Wow – what a rollercoaster of emotions shared between Declan and Anne. Declan was expected to keep his agreement and be under his father’s thumb. Anne wanted to pave her own way and be independent. 

The beginning of the book was a little slow, but it ended so much better than I expected. The twists and turns that life threw at these two kept me on the edge of my seat until the very end. Their love story is one of determination and grit as they make their way through various challenges and road blocks.
