The Magic Man Audiobook (The Olympic Peninsula Book 3) by Cat Treadgold – Review by Robin Rankin

The Magic Man The Olympic Peninsula Series, Book 3

David is basically a stranger at the beginning of this book. He was mentioned in passing a few times but not a lot was known. He definitely didn’t give me the warm fuzzies.

Maddie is a sweet woman who listens to her heart instead of her brain from time to time. There were a few times that she showed that.

I enjoyed the book overall, but I was unable to make a connection with David which surprised and disappointed me. Ms. Treadgold did a wonderful job narrating and has a voice that is very soothing which was much needed this week.

Looking forward to the next books, but the mystery of Edward is truly intriguing.

The Crown of Stones: Magic-Scars Audiobook (The Crown of Stones Book 2) by C. L. Schneider – Review by Lorralei Hoerner

5 Stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

This story was fantastic!! Magic, mayhem, drama and darkness… this fast paced story has it all. I very highly recommend listening to Book 1 as this is Book 2 in the series and picks up a couple of years later where Ian Troy wakes after being imprisoned for 2 years….

Drugged and beaten… Ian is tortured and comes around unbeknownst to him…a prisoner after
2 years….not remembering what happened. Of course King Draken is at his full rule and cruel and dark as ever. Ian Troy is rescued and trying to put the pieces back together especially trying to find the truth still in the Crown of Stones….

If you love a gripping fantasy story I very highly recommend this audiobook. I cannot wait until I listen to book 3 in the series.

The Crown of Stones: Magic-Scars Audiobook (The Crown of Stones Book 2) by C. L. Schneider – Review by Shelly Kittell

This book is one heck of an adventure. I found that the adventure just grabs you from the beginning. Troy is still my favorite character. He’s trying to adjust from being out of prison and finds himself fighting a war. Non-stop action, great dialogue, intriguing characters all make for a winner. The narrator does a fantastic job of making you feel like you are right there listening to the story, right in the middle of the action. This is one of my favorite authors. She writes in such a way that you feel like you’ve been on an adventure also.

The Crown of Stones: Magic-Scars Audiobook (The Crown of Stones Book 2) by C. L. Schneider – Review by Cindy Mayberry

First I highly recommend you start this series at the beginning with Book 1. This story has so much more than I expected. I enjoy reading the series from this author. This is a fantasy that will take you places in your mind. Ian Troy was trapped in a prison set by the King. Everything he knows has been taken from him. He endured beating, drugs and even his memories were taken. They also took his magic. So sad and yet so worth reading, and listening to. After getting rescued he now has to find himself. What will he remember? Can he take his life back? This story is well written and a page turner for sure. Hop onto this rollercoaster of emotions and enjoy the ride. I refuse to give you spoilers. This is one story you will have read to believe. I am excited to dive into book 3.

Necrosis Audiobook by C.L. Schneider – Review by Charlisa Wahtomy-Alba

I don’t know how a lot of people like to start their day, but I decided that the start of my 8 hour shift at 6am was a good time to start this book. As I was standing at my cart getting medicine ready for a resident I thought that this book would get off to a bit of a slow start, but NO! It started out with something that I never expected. I had to stop what I was doing and just listen to the first few paragraphs thinking oh my gosh, she really did that? It was a good listen and I will most likely actually read the book at some point. I know all of us mothers out there would do anything to protect our children and the main character in this story was no exception. I highly recommend you read the book or at the very least give it a listen.

Necrosis Audiobook by C.L. Schneider – Review by Nina Maes

This was a great listen. I am not very big fan of zombies or apocalypse. I have to say this was a gripping experiences I loved the fast paced story. This one will grab you and keep you to the very end. I seen this story not so much as zombies, but of a mother’s true love for her child. The lengths a mother will go through to protect what is part of her. This is a story of love, determination and strength beyond anything else. I highly recommend this book.

This is the first book I have listen to by this author. I was enthralled with this story and look forward to more stories from Ms. Dodson. This was full of strong female characters taking on a big company, local politicians and the Chamber of Commerce to prevent a big resort being built and destroying the natural beauty of their valley.
This book is narrated by Katie Hagaman. She has a wonderful voice and really brought the characters in this book to life. Awesome listen!!

Truck Stopped (Satan’s Devils MC) Audiobook by Manda Mellett – Review by Kayla Octaviano

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Wow! Amazing! This book is written differently than the others in the series, but it was so well done! It’s a love story, a brotherhood, a passing of the torch, and growing old story. Hits home in every aspect. No matter who you are, something in this book will draw you in. Beautiful story telling, as always. Wonderful characters, many emotions, and several different perspectives that everyone can relate to.

Truck Stopped (Satan’s Devils MC) Audiobook by Manda Mellett – Review by M Policicchio

Once again this author has us delving into the world of the Satan’s Devils MC and finding happiness.  There is such a feeling of home and friendship each time I hop into this world.  Sure the characters are rough and grumbly.  This may not be everyone’s idea of family.  But through each and every book I have read or heard in this series, love, friendship, family are the overarching themes.  They, down to every last man, do what they need to do for the ones they love, including their brothers.

This one was unique as it is told through a series of flashbacks as two of the mainstay characters reflect on the past.  Drummer and Peg tell this story.  As I listened, I came to realize that this was the series ender, at least of this chapter.  So let me set the stage.

Truck had gotten patched in and was off doing his firefighting duty in California.  Truck was injured on the job.  He returned to Arizona but not to the club.  He has put off seeing everyone.

Allie has been at the Club for going on 10 years.  Not that she hasn’t enjoyed the life that being with the Club has offered her but she is realizing that she might want something more.  She isn’t looking to be an Old Lady, she just doesn’t want to be what she is anymore.  When the Club members start noticing that she hasn’t been fulfilling all of her club duties, Drummer calls her into his office and has a discussion.

Allie is tasked with a special job.  Reach out to Truck and see if she can talk to him.  Get him to come back to the club.  When Allie does make contact with Truck, it only highlights that Allie doesn’t want to be what she is anymore.  There has to be something else for her in this life.

This is where I wanted to smack some sense into Truck.  The way he talks to and about Allie.  UGH!!!  I get it.  I do.  But, just ugh!  Luckily for both myself and Allie, one of the brothers manages to talk some sense into Truck.  *insert happy dance here!*  But even after getting what you want, life isn’t all rainbow colored candy and beer.  Each, Truck and Allie, make some life-altering decisions that have ripple-effect consequences.

In the end, Truck and Allie find their version of happiness.  If I haven’t mentioned it before, I love, love, love this series.  I have slowly started branching out the other chapters and 2nd Gen, but my heart will always be true to the mother chapter.  One day, I will learn to ride a motorcycle or get some really good AI app, and ride off into the sunset with these characters.  Until then, I will slowly add book after book to my library!!  Satan’s Devils ride together!!  Ride Satan’s Devils!!!

This author is one of my favorites. This book starts off fast paced and continues that way through the whole story. If you are a Zombie fan, this is the story for you.  This story is packed with action and the ending will blow you away.

This book is narrated by Jess Jacob. She has an amazing voice and really brought this story to life. I’m looking forward to listening to more stories narrated by her.

Necrosis Audiobook by C.L. Schneider – Review by Deb Robinson

A mother’s love is like no other on earth no matter the species.  In desperate times this love will conquer what is needed to survive.

As children we look up to our mother’s or guidance and perhaps sacrifice.

This is a story of that ultimate sacrifice from Amy to her daughter Lyla.  In a world of the unknown with deadly viruses at play, they struggle to survive second by second.

This is a book about zombies but with a very heartfelt story of a mother’s love in the face of deadly choices.  The narrator was excellent and kept you on the edge of your seat throughout the whole book.  Her intonation brought the struggle and heartbreak alive.  Excellent story and narration.

Necrosis Audiobook by C.L. Schneider – Review by Shelly Kittell

5 out of 5 stars

This is not your usual zombie apocalypse book. It’s also a story of redemption and mother/daughter love. There is no stronger love than sacrificing yourself to rescue your daughter from a buried subway and possible zombies. I found the story so intriguing that I had to keep listening. The action, drama and romance is wonderful in this story. Such a well-written story, this the best zombie story I have read in a long time. The characters are well-developed and well-thought out. The ending throws me for a loop but soo, soo very good. You have to read this book. I would give it more than 5 stars if I could.

Necrosis Audiobook by C.L. Schneider – Review by Cindy Mayberry

A mother will do all she can to protect her children. In this story the mother is my hero. It did not matter how scary things got, this mother did all she could to protect her daughter. This story is intense and fast paced. The author  has a great imagination, one that will convince you to follow her. I don’t normally read stories about zombies, but this story caught my interest. I am glad I did. The story is non-stop action. The ending is one you won’t want to miss out on. Besides, the author has written many books and has never let me down.

Truck Stopped (Satan’s Devils MC) Audiobook by Manda Mellett – Review by Lorralei Hoerner

5 Stars 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
Wow…what a fantastic story. Truck Stopped is Book 11 in the Satans Devils MC series and even through you could listen to this book as a stand-alone I highly recommend listening to all the books as this is a fantastic series.
Truck is a veteran and a firefighter who is also a member of the Satans Devils MC. While trying to tend to a fire call, Truck is injured and burned badly. Feeling down, damaged and angry, Truck just wants to be alone and just feels like a broken monster with all his scars.
Allie is a “sweet butt” for the Satans Devils MC but knows she wants more. Her mom throwing her out at a young age, Allie is a fighter to survive…Allie never forgets Truck as they shared something special before he leaves. When Drummer, the president, wants Truck back at the club he sends Allie to convince Truck to return……but does he?
Allie and Truck continue their bond even though there is lots of hesitation. Will Allie and Truck each overcome dark pasts that lead them to light?
I loved every minute of this story including hearing the future of the club with Drummer and Peg of what is to come and what has happened. I’m very sad this is the end of an era but love to see more from Manda that would include the clubs children as they grow up as a possibility.

I was completely captivated by this story from beginning to end, I honestly could not stop listening at all. I have to say I am usually consumed by this authors stories but there was just something about this one, she really did take the story and characters to another level. She definitely brought the series full circle with this final instalment.
Truck and Allie’s story was so beautifully written, the emotional moments of the story really grabbed me at times. It’s been a while since a book had me in tears but this one did all within a few pages! I was so into what I was listening to, I could feel everything to characters did and I think that’s definitely what had me so emotional!
Truck Stopped was an amazing ending to this series and a story I cannot recommend enough. It could be read as a standalone but I would 100% recommend the series as a whole!
On top of a wonderful story were the perfect narrators that were chosen, they really did bring the story to life through their narration.

The Podcast Chronicles Audiobook by Kathryn Dodson – Review by Cindy Mayberry

Get ready for this story! Ok let me be clear. In this story Sue Clearly is following a different career. She went from working to having children and not working. Well yes she became a stay at home mom to raise her children, which we all know is an important job. As her last two are beginning their last years in high school, she wonders what will happen to her empty nest. Family is so very important, and that is who she has backing her up. There is a company wanting to destroy her little town of Durango and the forest around it. This can not happen! Not in her mind, therefore she starts a plan in motion. It was interesting how this strong woman went about to get things done. The fight is on and she has more support than she thought she had. That is all I am going to say! No Spoilers. I loved this story. How the family grew so strong, how the husband supported his wife and most importantly how she went about to make a difference. Just reading this story tells you how much the author invested in getting things right. The characters are perfect for their parts. Strong independent characters make things happen and even some emotions are pulled out. Great Story,  Fast paced and interesting as well. Well Done!

Necrosis Audiobook by C.L. Schneider – Review by Amanda Glaspie

This was powerfully and beautifully written. The details and descriptions were incredibly vivid and made me a little squeamish at times. The emotions felt in each sentence were strong. The narrator did a wonderful job with her vocal inflections and telling the story.

Truck Stopped (Satan’s Devils MC) Audiobook by Manda Mellett – Review by Robin Rankin

Truck Stopped, Satan’s Devils MC, Book 11

I love how this final book in the original Tuscon chapter wraps things up with this generation as well lay the path for the second generation of Satan’s Devils Tuscon chapter.

Truck isn’t one of the original members but became a fixture pretty early on in the series.   He gets through being a prospect only to go fight a wild fire.  Things go from amazing to garbage in the blink of an eye.

Ally is such a strong woman.   She did what she had to do to survive, fate stepped in and changed her life for the better.

I find myself getting so lost in the story that the narrators are definitely the story.

If you’re a fan of the Devil’s you will know everyone and their stories. If you’re interested in the Devil’s I cannot not stress enough to start with Book 1.

Necrosis Audiobook by C.L. Schneider – Review by Bobbi Wagner

This is not my first audio book by this author but it is one of my favorites. I enjoyed listening to this book. I enjoyed the narrator and their tone of voice. I enjoyed how they changed tones for characters which made them engaging. The characters are unique and creative. This is a shorter story that certainly packs a punch with adventure and had me coming back for more. This is an easy and entertaining story to listen to. I enjoyed this audiobook and I highly recommend it.

Truck Stopped is the eleventh book in the Satan’s Devils MC Series by Manda Mellett. This is my new favorite book in this series. It was gut wrenching and heartwarming with my emotions flying between laughing and crying throughout. This is Truck and Allie’s story and I love the way it was presented. I especially love the flash forwards into the future as Drummer relates the story and fills in information on other members of the MC. I highly recommend this book, series and author.

This story is narrated by Sierra and Logan as all the books in this series so far. They do an awesome job bringing the characters to life. Their voices complement each other for an all around great listening experience.

This was a fantastic audiobook. This story gave me apocalypse survival, love, fight and sacrifice.
A deadly disease hits hard everywhere. The only way to survive was to fight the infected undead. Amy and her daughter are trying to survive and fight back the deadly virus that has infected, loved ones and most of human mankind. With the infected closing in with Amy protect  her daughter at all costs?
This is a fantastic story, and I highly recommend listening to this book. It’s not all about zombies. It is a story of survival of the fittest and the love you to protect the ones you care about the most.

Truck Stopped (Satan’s Devils MC) Audiobook by Manda Mellett – Review by Cindy Mayberry

Truck was a fireman, while on duty he was caught in a burning building that almost ended his life. Spiritually that is, he can’t ride, he can’t work, all was lost. Until help was sent to him. He is angry and wants nobody around. Allie volunteers to go see him. To be his friend, to give him reasons to come back to the MC.He is scarred and broken. But Allie does all she can to motivate him. So that is all you get, no spoilers. Because this story is a romance of a different kind. One that will keep you glued to the story. I recommend you read the series in order. The author has once again impressed me with her writing. The story is a fast paced rollercoaster of emotions. I loved it, it’s well written and easily keeps you reading. I look forward to the next in this series.

Truck Stopped (Satan’s Devils MC) Audiobook by Manda Mellett – Review by Bobbi Wagner

This is not my first audio book by this author but it is one of my favorites.  This is a series that I have enjoyed reading and listening to from the start.  I enjoyed the narrator’s voice and how engaging they kept the story with their voice.  The author did a great job of creating something so amazing and the characters are steamy.  Truck is badly scarred from his past but will Allie be his savior? Will she show him there is more to her than just a friend? Loved their chemistry. This is a must listen to audio!  I highly recommend this audiobook.

Truck Stopped (Satan’s Devils MC) Audiobook by Manda Mellett – Review by Amanda Glaspie

Once again, this book proved why this is one of my favorite series and I’m so incredibly sad to see it end for the Tucson chapter. This was wonderfully and beautifully written. I felt every single emotion between Trucker and Allie. I found myself unable to stop listening and when I had to “put the book down” I found myself thinking a out it. I loved how this followed the same normal format as all the other books but also gave closure to the Tucson club. As always the narrators were fantastic and were absolutely perfect.

This Time Around Audiobook by Jane Suen – Review by Charlisa Wahtomy-Alba

Katie and Chase were high school sweethearts and seemed destined to be together forever. However, after graduating high school they ended up splitting up, and Katie went to the big city to follow her dreams. Chase did eventually leave himself, but went back to be closer to his brother. When his brother and sister-in-law tragically perished in an accident he became the guardian of his nephew. Now a decade has passed by and Chase’s cousin is getting married. He and Katie are about to be thrown together by his match making cousin and the results could either be disaterous, or turn into a reconciliation. The lead characters in this book were very likeable, and the narrators did an amazing job bringing them to life. I do wish the story had been a bit longer, but I was very happy with how everything turned out for Chase and Katie. This was definitely worth the listen.

This Time Around Audiobook by Jane Suen – Review by Anastasia Dodson

This was a quick read and i enjoyed it. It was a aweet clean romance that i spend my afternoon listening to. The narrators are great! They worked well together and i enjoyed the alternating povs. Chase and Kate were high school sweethearts and things between them didn’t end on the best of terms. Years after they parted ways they’re pushed together as each others plus ones at a friends wedding. Even though its been years, there is still tension and hurt feelings between them but when they start to look closer, that also realise there is still love there too. I enjoyed this book even though it was a clean(er) romance than i normally read. I thought the author did a great job with this story and the narrators did an great job bringing this story to life. I will be listening to more by this author in the future!
Happy Listening!

This Time Around Audiobook by Jane Suen – Review by Laura Jones

I enjoyed listening to this book and found it a more wholesome and refreshing story line. I liked the fact that it didn’t have an in depth sex scene as those make me uncomfortable. But I do enjoy a good love story and this one was one I could picture being the next Hallmark movie. I found the characters to be endearing and loved how important family was to the main characters. One of the best parts was when Katie finally realized what was most important to her and she stood up for herself against her BFH. Well written, and quite enjoyable!

This Time Around Audiobook by Jane Suen – Review by Nina Maes

This is a very sweet short story. Great character, very engaging to the end. Very touching and relatable, I listen on a plane ride as I traveled, and it was great. I recommend this to someone who has a flight or a long drive, easy to listen to and follow along. I really enjoyed this author and will read or listen to more of her work.

This Time Around Audiobook by Jane Suen – Review by Bobbi Wagner

This is an author that I have enjoyed reading and listening to from the first book. I enjoy how the narrator uses different tones of voice to change characters.  I also enjoyed how they made the book come to life.  I found this to be an engaging story that is shorter but packs a punch. A story where two people have great chemistry but life gets in the way. Will these two figure out things and be able to have a life together? Katie and Chase’s chemistry and growth is off the charts and you don’t want to miss their story.  I really enjoyed listening to this story and I highly recommend it.
