A cute story I read to my granddaughter, She seemed to really enjoy it.
It teaches children that their dogs need guidance just like they do. If you want the dog to react a certain way in situations you need to train them to do that. By training them they know what you expect of them and will react accordingly.

This is the first book by this author that I have read and it won’t be the last. I can’t wait to start reading the rest of the series. So far the cast of characters and the story line are holding my interest and I just can’t get enough. I am going to check out other books by this author.
Ryan and Mitch are partners and when they finished this flip together, Mitch announced to Ryan that he was taking a year off to spend time with his wife and help her with their newborn. Ryan isn’t sure what he is going to do while Mitch is off. Mitch suggests that he go to the newspaper and see Tess. She will help him place an ad and find odd jobs to tide him over til Mitch comes back.

Irresistible Bond is a romance suspense novel by Victoria Saccenti. It is book 5 of the Central Florida Stories Series and can be read as a stand-alone. Marcus, Storm, and Barrington are childhood best friends. As children they were inseparable but Storm is preparing to begin her dream job with the DEA. Of course, this happens just as things start to heat up with the trio and they find themselves wanting to explore a different side to their bond. This book was very interesting and layered. The storytelling is rich and emotional. The bond between the cousins, Marcus and Barrington, and their “princess” Storm is very strong. This author provides a richer experience than was expected. There are some trigger warnings but it is worth the read.

The Puppy Adventures of Porter and Midge: Out and About is a children’s book by Jennie Chen and Giselle Nevada. It is part of their Porter and Midge Children’s Book Series. Lorna and CJ are learning how to keep Porter and Midge safe in this book. They learn what to do for the dogs until their final vaccinations. They also learn what to do to keep the dogs as well as others safe when they are out and about. This is a very helpful guide for old and new pet owners. The book is easy to read. The instructions are given in a fun story but are easy to follow. The illustrations are clear and fun. This is another must-have pet care book.

Storm, Marcus and Barrington were inseparable when they were young, although the attraction was there between all three of them they decide one night to delve into the chemistry. Although they loved each other with Marcus and Barrington being from a wealthy family, Storm was always seen as below them in there family circles.
One night Storm hears what there families truly think of her and she then decides to pursue her career within the DEA leaving the cousins to live there lives. Roll on four years later and when a operation goes wrong Storm is left with emotional and physical scars to recover from but when she is home Marcus and Barrington show up and restore faith in Storm slowly with there love and patience.
Can they make it work and can Storm trust the two cousins with her heart?
This is the fifth book in this series and although this is a series, this book can be read as a stand alone although there are some over laps with the previous books you can follow the story easily.
I loved the chemistry and relationships between all three of the main characters and the love they have for each other jumps of the page. There are some trigger topics with the scenes when Storm is held captive but this adds to the story and how remarkable the character of Storm is to try and overcome the experiences.
I have always liked Marcus and Barrington from the previous stories but they just are cemented more and more in my heart after sticking up for Storm with there family and living their lives they way they want to is just refreshing to read. The chemistry jumps off the page and the story is intense and flows brilliant which will have you staying up all night finishing this brilliant story.
I can’t wait to read more from this author.

This is another delightful book following the adventures of Porter and Midge. This time, they need to learn basic training to take part in a parade. As usual, this book takes an important, educational matter relating to dogs and teaches it to children in a fun and entertaining way. Both of my kids loved learning about what is involved in training dogs, and everything they need to learn. The illustrations fit perfectly with the story being told and really help to bring it to life. Each book in this series is just as good as the last and we definitely enjoyed this on in our household.

This book is another great adventure of Sparky. It is always nice to get to see more of this character. She is feisty and always interesting to read about. Her latest adventure is just as intriguing as the others. She has to find a way to prove Bookie was framed for murder. But with so much going on around this, it definitely turns out to be a tough challenge. This is a well written mystery story with a fun and quirky character at its centre. The book (and the series) is truly enjoyable to read and I look forward to each new book that I start. I thoroughly enjoyed this book and I cannot wait to read the next one in the series.

This is a really enjoyable romcom read. It is a fun, steamy second chance romance. It is a story about losing everything in your life, rebuilding your life over again in a new place and finding love when you least expect it. Kenna life falls apart in the space of one week. First she finds out her husband is cheating on her and then the promotion she worked so hard for was given to someone else. On the verge of a breakdown she takes the chance and leaves to take care of her aunty’s estate. This is where she meets her aunt’s neighbour Don. Their relationship to begin with was definately dislike at first sight. As they spend time together feelings change but they both have things they are working on. Kenna needs to work on rediscovering herself and rebuilding her life, meanwhile Don is hiding a secret a secret of his own. Will this be their second chance of a happy ever after?
This was a really enjoyable read. I loved the characters and how they communicated with each other. One thing I also loved was the story being told from the point of view of both our main characters so you get the complete story instead of a one sided story. This is definately a holiday read for me.

This book was not what I expected it to be. It follows Lea’s story loosely but catches the highlights of what really seem to shape her. I spent a lot of time thinking that I knew what was coming, only to be surprised it didn’t take the turn that I expected it to. There were also moments where I thought the story was wrapping up, only to be pleasantly surprised that it kept going. I found it interesting that someone so young and sheltered could speak so easily to thousands of people. While there are a lot of political points made, I did not find them divisive which is refreshing. All in all, it was a good read for the times that we are in.

Spirit Guide is book 3 in the wonderfully written Madame Chalalmet Ghost Mysteries series by Byrd Nash. I had fallen in love with this series from book one, and I’ve just become addicted to this author! I definitely recommend reading these in order, this one has a lot of answers we’ve been waiting for. This was such a fun read! It was silly and so very funny! I laughed out loud so many times. I love Naomi’s writing and her stories. They are always such a joy to read. It doesn’t matter what her book is about, I am instantly pulled in and just want to consume the entire thing in one sitting. I really don’t know what to say exactly about this story in particular. The characters are unique, hilarious, and just wacky. I highly suggest just picking this book for a very entertaining quick read!
I have so enjoyed this series. Part of my enjoyment comes from it being set in the 1920’s. It was such a different time back then. The speech, the people, all of it was so unique to us in this current time period. Not to sound like a cliche but Sparky is one of the most spunky characters I’ve met in a book this year. For a young one, she’s got the fear but she’ll protect her people and usually finds herself in trouble. This book is a wonderful mystery. So many little twists and turns make it a fun read. I like books like that. I’m bored if I can figure out the killer in the first little bit. The story is so well done. The detail and the characters really make you feel the history as you’re reading. It’s an enjoyable read. I’d recommend for lovers of historical mysteries.

Super cute, funny, and romantic beach read! Dec and Kenna are hilarious and such an interesting match up. Their unusual pairing due to Aunt Maeve’s will and the chain of events leading up to that moment get the reader hooked right from the start. So many laughs and some great romance, interesting parent dynamics and a great cast of characters makes for a great and very quick read. Makes me want to head straight to the Florida keys! Another great book from Marika Ray!

If you are looking for a cute, grumpy/sunshine romcom that has just the right amount of spice and characters that you will fall head over heels for then look no further and grab Salt Love now. I could not put this book down and would have absolutely read it in one sitting if I didn’t have to be a responsible adult. Ray’s writing is phenomenal and her ability to develop her characters is spectacular. This is the first book I’ve read by Ray solely, but it won’t be the last. I cannot tell you how hard it was for me to put this book down when I had to adult. I loved Kenna and Dec’s story and I absolutely loved how Ray developed them as characters both individually and together. I cannot wait to pick up another of Ray’s books. In the Midst of Omens is set in a period of time where the Gods are prevalent. The main character is part God and the king of Uruk. He wants to leave an impact and be remembered after his death which has caused him to seek the future and not appreciate the present until his God mother and first wife pray for someone to help him see what he is missing while pursuing a change to his fate. The story is about finding your purpose, seeing and appreciating the present including what you already have, and admitting love for another. It’s a good story even if I did struggle with some of the names.

This is the first book in the series and if I am being honest, I read this book second. That being said, y’all can read these in an order and not feel lost. I met these characters in the other book that I read and was super excited to be able to read their story. This book has all the feels. The characters have bene hurt in the past and are trying to learn to let things go in order to move forward. The emotions that the author is able to construe will have you feeling everything that the characters do. I am a sucker for books that make me feel. I felt he anger, the sorrow, the loss, the love, the cheekiness of their banter, the giggles, and it made me like this book even more. This is a quick read because you will fall in love with the story. The characters in this book don’t necessarily have the easiest road to love but they road they do have feels so beneficial and healing. This is the second book in the series and it can be read as a stand alone. I actually read this book before reading the first one in the series. The writing style of the author is amazing as then make the words and story line flow throughout the book. I found it to be a quick read because of this. The characters are amazing and have the cutest meet cute in this book that hooked me for the rest of the book. I liked the chemistry that the characters have and that the families accept the other. It is just a really cute quick read. The other characters in the book are the ones that you will meet throughout the series in other books. They don’t play a huge part in the books that aren’t theirs but they are there for support. It is a great way to draw the reader into the series and give them just a taste of what the other books hold. So Rachel really doesn’t have a good track record with men and when she gets stood up at dinner it’s the delectable Miguel that comes to her rescue and man he’s just perfect 😍 I think she may have just struck gold this time round
I don’t think Miguel knew what he was letting himself in for when he came to Rachel’s rescue in his restaurant. He’s also been broken hearted but he decides to move on and I’m grateful it’s with Rachel…. She’s one lucky gal that’s for sure! He’s got a beautiful heart , he’s really easy on the eye and he can cook , that’s a great package deal right there 🥰🤣
Rachel and Miguel have chemistry that’s for sure and they’re great together! I didn’t want their story to end but if their’s ends there’s another to follow so I know I’m just know I’m going to love Rose’s story 🥰😉

Tess was married before and unfortunately she was unfaithful which led to the end of her marriage but I’m not playing judge and jury so I’ll leave it there for now …. she also runs the local paper and let’s face it newspapers are dying out especially our local small town editions but she’s trying I’ll give her that much ….she’s burnt her fingers with relationships and doesn’t think she’ll be in one again , that is until Ryan crosses her path 😉
Ryan and Mitch are in business together , they flip houses and they’re good at it . Mitch let’s Ryan know that he’s going to take a sabbatical of sorts as his wife is having their first little one and for that I love him but it does leave Ryan in a bit of a pinch , Mitch suggest he runs an as in the paper for handyman jobs and that’s when his path crosses with Tess’s 🔥 it was instant attraction but Ryan has some really strong boundaries and with Tess’s past I’m a little worried , she needs to play open cards from the start …,,
So Ryan and Tess are soooooo good together but Tess is trying to hide her past which naturally will cause a few hiccups but it was fun watching them together they just flow really and Tess gets an added bonus in Rachel as a friend , I’d say she got a 2 for one SPECIAL🥰

This has been an amazing series to read so far. This is Marcus, Storm & Barrington’s story. It is intense. I found myself feeling all the emotions as I went through this story. This story is definitely spicy. It’s also got action and drama. There’s a lot going on. Some familiar faces from Club Nexus pop in and make an appearance. This is an amazing story. This is one of those that I by her stories because I know they will always fascinate.

The Fallen Man is the fifth and final book in The Olympic Peninsula series by Cat Treadgold. This is a series that just seems to get better and better with each new instalment- which made this a bit of a bittersweet read, knowing it was the final instalment. It is a heartwarming and emotional romance that also has a bit of a ‘family saga’ feel., so I highly recommend reading the rest of the series, so you are able to fully appreciate the family dynamics, character development, and interconnected details that come with each book. The author has imbued the story (and series) with plenty of heart & soul. Her characters are wonderful- cleverly crafted individuals with their own unique personalities, quirks, and flaws. Adding their own stamp on the series, which definitely wouldn’t be the same without them. The story is sweet and tender in parts, but with enough drama and angst to keep me flipping the pages to discover how everything plays out in the end. I love how Ms. Treadgold has written a story/series with so many layers, facets, and interconnected details, which makes for quite an engrossing read. This is Edward O’Connell’s story, he’s the eldest of the O’Connell’s — and what a story he has to tell… From priesthood to finding love unexpectedly- his story is a journey of discovery, in more ways than one. Edward and Lisette’s story was worth the wait, and they were perfect together. Again, as with the other O’Connell sibling’s stories, this grabbed my heartstrings, and plucked them, hard- making for a sweet, heartwarming, emotional, and memorable read… Looking forward to more from Ms. Treadgold. I’m not a huge age gap fan, but this book was really really good. I absolutely wanted to throttle Declan at the start of the book when he promised Anna the world and then left her at the alter. The heartbreak that Anna went through, I just wanted to hug her and keep her from the world. When Declan came back into her life I wanted him to just leave and not come back. The ups and down put me through the wringer. When problems would arise and the communication broke down I got really frustrated. I really enjoyed reading this book, and the storyline was written really well and put together.
With my plan to weaken the two major crime families set in motion, I retreat to a remote cabin to wait out the destruction and plan my takeover. None of my plans included a man claiming to be from another planet.
Believing he’s been sent to kill me, his ridiculous claim a distraction meant to throw me off, I hold him prisoner. But then he goes and saves my life. Maybe there’s something to this alien thing after all. One thing is certain, my pathway to power just got a whole lot easier with him on my side.
All I have to do now is stay focused on the mission and not get distracted by the allure of my otherworldly hero.

Immersed in the enchanting world of classical ballet during her school years at a specialised girls’ boarding school, Eleanor Dixon leapt into a thrilling professional dance career, across the European stage. This success fuelled the birth of a captivating series, with “Ballet School Boys”, “Ballet School Rumours” and “Triple Trouble at Amberwood” continuing the mesmerising tales of resident ghosts, Grace and Rodney. The series has also received a further two awards from The Wishing Shelf.
But the excitement doesn’t stop there. Eleanor is also working on an epic six-book series titled “TALLY AND THE ANGEL.” Tally and her angel embark on jaw-dropping adventures from India to Canada’s North Yukon, Japan and now, Greece. This book made me do a lot of belly laughs. I absolutely loved Kenna, she was delt a bad hand in the beginning and I had felt really bad. But seeing as she grew throughout the book and meeting up with Dec and getting to know him was something to see. Dec kind of reminded me of a little bit of grumpy cat, until Kenna thawed him out. The ups and downs that they both went through was hard. But this book had a few good laughs that got me going. I enjoyed reading this book by Markia. I can’t wait to read more by her!
