I’m not sure exactly what I expected from this series but the book I started reading was not it. This is a rich story, detailed and complex, steeped in mythological history. The illustrations are absolutely magnificent and compliment the book entirely. The story itself is such an interesting one to read. The author paints such a vivid picture that you can picture it all so clearly. I was so easily lost within the pages, consumed by the story unfolding. This is a fantastic book that I think everyone should read.

This book had me hooked from the beginning. I found it hard to put it down. There were so many different aspects that kept me entertained. I appreciated the warning from the author before reading. Trey is one of the best surgeons around and for all outward appearances is a saint. Everyone who meets him is instantly smitten with him and his charming demeanor. He also does not want to risk police involvement for his own sordid reasons. Before long, Trey has found Hailey and when she explains what her stepfather has done Trey and Hailey decide to team up. Together they follow a trail of money that leads them farther and farther into danger as they unearth dark secrets that put both of their lives at risk.
Trey is the ultimate blend of good guy and bad guy mixed perfectly together in one sexy package. Hailey is a girl on a mission to stop her stepfather from his self-serving ways. Together Trey and Hailey make a great team as they fight evil and corruption together. I really enjoyed reading to see what would become of them and if they would realize their feelings for each other. I was intrigued by the secrets they unravelled and completely thrown off guard by the twist at the end. I highly recommend this book!

Mia was reluctant to ask Nico for his help and unsure if she can trust him but is desperate for love and protection, things she no longer has since her mother passed away. Tired of being abused and used as a pawn in her father’s sick games she feels there is no other option.
Although Nico and Mia come together in one of the most unlikely of ways the attraction between them is undeniable. The author does a great job of unfolding the story of Nico and Mia as she builds up from that initial attraction they feel for one another and how that attraction builds into love. It seems Nico has finally found a woman who can penetrate the thick armour he has built up around his heart and Mia has finally found someone to love and protect her. As their story unfolds the reader is drawn into a world of crime, danger, suspense, action, and romance. A must read!

This was an amazing book. I really couldn’t put the book down. The couple, they seemed like they were not meant for each other, but they start this bonding relationship and they start liking each other. This book starts off with promises of anything a romance is really made of. Lady Celia Buchanan is the daughter of an Earl that is looking for love, understanding and acceptance of her secrets from her past. Gabriel Rose is the bastard son of a nobleman that is drawn to Celia. He wants his woman, he thinks his social status is the way to go to get her. The two in the couple fall for each other, this is the opposites attract type romance and in so many good ways in this book. Their attraction is super strong, they are an alpha and gives his girl the comfort a lady really needs and deserves. April Moran writes a very well start for her series I do recommend this book if you like a very well written romance with all the spicy details.

I simply couldn’t stop reading once I started. The first few chapters were a little slow, as was I in the uptake. I love how the book switches views between the 2 main characters. It is both frustrating and pulls you in all the more wondering how the others perspective ties into the whole story. I both cried and laughed out loud reading this book. I cannot wait for the next in the series. Although it is great as just a stand alone!

I really enjoyed this book. It is a story of how opposites attract and enemies become lovers. The glamorous singer, Leah, has a hidden history. Dominik, who is in the Bratva brotherhood, tries to steal from Leah, but it gets botched. Now he needs to find out Leah’s history in order to have leverage over her to keep her quiet. This book has romance, suspense and keeps you on the edge of your seat the whole way through.
**BOOK CONTAINS TRIGGER WARNINGS** Holy hell! I could not stop reading this book! This is the first I’ve read of Lindsay Murray, but it definitely won’t be the last! The thought that she has put into her characters, plot, setting, descriptions, everything is just phenomenal. She sucks you in from the beginning and doesn’t let you go. I absolutely love the way she deals with the dark and heavy topics of mental health, abuse, kinks and proclivities, etc. She does it in such a professional, yet normal and relatable way. There is no shaming of any kind. And I am very impressed with the way she took the time to put the trigger warnings at the beginning of her book and she goes into detail about them so the reader is very aware of what they may come across and can make an informed decision about whether or not to proceed. Murray has my utmost respect for that. I love the dynamic between Reuben and Alice and how as a reader your heart is jerked back and forth between the two. You’re mad at one for what they are doing to the other…then you’re mad at the other one because now they are being an idiot. It’s just magical the way Murray can make you feel all the feels for these characters. Just know that you will cry, cuss, cry some more, be happy, be mad, be heartbroken, and be happy again…all within a matter of chapters! I cannot recommend this book enough! I had to find out what was going to happen but I didn’t want the story to end! This book will not only make you face your deepest, darkest desires, but also your deepest, darkest demons.

Brilliantly written and based on a true story this book was one for the heart. Based in World War II, it is the story of a young girl’s life when the Nazi’s invaded France. A tale of courage, hardships, family ties and the fight for survival. The author has given a voice to past with a sensitivity that is to be admired. I was drawn into the story from start to finish. Highly recommend.

The fifth book in the Titans of Manhattan series and we have Alessia and Kristopher’s story. Kris is an interesting Titan as he is the one who is already settled down, but not in a happy way. This book is a contemporary romance with the Titan stamp of darkness (some trigger warnings) and steam. I have loved all the books from this author and I look forward to more.

Dragonslayer Dragon Heart is the first book in the Dragon Heart Series (Audiobook) and I absolutely enjoyed listening. From the very beginning I was pulled in and I found myself caught up in the story. The narrator did a fantastic job of bringing the characters to life and keeping your attention. The different tones pulled me in and had me on the edge a couple of times. There’s definitely some chemistry between them. What will happen when the one man you fall for turns out to be the who was destined to kill you? Saxton and Orelle will soon find out what their destiny has in store for them. I highly recommend listening to this fast paced, action packed Fantasy/Romance to find out what happens next. This is a new author to me but I’m definitely looking forward to reading more from them.

This book is book one of the trilogy. This is a new to me author but I couldn’t get enough of this book! I can’t wait to see how the rest of the series continues.
This story is a second chance romance but it’s not as simple as that. Love never is though. I don’t want to give too much away because honestly, you just have to read it but there is lots of emotion and secrets. The dynamic between all of the characters really pulls you into the story. Mavis left to spare Josh but confided in his brother, Austin. Josh will stop at nothing to fight for what he knows he deserves. Even if that means going against his brother. What choice will Mavis make?
I was sucked into this book! It was so engaging and I felt invested in the characters and the outcome. I can’t wait to see what happens next.
This is the first book I have read from this author and she now has a new fan. I love a good teen romance but she exceeded all my expectations. This is the first book from the Modern Day Fairy Tale series. I was hooked from the first page and I could not put it down. I would love to see this on the big screen one day. I can’t wait to see what she is going to write next.

The story teller makes the story and the narrator for this audiobook is proof of that. A smooth, mellow, and enchanting voice flowed chapter by chapter and I enjoyed listening. I loved the story of Apollo and Orelle. You could feel the intensity of their chemistry and attraction beyond the fated pull between them. Tensions are high as they both harbor the secrets that link them. Apollo is determined to regain his soul… but he has to go through Orelle to reclaim it. Has the dragon met her slayer, and will fate determine otherwise?

The Naget family have a motto “We do what must be done” and I am here to tell you I completely agree because what must be done is you MUST read this book! I know I have mentioned in previous reviews I have written when a book has had me captivated from start to finish and while that is very true with this book what was even more meaningful to me was that my whole heart was fully engaged in every single written word. I don’t know for sure that even in my most vivid imaginings I could truly understand what this family has gone through but this extremely talented author presents this story to us in such a way that we are given the best opportunity possible to ever understand and feel this families experience. Azreya, Aztec Princess: An Illustrated Mythology Legend by Tricia Copeland is a wonderful illustrated historical fantasy interwoven with mythology, mysticism, and gives a window into the Aztec culture, daily life, and their religion- with beautiful illustrations which help to bring this story to life. This adventure is really well-woven, as expected from this talented author, and I love the mysteriousness and intrigue that came with all the Aztec elements. The scene-setting and world-building are first-rate! Ms. Copeland’s attention to detail, clever and imaginative touches, and wonderfully descriptive details succeeded in pulling me into the story and making me feel like I was right there experiencing everything alongside the characters. As I have discovered previously, Ms. Copeland is a talented author who never fails to deliver a complex and captivating story. Matt Maes beautiful, bright, and intriguing illustrations definitely helped to take this story to the next level. Hope to see these two talented people collaborate again! Looking forward to seeing what Ms. Copeland has in store for us next!

You definitely have to read these books in order. So, all these .5 in the book numbers and more than one prequel is doing my head in so let me try to get it straight.
Insatiable Darkness is Book 0.5 in the Vigilant series and the prequel to Caged Fire Book 1 both are EmVee’s story.
Unbreakable Darkness is Book 1.5 in the series, but actually takes place at the same time as the first two books. It is Dexter’s story and is actually the prequel to Scepter of Fire Book 2. I know there are other books but I will worry about them later. Hope this helps.
These books are YA paranormal supernatural stories mixed with fantasy and science fiction. There is adventure and suspense, betrayal and mystery, danger and sacrifice, paranormal beings/creatures and magic and much, much more in this fast-paced and action-packed tale.
Dexter finds himself staring Trouble in the face more than he likes but unfortunately it seems to find him where ever he goes. Now it’s time to face it head on he only hopes he survives to tell the tale.
It took me a while to get into the flow of these books but now I am intrigued.

Tricia’s passion for the subject matter shines through in the narrative.
It is a journey back in time when the Aztec were thriving but impending doom has been foreseen. Little is known about them and their ways but Tricia helps us learn more about them as we journey along with Azreya who is fighting to help her people thrive and survive.

Darcy is a fire woman and has worked hard to prove she is as good as any man. Since she is used to working with men, she is always out to prove herself worthy of her place in the department and she is darn good at it.
So much happens in this book that will keep you captivated and reading into the night. You will be shocked and appalled by some of the scenes but are necessary to the character enhancement. You will cheer for Peg and Darcy as they struggle to do what is right. This is a MUST read book.

This is a new to me author and I enjoyed this book alot. It was definitely very angsty and I didn’t agree with all of the choices made by the mcs but I was looking forward to seeing how it all played out as the story progressed. We get to see if love really conquers all and some the hardships people go through for the ones that they love. I am looking forward to reading more by this author in the future! Happy Reading!
I Loved You Yesterday is a raw emotional journey. This second chance contemporary romance is a love triangle where brothers are involved. Yikes! It is fast paced with lots of steam, passion and drama. This tale is complex yet beautifully woven together to give the reader a story that will stay with them.
Although I fell in love with the characters there were times I didn’t know if I wanted to hug them or throttle them but all in all they are really well written and relatable.
The heart wants what the heart wants.
This award-winning debut novel has thrust Julie into the limelight in a spectacular way and I know once readers have gotten their hands on this book, they will fall in line waiting for what comes next, I know I will.

This is the first book that I have read by this author, so I really didn’t know what to expect from one of her books. But as I love a great second chance story I took a chance and snapped up a copy and I am so glad that I did. This proved to be a wonderful second chances romance, with a bit of a love triangle, secrets, heartache, challenges, some angst, drama, and plenty of emotion. Bring on Book #2- “Love You Today”! This book was a great read. I enjoyed how the author used the common language from the time period and country in which the book took place. It was not one of those books where the author says it takes place in Europe, yet all of the mannerism and speech is just like it is here in the U.S.
This book is entertaining and fun getting to see the story unravel from the perspective of both of the characters. The author does really well with the descriptions of the area and the characters, making it easier to visualize what is happening. Also witnessing how they affect each other and help the other one grow.
This book follows the story of a girl that has loved a boy for years and finally gets a chance with him. Their relationship did not start out how you would expect a normal relationship to start. Although you will learn throughout the story that Anna is not your average woman of the late 90s. She is headstrong and determined to make her keep, rather than being a kept woman at home.
Phillip is a smart and well of man from a highly respected family. Has known Anna for ages but never saw anything there until an unexpected event occurs. How does this man develop feelings for an independent woman that is decades ahead of the times for women? You will just have to read this amazing book to find out.
