What a fantastic addition to my library! From beginning to end I just loved how the story moved and developed. Witty and engaging, this author is definitely added to my must watch list. What a great escape!

Jake the Growling Dog Shares His Trail: A Touching Tale of Sharing, Disability Awareness, Kindness, and Overcoming Fears by Samantha Shannon
5-stars
I am the biggest fan of the Jake the Growling Dog series; each book is an absolute must read for children. As a mom to two little boys, I have read countless children’s books but this series takes the cake. The beautiful illustrations keep my kiddos entertained and they have so much to learn from the storyline. These stories have such beautiful messages and I’m so glad to share them with my children.

I have to first say thank you to my friends who introduce me to new authors. Without friends that love to read like I do there would be no new authors in my world. Maria Elena Alonso-Sierra is an incredible writer. Throughout this book I felt like I was in the middle of all of the action. Nick Larson and his partner Victor Sacco are detectives with the homicide unit. Their cases start with a suicide victim and then move on to homicides. Nick, and his infallible intuition, says that all of the cases are connected, even an old case could be part of this mess. Then add into this the love of Nick’s life, Laura and her sister who causes trauma whenever she can and you have to keep reading to see what is going to happen next. Nick, Victor, and Laura are wonderful characters, and all of the supporting characters keep you turning pages with laughter, questions, and so much reality.

Boy Released by J.D. Spero a fantastic four-star read. This one takes place a number of years after the first story Boy on Hold and tells just as a compelling story, dealing with mental health in an honest and refreshing manner, and it is best if you read that one first, as it gives you a deeper understanding and gets you used to the writing style, as the different POV’s can be challenging, but it does add something to the story, more than just the overall view, it adds more drama to me. This is a great story, and one that stays with you as you read.

Master Tuscano: Dark Vampire Romance (Masters of the Consulate Book 2) had me hooked from the first sentence. Sylvia Black won me over with the first book in this series and she now has me totally hooked and waiting not so patiently for more.
This book truly has it all…Vampires, Witches, Shifters, Action, Hot Romance, Revenge and plenty of Drama along the way. The love and devotion between Christian and Delilah, their bond and need to love and protect each other is wonderfully written into these characters and shines through even while dealing with so much going on around them.
This series is truly not to be missed…get reading today!!

This book!!! Absolutely loved this book! I managed to read this book before the first book and will be fixing that ASAP! This book was pure perfection. C.R. Robertson knocked this book out of the park. Tasha and Levi are amazing characters and I could not get enough of them.

4Stars HER DARK LOVE (DARK SPELL SERIES Book 4) by ISRA SRAVENHEART
Her Dark Love is the fourth book in the Dark Spell Series by Isra Sravenheart. I was pulled in from the beginning and had a hard time putting it down till I finished. I do recommend reading the first three books in this series if you haven’t already started them as it will give you a better understanding of what is going on and help with the characters and their back story. Lady Irsa hasn’t always been on the dark side she once had a light side. She finds herself faced with having to go back to the light side before she finds herself having to stay in the dark side like everyone thinks. Find out what happens next in this absolute must read. It’s my favorite yet. I can’t wait for the next book in this series.

This is a great YA book. I enjoyed this sequel and look forward to the next book in the series. There was a lot of action and excitement. The character’s really developed and grew throughout the book. Lucy is a strong character who handles all that is thrown at her fairly well for her age. This is definitely worth the read.

This book has been an experience for me. I haven’t read many Sci-fi Multiverse Space books, but let me tell you I was hooked in right away! The author takes such care building the characters up between book 1 & 2 that you can picture these three college friends (Matt, Julia, and Dan) joking around and poking fun at each other. He connects them in a way that shows you their friendship and how they handle their hardships together along their journey that it grabs you and you can’t wait to see who does what next! You don’t NEED to read book one before you read this book, BUT I really recommend reading it!!. Book one shows you so much about each character, their species, each of their journeys, and much of their training and abilities being learned and used throughout both books. I’m not going to spoil anything but I enjoyed all the details brought to life in this set. I can picture some of the scenes like they were on cavus. You can tell that the author really put time in building each character, the worlds and scenes, the spacecrafts and their technologies, and even the knowledge behind the teachings and meditations. Again I haven’t read many books of this type, so some of the space lingo I was new to, but I picked it up pretty fast and I’m so glad that I did. You will love this journey and the race to save the world and more. Will these college friends, with the help of others, save everyone in time? Will they survive all their trails along the way? Or will they fail and doom multiple worlds? Buckle up for a Journey through space and time!!

Journeys Through TimeSpace by James Talisman is exactly the ‘more’ that I wanted from book one of the series!! I was super excited to be able to see some of my favorite characters brought back and learn more about their past, present and future! This is a complex book that you will not be able to put down. I read this book twice! The amount of detail the author was able to give readers with stories that jump back and forth was risky but it truly paid off. It had me hooked. I cannot wait to read more from this author!

Sweet Nightmares (The Dream World Chronicles Book 1) by Chynna Pace 4 Stars
The first thing that caught my eye was the cover. It’s gorgeous! After reading the blurb, I was intrigued. I had never read a book by this author so I decided to give her a chance. I’m so happy I did. The story was different than the usual vampire/ werewolf. It is a YA fantasy novel that incorporates polish folklore. I love when authors can use lesser known evils in their stories. I feel like I’m reading something new. Don’t get me wrong, I love a good vampire story but it’s a little overdone. This story was refreshing and original.
The characters are unique, some you love right away and others grow on you. For me, the villain was quite obvious but the author added a twist to it which I didn’t suspect. I found at times the author was a little too descriptive. For example, she didn’t need to describe every item in the paint store. There were a few paragraphs that I skimmed over. All in all, it didn’t take away too much from the story itself, which I enjoyed. Everything is tied up nicely at the end but still left open so the author can take us on more adventures. I’m looking forward to seeing where this series takes us.

This was such a sweet story of two people whom never planned to fall in love, or well meet and most certainly did. The chemistry more than sizzled, and when they were together it was as if it was truly meant to be, even if neither of them knew it right away.
Brody meets Willabelle one night thinking she is a intruder. After the whole mess got solved they found well there may be more attraction under the skin than meets the eye at first glance. They begin thru their times together that this could possibly be the real thing Were their hearts caught in more than just an mutual attraction? To be together, would not be easy From the lives or the drama they came from, or the heart ache even. They would have to work through and really fight for what they have going. The question is though would they stay together despite even if the odds are against them?
The story was so sweet and a lot of heart. Falling in love with Willabelle and Brody was so easy to do. They both were likeable characters even if one was basically the girl next door, and the other was the town bad boy. Both brought a lot of chemistry and I was hoping for a happy ending for them both!
The author bought two beautiful souls for a quick but but full happy feelings love story. I really felt a bond with the characters, and it was a nice read I would say. I really enjoyed the author’s writing. I read through quickly, as I wanted to see how the turn of events would affect everything and everyone. I enjoyed this book very much and look forward to read more by this author in the future!

Ride For Me is book one in the North Shore Crew series by Vi Summers. I was excited to try this new to me author’s work, as I was taken in by the blurb of the story instantly. I eagerly devoured this story, falling for the main characters and loving the way the author had weaved their tale. This story will have your heart breaking, your imagination wandering, your inquisitiveness at a maximum, and your complete investment. The author has a way with words that kept me captivated and desperate for more. Suspenseful and passionate, this story was a whirlwind of emotional drama. Danger is ever present and I was kept guessing. Gage and Lil were a dynamic couple that mesmirised me and filled my heart with an overpowering sense of everything. I felt a lot while reading Ride For Me, and all of it so good. A stunning romantic suspense that was breathlessly hypnotic. 4 stars.

Book Review: Dating the Intern Author: Natalina Reis FOUR STARS This is a charming fake boyfriend romance that of course has a happy ending. Ms. Reis weaves a wonderful story about a dating service and how Ivy gets selected by a TV station to promote it. Having been put down and insulted by her Father her entire life, Ivy has self-esteem issues and finds compliments hard to accept and believe. Li Qiang is one of 3 kids and has found himself in love with Ivy. The difficult part is that he is an Intern and she owns the company. This book is sweet and endearing. KLH

Dating the Intern by Natalina Reis is a romantic comedy for people of all ages that will make you laugh, cry, and believe in love all over again.
Ivory Tower is the successful owner and CEO of an online dating agency that takes delight in finding genuine love for its clientele. Except for herself, everyone. Ivory has a dilemma when a TV studio wants to feature her firm live on television; she can’t find the boyfriend she needs to avoid seeming like a fake. Ivory thinks her problem has been addressed when Li Qiang, her ten-years younger and toe-curlingly beautiful intern, agrees to masquerade as her lover, but getting out of this position will need more than the ideal algorithm. Li Qiang is both easy to love and difficult to forget, and the issue remains whether he truly loves her or is just playing his part.
I loved this story. I loved every page of it. Every chapter was exciting. This is the first book that I read by this author and I can’t wait to read more.

Oooo Suspenseful! This was a great audiobook! This awesome audio kept me interested through out the whole of the story and I loved the main characters. It takes some guts to run from nightmarish things that are in your life and that’s exactly what Gianna does. She was brave & strong & she was the reason that I liked this story so much! The narrators were great in this one. Such good, smooth voices that I will definitely be looking forward to listening to in future audios. Great choices by this author! I cannot wait to get my hands on more by this author & I am definitely going to pick up more of her audios! If you’re interested in a Suspense filed Romance this one is perfect! Happy Listening!

Hazard in Hawaii (A Doctor Danger Mystery Book 1) by Heather Silvio is a paranormal mystery story. This interesting and intriguing storyline is full of the supernatural and danger, suspense and action and wonderful and unusual characters. They are unique, fun, and original as is the story. This adventure takes us to Hawaii where we uncover deep hidden mysteries and learn their lore’s and mythologies along the way. The story is a little predictable, but that didn’t detract from me enjoying it. This is a fun start to the series, and I liked that it features old friends from the Paranormal Talent Agency series. Heather provides stories that you don’t want to put down.

Effacement by Hieronymus Hawkes is a sci fi dystopian thriller. It makes you wonder how far off we are to facing the same sort of thing in the future. I feel we are definitely headed that way if not already almost there. This is Hieronymus’s debut book, and it is well worth the read. The plot is complex, clever, and well executed. I was fully immersed in this compelling fast-paced story where technology is the power player. The characters are all well-fleshed out. Conspiracies, forgotten memories, on the run, danger, drama, thrills and so much more is what you get as you journey along with our MC.
Hieronymus world building is interesting and intriguing and keeps you on your toes in this futuristic tale.
Dating the Intern by Natalina Reis is a sweet rom com where there is an age gap between the characters. Not that that stops the fun. I really enjoy Natalina’s stories because they are fun, sassy, sexy and an easy read. They are easy to get lost in for an afternoon of peace and quite and a glass or two of your fav beverages. She needs an instant relationship to make her look good for her dating company and he is an intern and happy to help. What ensues will make you laugh, swoon and barrack for them.

I could not get enough. This is the second installment of the Shadow Chronicles series and it is just as amazing as the first. If you thought book 1 had a huge plot twist than book two will throw you through many more! I love love love the love story between Levi and Tasha, but I love that this series goes beyond them and into the politics of Lycans Vs. Vampires. However, there are more lies behind their history than originally thought and this book expands on that. With the Hellspawn knocking on their doors will they be able to uncover the truths of such a secret history before it’s too late? Read to find out what happens next and trust me you will NOT regret it!

The God was a really good read. It was enthralling and kept me interested throughout the whole book. I have one complaint though. The sex scenes. I don’t understand how someone has transcend realms and have dream sex like that. That was very weird to me. But besides that strange occurrence throughout I really enjoyed this novel! And I think my favorite character so far in this book was Gorgonita. She was so awesome and I thought hilarious as well. I thoroughly enjoyed this sequel and can’t wait to read the next!

Forbidden Mate is the second book in The Shadow Chronicles series by C.R. Robertson and impresses just as much if not more than the first! Robertson continues to develop the characters personalities as they continue the fight against the mysterious creature targeting both Lycans and Vampires. They also are in the ultimate fight to save their relationship, which causes bad blood between the Lycans and the Vampires. The thing I both hated and loved the most was seeing the storyline between Tasha and Levi wrap up, because I had grown very fond of the two characters. I’m definitely looking forward to the next book in the series, there are a lot of unanswered questions I am curious to see answers to!

Dangerous Curves Boxed Set 1: 3 Cozy Christian Mysteries by K.L. Montgomery is such a fun way to spend an afternoon curled up with a great read. This boxed set contains the first three books in the Dangerous Curves series, so it is a great way to plunge into the series and really get a feel for the characters and Ms. Montgomery’s wonderful writing and storytelling. Not to mention the fact that it’s great value for money- three books in one! I fell in love with our quirky librarian, Sunshine Baker, right from the get go- she is such a great character. She and the rest of the Bryce Beach gang really make these stories all the more interesting and fun. This is one series that I will happily one-click no questions asked- as I know that what ever Ms. Montgomery produces, I am going to love. This Boxset contains:
Betrayal at the Beach: A Cozy Christian Mystery is the first book in the Dangerous Curves series. Sunshine is thrust into danger, when she investigates the theft of a priceless town artefact and the proceeds of the annual fundraising ball. With the help of her friends, they are determined to get to the bottom of it all before it’s too late.
Mystery at the Marina: A Cozy Christian Mystery is the second book in the Dangerous Curves series. Again, Sunshine are her friends are thrust into a mystery that has them investigating the sudden and mysterious death of the local marine life which is washing up on the shore. But things get a bit complicated, and definitely not what they seem. Are Sunshine and her friends up to the task?
Shooting at the Shore: A Cozy Christian Mystery is the third book in the Dangerous Curves series. Trouble never seems very far away for Sunshine Baker and her friends. This time a murder disrupts town life and brings danger with it. Can Sunshine figure it out in time?
I am really looking forward to the rest of the series to see what Sunshine and the gang get up to next!!!
Forbidden Wolf by C. R. Robertson places a spin in the classic Enemies-to-Lovers genre, making it an intriguing read. I’ve already started the next book in the series!
From the moment vampire Tasha and lycan Levi encounter each other in a near-death situation in the forest between their bases, their future is changed forever. After a memorable summer, their adult destinies tear them apart, and many years pass before they encounter one another again. But they find that one another has changed, and question their initial attraction to one another, until Tasha realizes something that Levi did years ago and their lives change even more.
Will the battle between the Lycans and Vampires and a mysterious new foe keep them apart, or do they drift together once again, proving that if you let the one you love go, they will find their way back to you if it is truly meant to be?

Unbreakable (The Diamonds Book 1) by Tee Smith was my first read by Tee Smith and I can honestly say that I was not disappointed. The cover alone was enough to snag my attention, combine that with the synopsis of the book and I just knew I had to read it. This book is a contemporary romance but it’s filled with so many twists that you could never put it down. This contemporary romance has angst, drama, mystery and so much more. The characters are incredibly well developed and the plot is woven perfectly, I for one can’t wait for book two.

Oh my word – this book!! I love a good cozy mystery and this beautiful work fell into my lap at the best time. I loved how it started. I was immediately pulled in and immediately connected with our main character. She is sassy and spunky and makes cat costumes – how awesome is that?! Just loved this book and cannot wait to read more from this author.
