This children’s book features darling illustrations, including adorable mud-covered faces and a dashing little pig. The scenes of children chasing a pig is so comical, and I couldn’t help but laugh at the images both on paper and in my imagination. I would enjoy the energy they have to join in on that fun. I primarily appreciated the girl’s determination and competitive nature when faced with obstacles, as it demonstrates the importance of perseverance and believing in oneself.
