This is such a sweet second chance romance. It is the first book in the Willowbrook Lake series .The author has written characters that are relatable that I had no trouble imagine myself in their world. The emotions were so heartfelt that I felt every emotion that they went through.
This is a heartwarming story about second chances, finding Love when you least expect it and when you imagined you could never love again

Adeline has suffered a deep heartache. After her husband has passed away she didn’t think she would love again, however when she hires Owen a contractor to help her with renovations to her house starts feel things she never thought she would again.
Owen comes across as a grumpy guy but he can’t help being drawn to Adeline.
He knows of her loss and offers to help her with the renovations as it seems the neighbourly thing to do. However the more time they spend together he can’t help but start to fall for her.
Will Adeline be ready to take a chance on love again? Or will it be too soon for her to move on?
