I found this to be a quite fascinating story. Chloe and Amanda meet through their positions at the Museum in Seattle. They are both part of a 3,000 year old prophecy. Through the story, we flash back and forth through time to see how this story develops and goes. It can be a little hard to follow at times but I am a big paranormal fan and loved all the creatures in it: vampires, werewolves… It’s an entertaining story that I enjoyed. I found the characters quite intriguing. The story did engage me from the start. It’s the beginning of the series and I do hope to see more. I want to see where this goes. I recommend it for paranormal lovers out there.

Engaging dystopian adventure An unexpected intriguing read. I was hooked from page one and read late into the night. The world building was amazing and the storyline original. The reader is taken on a dystopian adventure alongside Leora, Roland, Aurora and Leopold as they navigate the Realm in order to survive. There was magic, action, a journey, and witty dialogue throughout the pages and I enjoyed every moment. I am eagerly looking forward to Book 2 of this saga.

MaKayla and the rest of the group are back for year 2 at Grave Digger Academy, which means, no one has been able to transfer out. Eh- that’s probably a good thing since this year, the inter-academy games are happening and with Grave Digger Academy being small, but also on the Crones’ radar, they’re going to need all hands on deck-er-shovels?
Winning the games is really the only way to keep the doors of Grave Digger Academy open, so the choice isn’t really there for this group of students but when the game starts it’s clear something isn’t right. Can the competition end before it’s too late or are the gravedigger’s going to have a new job coming up?
Book 2 was so fun! I really enjoyed reading about year two, but it felt very rushed. The timeline with this book made the school year feel like it started and ended within days of each other, which according to the ending, isn’t what happens.
I would have loved to have more preparation for the competition and more character interactions throughout this book, but overall I’m quite happy with book 2 and can’t wait to see what year 3 brings!

Book 7 is Rock’s story and what a story it was. I am now caught up with the books I missed before discovering this amazing series.
Rock’s story didn’t start out like I expected at all but as we continued on it turned out the way I would have expected for a Satan’s Devils book.
Once again Sierra Kline and Logan McAllister did an amazing job bringing Rock, Becca and everyone else to life. So very excited to continue this series

It’s hard not to continue to fall in love with this series. Rock swears he’ll never find himself an old lady and with so many of the Satan’s Devils slowing down, he finds that he is bored. Rebecca was raised not to think and is forced into marriage with an abusive pastor. The two find each other in the most heartbreaking way. Once again, the series touches on very delicate subjects (abuse, sexual harassment) and may be triggering for some but does an excellent job showing how its not ok and will find for those that are victims. This has me falling in love with each character more and more. My heart hurt when members were injured and happy when good things happen. I’m curious what is going to happen. next and wonder what’s going on with mouse. I’m also wondering what they put in that water as their a fertile bunch of bikers.

This book was a fantastic read. It was a fast and smooth read. It followed along the typical civilization ended and a new civilization began trope but brought its own twist. I loved getting to really know the four main characters as their development and growth throughout the book was wonderfully written. Leora proved that when placed in the worst circumstances, it is all about how you overcome to be the best you can be. Roland found himself falling for the most unlikely of people and grew to be a hero instead of the thief. Aurora is proof that looks don’t simply define a person and her wit and intellect are top of the line. Finally Leopold truly funds himself against all odds and everything he has been taught and ultimately finds his inner emotions and cares for those around him. These four unlikely characters come together to help lead the next revolution. There are so many twists and turns in this book that the ending will make you wanting for more. I cannot wait for book two.

This is a very well written sci-fi novel set in post-apocalyptic times, which I just couldn’t put down. The author did an amazing job of creating an original world full of unique and complex characters. Even with the magical elements, the story had such elements of realism to it. I loved getting to see how Leora, Roland, Aurora, and Leopold all came together and seeing their character development. The story weaves through their past histories and their different secrets as they continue through their journey. It’s a fantastic story with plenty of action, magic, love, and drama. The first book does a great job of setting the stage for a great series! Definitely can’t wait to read the next book so I can see what happens next!

This second book in the series picks up where the first book left off. I liked this book a little better than the first; the characters have more depth, the story doesn’t feel quite as rushed overall, and the reader learns a little more about the other Academies. I really liked that Makayla’s brothers make more of an appearance in Grave Digger Academy II. While Makayla is the youngest and the only girl in her family, she seemed extremely isolated and lonely in the first book; but in this second installment the reader sees that’s not really the case. Her brothers seem to be very protective of Makayla. I love C. A. King and can’t wait for the next book in the Grave Digger Academy series!

This suspenseful romance was definitely an interesting one. While I usually like my romances a little more on the romance side this suspenseful romance had me on the edge of my seat. That is exactly what happens here, Kylee and Jayson grew up together, and had mutual crushes on one another. But what happens when they meet later in life and they are on opposite sides of the law? Rock Bottom is the seventh book in the Satan’s Devils MC Series and I truly enjoyed listening to it. The narrators did an outstanding job of bringing the characters to life and keeping your attention to the end. I’m a huge fan of this author and her style of writing and attention to detail is honestly the best of both worlds. Her characters are well developed and relatable to a certain point. Each story gets better and better than the last and sometimes her stories are raw and uncut and honestly that is what I love the most. This is a MC Romance that once you start listening you mine as well cancel everything until you’ve finished. This is a intense at times story about Rock and Becca . He’s been outted and now finds himself joining a new MC but they let him in only because he has information they want. Becca was forced to marry Hawk and she had no clue what she was in for. These two meet under circumstances that aren’t the best. Can he save her? Can he find his place in this world? You guys I highly recommend listening to this book. If you’re a fan of MC /Romance then this is definitely a author you need to check out. I can’t wait to read/listen to more from this Author.

I wasn’t sure what to expect with I Loved You Yesterday because I typically don’t enjoy second chance romance. Something about this book felt different and I’m glad I gave it a go. I have to admit, I really liked all of the characters in the novel with a soft spot for Austin. I felt that Mavis was a strong, likable character and I liked reading about her friendship with Casey as well. What stood out most to me was the internal dialogue sprinkled within the writing and the alternating perspectives. This is definitely a series/author I would love to read more from.
This book pulled me in right away and kept me entertained. I had a hard time putting this book down. There were some twists and turns, suspense, wonderful characters and so much more. There are some definite lessons to be learned from this story. This book is a great read for all ages. The author weaved a wonderful story that kept me on the edge of my seat and made relatable and believable characters. You don’t want to miss out on this story.
True Colors is exactly how I needed this series to end. If you haven’t already read the other books in the series you definitely need to start there.

Nightfall in Deptford (Crescent Moon Chronicles Book 4) by L.E. Towne. I really enjoyed this book. Its a time travel, historical, mystery. Its about playwright Christopher Marlowe who is about to be at the end of the line due to criminals and spies. Christopher lives in the 1500’s England and Tam the love of his life lives in the present day in Philadelphia as a Homicide Detective. When Christopher survives the plan of his murder it changes the whole course of his life. Tam and her ex travel back in time to help Christopher and fix the timeline of his life so that he will survive. They will have to fight shifters, criminal and many other shady characters to save him. Along with the fact that if they do save him they will change the course of the future. Do they dare save him and change the course of everyone’s future or do they go ahead and let him meet his demise? This is such a unique read full of mystery, suspense, paranormal and time travel. You have to stay on your toes with this one to keep up but if you do its very enjoyable!

When the baby cuckoo hatches, it’s much bigger than Mama herself and this baby eat A LOT! Mama is busy collecting food when a cat stops by for a visit. Baby cuckoo protects Mama’s nest but the neighbor looses a baby. The neighbor decides that baby cuckoo isn’t so bad after all and she’s hoping to gain one next year.
This is a super cute book by an author that I love! The illustrations are very well-done as well. This would be a great teaching tool about birds and egg laying, about friendships, loyalty, trust, and the importance of all lives.

Amazing, through and through. I only feel as though the emotional roller coaster that this series put me through was a little draining, as I would get my hopes up and felt as thought the start to this novel covered me in goosebumps and set a certain outlook for the remainder of this read. This just goes to show how powerful and apt this author is, and her writing style hits home for me, and many others it would appear.
Overall, I cried happy and sad tears, wished for the strength of these characters to float off the pages into my own soul, and snuggled up through a rainy day to finish this novel in one weekend. I have far more respect for those that have to go through discrimination and feel as though I understand different viewpoints more clearly, thanks to these three novels, especially this finale. It really did the best at closing up unanswered questions, tying up lose ends, and making the reader weep with joy. I so very much look forward to reading more of her works of art, and hope that you enjoy it as much as I did. Well done!

This is a gripping historical fantasy novel with a unique time travelling element, which made this a real page turner. Tam Paradiso is a present day homicide detective in Philadelphia, but her lover is definitely not from the same era, as it is playwright, and in this story, monster Hunter, Christopher Marlowe! On the 30th May 1593, Marlowe is destined to meet his demise amongst spies and criminals, but something has gone wrong and the final days of his life have deviated from their destined course, corrupting the proper flow of time in the process. Tam along with a banished fae warrior, and her former lover, Theo North travel back to 1593 to rescue Marlowe from the Tower of London. In order to fix the timeline they plot Marlowe’s escape from the impenetrable White Tower. They must also work out who’s behind the political conspiracy against him, and battle a vicious shifter who has a role to play in his death. If they should succeed, Tam will have to make the awful choice of whether to leave Marlowe to his predestined and tragic end, or risk destroying the future. I didn’t realise this was part of a series and I think it would be beneficial to read the novels in order, so you get a better understanding of the backstory and how the characters are all connected. However, I thoroughly enjoyed this story, the plot kept me hooked from start to finish and the descriptive narrative made both eras come vividly to life. I particularly liked the added historical details which made me feel immersed in the 1593 settings.

This author is something else. I really enjoyed the first installment of this series, really connected with Imani, Melody, and Lance, and found the way that she weaves this installment to build on the amazing foundation, and make it even greater. This group of friends has been through hell and back, and seems like they’re still in for a wild ride throughout.
Not only the drama and happenings in their own personal lives, but also through the world’s issues and beliefs. I find the writing style to be addictive, and found the story to weave a path through my mind so that even when I wasn’t reading it, it still had me whirling with thoughts. I love this series, and cannot wait to continue on this path, as it finally seems like some folks are getting their happily ever after. Highly recommend!

Operation Pinpoint is a wonderfully written Sci-Fi/Romance that is a fast paced short story but once you start reading there’s no putting it down until you’ve finished. This authors style of writing and her attention to detail along with fully developed characters make for a wonderful story. This is a story about Ravenna and Dravos , she’s on a mission to rescue her love no matter the cost and he’s on his on mission which is to find the missing Space Force Vessel. Can these two complete their missions? I don’t want to give away to much so I’ll say this I highly recommend reading this action packed short story to find out what happens next. This is the third book in this series. I highly suggest reading the previous two books before this one to help your enhancement of the series and the characters. I have enjoyed reading this series and look forward to seeing what is next for this author. Thai is a well written story about friendship and how the past can haunt you. I enjoyed being pulled into the story by the characters from the start. They brought the story to life on each page. They kept the story engaging and hard to put down. I found this book to be fast paced which made it easy to read. It kept me turning pages fast just to see what would happen with these three characters. I enjoyed what they brought to the story and their growth is great. This is a great read that I highly recommend.

I enjoyed this historical fantasy story. This is a newer author for me which I enjoyed from beginning to end. I look forward to reading more from them in the future. This is a well written story that has some suspense situations and twists and turns that you don’t want to miss. I enjoyed what the characters brought to the story. How they brought life to the story and gave it a realistic feel. It is a fast paced story that is hard to put down. The characters are creative, unique and I found them to be connectable. There is great growth of the plot which makes the story easy and entertaining to read. This is a great story that filled my afternoon with shifter fantasy and a fast page turner.

Grave Digger Academy year 2 is the continuation of this fun new series by C.A King. The story follows Makayla as she begins her second year at her new school, after the drama of the previous term she is hoping for a quiet year however that is not to be. The Inter Academy Games are about to start, and Makayla and her friends become reluctant participants but there is a gate crasher that is determined to change the rules. I liked this book, it is a fun concept and I really liked finding out more about the other characters such as Frankie and Makayla’s brothers, you also learn a little more about some of the other academies which was a good way of expanding this new magical world. I just wish this book had been longer, I got so engrossed in it, I wasn’t prepared for it to end. Looking forward to the next instalment.

This is a cute story about the true feelings of a hurt kid. I loved how honest it was. To know where we come from, and to know where we are is one of the best things in order to keep going. Great story!

This was an interesting and enjoyable novel. I like the combination of fantasy elements with real-life historical characters. It was easy to follow even though it involves time travel to Elizabethan England. I am familiar with Christopher Marlowe, but mostly in name so I find it interesting to know him from this aspect.. The descriptions were clear and the elements of danger at every turn were realistic. I do wish I had read the other three books (not realizing this was book 4) as I feel it would more fully explain the relationship between characters and their backgrounds in general, but the summaries provided throughout the story are enough to keep me hooked to this one!
