Under Jackson Bridge by Susan Specht Oram – Review by Kristan Anderson
Under Jackson Bridge: A thriller by Susan Specht Oram
My rating: 4 of 5 stars
Under Jackson Bridge by Susan Specht Oram is book one in the Beyond the Bridge series. Going boating is usually a fun trip with friends. But unfortunately when Irena and her friends go, it just turns into a disaster. Though she maintains a decent yet complicated relationship with her ex, he owes her several years of child support and she just wishes he’d grow up and get a job. When during this outing, Jack falls overboard after a bought of arrogance, Irene is concerned. Things seem to not add up and everything just seems off. The story was filled with twists and turns on every page as well as speculation on what happens to Jack. I found that the story could have used more character development as we see mostly Irene’s point of view. But it was griping and I enjoyed it. I’d love to read more by this author!
