Grand Slam is the third book in the Ground Rule sports series. Each book can be read as a standalone, but you should start at the beginning with Walk Off and work your way through. Bree’s storytelling and the ease in which she comes up with amazing stories and the journey into relationships. This book is well written and is fun and with humour and emotional and intense at times. The story flows nicely and making it a quick and easy read making it easy to become lost in the story. The stories will keep you on your toes to see how things go and by the time you have finished you won’t be disappointed. Bree writes complex characters that are relatable and know what they want. Each couple have their own trials and tribulations to work through to become one. The men in the series will make you all hot and sweaty and these sassy and smart women feel like friends. The story is steamy with yet at times emotional and intense. Grace has never met a man she disliked so much until she met him. Now it appears he is back in her life, and she sees another side to him. Not that it would ever work. Or would it? Heath has everything he has ever wanted but the one thing to make him complete. Now he is ready to move the bases and make his play. I highly recommend you won’t be disappointed. I can’t wait to see what Bree comes up with next.

All consuming. This is the first book I have read by Victoria Saccenti, and though it is the third book in the series I have never read the previous two but plan to go back and read them. Twisted Proposal is just that, twisted but not exactly in all the ways you would expect. Told from both Ethan and Siena’s perspectives it pulls back layer after layer of secrets and twists to keep you hungry for more information. Ethan was born into an empire of wealth but found his own interests and only stepped into his father’s role when asked. Siena, also born into money, had a hardship that took everything from her including her parents’ deaths. Now with a dream to start her own fashion design brand Siena seeks out investors. With some start up from her first cousin Joyce, later discovering it was stolen funds from her husband, Siena seeks the investment of The Big Seven. Ethan, the one person that has a deep-seated need for revenge on Joyce, ends up being the only one that can help her, but he has some terms of his own. This is one of those tales intriguing dark tales that you will love. Twisted Eros is a little gritty, a bit kinky, a little bit sexy and an interesting retelling of the Greek mythology Eros god of love and Psyche goddess of the soul. When you have a workaholic, the boss, a vacation with a twist, a fantasy, and you have a woman who finds herself in the darkness of an unknown world of wants, desires and curiosity. It is a fun but twisted tale that is full of excitement, angst, drama and family and much more. Kate is a workaholic, but she has her arm twisted to try something different for the vacation she is talked into. Only the vacation is not entirely what she thought. These are complex characters and their relationships come with lots of baggage. If you like elements of stories told on the darker side and sexy then you need to get hold of Twisted Eros and jump right in.

This book is a brilliant and vibrant way to introduce children to Israel and what it has to offer. The author has done such a good job of creating a book that really makes it feel like you are experiencing it. My daughter has become so much more curious about things since starting school and this is the exact type of book that she loves to explore at the moment. It was educating yet fun and engaging, with the picture perfect for drawing you in. This book is great for readers of all ages and was a fantastic book to read.

Sacrifice Bunt is the second book in the Ground Rule Series. This is a wonderfully written Sports Romance that once you start reading its hard to put down. I literally read this in one sitting as I had to know how things were going to end. These two have some serious chemistry between. This author is one of the reasons I love Sports Romance so much. Her attention to detail makes the story come off the pages along with creative, yet strong and fully developed characters. This is definitely my favorite of this series yet. This is a fast paced story that will have you turning the pages. Can these have more than one night? I highly recommend reading this book to find out what happens between Noah and Zara. Im super excited about the next book in this series and looking forward to reading more from this Author.

Although a short story, this book is action packed and exciting right from the word go. The author has created a story that really draws you in and throws you straight into the lives of these characters. If you have read the main series you already have an understanding of these characters and it was nice to get a glimpse of them all again. I thought the story was a little confusing at times. It could be quite hard to follow, especially for a short book. However, overall I enjoyed the story and wanted to see how things would play out. I would definitely say it is worth giving this book a try.

House of Arsceneaux is part of the Servants of Morrigan: Immortal Creatures Series. This is a fast paced Paranormal Romance that is packed with secrets, lies, magic , vampires, time travel and so much more. Things aren’t always as they seem. This is a new author to me and I’m definitely going to be looking into what other books they have written. Their style of writing and attention to detail along with creative, yet strong developed characters make for a wonderful story. The characters bring the story to life and you feel as if you are right there with them. Can they have a happy ever after? Does destiny have something else in store for them? I highly recommend reading this book to find out what happens next. I look forward to reading more from this Author.

Well I am in heaven. My favorite genre is Paranormal romance and this book really hit the spot. I love vampire romances and to add more supernatural beings into the mix has really made this a great book for me. I love how there is the lost love second chance vibe to this book I really could not put this book down. The author has a great way of bringing the characters to life. I really felt as though I was there in the thick of all the drama occurring around them. I really look forward to reading more from this author and series. A Toast for Laurent is the first book in the Vine Valley series by Theresa Paolo. It is about small town second chance romance with twists, turns, friendships, romance and possible love. Of course, everyone knows that a love story needs some intrigue and drama…and Theresa Paolo didn’t disappoint in bringing that aspect into the story. We are introduced to Laurent and Phoebe, and the story takes us back to twenty years ago when they made a promise to marry each other if they were both still single when they reached forty. Unfortunately, Laurent finds himself heartbroken after a spicy night with Phoebe, and she disappears without a word! Even though Laurent is heartbroken, life goes on and he finds himself tending to the family grapevine and doesn’t think about love, then after all those years Phoebe is back! Phoebe has the intent on seeing her and Laurent’s pact through, but what does Laurent think of the plan, especially after the pain she caused. What happens next makes for a fun read that is hard to put down! I’m a sucker for a good book with love and drama! Theresa Paolo did a good job of making sure that you knew the backstory as well as what was currently going on, I didn’t feel like details were left out, she did a great job! This book is the first in a new series, so I will definitely be reading each new instalment as they release. Looking forward to A Thirst for Franc (Book #2). Happy Reading!

This is the third book that I’ve read by this author and she hasn’t disappointed me yet.
Mitch’s story stuch from me from the moment it started. This book was a hard one to put down, even long enough to grab a snack! It’s going to suck you in and keep it’s claws in you until the end…and maybe then some. This has a super suprise ending that I loved and I’m going to be disgesting this for awhile.
Mitch is an easy character to dislike. He’s incredibly narcissistic and his egotistical airs are stiffling to say the least. I didn’t really care for Emily though either. She should have been likeable to me but something about her didn’t set well with me. Normally I could say I had a favorite character but not in this book.
Prepare to just read this one straight through with no breaks. I can’t wait to see what else this author has in store!

I feel like I just took a mini tour of Israel by reading this book! The photography and the illustrations are very well done. It was neat to see some of the sites of Israel and to learn more about their significance.
This would be a great book to share with someone about to travel to Israel to give them a brief taste of what it will be like. It’s also great for someone like me who would like to travel but doesn’t.

The story follows Tessa, an impulsive author with commitment issues who meets Simon, a super-organised scientist who is eager to settle down. They’re both attracted to each other and decide to meet up every now and then in various places around the world until they inevitably fall for each other and each has to decide whether the other is worth giving up what they thought they always wanted. I liked this concept, but I didn’t get attached to the characters until halfway through the book. Neither of them seemed likeable at first, their relationship seemed awkward, it seemed to be purely about sex until the halfway point. At that point, you can see that they truly care for each other and are willing to sacrifice to make the relationship work. Of course, this is when everything changes. I was gripped when reading the second half, finding myself emotionally attached to the characters and not just Tessa and Simon, but Jacob, Riley, Liam, and Will, too. I recommend this book because whilst I didn’t get too attached to the romance aspect of this book – which is probably for personal reasons, and so a lot of readers will probably not agree with my opinion – the grief aspect had me in tears, and I could not put it down once I got to part two. I even cried through the acknowledgements. I also have to commend Anna’s ability to switch from past to present tense, and her portrayal of grief. I would love to read more about Riley and Jacob’s story. “Unfortunately, time is temporary. It passes. You have to live with what you have here and now. Contentment, acceptance—these things are hard to come by. But if you spend your life living in the past, you’ll never be able to truly appreciate the present.

Chester, just like every other kid, does not like or want to clean his room. Also like many children they have their imaginary friends. The mess makers, the one that hides things, the one that has yet to learn how to clean as they go. This story puts a fun twist on cleaning up. I have read many children’s stories from this author. She has taken a child job and made it fun. The story is to the point without leaving the child feeling bad or sad when it comes to cleaning up. She sets the mood and has a positive outcome. I love this story and it may have slipped on to my children’s story shelf.
Twisted Proposal is the wonderfully written story that centers around Sienna Maynard and Ethan Ashford. Ethan has been scorned by members of Sienna’s family. When Sienna and her brother Bart come to the Seven to get backing for her design company, Ethan wants to be sure to be in control. Sienna will not bow to Ethan’s “charms” but learns of his dark desires; while discovering her own. These characters draw you into their world of love, hate and deceit. Although this book is part of a series, I read it as a stand alone and was not disappointed.

I really enjoyed this book. It was a unique read to me. I haven’t read a book like this before. The author does an amazing job with the characters and their growth during the story. Erik and Kay both grow and evolve in different ways but in a beautiful way that brings them closer.
I don’t want to give to many details because I can’t want to spoil the story. It is a story about passion, learning to embrace the person you are. It is a dom/submissive relationship but what I loved is that its fluid and it is when Kay becomes the dominant force that really allows Erik to be free. There is so many twists and turns in this book that you wont see them coming and you will be constantly gripped. What happens when your abduction vacation turns into you falling for the kidnapper? What happens when the time you spent free and embracing your true sexual self ends up destroying everything you’ve worked for? What happens when you realise who the kidnapper is? And is there any chance of forgiveness for this couple.

This novella was both inspiring and defeating. With the actual history of this time period matching up with the brutality toward native people, it was heartbreaking to read about this warrior girl’s coming of age while the bluecoats close in on her village and the suffering of her people. But her resolve and immense strength in such dire circumstances was also inspiring and awe-striking. This is a hauntingly beautiful story that makes me want to read more about the people of this time. Looking forward to the next novella in this series!

I absolutely loved House of Arsceneaux by Caterina Novelliere! The characters were wonderful, the storyline was unpredictable and I could not put it down! Looking forward to reading more of her works! You will definitely enjoy this book- 10/10 recommend!

This is book 2 Ground Rules Series, it can be read as a stand-alone but it’s nice to have the other story. I loved Noah and Zara’s story. Zara is a confident career driven woman. As a sports agent she has a rule to never get involved with a man that plays sports. Noah, an all star sports player, who’s been in love with her since that night he rescued her from a fire. Their chemistry is strong, neither can deny it. Once they finally reconnect, sparks fly! Watching them learn to understand each other and themselves is was wonderful. I’m very excited for the next story in this series.

Shalom Israel by Melissa Lavi is a fun, illustrated ode to Israel. It is a bit of an adventure through Israel, in pictures and verse. The photographs contained in the book are beautifully captured and really bring Israel to ‘life’ on the pages. With illustrated characters immersed in every scene that help guide us on the ‘tour’. From beaches to deserts, farm gardens to the Dead Sea, the modern to the ancient- this book shows every colourful, historical, diverse, cultural, picturesque, and vibrant detail. This book was a fun read and I enjoyed reading it. It was a cute story that showed children that being different is not a bad thing. The story showed the whole town was able to come to an understanding of just how important Colleen’s dad was in maintaining their world. Grand Slam is the third book in the Ground Rule Series by Bree Kraemer. This is a sublime contemporary sports romance with a bit of an opposites attract element, drama, angst, chemistry, and emotion. As expected, this story made my heart feel every detail- experiencing every high and low right beside the characters as the story unfolded. Ms. Kraemer has a talent for heartfelt stories- and always manages to pack a lot of heart and soul into her books. While also crafting endearing characters you feel you ‘know’ and want to hang out with- even if they frustrate the death out of you from time to time. This is the third book in the series, but it can be read as a standalone. But having said that, I highly recommend reading the other books in the series as well because they are equally as good. I’m not sure if this third book is the final in the series, as there is no mention of a fourth book (yet). But I sure hope there is more coming… Happy reading.

Twisted Eros is the first book in the Modern Mythica series and debut novel by Aria Skylar. This is a retelling of the Eros and Psyche myth with a modern twist, some darker elements, plots, agendas, chemistry, sizzle, drama, angst, family, and more. Kay’s life revolves around business. She has no time for anything else. Her sisters practically force her to take some much-needed time off, suggesting an ‘abduction’ experience for some no-strings fun. But with the abduction comes plenty of unexpected twists for Kay- and things soon take a bit of a kinky, dramatic, and intriguing turn. I enjoyed reading the start to this new series which looks set to be both fun, and a little twisted. Looking forward to ‘Seducing Dionysus” (Book #2). Happy Reading…

Heath Bailey is a professional baseball player who first meets Grace Dyer while helping his friend and business manager, Zara, with a bachelor auction to benefit the animal shelter that Grace runs. At first, both Grace and Heath think that they hate the other person. Heath doesn’t like Grace because she’s bossy and he feels like she treats him like he’s stupid. She hates him because he is rich and she is afraid that he will look down on her. When Heath’s sister unexpectedly goes into labor on the weekend of her baby shower, it leaves Heath and Grace unexpectedly alone in her house, where both start to question their feelings for one another. When Heath adopts a dog from the shelter Grace runs, and unexpectedly rescues Grace from a set up for a date with a friend of her brothers (that she wants no part of) by pretending to be her boyfriend for a family dinner, the pair start to spend time together and sparks fly, despite Grace trying her hardest not to let that happen. There is plenty of steamy scenes, lots of heart and even a sweet dog (or more), and a guaranteed happily ever after.

Joe has just come back from a tour which devastated him and his teammates, when IED exploded all, he can see is his friend running toward the bomb to save them but also stop the depression with that fateful letter, Joe’s world is turned upside down.
Now, moved back home and running his families Landscaping business Joe leads a solitary life but when his colleague invites to the local pub, Joe is fed up of being on his own and decides to join him but when he meets the woman who ruined his friend and cause the devastation with made him take his own life, a plan of revenge creeps into Joe’s mind and Hunter becomes the hunted.
Hunter is lost in life, not quite sure where she is going but has the goal to get her son moved from her mother’s clutches to be with her. Although she is not one for relationships, the love them until they want more then she dismisses them and moves on, but when the tall, dark and Alpha walks into the bar her insides call to her to get to know this man, but when she finally gets to be with Joe will she be able to be the submissive woman he requires and needs.
This is the first story I have read by this author, and I enjoyed the book thoroughly, although at the beginning I found it tough to get into once over the initial couple of chapters it was intriguing and flowed well. I loved the character of Hunter, she was sassy and thought she knew who she was, although when Joe started introducing her to certain ways and behaviours her whole mind set needed to change and understood the need to be with Joe.
I always love a good, flawed character and Joe is another one to add to my pile, with his alpha male tendencies and the pure dominance he was great to read as a character. The relationship was lovely to watch as a slow burn and knowing the true reason at the beginning for the relationship was interesting to see the whole love blossom in the end. The ending of the story was brilliant, and I am glad they got there happy ending.
Can’t wait to read the next story and see the sexy Master Kurt’s story.

Arley has not had the best life so far, when that fateful night happened with her brother, she did not know how she was going to survive it literally but over time her body healed but not her heart, but when night she is kidnapped realising that this is not just a abduction but human trafficking she need to escape and get her life back.
Although escaping the nightmare, Arley may hold the key to stopping the cartel so she is moved to Orlando to hide, until one day she sees someone from her past who she thought had long gone or had forgotten her, but can she put him in danger or throw caution to the wind and let him in her world.
Kurt has always had a soft spot for Arley, as a kid in the neighbourhood he knew what was going on in the house of his best friend but with college Arley’s brother and Kurt drifted further apart until one night he did not recognise the man who just beat up his sister to an inch of her life. Losing track after all these year’s he is surprised to see her in his club. Since coming back from Afghanistan, he is not really interest in the lifestyle but when he sees her behind the bar, he starts to have feelings and wants her to be his. So, when she is in danger can he protect her at any costs.
I loved this story; Kurt had been so tempting in the first book and was glad to get to read his story. They had both suffered so much and just wanted there happy ending and I am so glad it came together in the end. Arley was a brilliant character to match with Kurt and reading their relationship and chemistry blossom and grow was wonderful and brilliant to read.
There are triggers within the story which some people may find hard to read but I feel this shows the strength of character that Arley was and that she needed a strong Alpha to care for her although she rebelled against it at every turn in the end it was a lovely relationship to discover. I can’t wait to read the next story and see which sexy Dom this relates to.

Ethan then hatches a plan to seek revenge on the innocent Siena, but when he is inflicting his plan, he does not imagine that she will crawl under his skin and plant herself in his heart.
Siena is just looking for investors when her cousin Joyce invested some money, she was hoping the other half would come from her brother but when she finds out he is broke and owes people monies she is doomed until he walks in and offers a proposition to solve all her problems but the only thing is can she give herself fully to Ethan and become his sub for money.
Ethan has popped up in the other books along the way and I am so glad you get to see him in his full story. Ethan to me has always been coasting along the way not really finding that someone he can totally open to, but seeing how the relationship between the two of them grows from Enemies to lovers is lovely to read. The overall struggle of Ethan in the end to try and reconcile the way he wanted to use her to then understand the feelings for her was brilliant.
I really can’t wait to read the next book.
