Vixen by D.M. Earl

Vixen by D.M. Earl is about the backstory on Vixen, who fell for the con of a man. Everything was good until her life was flipped upside down. This is also a slow burn romance where she reconnects with Lucas after he ghosted her 5 years after saving her life. Question is do they figure it all out and crack the FBI case that’s been going on for almost a decade? Does Vixens past finally reach her? Only one way to find out, read it.

Vixens story is truly heartbreaking, along with her fellow sisters but this story by far just hit a way more sensitive spot in me. At the end of the book I cried and read over a certain chapter twice just so I could fully wrap my head around it. Lucas coming in to her life was the best thing for what they were about to go through together. To be frank it was honestly different to see one of the Devils Handmaidens sit a task out that involved her but also refreshing. Not everyone can make themselves feel empty like Shadow can to get the task done. I give these women so many props for being as strong as they are as im sure some of this can’t be easy to write about. Over all a 5 star book.
