This is book three in the Life is Hell Series by Naomi Valkyrie. This series just keeps getting better! We get to focus on Oren (a demon hunter newbie) and Teivel (a grumpy demon). Their attraction is clear to everyone. Oren brings out a softer side of Treivel. But can they make a relationship work? We meet a few new characters this time. Larkspur spends most of the time playing pranks on everyone and there is a baby that was dropped on Oren’s doorstep! You don’t have to read these books in order, but it doesn’t hurt to. That way you can learn about everyone involved. I definitely recommend this book.

Drag Me Down is part of the Full Throttle Cyborgs Series, the fourth book to be exact . This is not my first time picking up a book from author Landra Graf. having read her other series( Space Force Rejects Series, if you haven’t checked it out i highly recommend reading!) I just knew I had to give this series a go and I’m so glad I did. I definitely have to go back and read the first three previous books, and I can’t wait. This author always comes up with the best creative worlds and intriguing plot lines. Like living on mars, racing cars etc. lol brilliant idea. This one follows Dakota ‘Drag’ Michelson and Bridget MacIntosh through some crazy twists and turns and trying to come back from betrayal( if they can) 🙂 I look forward to reading more from this author!

What a fantastic read! I went in blind reading this book and am so glad I did. The storytelling and the vivid description of the different places, especially Laric. Callum and Aeris are the main characters in this book, and this is where the 2 world collide. Callum is a detective and sees Aeris but soon realizes he is the only one who can see her. Aeris is a fairy. They are drawn together, and they zinged, meaning they are fated. There is a secret war happening, and they plus an army of otherworldly creatures united to defeat the bad guys. I am so glad I started reading this series, I have literally enjoyed every single one of these books so far and I really can’t wait to rea the rest. I didn’t know there was more to this series till I started looking. Each book gets better and better, and I just couldn’t put this one down like the first ones. I am a sticker for making sure all the books are read in order so this is no different, but you could probably get away with reading them by themselves. these books are paranormal romance books but there’s so much more involved. Teivel and Oren, one demon, one demon hunter, will have you on a whirl wind of a roller coaster with these two. Once again, we are back at Juniper Lake to help out Teivel ex but there’s attraction to his ex’s deputy. The fear of loving again, baggage being carried over, and the secret of being a demon hunter. What possible could go wrong? Or right? I honestly recommend this series and even thou I haven’t gotten o the rest I recommend the rest because if they are all this good.

The Better Man is Book 2 in the Silver Buckle Brides series and what an amazing read. While this book could be read as a stand alone, I highly recommend reading the first book in the series as some characters do tie into this book as well. The emotions and turmoil of two people whom really come from a past with hard struggle..this story really took me on a roller coaster of emotion. Drama, secrets, jealousy and grief but also a second chance in many ways to be better. I LOVED this story of Laramee and Jamie.
Laramee has come home to Colorado to her family ranch as her father and mother decided to sell due to some health issues her father is having. Laramee has so much hurt and grief coming back as there is it reminds her of a past tragedy that is truly heartbreaking. Jamie is hired to help the Stone family sell the beloved ranch and make things better, but Jamie never expected to challenged at first by a fiery Laramee. As Jamie and Laramee work together on repairs to the ranch to make it better for selling, their walls come down around their hearts very slowly…..but there is also a past love that comes about the ranch…Sutton…whom has love Laramee forever. With pasts that have heavy baggage, decisions that need to be made, will Laramee be able to overcome grief as it burdens her shoulders and find the love that she deserves…who does she choose? I enjoyed this story. The story of how Amese finds not only her purpose but also herself was very interesting and held my interest. The journey for Amese had a few twists and turns but everything thing turned out okay in the end. There was a bit of a twist at the end, so I am thinking that Amese’s story is not over and I look forward to reading the next book.

This is a very emotional read! This is a book that I would STRONGLY recommend reading with your youngster, at least the first time they read it. It’s a story that really needs to be told but is highly emotional as previously mentioned.
Loris is in foster care and this books focuses on the emotions that he goes through with each move he has to make. It takes a lot of courage to be Loris but there are so many of them out there! It’s important to have conversations with kids reading this story to explore their emotions and feelings after hearing Loris’s plight.
The illustrations in this story are very colorful and really add to the story more. To see Loris’s transformation is pretty cool.

Oscar and Emmy Foster Kittens by Terri Sabol is part of the Oscar and Emmy Series. This was the first book I have ever read in this series. It is so cute and educational. We follow Charlie and Abby twin siblings who love their cats Oscar and Emmy. The family decides to foster baby kittens. The story is so cute and heartwarming. It also helps explains to kids in an easy-to-understand way the responsibilities that go into fostering an animal. While also showing how rewarding it can be. This is a great read for young children. Especially to help them understand the concept of fostering. The illustrations were also really cute. This is a 5 out of 5 stars for me!

This is a really cute children’s book that follows a monkey maître d’ as they serve different types of peanut butter and jelly sandwiches to the animals in the zoo. It’s a rhyming book so it is very catchy and sing-songy. The illustrations are amazing and go along so well with the words on the page. The colors are nice and bright and will catch the eye of any kiddo. It’s funny and will have kids laughing at how the different animals like their PB&J’s and it may even have them saying “EWWW!” a few times too. This is a great children’s book to add to your rotation.

I have loved all of the books in this series, but this one may just be my favorite! I read it with my 8-year-old and 12-year-old kiddos who also loved it. I feel like the author does an amazing job explaining the process of fostering animals and not just including only the fun parts. We always love the illustrations and these beautiful pictures fit in well with the rest of the series. It promotes reducing the crowds in animal shelters and explains how much fostering benefits everyone involved! I highly recommend picking up this lighthearted but incredibly educational book on fostering kitties. It would be a wonderful fit for your home or your classroom!
I absolutely adore this book! This is the second installment in the Hot Flash Hookups series and my favorite so far. I loved Kaitlyn and Banks’s characters independently and together. Their banter, their stubbornness, and their chemistry…OMG their chemistry. Ray and Stewart had my hooked from the beginning and I couldn’t put this one down! They way they do a slow burn is phenomenal! And this book is a slow, slow burn in the best of ways. I love the other tropes as well: forced proximity, forbidden love (agent & player), he falls first (a personal fav), and many more. The character development is *chef’s kiss* as is the plot line. I cannot wait to get my hands on the next installment! I highly recommend grabbing this book…it’s a fantastic sports romance with just a bit of spice. One book written by 10 authors!! What a fun way to write a series! First book I have ever read that was a 10 author collaboration. And it certainly didn’t disappoint!! Aeris is a Fae from the mystical realm of Laric. She has unique air abilities and uses glamour to walk around New Orleans. Not being aloud to leave her realm and being forbidden to be around humans doesn’t stop her one bit. One day while out in the world she bumps into Detective Callum, which would normally be fine. This is the first book that I have read by this author and it will certainly not be the last. I enjoyed this book a lot. Once I started reading it, I just could not put it down.
Daniel is the local coroner and he has to find out who murdered Zeke. Zeke was not well liked in town but I don’t think that solving the murder is the only challenge Daniel has to deal with. He has to deal with the two women in his life, his sister Isabelle and Kathleen, a friend.
These two women are headstrong and independent. They want to help solve the murder. Will Daniel survive with their help or will he win out and keep them from helping him. Check out the book. I think you will enjoy it too.

This is the second book that I have read by this author and it is just as good as the previous one. I loved how this story was told ad the characters and everything about it. I connected with them from the moment I started reading and became so invested in them so quickly. The author created meaningful and impactful characters that I wanted to know more about. The storyline was just as good as the characters. I was drawn in from the start and could not wait to see how things would play out. It isn’t very often I feel the need to comment on a book cover but each book I have read by this author has the most gorgeous and captivating covers. These alone would have driven me to pick up the books. This book is fantastic, well written and one I would highly recommend.
This book is the third book in the trilogy and I would highly recommend reading them in order. It was great to get back into this story and the character and seeing the conclusion of the story I have become invested in. I was looking forward to seeing how everything would play out and I think the author did the series justice. This author was a relatively new author to me when I started reading this series but this it has definitely cemented the fact that I will be reading more from her. Her writing style makes it easy to engage with the story and I enjoyed reading this series from start to finish. I am looking forward to seeing what else this author has to offer.

I wasn’t familiar with this book, author or series when I started reading so I was pleasantly surprised to find this was a historical story, as well as being a mystery. I thought this book was a brilliant mystery story. I loved watching it all play out and the characters piece everything together. I was right there with them trying to figure out what had happened and who was responsible. The way the author has created this story, weaving it all together, is so well done. It had me pulled in from the start and I couldn’t stop myself from reading the book to find out what was going on. I kept thinking I had figured it out until the author would add more to the story. This is a brilliant book and I am looking forward to reading more.

I was so excited to get my hands on the next book on this series. By book 10, most series have started to wan and lose their grip on me but this one just keeps getting better and better. I was pulled straight into these books and the characters. I loved getting to know them and discovering even more about this world I have come to love. This author really has an interesting writing style. Her books have a dark and intense feeling to them and yet they are so easy to read because of how well written they are. This series has easily become one of my favourite to read and I cannot wait to see what else this author has to offer.

This book is a fantastic and fun children’s story, and is one that is entertaining from start to finish. It is a completely engaging story that really caught my kids attention right from the word go. They loved the idea of getting stuck to a giant sweet and really found it funny that this happened to the character. This author really knows how to write brilliant children’s books. They are a firm favourite in our house and with each book we just love her even more. This book has been added to the collection of ones we will read multiple times (and already have) and I am sure it will be joined by many from this author.
This book was so incredible!! Not only does it keep you turning the page, but you absolutely get to know each and every person in this story. It is amazing that it is wrote by 10 authors. Well done to the authors for working to create a great book.

Hell in a Handbasket is Book Three in the Life is Hell series. Although this book can be read as a standalone, I recommend reading the other books in this series because they are amazing. This book focuses on Teivel, a demon, and Oren, a demon hunter who are natural enemies. Teivel has returned to Juniper Lake, a place that he keeps getting drawn to for some unexplainable reason. When a hybrid baby is dropped off on Oren’s doorstep, the two must work together to protect him. Teivel was mentioned in previous books briefly, but this book goes more in depth about his character. We learn that there is more to him than originally meets the eye. Most would think that he is a world class jerk, but it turns out that there is more to him than that. There is a strong attraction between Teivel and Oren even though there is no reason how a demon and a demon hunter could possibly be in any sort of a relationship or fall in love for that matter. This was another wonderful book written by an extremely talented author. Her writing style is not only unique and creative but her characters are quirky and fun.

I thoroughly enjoyed this book. If you don’t know much about ballet, like myself, you won’t find yourself lost. The author makes it easy to understand and even though it is a big portion of what the book is about; you will get swept away with all the suspense. I wasn’t sure what I was getting myself into with this book but I am so glad that I took that chance to read it. This book had so much suspense and it was so well written. It is one of those books where you think you’ve gotten everything figured out and then there is a curveball that you didn’t see coming and everything you thought just goes out the window. I truly didn’t expect the book to go the way it did and I completely loved it. There is romance in this book that is sprinkled throughout all the suspense. I just really loved this book. I can’t get into the specifics about it because I know that I will give away spoilers and I don’t want that because I want every reader to be as surprised as I was.
