to detail and vivid descriptions make the reader feel as though they are there in the story as it unfolds. The characters are fantastic, and it was nice to see Tatiana’s growth as a character as she tried to settle into her role and duties as Queen. Tatiana may be young, but she has some strong opinions on how to run and protect the kingdom that not everyone agrees with. In saving her kingdom from the Kobold she broke the rules of the High Council and is accused of treason. Being Queen does not save her from having to be punished but it does not deter her from trying to save the Fae from the evil forces that threaten to destroy her realm. Queen Tatiana must rise to the challenge with grace, courage, strength, and determination. I highly recommend this great read.

Elle Sullivan thought that when she left home in Sweet Valley, Wyoming that all her dreams would be fulfilled. Instead Elle is heading home with bruises and a broken soul, she finds her family embracing her and respecting her wishes to keep her secrets. Seeing Blake O’Connor again she is hurt by his gruff response to her, he was her one but he pushed her away. Two broken souls end up working together to heal but will Elle’s past let her go.
This was a bit of a surprise to me, the way the story unfolded. I was haunted by Elle, she is trying so hard to heal herself and small towns have a way of being the best and the worst in some instances to others. Blake was unlike a male lead that I have read, he has to work on himself and there is a rawness to the story that goes from blistery raw to healing with each turn of the page. Really good story, definitely would read more from this author.

To be a Fae Queen is Book One in the Realm Chronicles series. We are introduced to fifteen-year-old Titania, a faerie princess who is preparing to be Queen. Although she has been training for years, she is feeling unprepared for the role at such a young age and is undecided if she is ready for the role of Queen. Her family is broken and still grieving from the loss of her four brothers which has left her mom in a catatonic state. Her brothers lost their lives in battle with the Kobold which left Titania as the last of her line. Titania must be brave and prepare for her role as Queen even if she does not feel ready. As she does so she must decide who she can trust as she is met with resistance from forces both inside and outside of the castle walls.
This was the first book that I have read by this author, but it will not be the last. I loved the author’s writing style and was completely immersed in the story through the author’s vivid descriptions. The characters were captivating, and easily relatable. My heart went out to Titania’s mom as she grieved for the loss of her sons. It was truly heartbreaking to think about the immense grief and sadness over such a tragedy. I especially liked the character of fifteen-year-old Titania, who did not let her young age stop her from preparing for her role as Queen. Through her sadness, grief, loss, and fear she musters up the strength and courage to do what is best for her kingdom even though it means putting it before her own needs. We see her grow as a character, gaining years of wisdom in a short time. Through the obstacles she overcomes we can see that Titania is strong, smart, determined, and feisty. This book has action, suspense, mystery, magic, faeries, and drama in the age-old battle of good versus evil. Now onto book two.

This story is pure fun and absolutely wonderful. I have read many books from this author and this story is one of my favorite. How can you describe what a monster truly is? Meg’s big sister, Sue, tries to explain to Meg all about monsters and they can be scary. With each detail Sue has Meg goes along and understands all while being visually impaired. That does not stop Meg for sure to know all about monsters!!
This book is wonderful wonderful wonderful. I very highly recommend everyone of all ages to definitely read this. The illustrations are great and just the story itself and the message…truly fantastic!

I’m such a sucker for a second chance romance. This book is number 5 in the series and can be read as a stand alone. ( I wonder if I would’ve liked it better if so didnt know about the characters ) I had a strong dislike for Garrett from the beginning. Here he is living the life he always wanted when a blast from his past is right there in front of him. It’s 10 years later And now they are expected to work Closely. Can it be done? Garrett definitely regrets how everything ended. Olivia knows the gang well has known them since before they were a huge rockband. Garrett spends a lot of time regretting his decisions he made almost 10 years ago. This book had plenty of heat and happy moments. I just dont like the character of Garrett There are plenty of the same characters in this book as the previous ones. This is another great book in the series.

Healing Kiss is a paranormal romance and not my normal genre of choice. That being said, I actually enjoyed this book more than I thought that I would. Lillian Milano has a special gift; she can heal the sick by drawing energy from the healthy. When authorities in an organization called Kinetica catch wind of her paranormal gift, she goes into hiding with the alias “Zoey Mills”. Kinetica wants to do research in order to use Lillian’s power for awful reasons. Unfortunately Hannah, her sister, has become gravely ill and is in desperate need of a miracle. Even Lillian’s power can not help her sister, and while in the hospital, she meets Tristan King. Tristan is in need of help himself, and they strike a deal. As time goes on, they become closer. This book is filled with drama, trust and distrust, suspense and action with sides of psychic ability and elements of loss and fear. I gave a 4 star only because of how predictable I found this to be, and the cliche of “girl in distress wins over the handsome billionaire”, but overall still a good read.

Silas is the new kid at school, and if that isnt terrifying enough, he is much smaller than the other kids in his grade. Even after all the horror stories about 6th grade that his grandfather has told him, Silas is still pretty open minded about it all. Even Silas’ teachers do not believe he is 11 years old, and he is removed from his English class on the first day! Not long after starting school, Silas becomes the target of the class bully…but he also starts making friends. When Chad (the bully) runs for class president, Silas knows he can not let him win. This gave me very David and Goliath vibes, in a way. The characters in this book are full of behaviors and attitudes that are realistic. As a mother of a sixth grader, I enjoyed this story as it gave me some insight into the real life struggles of acceptance that we seen in our real lives this year. This story about acceptance and middle school behaviors hit home, and I will have my son read it as he prepares for 7th grade! Reviewed By @zoltrixes

Ivy is trying to save her ranch and in doing so finds herself in a fake engagement to Ace, a wounded soul in more ways than one. With the new close proximity to each other, the fake relationship becomes more real than either expected.
This was a quick and easy read. Both lead characters were likeable and charming. Ace’s mom, Liz, was a fun character and I felt I wanted more parts with her in it. While I did love the story and flow, my biggest issues was the constant use of the pet names ‘sugar’ and ‘honey’. It felt overused and hindered the flow of dialogue for me. Good addition overall to the Bluestone series.

The author of this book takes an extremely unique spin on the story of when the first sin happened. It was a pretty interesting story however I think I got lost while reading it and my anticipation of what would come next made it really rough to follow along. Very creative take on the story. I’m definitely interested in reading more from the author on different subjects.

The Serpent and The Firefly is the first work by Courtney Davis that I have ever read and it will definitely not be the last! Her characters are so dynamic and fun to get to know. I really enjoyed Jade and her backstory of why she was put in witness protection. I loved how she and Baal played off each other. I could not put this book down for anything! Davis makes you need to know what happens next by giving all her characters different angles. A wonderful paranormal romance that has everything you could ever want from a bada$$ king of Hell, to demons, shifters, and fae with different realms that are just so unique! A must read for any lover of the supernatural!

This is a story of loss, grief and rebuilding relationships. It is not an easy read as it tears at your heart – knowing that sisterbond, and mother daughter bond can so easily be broken. I liked how the author shows us all sides of the story through the short chapters from each perspective. It helps to understand what all the characters are feeling, thinking and going through and it really shows that we don’t know deep down what someone else is going through – even our own sister. The setting of the story is beautiful – I especially liked the garden the visit in Canada.

This is the 3rd book in the Trading Hearts Triology and wow what an emotional read. These books can be read as a standalone however some character are interwoven from the previous books so reading them in order makes the story feel complete as you are familiar with all the character. This was a very emotional story about a young women who had it all. She had the love of her life and a thriving business but over time her business starts to fail and her marriage is on the rocks. When a fire at her business destroys it Lauren has lost it all. Feeling lost and in despair she heads to Vegas. No one knows what happens in Vegas right? With all the upheaval, secrets and things standing in their way can Mitch and Lauren rekindle their love or are some obstacles just too hard to over come. I felt heartbroken for Lauren for all the pain she was enduring as Mitch was drifting away from her. I also fed sad of Mitch too because you could tell he didn’t want their marriage to fail that deep down he does truely love Lauren. A part of me was wishing them to pull things back together and at other times I felt their were better apart. This is definately a story that will take you on a rollercoast ride of emotions.

What a different yet modern day Retelling of the Creation of the world. Lucifer re-enters the world as we know it now. His life is completely turned upside down when his father sends him back to the Garden of Eden. Adam is not who I thought he was. He is abusive and all together needs a backbone of respect for Eve and those around him. As Eve is so much stronger and independent. This Retelling in modern day is spot on. I am a Christian and found this story to be humorous and easy to follow. Some of it was heart wrenching and yet again it was still worth my listening too. The author is creative and knows what she is writing about. Some may disagree, but for me it was well worth reading/listening to. I found this story enjoyable and found it to be informative, LOL. Life is too short to take everything too seriously. We all know the story, this is just a different way of looking at things. A Story reinvented and enjoyable.
