A Death on Fools Lane (An Eve Sawyer Mystery) by Jane Suen – Review by Heidi Sturgess

A Death on Fools Lane (Eve Sawyer Mystery #4)A Death on Fools Lane by Jane Suen
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

This is book #4 in the series and while I didn’t feel too lost not having read the previous books I highly recommend that you do , you’re doing yourself , the author and the characters an injustice by not doing so 🥰📚

We start off by meeting Max and Rodriquez .These 2 share a special bond and they worked together in the police police force , they’re now enjoying their retirement. Max is a German Shepherd , clever and well trained as a sniffer and cadaver dog . Rodriquez was his handler . On their morning walk Max makes a shocking discovery…..

Cassie and friends head out to house sit for her aunt on Fools Lane in Briar Hills , what can happen , it’s a small town with a low crime rate but remember all is not as it seems ….especially when you get woken up to police knocking at your door🤫🧐🤨and then the grizzly discovery in the back yard 🫣

It would seem the man who died knew Cassie’s aunt and he has a sad story but they shared a special friendship , it really made me sad reading this and I just wanted justice for dear Mead and his mum 😢

Madison surprised me I’ll be honest , I didn’t see that one coming and there was more to follow , death has never been so sad for me ….

P.S. Max and Rodriquez also got the praise they deserve , thank you for your service 🐾🥰
