What an original and refreshing story this is. I knew from the moment I read the description that I would enjoy this book, but it completely blew all expectations out of the water! For a start, I loved the fact that the main character was older. Most books that I read like this are of the YA category, with a character to match. So having the main character be older was such a nice change. I definitely connected with this character more than others and I really became invested in her story.
I loved the overall story the author created. It was exciting, fun to read and one that I couldn’t seem to get enough of. Once I had started reading, I found it really hard to put down. This is a brilliant story and I am really looking forward to the next in the series.
