I have no words for this amazing book! This is the second book in Shannon’s The Travelor series and it is absolutely amazing! I was on the edge of my seat with each page, desperate to find out what happens next! I absolutely loved the first book Chimera Rebellion and impatiently waited for this sequel! I wholeheartedly recommend this series to anyone who loves fantasy books that mingle in with history. This book deserves its 5 star review, and much like I did with the first I am dutifully waiting for the next book! I love Shannon’s work, and can’t wait for more!

To start with, I had not read the first book so I did not have a stepping ground and got pulled into the middle of the action. It took me a while to figure out who is who, but once that is sorted, the book was rock and roll! The story transports the two main characters Katie and Colm to 1779 Savannah, where they are pulled into a world of deception, danger and lies, and an old enemy. There is a prophecy to be fulfilled and there is suspense in every step they tread on. Katie has to figure out whom to trust and whom not to. Colm is to make a choice, which will decide the course of history. It is overall a very gripping read; I only wish I had read the first book so that I can understand this one better. I will surely pick up the previous book very soon!

Wrapped Up In You by Erin Bevan was a romantic and engaging read. This book really put me in the holiday spirit and its July. I loved it. A bright spot of happiness in all this pandemic madness. This book had excellent characters and was a unique perspective on the traditional Christmas holiday. Each character had great personality and was realistic. I found that the storyline had an easy flow with great transition from chapter to chapter. This truly was an enjoyable read and easily a 5-Star book. I highly recommend it.

Ashes to Ashes Box Set: Books are 1-3 by Rowena Holloway is a collection of books that are exciting to read. The books are all well written with fantastic characters. Each book has its own distinctive storylines that draws you in and keeps you interested. They are full of twists that keep you on your toes the whole way through. I was constantly trying to guess what was going on only for the author to throw a curveball that completely threw me off. These were all the type of books that I just couldn’t put down. They are overall fantastic and I would definitely recommend this series!
Having read the first book in the series I was looking forward to this second book and I was not disappointed, like book one it took me on an epic and exciting adventure through time. This book does continue on from the cliffhanger ending in the previous book, ‘Chimera Rebellion’, however it does provide a ‘Where we Left Off’ chapter to begin the story. This time Katie and Colm are taken on a trip through time to 1779 Savannah, in the midst of the American Revolution. Here they enter a world of spies and magic, and also come face to face with an old foe. The couple still have the book and are still protecting it and to help them with this task Katie finds a tutor to help her learn magic. When an ancient friend appears and seems to guide them, they must decide if he really is a friend. Meanwhile Colm is still battling with deciding which side he is on and must confront his great-great-grandfather to convince him that life without Eleanor is possible. Colm tries to get his ancestor to fight on the right side of history but without revealing the future it’s a difficult task. This second journey seems to be even more dangerous than Katie and Colm’s previous one and they must not only protect the book but save themselves, and stop the prophecy becoming true. This is a fast paced novel which took me on an exciting journey back to the American Revolution. The storyline is full of adventure, suspense and drama along with a little romance, all of which had me hooked. I felt immersed in the story and I loved the main characters, Katie and Colm and how their relationship changed and developed throughout the story. This is a great read and I am now looking forward to book three in the series.

Being Lost is the first book in the Satan’s Devils MC San Diego series. While you can read this as a standalone, you will have a better reading experience if you’ve read Ink’s Devil (Satan’s Devils MC Colorado Chapter #5) to get some foundation for the characters in Being Lost.
I have read many of the Satan’s Devils books and have really enjoyed the author’s ability to weave real life issues into her writing in a way that engages your emotions. That being said, this book did not grab me as much as the others. Don’t get me wrong, it was a great read, it just didn’t have the same intensity as the other books.
I did enjoy the fact that the characters in this book are older and that the author addresses finding love in later adulthood. That’s something you don’t see too often. I’m also enjoying the bit of mystery that has started around who is shadowing the MC.

Wow! This read is utterly compelling from the moment you pick it up right until the very end.
I read this book in one sitting and boy could I have carried on if only it didn’t end! CR Robertson is a new author but will definitely be added to my all time epic must read author list!
After being transported into the world of Purgatory with magic, vampires, witches, incubus’s and a passionate sexy storyline I cannot wait to be transported back there with other books in the series!
I absolutely loved Ilana & Ezekiel story. It was full of passion, seduction, sexiness, magic, suspense, mystery, action & adventure. We were taken on twists and turns that left you wondering what could happen next and left you wanting more! Throughout the read we were taken on a rollercoaster of emotions and loving the characters as much as I did I couldn’t help but feel each of there emotions. We had heartache and loneliness, guilt, fear, anger, pain and loss but I think the thing we felt most that became undeniable to our characters was love, passion, devotion, protection and ultimately the acceptance for the person underneath what everyone else sees.
I loved seeing the change in both our characters from how they were in the beginning to how they become in the end, both of them not knowing they were the best thing to happen to each other to help them become the best version of themselves.
I can’t wait to read the other dark princes stories that we meet in this read to see how much their lives are impacted by the destruction of one person! I highly recommend this read, and cannot praise this author enough with the brilliant captivating storyline she has created along with her amazing characters!

This is the 1st book in the Satan Devils MC San Diego Chapter. It is a great book and introduces you to some new characters as well as some old ones from the previous books.
In the story we follow Patsy and Lost. Patsy is the Mother to Dan (Connor) And Beth who is MC member Ink’s old lady. After the fall out between Dan and the drugs and the connection to Alder the drug kingpin, Dan goes to the police and tells them everything which then means for his safety he needs to disappear.
So Dan and his mother Patsy are moved to San Diego where they fall under the protection of Lost and the San Diego Mc. With Alder still after Dan they try to stay under the radar until it turns out that Alder isn’t after Dan at all but his mother.
Lost is the prez of the MC and he has a hard and heartbreaking past. Suffering a lack of confidence at his ability to guide the club in the right direction he wonders if he has bitten off more than he can chew when he offers his help to protect Patsy from Alder. However, he cant stop his growing feelings for her and despite both their pasts he wants something to work between them. Can Patsy become his old lady or will he be unable to protect her so she had to run again.
It was an amazing story that keeps you gripped as you cheer for them to succeed but also your heart stops at some of the situations that arise.

Bad Things Happen: Gripping Psychological Suspense is the first book in the Ashes to Ashes series by Rowena Holloway. This mystery/thriller is the first book I have read by Rowena Holloway, but definitely won’t be the last. This book had me hooked from the very first page and I just couldn’t put it down until the last. Charlotte Ashe is a local weather babe, trying to rise up in ranks to investigative reporter. Joey Baptist’s is a on the rise soccer player, who ran into some trouble. When Joey contacts Charlotte with a scoop and things start happening, Charlotte doesn’t know who she can trust as she investigates what really happened to Joey. This book had me on the edge of my seat with all the twists and turns.
Less You Know: Gripping Suspense is the second book in the Ashes to Ashes series by Rowena Holloway. This book is full of mystery, action and suspense, it will keep you on the edge of your seat from beginning to end. This book features Charlotte Ashe, an investigative reporter. The action was fast paced, the twists and turns really had me guessing what was going to happen next. I’m really enjoying this series and I have put Rowena Holloway on my permanent TBR list.
From the Ashes is the third and final book in the Ashes to Ashes Series by Rowena Holloway. This psychological thriller had me hooked from the very first page. It was full of twists and turns. I just couldn’t put it down. I would highly recommend you read this series in order. You will love the wild ride. Charlotte is such an interesting lead character, and the plot was so detailed it had me guessing throughout. If you love a great thriller, this is the Box Set for you.
So I was looking forward to reading this. I loved Darts book where some of these characters were introduced. I did struggle a bit with this one. It seemed like a lot of feelings and not much happened til later in the book. I enjoyed learning a bit more about Lost and following the story of a couple who are over fifty. That set a different tone to the story. Patsy was in a bit of a situation but really she didn’t do much for the story. Maybe that’s part of the older characters, I’m not sure. We have met Patsy and Dan previously from Ink’s book. It was fun to see Ink and Beth again. I did like the idea of seeing what happened after their story.
It just seemed most of this story was talked about. There isn’t a lot of action. Maybe it’s the vibe of this club. They just recently had trouble so they are on the down low. Action did pick up near the end. But with Lost’s self doubt even the plans were rehashed numerous times.
This isn’t a favorite and I am saddened by that fact. I wanted to love it so bad. But I just got bored at times.

The Traveler:Chimera Revolution (The Book of Eleanor 2) by Shannon Nemechek. Highly recommend reading these in order. This one picks up right where we finished book one. These characters pull you so completely into their world that I forgot the real world for a while which can be nice. The characters are complex and relatable. They are well developed and you root for them. This author has a wonderful way of keeping readers coming back for more and you can sink into this story and it was definitely difficult when I reached the last page but I’m definitely looking forward to more. It’s a fast paced story but you don’t get lost, well thought out storyline. I’m giving this book four big stars and highly recommend it. Can’t wait to see where this author takes readers next.

This is the second book in the series and picks up where the last one left off, so I’d recommend reading in order. It’s a time-travelling fantasy that’s fast-paced and intriguing. I loved the characters and how they reappeared, and the writing itself flows well. There’s lots of drama but also some emotional moments that really help to pull you into the story.

The Traveler: Chimera Revolution is the second book in ‘The Book of Eleanor’ Series by Shannon Nemechek. It follows on where the first book left off- so I really recommend reading the first book before starting on this one. As with the first book, this is another fantastic time travel fantasy- with magic, mystery, history, intrigue, danger, drama, suspense, action, and adventure. I really enjoyed the first book, so I was looking forward to the release of this book and continuing the story. I am happy to say that this is just as bit as good as the first book and makes me really look forward to reading the rest of the series. The two books have the feel of “Outlander”, but with a flavour and identity all their own. As we discovered in Book One- Katie Butler and her love of old books results in her being catapulted on an adventure through time- on a date with destiny. Katie hears of a rare book which piques her curiosity and she is determined to track it down. This leads to her to being swept back in time- and smack bang into the middle of a war- crossing paths with Captain Colm O’Donnell- changing their lives forever. This story picks up where they left off in book one, with discoveries to be made, secrets to be revealed, choices to be made- all while figuring out what the book has in store for them and their role in it all. It all boils down to one epic adventure. This is another fast-paced story that’s full of intrigue, excitement, suspense, and surprising developments. I loved feeling like I was part of it all, right amid the action, following along as everything played out. Ms. Nemechek really knows how to weave a fantastic tale, creating an impressive stage in which to set her story. Looking forward to seeing what awaits in “The Traveler: Chimera Rising” (Book Three).

I love India Kell’s writing and loved this third instalment of the series. The characters are so well developed and strong, and the relationship between Violet and Finn is dynamic and complex. The plot is fast-paced but suspenseful, and keeps you turning the page. An enjoyable paranormal fantasy.

I loved reading the book The Frontman by Lawrence Parlier. It is a story that is interesting, intriguing, and entertaining. It is a book that pulled me in from the beginning and didn’t let me go until the final page. It is a story that had me turning pages to find out what was going to happen next. The book centers around the death of a musical legend, Kerry Vance. It then gets really interesting when a mysterious woman from Kerry’s past shows up. The story had twists that I didn’t see coming. I enjoyed reading about the characters in the book. The author does a wonderful job of making them come alive. My emotions went up and down the entire time that I was reading this story. The book does have sad moments as well as heartwarming ones too. Don’t miss out on an amazing story that I couldn’t help but think about long after I had finished it. I highly recommend reading it.

Heart of Malice (Alice Worth book 1) by Lisa Edmonds. Alice is now P.I. She was a prisoner in a organised crime syndicate run by Moses, who wants to be the most powerful man on the planet. But after 20 years Alice finally manages to escape by faking her own death. I really enjoyed reading this book and am so looking forward to the next addition in this series I can’t wait to find out more about Alice and continue learning her story. Lisa Edmonds has done a great job with this book, she captivated me from page one. A brilliant read.

I loved reading the book The Princess and the Pit Bulls (The Fairy Tale Series Book 4) by Jody Lynn Daniels. It is a story that is romantic and pulled me in from the very beginning. I loved the characters of Chloe Wheeler and Sebastian Adams. Chloe is a young woman who is intelligent, talented, and has a way with animals. Sebastian is the man who has taken over the veterinary clinic in town. What does the future hold for them? Read this book to find out. This is a story that had my emotions going up and down. Some moments made me sad or angry and others that had me laughing out loud. There are heartwarming and romantic moments. I grew to care about Chloe and Sebastian with each chapter that I read and wanted them to find happiness. I also loved that there are animals woven into the story as well. There are additional characters that I enjoyed reading about the part they play in the story. Don’t miss out on an exciting and entertaining romance story that you will not be able to put down until the final page. I highly recommend reading it.

Although it seems that Eagle of the Empire (Relic Hunters) by Martin Ferguson is a young adult book, I enjoyed it a great deal. I love history and I especially enjoy any fiction book that motivates me to do some further research. The Ninth Legion of Rome provided many rabbit holes for me to trot down. The characters in the story are all strong and intriguing with strong leads into more revelations of each character in the next book. This is a series I will be watching.

I enjoyed reading this book. At first, I was slightly surprised by how dark the book felt, but then it grew on me. The author used this dark feeling well making it easy to develop an empathy for the main character. Each character was well developed with their introduction. I liked how easy this book was to read. I was able to sit down and just get lost in the reading, without thinking. Before I knew it, this book was over. The varied sentence structure really helped me to stay focused. I like how the author changes the tone in this book. It is almost like you see the light and dark, which is a good play on real life with its ups and downs. I recommend checking this book out!

A great first book in a series I can’t wait to read more!

But they show him Matt’s journal which he can’t believe isn’t in Matt’s hands, he rarely lets it out of his sight! This prompts Adam to start searching for Matt. What else Is a younger brother to do?
This is a great YA book full of adventure. I know I would have loved a book like this when I was a teen. I am looking forward to the next book in the series.

I must say I was pleasantly surprised by this story! I haven’t read many holiday themed novels before so I was a bit skeptical in the beginning, but I got over that pretty quickly. These characters were easy to like and The North Pole was written to be an amazingly magical place.

This book picks up where the first one left off and is a suspenseful read. I love where it goes and how we root for Valerie to gain the strength in her life to overcome even the biggest of obstacles like finding out the truth about a serial killer. Valerie is one of those great characters that you just want the best for. The mystery of this book is great and keeps you looking for where it may lead. This book is entertaining, easy to read, unpredictable but in the best ways that make the characters more lovable.

This story pulled me in from the start and I couldn’t stop reading. The chemistry was off the charts between Ilana and Ezekiel but it was more than that. You could feel the love flowing off the pages. I was enthralled with their world and didn’t want to leave. This is a great start to an awesome series. I can’t wait to read book two.

Help Me, Harry by Mya O’Malley was a fantastic read from page one. I was pulled into this story and the characters were a pleasure to read about! I absolutely love hot, steamy, love at first sight, romance stories. This book put my emotions on a roller coaster but I fell head over heels in love with Cassie and Harry and their journey. This was such an amazing book that I can and will definitely be adding this to my reread list!!!

Two Hearts Unspoken Targets (Two Hearts Wounded Warrior Romance Book 11) by Tamara Ferguson is the extended version of the original Two Hearts Unspoken that I read three years ago. It was one of the first books by the writer and was one of the reasons why I fell in love with everything that Tamara writes so I was more than happy to pick up this extended version! You could read all her books as standalones but I warmly insist that you give yourself a go ahead to read them in order as you will meet certain people prior ‘their’ books and there are different back stories and, I promise, you will not regret it a bit! I remember originally thinking that the story was way too short so I was delighted to revisit with Elizabeth (Beth) and Zach and Kyle. It was such a heart warming story of two people who for the longest time have thought that they will never find someone right for them. Add to it war wounds and a divorce and an autistic child and … you get the picture! It is an insta love story and let’s be honest, even though we say we do not believe in love at first sight, deep down we keep our fingers crossed and hope that it is possible. I think it feels real in this story and throughout the story I found myself rooting for Zach and Beth. This story is actually much more than just a simple romance, it touches upon important issues that many people struggle with and that many of us do not have a lot of experience with so I am grateful to the writer bringing the world of wounded vets and the lives of autistic children and their parents closer to us! I have to say now after having read every single one of her Crystal Rock and Wounded Warrior stories that her stories are emotional but at no point do we feel pity for them as they are survivors and an example of how to get back to living to every one of us!
This is my second book by Jacquie Biggar. I haven’t read any other books in the High-Tech Crime Solvers series but I will be going back to read them. I have loved Jacquie’s writing style in the first book I read of hers and this was no different. I enjoyed the story and the characters. Julie Crenshaw is our main female character, she’s an investigative reporter. Matthew Roy is our main male character, he’s a detective and frustrated with his inability to track a rapist terrorizing his city. I loved this story enough that I’m going back to start from the beginning of this series. If you’ve never read anything by Jacquie- you need to. If you have but haven’t read any of this series- you need to.

Dead Magic: The Sanctuary Chronicles Book 3. By India Kells.
Wow what an absolutely brilliant read. I’ve been following this series and love it so much, it’s definitely up there with my favourites. India kells is an extraordinary author, truly gifted, her writing style is epic and she’ll suck you in and keep you there form beginning to end. I love both the main characters in this story Finn and Violet work so well together and I really enjoyed watching there relationship grow. If you love witches and Vampires you’re in for a treat.

When you are looking for a husband to help take on the biggest role in the world and then all of a sudden three weeks before Christmas your whole world is crash (literally) what do you do, it’s up to Jenny Claus to sort it out.
This story was original and beautiful, the twist on the whole understanding of Christmas was brilliant and I enjoyed reading every word. Jenny Claus is looking for a potential suitor to become King and then also be knon as “Santa”. While she is receiving the suitors a plane crashes into the world and in walks into her life Logan the pilot of the crashed plane.
The chemistry between the two of them in jumping off the page, but with the toys nearly all destroyed in the plane crash it is up to them and the elves (yes they existence) to get things done before Christmas Eve. As they are working and getting to know each other and getting on great, there is only one problem Logan has lost his memory and can he commit or has he left a family behind.
I loved the uniqueness of this story, anything about Christmas makes me warm and gooey inside and this is no different. The characters are great and well crafted, the story follows and you will turning the page to get to the conclusion and can they save Christmas.
I would recommend this book for a light hearted read, this not the first book I have read by this author and will not be the last.

Two Hearts Unspoken Targets is the 11th book in the Two Hearts Wounded Warrior Romance Series. Each book is written as a standalone. I have now read several of the books in this series and the more I read, the more I grow to love this series and Tamara Ferguson’s writing. This series is set around the wounded warrior training camp where those wounded on the military come to train and get back to fitness. I love that the author has heroes and heroines who are disfigured, amputees and have other debilitating conditions due to their life of service. I love that she shows how these people suffer from so much self doubt about their ability to be loved and writes the most beautiful heart wrenching Happily ever afters for them. This book is not different in that it contains Zach Logan who has horrific scarring after being in a plane which had burst into flames. At the wounded warrior camp he meets Beth whose 20 year old son Kyle is autistic and will be working with Zach. Beth and Zach’s story is beautiful. Zach is worried about how any woman could possible look at his scarred body and Beth is too busy looking after Kyle to consider a relationship for herself. I loved these characters and love to see how Tamara Ferguson creates an amazing storyline to bring them to life. I was hooked from the very beginning of this book and did not want to put it down.
