This has to be one of the best mystery I’ve read this year. Birdie, Oda Mae, and Walter the Ghost made this absolutely hilarious. I could picture them in my head which made this book turn into my own show. Birdie makes such a fun southern detective. I pictured her like a dog with a bone. Once she latched on to a mystery, she was on it until she solved it. So what if she’s a little bit of a hoarder? She has other things to take care of. The writing is fantastic. I was so engaged right from the start. You can’t help it. You feel like these ladies could be your elderly aunts causing a ruckus and inviting you along. A fantastic start to a series that I can’t wait to read more of.
