I have read a few books by this wonderful author now and I have to say not a single one has ever disappointed me in any way. They truly just keep getting better and better. She always creates such wonderful, relatable characters and storylines that keep y0u turning page after page. I simply love her style! This particular book brings us the story of Ethan and Olivia and as you would expect their path to love is not smooth or easy! These characters weaved their way straight into my heart where I am sure they will stay for a long time.

This amazing series follows the band Balefire and brings with it wonderful characters, fun storylines and of course loads of sex and rock ‘n’ roll. This particular book is Dakota and Annabelle’s story and it will pull you in and keep you hooked. There is one character I really hate right now and I so hope Karma catches up with him somewhere in the next books of the series. Even though these are written as standalones I would read right from the start just to have things flow better for you. You won’t regret it I promise you!!

Winter Austin’s series The McIntire County Series is well written and keeps me on the edge, making me wonder what will happen next. I really like seeing and learning more about the characters and how they get incorporated and grow in this second book. It also continues to show a strong female character in Deputy Cassy and her struggle with PTSD. The book has danger, suspense, romance, and so much more. The author does a wonderful job of character and world building.

Hoodoo, Texas, a town overflowing with vampires, root workers, werewolves, and… me. Folks may tolerate my Thor hand, the daily chats with spirits, and general crankiness. But last night’s monstrous makeover might finally be a step too far.
My new boyfriend is sexy as sin, keeping more secrets than a politician, and is moving his non-human behind into my haunted Victorian mansion. Of course, he blames the new living arrangement on someone wanting me dead—again.
What can I say? It’s a gift.
When my estranged father comes to town, things get dicier. He’s not only a deadbeat but a freaking storm deity who prefers revenge over a loving reunion. And get this – he issued the mother of ultimatums: either I murder my boyfriend or Hoodoo, Texas will be destroyed.
Agau may be a god, but he’s not the boss of me.
Can a menopausal monster save a small town from destruction without losing the sexy boyfriend and the re-vamped love of her family and friends? Find out in Mystical Midlife Mate. Fans of Darynda Jones, Patricia Briggs, and K.F. Breene will love the Boudin, Barbecue, and Hoodoo series.
Join Bella, a ray of pure sunshine and an avid steamy romance reader, while she searches for Mr. Right.
Mr. Wimp is the beginning of her story, as she splits from her husband. After twelve years together, Bella never thought she’d be back in the dating pool. She quickly realizes how much of herself was lost in her relationship with her ex.
The human mating site isn’t so bad, if all you want is some fun to gain your confidence back. Hell, Bella can even act out some of the scenes in the spicy romance books she has read! Online dating is full of amusing plot twists and sexy fun. Bella soon learns that becoming single in your thirties has never been so sexually liberating.
The series will consist of 13 novellas, with 13 different Mr. Right Now’s (that include plenty of grumpy, sexy, witty and alpha men), and will be released monthly.

Shadow’s Fall is the third book in the Shadowstalker series by Natalie Johanson. The first being Shadow’s voice and second is Shadow’s past. I made the mistake of reading this one first so i was a little lost, but have no doubt I will be going back to read the first two then will most likely reread this one. This is my first time reading a book by this author and even though I started on this one I was still super impressed with her writing style and loved this imaginative story. It was a dark fantasy book with strong emotions, magic, crazy good action, romance, and many secrets. I really enjoyed Rose. She was a real Kick ass, take names later kind a girl and I lovvvve it I already can’t wait to read the next installment of this Shadowstalker series after being left with this cliffhanger 😣

This was a good 4 star read. Rockstar romance is one of my top favorite genres and I really enjoyed this one. Annabelle and Dakota had a night of fun, but for some reason he just couldn’t shake her. Of course fate brings them together at a wedding and old feelings stir up. With another twist of fate Annabelle finds herself working with the band. Will she be able to resist him and do her job?
Overall this was a good read. The author does a great job with her writing and pulls you right in. All of the characters added a great element to the story. I look forward to reading more from this author. 1-click and get started today.

3.5/5 stars I didn’t love or hate this book. I thought it was an interesting take a common thing that women go through. It was hard for me to take Rebecca seriously in the beginning but I pushed through and she was okay at the end.

Will I ever tire of this series? The answer is a resounding NO. I have loved each and every book in the Hidden Valley Elite series, and somehow each one keeps me on my toes and excited for what’s to come! I was immediately caught up in Phoenix and Aspen’s back and forth verbal jabs, and the unplanned pregnancy added a whole different level of tension to their story. The flow of this book was flawless which makes it that much easier to get lost in this alternate reality. Don’t miss out on this wonderful addition to the series or you’ll kick yourself later. I can’t wait to see what this author has in store for us next!

4/5 stars I read the first book so I was familiar with the characters. I did enjoy this book better than the first which usually doesn’t happen often. I applaud the author for touching on a topic that doesn’t get much attention. I did like that the series continued with its focus on Rebecca and Kyle instead of switching it up.

This series has a huge grip on me! I truly love the way the author writes. You MUST read Cruel Start before this! This book in particular we are focusing on Aspen and Phoenix. Their growth is something I truly have loved so far!

Although this book ended up being something completely different than I expected, it ended up being a very interesting read. It definitely covers a lot of topics and some being very touchy and deeply sensitive. but yet they need to be talked about more. It is fast paced and a quick read. It is also the second book in the series Bold Journeys it did well as a stand-alone.

Rose, being the newly appointed Chief of her clan, is still trying to figure things out. Her new position of authority, her powers, being reunited with her mother that abandoned her at a young age, and the tether to King Micah. On top of all of that, Gerik, (who I am assuming is the big bad in the previous books) alluded the King and his troops in search of a myth deep in the desert. When Rose finds out, she instantly decides to find Gerik and stop him. She is not going to let him hurt anyone else she cares about. With a crash course on how to travel in the shadows, she sets off.
Meanwhile, King Micah travels home and does not get the welcome he was looking for. Instead of being welcomed with praise and opened arms, he is welcomed by citizens being angry at one thing or another and a group of religious people who hate all magic users. Micah has to figure out how to make everyone happy.
This book is the third book in the Shadowstalker series and although I read it as a stand alone, I highly suggest going back and reading the first two. The book seems to be starting off right after the previous one so I was a bit lost with who’s who and what’s what. Fortunately the book is detailed enough that the book was still enjoyable without reading the previous books. The author does a good job in world building and at times felt like I was there. As the book goes on, it becomes packed with action and excitement. Get prepared to fall in love with the series and impatiently wait for the next installment to come out.

THAT LAST CHAPTER?? WHAT? WHY? I can’t even handle it! 😭😭 I’m so stressed right now and I need the next book, STAT! As I’ve said in my previous reviews on the other books in this series, THEY ARE MY ABSOLUTE FAVORITE!! Every single book has been phenomenal and I’m obsessed with them. The emotions I feel with these books are out of this world. One minute I’m laughing and in love then the next I’m angry and crying. The author is easily one of my favorites because of this series! If you want a great story, with twists and turns, drama, jealousy, angst…read this! You’ll fall in love too!!!

This was significantly better than the book before it Cruel Start. I was very hesitant to read this after my feelings for the first book but I was pleasantly surprised that I enjoyed it with a few things bugging me! There were some parts that seemed dragged out and forced but overall it was a fun easy read.

4 out of 5 stars
I find myself enjoying everything I read from Isla Vaughn and this book is not the exception. The story draw me from the start and it didn’t disappoint. This story is a great addition to the series. I’m looking forward to the next one. Definitely recommend this book and all the previous ones in the series.

This is an author that I have enjoyed reading from the first book I picked up. This book is part of a series that has strong women and maybe even a little broken. I highly suggest reading the other books in this series to help your enjoyment of this author’s writing skills and characters. This is one of my favorite stories yet in this series. I found it to be well written and hard to put down. It is a romance story that is full of drama and keeps me engaged to the end. I enjoyed how the author used details to make the story realistic and really just pop. The characters are not only connectable but determined and well rounded. There is great growth with them as well as the plot which made the story easy to read. This is a story you don’t want to miss out on for sure. It is a must read that I highly recommend.
I gravitated towards this story since the moment I read the blurb. I enjoyed reading and it and was pleased with the way it ended. I believe that the seriousness of the subject was well delivered. The characters are develop in a good way and the author did a good job not falling too hard in to cliches. Overall a good book to read

I LOVE this one! It easily kept me reading late into the night! The story entertained me and the characters are wonderfully done. Watching Annabelle and Dakota come together is phenomenal! Dakota is a rock star with a large sexual appetite as expected but when he is with Annabelle we really see a different side of him. His nickname(s) for her are beautiful and not run of the mill. Watching him with her family is so fun! Annabelle is a previous groupie who now has a job with the band. She is as smart as she is sexy and fits him and his wildness to a T. Again her families response to him was awesome!
Most favorite scene: I love the way the author describes the band members coming out on stage for their concert! I was in awe! I absolutely felt like I was there! Not with the throwing of panties and bras but giving me chills because I could feel the excitement just like the characters! Well Done!
There were a few touched on moments near the end that I wish as the reader they would have been shown to us and not just heard snippets from another character. Maybe a few less tour show explanations could have replaced with those scenes. I fell that would have closed out that storyline (Garrett).
It definitely will be going on my re-read pile as it is delicious! I really loved every second and eagerly look forward to Tron’s story.

This is quite the story! Full of passion, drama and suspense. I enjoyed meeting all of these characters. They made me laugh, be shocked and…I had a few surprises. I did not read the first book in the series and had no problems following along with this one. I have read one author before but not the other. The story moves along at a quicker pace and is easy to read.
I did not like that there are secrets in here that seemed to be mentioned (a lot) but they never told me (the reader), mentioned it in their thoughts (other then “the secret”) or told the other character. I got tired of that and by the end when it finally came out..I did mot care what it was. I think because it was mentioned too much with no explanation.

This book may cause triggers for some. WOW! The next instalment of the Devil’s Handmaidens MC: Timber-Ghost, Montana Chapter series is here! Vixen is the fourth great addition. Each book just keeps on getting better and better. They can be read as standalones, but I encourage you to start at the beginning because you will be missing out. I absolutely love this series and have fallen in love with these wonderful strong, kicka*$e yet flawed and broken women that are a tight knit community, they are family not of blood. DM has cleverly weaved the good the bad and the ugly that is yet again dark, gritty and raw. Vixen is just as much a captivating and gripping read as the other books. Vixen only just managed to survive her past of horrors now it is that past that is threatening to unravel everything she has found. Having been a victim of human trafficking, abuse, and trauma it is that one place that she never wanted to go to again. However, to help a friend escape the horrors she will. Will she be able to trust the one who broke her heart. When Ironside is called will he let her go back to that awful place by herself? Will he stand right beside the women he loves? Will he be the one she leans on? Vixen is an emotionally charged journey that is full of turmoil, secrets, lies, danger, action, suspense, drama, angst, and tension. I can’t wait for more of this series. I can’t say enough about D.M.’s exceptional storytelling and absolutely amazing characters. Download it today and hang on for the bumpy ride.
This is a brilliant historical romance that has so much going on. I thought the characters were perfectly matched. There was such as tug and pull with them and their connection was undeniable. This is a little different to most other historical romances that I have read, and that made it such a refreshing read. I was engaged with story and loved watching it all unfold. This is a great addition to the series as a whole. The author has a fantastic writing style that drew me in immediately. As a genre I tend to dip in and out of, it is books like this that keep me coming back. I loved this book and cannot wait for more.

This book is a brilliant overview of nuclear weapons and the impact they have had over the course of history. It is and insightful and interesting book that offers a great perspective. This isn’t usually the type of book that I would go for, but something about it caught my eye and I couldn’t wait to delve into it. The author has done a great job of splitting the subject up into manageable sections. The initial section was invaluable with the physics refresher it offered. I think it made the whole book much more understandable and easy to digest. This was a different book to my normal go to but I would definitely recommend it.

Millersville has become rampant with protesters. Violet, after working for Chaos (read Cabin Eight), decided to open her own security business. When she snags her first client, everything seems on the right tract. However, after a protest about the company she was hired to protect becomes way bigger than anyone thought, she finds herself in hot water. After reading Cabin Eight, I decided to get Susan Specht Oram a second chance. I’m glad I did. short chapters, easy to get into, and the great world building of Millersville has me wanting to read all the other Millersville saga. Millersville may be a small town, but it’s action packed.

This book as just as great as the others. You do need to read the prequel first. Aspen finds out that she is pregnant after one night stand with Phoenix. He wants to do right by her but he also loves playing football. There is a lot of back and forth but they are also growing. I cannot wait to read the next book.

This was a really good book. Aspen is the new girl in town. She gets an invite to a beach party. She meets the hottest guy she has ever seen. When she throws caution to the wind and a wild night of passion that quickly turns into taking a pregnancy test. Will he stick around and be the daddy his baby on the way?
I adored this book entirely! I tend to devour books I love much too fast for my own good lol but I just did not want this one to end! The characters were wonderful & the self discovery was superb. I truly, truly loved witnessing Arryn realize her own strength & find happiness in her own power. My heart dropped over Rowan & his very relatable angst a couple of times, but I am relieved this was a baby roller coaster instead of the Demon or something lol enough to be an exciting ride without sending me into fits of despair like certain other books I’d need a trigger warning to mention! It was great to see so many fair & just figures in power. This is such beautiful, sweet, & sexy love story. & the chapter titles are to die for!! I was excited for every new chapter name & LOVED finding them in the story. A+++ , valedictorian GPA , top of the class book, truly.
My mind was blown in so many ways in this book. I do not have much that will cause triggers but this story was an eye opener. There were certain sections of the book that broke my heart and tore me apart.
Vixen is our main character, she has survived abuse of all kinds, including being forced into drugs. With the help of her MC sisters she has been saved from abuse and has been straight for a while now. Her past is coming the BANG on the door and hard. When a girl from her past calls for help, things get complicated for her and the MC. This call puts everyone’s life at risk.
Lucas is an undercover FBI agent who helped get Vixon away from “Juice”. The worst of the worst. When he gets a call to head to Montana, he doesn’t think twice.
Please check trigger warnings before reading this phenomenal book. The author takes you on a ride you will never forget.
Big fan of Isla Vaughn and the way her prose and world building draws you right in. I personally have trouble remembering sometimes that these students are in high school and early college, but to be fair I have never been an elite member of anything, been a con artist, Olympic level diver, NFL level football player, or anything else the rest of the characters deal with in this series. Regardless, as far as any type of “complaint”, that’s probably it.
Phoenix and Aspen are from different places in life. Phoenix has made it to college alongside his cousins and is leading the Thane University football team as the star QB as a freshman. He meets Aspen and neither are fans of the other. After a fling, Aspen finds herself pregnant. While neither are happy with the situation, they both have things happening that would be easier if they presented themselves as a couple. In the midst of pretending to be together, they both develop feelings they refuse to acknowledge or communicate about. There’s a lot of very immature ways to handle things between them, but the chemistry, fear, angst, confusion and so many other emotions keep you enthralled through the read.
