Check your trigger warnings before reading. ** Trigger warning: This book contains descriptions of self-harm and related issues. ** This book takes place 5 years after Julia betrays her Ka-tet. Her relationships are in shambles and no one wants anything to do with her. This sends her down a dark path of self-harm. Everyone thinks she is losing her mind and she isn’t so sure they are not right. When she tries to return to their leader only to find out he has left she seeks out Matthew as a last resort. Matthew is less then pleased she has showed up when he has been building a new life for himself. But when they realize something darker is going on they must discover the truth before it is to late. You will not want to put this one down. 4 out of 5 stars.
