This book had my attention right from the first word to the last word in the book. This book really gave me the feelings of being in the book, it was so detailed I was like a fly on the wall. The world was well thought out and felt like you were living right along with everything happening, it was unique in its own way. the characters are so well developed that I even felt like I know them a little bit on a personal level. The book starts off with foreshadowing and it was captivating that this book gripped me and held me till the end. It’s a fantasy world with monsters and adventure, romance, and so many twists and turns that I was wondering if Selene could get, thou it all. I can’t wait to read more into this series.

What a fascinating story! I was so hooked on this from the start. I did see similarities to Red Riding Hood and Beauty and the Beast. What made it better is that its a darker, cooler story. I loved the characters and how much more of an adventure there was. Gillian just wants to save her brother. She can’t help it if there’s a hot, dragon to fall for. The writing was very well-done. It kept me engaged through the whole story. I want some more of these stories.

Falling for a star in the city is the first book that i have read by this author. falling for a star in the city is book two in the stars in the series but i have not read book one but i was still able to follow along just fine. Since i really enjoyed book one i would suggest if you start with book one. This was a wonderful young adult hockey romance. I really enjoyed the setting and following Paige’s character i really enjoyed reading about her and Viktors love and life’s adventures. I’m a romance fan i read a lot of it and this hockey romance i would put at the top of my list. So if you think this is your cup of tea i highly suggest you add this to your TBR list. Thank you to this wonderful author for writing this wonderful read i look forward to reading more books by you.

Drew meets Katie, they bond over drinks at a fancy costume party then meet again when walking their dogs. There’s an instant attraction but Katie is friends with Drew’s sister so should he stay away? Drew has so many plates spinning he’s not sure he can factor in a girlfriend too. Katie finds out Drew is known among his friends as ‘Mr. Casual’, can they really be together? I loved this! Katie is such a relatable character and I really liked her. This has everything I need in a book; spice, sex, twists and turns and great characters! This is a must read!

From the description, I knew this book would be filled with many twists and turns, but what I wasn’t expecting was to be drawn into an unique series that will have everyone glued to the pages. The settings of Victorian London and more were so well written and vivid I felt like I was there and I didn’t want to leave! Barnett is such a creative and great author I would love to look more into her work. Her writing style had me hooked from the first page! The exchanges between Simon and Gaelan kept the story moving and it touched upon so many different things I really enjoy like celtic lore and steampunk. I am very excited that Barnett is releasing a second book in this intriguing and wonderful world!

I rather enjoy this author. I also enjoy these particular books by this author. I’m glad this one ties back to previous books. Casting Vows brings the reader back in time where amongst these characters Menage relationships are common. It makes the books interesting. The ebbs and flows of the different situations. This one even more so because of the way it’s broken down. Nico has a dear friend who takes some rather harsh beatings from his drunk father. And the last incident almost killed him. Nico loves Matty and not just as a friend. There’s a deep connection one he would never want to lose. However when they are forced to separate, Nico & Matty are both devastated. Not wanting to be away from the other. At the same time it was the only way to keep Matty safe. Eden was in San Francisco to go to nursing school, but that was what she really wanted? It was brought to her attention by Nico’s need to ask questions that she realized what she was truly doing. It was an escape. A getaway from the ranch she grew up on. As for Nico he’s her everything, but all that’s about to change now that Matty is back. Will Eden be accepting of an unorthodox relationship? Matty lived his life in the church after being whisked away for protection. So how can just seeing Nico again leave him with the urge to throw it all away. He’s the love of his life, yet he’s engaged. Though he feels attracted to Nico’s fiancee. So he’s going to have some tough decisions to make. Do they connect and become one? Is Nico really going to walk away from the Catholic Church? Plenty of questions and so many answers. People who have read these books will be happy to learn that Nico is the son of one of our previous menage couple’s book. If not this book works well as a standalone novel but it’s more fun to start at the beginning.
They were right! I do need to go back and read the first book! I absolutely loved this slow burn romance! Trian and Lady Claire’s relationship is O M G! This book has everything a girl could ever ask for weaved into the perfect gripping tale. You definitely can read this as a stand alone but why would you want to?! I was moved by Kellehers writing and characters! I will definitely be looking for more books by this amazing author!

This is like perfect timing finding this self help book about Weight Loss and Exercise. I have a goal for weight loss next year for myself and for a family trip. After reading this quick but information filled book. I have a better understanding of what needs to be done to rework my habits and lifestyle. The author was 100 % right when she said that the key is re-adjusting your thinking. I definitely have a lot of work to do mentally and physically and this book has helped me immensely. One of the parts of this book that I need to remember is that taking small steps is important, and not a bad thing. I also would look to get this author’s other book, the Action Workbook. I think it will go well with this to help you along your journey.

Interesting is just the tip of the iceberg on how to describe this book. While I’ll admit I don’t often read many historical fantasy books, this one just grabbed my attention. The author’s incredible talent in weaving so many things into the perfect package was flawless. Simon Bell, Gaelan Erceldoune and Anne Shawe each bring their own perspective to the story. Simon tried everything to save his wife, but nothing worked, when he was unable to follow her, he must figure out what to do next with his life. Five years pass and rumors give Simon a purpose, to find Gaelan and start trying to figure out what made them immortal and how can they undo it. Thus, the hunt for the missing manuscript begins. Time passes and a modern-day pharmaceutical company finds diaries describing what the Bedlam inmates endured. Suddenly, Gaelan is drawn to a geneticist Anne Shawe the brings more mysteries and discoveries. How is Anne’s family connected to the manuscript? Will Simon and Gaelan find a cure to their immortality? Everything about this book pulls you in. The beginning is slow but honestly all the greatest books and discoveries had a leadup. Once things pick up its full immersion as the author takes you through the twists and turns of not only historical aspects but how they compare to modern ones. How the characters grow and evolve throughout leaves you ready for more but feeling complete if a sequel doesn’t come. I struggled in many ways on how to write this review without giving anything away but honestly my heart is still racing and so is my mind.

This was a very interesting read. Good world building with the Realms inside the Veil. I wasn’t sure about the storyline at times, but it ended up connecting well and as the reader, you get invested in the characters like Selene and Rayden right from the beginning. And then you begin to get attached to others like Sirius, Nevaeh and Tiffany. This is a dystopian fantasy fiction novel and the first in the series. Overall, I found it very interesting and a good read.

I loved reading part two! Katie ( K.C. And Chamberlain saw eachother at his fight at the end of part 1. Now they are in the same state and Chnerlain will stop at nothing to get his girl back. He has never stopped Loving her or looking for her. Will they get a second chance after all this time with all the secrets ? Will Katie be able to tell him why she left and what she found out right before she left? I. The last 4 years so much has changed for both of them. He is a well known, well respected fighter and she is….well a mom to a little girl! Katie may have run out and not Looked back but As fate would have it, They are both at the same water park, at the same time. That is when Chamberlain sees Marissa.
So much happens in this book, I was sucked in from the cliffhanger in part one and couldn’t wait to see how their story went.
When Katie’s dad comes out of the wood work claiming that he has Katie and Chamberlain’s support, when neither of them want anything to do with her family after what pain they caused them, chamberlain vows to make everything right and see the record straight. This series is quite addicting and cannot wait to see what happens in future books and how Scott and Beth get along. Another great 5* read. Looking forward to more!

Rock Crush and Roll by Hunter Snow. This is the first novel by this author and I’m sure it won’t be her last. It was so good, I was turning pages way after dark! Its the story of Tyler who is a music manager and she is trying to get new talent to boost her career. She has friends and her dog but she does find rock star Cary Kingston really hot. In her career she has found that dating musicians has not ever worked out and created more problems in the long run. Cary is very attracted to Tyler and is determined to break down her walls and rules. Cary is the first rock star that has made her question her rule but she knows it only leads to bad things from past experience. Will Cary be able to break down Tyler’s walls? You get a cool look into the music industry as well in this book which was a cool feature. Also slow Burns are always the best!

Glass Houses is a dark romance by Sinister Styx. This is a short but powerful story of betrayal, mistrust, and revenge. The characters and the story are intense. This story is well-written and draws you in right away. You can see the end decisions coming and you’re screaming at the characters not to do what you know they will. The ending was a great twist and made total sense. I would love to see this as a full book. I was very disappointed when it ended.

I’ve read several books on weight loss so I figured I would give this short book a try as well. The title makes it sound like it has the answer. I know you can’t expect fast results or a miracle cure, but I found this book to just say the basics that we always hear. I did like the fact that it gives you questions to ask yourself and things to think about. I also like the idea of making small choices each day or week. I was hoping for some kind of more detailed plan though. I would not be able to make informed choices on what changes to introduce into my normal daily routine based on this book alone.

This is the second book in A Golden Age of Mystery Book club series. I would recommend reading the first book just so you get an idea of the characters involved but other than that it could be read as a standalone as each case is separate. This is a cosy mystery, filled with intrigue, danger, secrets, lies and deceit all culmantating in a murder mystery that turns out to be just as thrilling as the ones the book club read.
When Lexie’s sister Gayle arrives at her home fearing for her life during the book club meeting. Lexie knew she needs to figure out what was happening. When a dead body is discovered in her garden Gayle confesses she is scared for her life after witnessing something horrific, she isn’t save so she flees again leaving Lexie with a dead body and a mystery that needs to be solved. Who was responsible for the murder? Was is the people who are after Gayle or was it someone closer to home? And with members of the book club hiding secrets and not being who they seem will she get to the bottom of this case? This story gives a nod to the author Josephine Tey which I like how each story pays tribute to a different authors writing style.

The End of Try Try Again: Overcome Your Weight Loss and Exercise Struggles for Good
At this stage of my life I almost like I could be considered a professional dieter. I have been told I was overweight since I was 12, looking back I wasn’t but I didn’t fit the normal body type.
I have tried almost every option available. Paid programs, medications, fasting, etc. but nothing has stuck. This book gave me some things to think about and wish I had found it sooner.
I have been on my most recent journey down the weight loss path since January 2021, while I have successed in not losing focus I haven’t tried much to change my habits. This book has given me some great ideas on how to make decisions and form better habits.
If you’re thinking about losing weight or keep it off, even if it’s a different habit you’re wanting to change I would suggest giving this a try.

This book did have me from the get go- the opening is filled with a flurry of events. I haven’t read any of the other books in the series. I’m not sure if this would work better fit in under publication order, or if it would work better in a timeline order. I liked it, and I’m intrigued enough that I’ll look into the other books in the series when I get time. I’m not much for rockstar romances; but so far so good.
Rock Crush and Roll is a Romantic Comedy that had me turning the pages till the end. This is my first book by this author and their debut novel. I love a good RomCom and this one definitely checks all those boxes. The characters make the story come to life and I felt like I was apart of the story. They are fun, relatable and fully developed. I devoured this book in one sitting because I couldn’t put it down. I’m a huge fan of Rockstar Romance. Tyler has sworn off dating musicians and is a music manager. Cary is the biggest rock star in the world. Can these two have a work relationship without Romance? What will happen when it becomes more than about just work? Can she give in to what heart wants? I highly recommend reading this book to find out what happens next. I’m looking forward to reading more from this Author.

Eden is bound by saving her family vs what her heart wants and she’s conflicted and I feel sorry for her …
Marty is at war with himself to a degree because what he wants isn’t always in line with what is godly , he has so much to give though of himself and if his heart ….
Nicolo reminds me a little of myself and my mindset , and questions I’m asking myself at the moment, he loves fast , wholeheartedly and with everything in him but people don’t always know how to handle that , some are threatened by it others run from it and then you have done that see an opportunity to abuse that beautiful heart and more often than not it leaves one disillusioned and questioning ….
All is not as it seems with this read and I asked myself many questions while reading this and I really struggled with my emotions at times but it’s because I live through my characters so you may experience it differently 🤷♀️
So do you like Fantasy, Romance or a bit of both?? then this fantastic book is definitely for you! This extremely talented author brings her imaginary worlds to life so vividly for us her readers, that you’ll truly be drawn into the Magical realm of Aurelia and believe you are really there with Clare seeing and feeling everything that’s going on right along with her. Chapter after chapter I was drawn more and more into the story so much so that I just couldn’t put it down.

Another Amazing instalment in the Masters of the Consulate series that will keep you turning page after page while keeping you on the edge of your seat. The whole time I was reading it I had such mixed feelings…I wanted to hurry up because I had to know what was going to happen but I also didn’t want it to end. LOL I know we can’t have it both ways but wouldn’t it be good if we could! This book takes us further again into the battle against the rogues and yet more betrayal stings hard. Master Bistrita finds his fated mate in Chara, who proves to be a challenge at times herself. I hope book 12, which will be the exciting conclusion to this fantastic series, isn’t too far away..I just have to know what’s next!!!!!!

This being a new to me author I didn’t know what I was getting myself into, but I was incredibly intrigued by the premise of the story. I can say I was pleasantly surprised. Now this story is short, but it most definitely packs a punch, pulls you in, and doesn’t let go until you’re finished. I went into it blind because I don’t have many sensitivities when it comes to reading, although I can see where someone who does would want to check into the trigger warnings beforehand as Ivy and Falcon definitely sent up some red flags. If twisted, revenge/murder plots, and dysfunctional relationships are your jam I think you won’t regret giving this book a go.
Super quick read, 4 chapters that tells a whole story in a very concise package. While short, there’s tons of detail packed into this story about love, marriage, revenge and regret. Ivy and Falcon are a married couple who keep being reborn because they just keep getting it terribly wrong and leading to each others deaths. Serin and Lantia are in cahoots to bring them down thanks to a plot for revenge that Lantia keeps reenacting to satisfy her anger.
Some nice descriptive writing of a very traumatizing and unhealthy relationship.
I was not sure about this book but it sounded interesting so I decided to read it. I am so glad I did. I could not put it down!!! Moira goes to the town of Allenville to look for her twin sister, Claire, who has disappeared. The town seems like any ordinary town until Moira stumbles on some information at the local library. Could the town really be the home to aliens? This is such a good mystery book that had me loving the characters and the plot.

This author is well versed in fitness and educating those about fitness. This book is educational and easy to follow. Giving the reader a chance to reflect on their own choices and how to make changes that will last.

Rock Crush and Roll by Hunter Snow was a cute and endearing romance story. I really like Cary and Tyler’s romance. They have a lot of similar characteristics although they come from different backgrounds.
Not going to lie the ending of the story made me emotional. I usually on cry during sad stories but this one was so beautiful and genuine that I couldn’t help but get misty eyed.
If you’re looking for a feel good story this one is for you.
