What a fun and enjoyable cozy mystery and I love that the characters trying to solve the mystery. Dumpster Dying is Book 1 in the Hazardous Hoarding Mystery and the author is also new to me. I was intrigued by the snyposis and cover of the book so I decided to dive right in.

Birdie and her sister Oda Jean have a love for a good bargain when yard sales call their names….especially knowing that Birdie also has a fascination of dumpster diving and a little bit of hoarding. When Birdie befriends a young lady name Jenna, Birdie loves to visit the convenient store that Jenna works at. Jenna ends up going missing one day with no clues to what happened, Birdie will stop at nothing to try and find her friend. With Birdie’s late husband haunting her a bit and her sister Oda Jean trying to clear out her house room by room that is a little overrun by bargain treasures…will Birdie find a out any truths the Jenna’s disappearance?

This is a really great read and I enjoyed the characters especially Birdie, she has my heartstrings.
I am already looking forward to more in this series and from the author!
