The Silent Forest (The House on the Hill Book 2) by David Kummer – Review by Shea Gilkerson

The Silent Forest (The House on the Hill, #2)The Silent Forest by David Duane Kummer
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

We are back in New Haven. Allison going missing has set off a chain of events. New Haven is trying to move on, but Kaia refuses to stop. In this book she is finding answers but is really causing things to become unsettling. More residents are missing. More cases on Sheriff Wheelers desk. Many dark secrets are hidden in New Haven, but how long will they remain buried?

I absolutely devoured both books 1 and 2 in this series. The suspense, fear, tension is all very masterfully built and I was almost unable to read it fast enough. I don’t want to give anything away, it is a total treat to get to uncover the secrets as they unfold. Can’t wait to finish book 3!
