Out of Bounds is the second book in the Game Time Series by Tam DeRudder Jackson. It is a great addition to this series of steamy NA sports romances. This is Wyatt and Piper’s story about finding love unexpectedly. This opposites attract romance had plenty to keep me engrossed, from emotion and angst, to sizzling chemistry and spicy encounters- there’s lots of fun and witty banter to keep things entertaining too. Piper has sworn off romance, especially with football players – while Wyatt is talented in more ways than one. He’s used to winning, but can he win this girl’s heart? What happens makes for a captivating read. Happy Reading…

I am absolutely speechless after reading this book! I have enjoyed each book from this author, but this is definitely my favorite thus far! While this MMF read has plenty of steam and spiciness throughout the story, the author has also crafted a marvelous plot and well-developed characters as well. I giggled out loud at this book, but also felt like throwing it in anger at some points. The three main characters, Weston, Callum, and Petra are incredibly loveable and people you feel like would be great friends in real life. I’m also a dog lover, so obviously the fact that dogs are sprinkled throughout the book help a bit. There are a couple of characters that I have no lost love for, but they are minor and play their part well. I absolutely love the fact that the story is told from multiple points of view as you get a better feel for each character as they speak their mind. I highly recommend this book if you love spicy romances in the MMF genre! I can’t wait to see what the author has in store for us next!
Dancing Butterfly is the second book in the Butterflies Fly Free Series. This one follows Suki that we met for a short time in book 1, although it is something of a prequel as well. While in book 1, Suki was already with Frank, in book 2 it shows their meeting and the beginning of their relationship. This was an easy read and enjoyable, light on the spice so would be appropriate for YA. I do love books that take a unique time period and bring it to life and this series does that well.
A Miracle In Muffin: A True Story was a sweet story about finding a missing kitten thought lost forever and finding salvation. This book is meant to be a children’s story; however, it does read a little too advanced or mature for younger children and I feel would be too “kiddish” for older children. I’m honestly not sure what age category this would fall into. It’s a sweet story and an easy read.

Harper and Gabe had their whole life planned out. From high school graduation to college to marriage and kids but when tragedy struck Harper’s family her whole world was shattered and destroyed. Little did Harper realize that the death of her parents would also be the life change that would destroy her in many more ways than just losing her parents. Over a decade passes with no contact between Harper and Gabe but with the death of his parents six months earlier and the possibility that Gabe could be in trouble, Harper could not chance Gabe dying also. This is another phenomenal book written by this author. I love everything I have read she has written.

Seal Gray loves playing with his beach ball but when the ball runs amuck and does some damage to his friends activities he lies about what happened. What happens when he decides to tell the truth?
Good moral lesson story. The vibrancy of the illustrations are beautiful in this book. If you follow the adventures of Cray on the Bray, this another wonderful story in the series.

Apparently, there is “a smell of mystery in the air” and Grandma is determined to find out what it is. So much so that she has bought Hildegarde in to help. It is a fun, mystery tale where everything is not as it seems. It is 180 pages of adventure and entertainment. The Reluctant Spy by Lois Wickstrom is aimed for children aged 7 – 12 years. What secrets does Timmy’s family hold? How does Grandma know what she knows? Can you actually smell mystery? Can you train a rat to be a spy? Who or What is Hildegarde? Where are Timmy’s parents? These are all very good questions which will be revealed as you sit and read this story.
This is the 3rd book in the Hamilton Steelhawks series. These books can be read as standalones because I read this one first however I will definitely be going back to read the books that came before. These are a sports romance based around an ice hockey team. The authors knowledge of the game and how it all works really gives the reader an insight into that life both on and off the ice. This is Colby and Gabriella’s story. This couple have history which I didn’t understand but I think reading the first 2 books would have explained that. Neither of them are the type to want commitment but neither of them can deny the strong attraction and chemistry between them. After a couple of encounters could there be something more between them or is it just sexual chemistry messing with their heads. Both Colby and Gabriella aren’t prepared to open themselves up to potential heartbreak so they keep their distance from each other. However that all changes when their best friends decide to get married. With Colby as best man and Gabriella as maid of honour can they put their differences and rising sexual chemistry aside to keep it from spoiling their friends wedding or will being in close proximity to each other for too long bring all the things they have been trying to surpess to the surface? Will they keep it together for the sake of their friends wedding? Will the chemistry combust and ruin everything? And what will happen if they give into temptation and the feelings instead of running away. This was a really captivating read and I can’t wait till read more of this series.

When nothing goes right, opportunity can come knocking and that is exactly what happens when a job advertisement somewhere called “Forbidden Island” come up, there isn’t much detail, however, one particular woman finds that she meets all the criteria and before you know it, she is surrounded by sun, sea, sand and gorgeous men.
The only thing wrong, or at least, the only thing that doesn’t quite fit is the rule of everyone wearing masks on a night, but that doesn’t stop the rising desires which the six Casanova’s bring out, but beneath the perfect façade there is a mystery to be unravelled which is just as tantalising as the men.
Who are these mysterious hotties, are they the owners of the island, or are they other employees, and what is the mystery surrounding them? This is a hot and heavy paranormal romance where nothing is as it seems, mystery surrounds everyone and everything, but figuring it all out is as addictive as the spice within.

This is a very cute story for children to own up to their responsibilities even if things do not go right. Cray the seal loves to blay beachball. The beachball spins out of control and causes inconvenience to few of his friends. Cray initially lies that it was not his ball but later a blame game starts and things get out of control. Cray steps up and owns up his mistake which makes him a very brave seal. The rhymes are simple and meaningful and illustrations are really nice. I would recommend this book to all kids.

Everything was perfect until it was all gone. Anise Storm I truly love your work and your incredible talent. This is the first book in a new series, Titans of Chicago. Dual perspectives of Harper Grimes and Gabriel Blake. Harper and Gabriel are the children of Titans, and he will become one as he gets older. They have been in love their entire lives and have had every detail of their future together planned out. Until…a car “accident” wipes it all away. With her parents gone her only living relative is her mom’s brother, George. The night she is given the devastating news she loses everything and everyone she ever loved when he takes her to Portland. Instantly she is living in hell and the moments of feeling loved and cherished are gone. Nearly ten years passed, and she never stopped loving the boy she left behind, her soulmate. Gabriel never considered life without her at his side, they were soulmates and had everything planned. She was gone and had broken his heart, but even after nearly a decade he still couldn’t hate her, he loved her and always would. Another accident following her questioning where her inheritance was, and she found herself terrified for Gabriel so much so she did the only thing she could. She flew to Chicago to force him to listen to her warnings, he was in danger. Quickly finding her wildest dreams coming true, she was back in his arms, the threat remained and the truth of everything would shatter her beliefs. What was the true cause of the accident? Can she ever see the truth of who deserved her blame and let go of her fears? Gabriel never could love another, is she truly his again, for good this time? The world was honest and cruel, no shiny knight to rush in at the last moment and save the day. Though there was a man who loved her and against all odds refused to let her disappear from his life again. The journey of the characters overcoming trauma, learning, and accepting the truth, they never stopped fighting for the love they held for the other. I cannot wait for book two and curious to know which Titan will be next, perhaps Daxon and Charlie?

5 Stars Bailey and the CEO: A Corporate Love Story (A Better Man, Book 1) by Amy Q. Barker
Bailey and the CEO: A Corporate Love Story is the first book in the A Better Man Series. This is a wonderfully written Women’s Fiction sweet romance that I absolutely loved reading. This is a fairly new author to me and I’m definitely a fan. Her style of writing and attention to detail along with fully developed, complex , yet relatable characters make for an epic story. Let me just say how beautiful and relaxing the cover is I could sit there for hours staring out across that pond. Bailey is a strong independent woman who is the VP of Quality ,a widow and raising two teenage daughters. Bailey is good at her job she pours her heart and soul into it. She feels like she is missing something but not sure she’s ready for dating or has the time until Fox and their evening together. Fox is a divorced man raising two teenage boys and the CEO of Havelin. He notices Bailey and how beautiful and smart she is but when a plane ride together and him asking her out things definitely going to change. These two have a lot in common and their romance is sweet . Being in a relationship with the CEO is more complicated than one might think. I highly recommend reading this book to find out what happens next. Im looking forward to reading more from this Author.

Another amazing Titans story from this author! New city, new titans, new badazz FMC.
Harper and Gabriel grew up knowing that they were each other’s. There were only a handful of times they were apart. They shared their first kiss at seven. Harper fought her way back into the group when Gabriel didn’t want the girl hanging with the boys anymore at 10. Gabriel and Harper shared many first along the way. It was just the way it was until the unthinkable happened.
Harper was 16, almost 17, when her parents died in a car accident. Harper was ripped out of her life in Chicago and forced to move with her uncle to Portland, Oregon. He was the only family she had left. Her uncle was not a nice man. His son, Jayson, was worse. They made Harper’s life a living hell. Not wanting to drag down Gabriel, and too ashamed of what was happening to her to tell him what was going on, Harper broke Gabriel’s heart shortly after moving to Portland.
Gabriel was never the same after Harper dumped him. He claimed that he hated her but deep down that was just covering his hurt and love for her. When she calls him out of the blue nearly a decade after she destroyed him, he lashes out and blows off her call. When she shows up at a charity auction and buys a date with him, he is cruel and a complete and an utter jerk towards her. His cruel words drive Harper away but she never gives up trying to protect him.
Harper believes that Gabriel’s life is in danger because she started to investigate what happened to her inheritance. Knowing that Gabriel hated her, Harper does her best to get him to listen. He refuses. Harper tries to protect him all on her own and winds up getting kidnapped. Gabriel is tempted to ignore Harper’s pleas for help when they come in but he listens to the better angels, and helps Harper. He realizes that all of Harper’s actions were not trying to get back in his life but because there was real danger.
When this danger is neutralized, Gabriel convinces Harper that they are safe. When Harper heads back to Portland to wrap up her business there and pack to relocate back to Chicago, Harper finds out that she is still in danger. Will Gabriel find out? Will he be able to save her this time?
Stellar opening to the series. Can’t go wrong with a Titans book.

Why did Tad (Janie’s ex-husband) turn up suddenly? What happened to him? Why did so many people have a reason to want him gone? These questions and many more weave throughout this page-turner that keeps you guessing as more of the story (and Tad’s history) unravel and Christy attempts to put the clues together. Although this is book 2 of a series, I haven’t read book 1 and was still fine to read this one as a standalone. That being said, I will plan to go back and read more from this series and this author!

Watch Hildegarde, the rat, do her best to save the day.
Lois Wickstrom lives in a world where imaginary playmates are real. She doesn’t remember being born, so she finds unbirthdays are more exciting than the official once-a-year date on the calendar. She’s taken so many science classes that she believes science is the solution to almost every problem, including the dilemmas in fairy tales.
This was a beautifully written book about not only finding family that will accept you but new experiences. Take Lachlan “Lanny” for example. He not only got to act in his first play but he learned all about polycules and what it means to be poly. I have to admit the polycule was a new term for me.
Molly is a playwright. She is attempting to earn her MFA, all she has to do is have a successful play. She needs the perfect leading man. She hasn’t found him yet until her girlfriend, Poe, suggests someone new. Poe pushes the maintenance guy working in her building to audition for Molly’s play. He is perfect. He even has no problem with the accent.
Lachlan is surprised when someone approaches him about helping out with a play. Lachlan figures they need a set built or something, since that is what he does. When he gets there, it turns out that the director, a beautiful curvy woman he has an immediate attraction to, is looking for a leading actor that can pull off a Scottish accent. Luckily for Lachlan, the accent is built in since he is Scottish! Willing to give it a chance, Lachlan says yes.
As Molly and Lachlan spend more time together turning him into an actor, the more their mutual attraction builds. This leads to problems for Molly because she has not dated a man in nearly a decade. Also, Molly is dating Poe and although they have an open relationship, Molly has not been with anyone else since starting to date Poe. Molly fights the internal battles of the attraction to Lachlan and her fears that Poe is pulling away. This is Lachlan’s first experience with polyamory. He has to adjust.
Adding to the drama is Molly’s sister’s wedding. Molly’s family is devout Evangelical Christian and does not approve of her lifestyle or so she thinks. Molly wants to take Poe to the wedding as her date but doesn’t want to upset her pastor father, who holds the purse strings to her trust fund that is paying for her education.
As the tensions boil, Molly, Poe, and Lachlan all have to confront their feelings for each other and learn how to navigate the situation. The way the polycule supports Molly and Poe is a wonderful thing. Cynda’s insight is instrumental in helping build bridges. If nothing else, this story proves that love is not always one dimensional. You can love different people at the same time, equally but differently. This wonderful story also taught me some new vocabulary.
Polyamory and open relationships may not be your bag, however, understanding the dynamics allows one to gain knowledge regarding the lifestyle. Wonderfully written.

Carrie and her grandma have a special bond. The biggest part of this is their love for adventure and their unstoppable imaginations. Here is yet another example of this. Captivating illustrations and an awesome adventure that will thrill any kid. I love the stories this author creates.
Dirty Heartbreaker is my favorite book so far in this series! A hockey romance with so much love, passion, and turmoil it keeps the reader turning the page. The author once again sucks the reader into this world where truly desirable women are few and the men on the hockey team can’t distinguish what’s in front of them. Colby and Gabby met on a whim. Immediate passion left her to wake up alone in the bed without Colby to wake up too. Second chance meeting was no different but this time instead of Gabby waking up alone it was Colby. Third time the charm? It’s actually worse! They need to play nice as the best man and maid of honor in their friend’s wedding; they have no choice. Neither wants to ruin their big day. However, ignoring what’s between them isn’t easy. Especially when it’s driven more so by defiance vs compliance. Will it work, can they play nice? Well you know these books don’t come without some groveling, but it’s the matter of what happens to get to that point. I love a good sports romance. And this book and series don’t disappoint. Each one being about different teammates and supporting characters these books read well as a standalone novel as well as a series. My suggestion read them all!

All the characters were well developed and great personalities. Full of mystery, action, Food, suspense, humor, adventure and who can resist some pirates. The history and the great recommendations of where to go and what to do on my next trip, a long-awaited trip to New Orleans. I absolutely recommend this book.

Bailey is juggling her dedication to her work and being a single parent to two girls. She goes with the flow and does her best, even when she feels she is lacking. A chance moment though has Bailey on a plane with Fox Goodman, her companies CEO.
Fox Goodman can’t say he has never noticed Bailey, she is stunningly beautiful. Being next to her on a plane he takes the chance to get to know her and he likes everything they discuss. Fox being the father of two boys he understands more than most how she feels juggling work and family. Taking a chance he asks her out and she accepts, with so many obstacles in their path will they be able to find their happiness?
I truly enjoyed this book. I felt like a bystander watching these wonderful characters fall for one another. Bailey was such an intriguing character and I loved the way she was with Fox. Fox who has a ton of self confidence is somewhat awkward with Bailey in a really sweet way. The kids, I liked that they were a big part of the story and that they had unique personalities. Will be reading more from this author.

I was thrilled to get to read the second installment in this series. I greatly enjoyed the first book, so getting to read this story was fantastic! I enjoyed getting to know Suki better and it was great to see her perspective of meeting Bethany, who was the main character in the first book. Suki is a great character and her relationship with Frank was electrifying and fast paced. The author does a great job of really transporting you back into the 1920’s and immersing you in the gangster and flapper lifestyle. Suki is a dancer who gets injured during a firefight and Frank comes to her rescue and then steps in when she can’t dance and pay her bills. Unfortunately he puts a lot of restrictions on her, which as an independent woman, Suki chaffs at. The author does a great job of drawing you in and creating characters you really care about and want to see succeed. This is definitely a great series that I highly recommend! I can’t wait for the next book in the series.
Dark Sky at Dawn is the first book in the Free Men and Dreamers series. This story follows Jed Pearson and Hannah Stansbury during the days of the War of 1812. This historical fiction gives a lot of historical facts intertwined with a lot of intriguing fiction. The plot was well-crafted and made me feel as if I were watching a movie. There is so much detail and knowledge poured into the story. The characters are complex. The author navigates our nation’s complicated history very well. This story was very informative and engaging.

This is my first read from Maria Jane. I enjoyed the story. It’s sometimes hit or miss when talking about a 3rd Person POV, but this wasn’t bad. I enjoyed the dynamic between the characters. The story flows well and the ending was nice. This was a quick read, and I do look forward to reading more from Ms.Jane.

Thorfinn is a young boy of 9 years and coming of age under the historical Viking lore. Along with magic, ghost’s, witches and paranormal events. He may be young, but his knowledge is powerful. Now he needs to grow long before he is ready. This is a very interesting story. I don’t care to read historical novels, this one caught my interest. The story is well written and pretty easy to follow. As well as educational if you are interested in this genre. You can tell the author is knowledgeable in Viking history and paranormal characters, as is clear in this story. This audible story is fun to listen to. This would make for long driving trips. As the story builds, so does your heartbeat. This is a great story all together. I hope you enjoy it as much as I did. I look forward to the next book in this series.

This book was just such a fun read. Two best friends take a birthday trip every year together. When Giuliana’s best is delayed she meets Landon and sparks fly. Landon is there for business but can’t resist Giuliana. I love the playfulness of this book and how great the characters are.
This is the 4th book in the Kings of Screen series. It can be read as a standalone. This is a great fake relationship story but there is also a friends to lovers aspect to it that I loved. Ros and Jackson chemistry is awesome if they can ever get out of their own heads.
This book is a great book to teach your kids about how to be nice and kind to other kids. It is an inspiring book. This is written in such a way that it’s good for preteens and teenagers also. It’s relatable.
It was very clever to do so in instalments because you’re left hanging and wondering who , what and why 😱😉
Bella girl loves her romance novels but real life isn’t the same as where we loose ourselves , being single in your 30’s and trying online dating can be both fun and intimidating and we get to join Bella on her journey and I tell you what it’s been entertaining to say the least 😉
MR WIMP
After 12 years of marriage Bella’s husband decides he wants to move on and it would seem a third party is involved but I’ve my doubts but that’s a story for later , she’s now going to enter the scary world of 30 something dating and I say scary but it’s actually quite amusing and liberating and it may it may not boost your confidence a little ….
Joel I just want to tell you that you’re a chop for cheating on Bella and then you still have the cheek to make her feel like you walking away was her fault 🤮 shame on you !
Bella you go on as many dates as you need girl , have fun and find your knight in shining armour 🥰😉
MR STEAMY
Bella girl is still out having fun and when hunky Batman Liam crosses her path I cheered from the sides 🤣😉 he’s like a walking fantasy 🤣🔥
Liam is a love them and leave them kind of man and I must say I had a little chuckle when Liam offers himself up as the “sacrificial lamb “to help Bella out with “training and research “
Bella then meets Jack online and where does she meet up with !? At the bar ! I’m like hello girl you’ve got your hands full now what 🤷♀️
MR PLAYER
So Bella has left Liam eating her dating dust bubbles and now is getting a taste of Jack 😱😉
The jury is out on Jack on whether or not he’s a Casanova or not but let’s not get to excited because Bella decides to take a breather and I can’t say I blame her , she has been busy but while deciding to take a sabbatical delectable Jensen messaged her …,
What’s a better distraction than a girls weekend away !? Jensen is a delectable soeciMAN and I hope he stays around a little …..
MR KINKY
This one is my favourite by far 😉
Let’s just say Jensen added ALOT of fun , games and spice 🔥
I had fun with these guys but not as much as Bella did 🤣😉🔥
