P.J. Manns’ Leaving no traces is set in Italy. It follows Detective Scala through the disappearance of Simona Ribisi. After Simona’s car is found empty at a gas station with blood spatter in it, Scala is called due his leadership role in the Anti-crime division. Getting this case sent Scala into a many month investigation. Discovering Simona’s affair, Scala learns how good people are at hiding the truth. He begins to learn the the family involved at the root is nothing to be messed with, that for them anything for the family really means anything.
You shouldn’t have an affair, but if you do, you should be cautious of who the family is behind the man you chose.
