This second book in the series is just as good as or better than the first! I LOVED this one!! It is exciting, funny and has glorious sarcasm. The story held me captivated until the last page! The characters have a wonderful love/hate relationship with high sexual chemistry. I laughed with them and just delighted with their banter! They are both very witty! Secondary characters are wonderful! I liked how they moved the story forward but still held a memorable quality.
This writing team is a dynamic duo! They pour just the right amount of snark, laughs, heat and hockey into their stories. They had these characters go from like to extreme dislike to slowly coming around then lust then friends then lovers. What a ride! I loved every second and look forward to more!

I jumped right in on this new to me author with her box set of 4 different stories. The stories were all different which I enjoyed, made for a very good box set. Fell in love with the characters and in hate with others. They were very relatable and well rounded. I will recommend this author and will suggest this box set to anyone that is looking for a new author to get hooked on. I will be reading all her other work for sure.
With the brief plot given, that definitely convinced me to give this read a try. The words like steamy, kinky, romance and drama caught my attention! Another aspect of a great novel is also their character development, which Ashton and Zachary were vividly portrayed. Ashton is shy and withdrawn but after years alone is making a bold move in her exploration experiences. Zachary, a strong headed CEO, looking for a strong partner to help in more than one endeavor. As Ashton gets familiar with her new surroundings, Zachary eases her way through it. Very exciting start and I cannot wait to read the next book in the series.
This is a quick read and I think your children will love it. I enjoyed it.

This is the first book I have read from this author and she has a new fan. I love a good contemporary romance but she exceeded my expectations on this story. You can’t help but to fall in love with all of the characters. I could not put this book down until the end. I can’t wait to read the next book to this amazing series.

This was fun, an imaginative way that rainbows are created. I think little kids will be laughing out loud with this book. Great illustrations.

I really enjoyed this story. It was very fast paced and my 3 year old loved it! This book really showed him that in situations where there’s a problem, being nice and understanding pays off in the long wrong! We really enjoyed this book! I hope to see more like it in the future!
This book was so cute, and the illustrations were so colorful. It was perfect for my granddaughter; she is almost four. She loves to be read to and this has become a favorite of hers. Annabelle keeps stealing candy from Mr. Bonbon and he has to come up with a way to teach her a lesson, But Annabelle is pretty smart, you will have to read and find out.

This was a great 5 star read. I really liked this couple and their story. They had a history going back 10 years. When Kaitlyn is asked to be Banks’ new agent things get very interesting. Will she be able to help him? I have to say I had several LOL moments with the bantering between these two. Both of them were great characters, and the secondary characters added a great element to the story. There are a few different things going on in the book. Oh, I devoured this book. So sweet and wholesome, and even had some twists/suspense that really kept me engaged and not wanting to put it down. I loved Katie, Jake’s daughter, and the way she stole Lexie’s heart from the beginning. Jake and Lexie had some rocky pasts, and hesitations about moving on, but they could deny the pull/connection between them. Minimal spice, great characters and writing. Would recommend this book, and will definitely be reading more from this author.

You’d think that the 10th book in a series would lose some of its luster, but this author has proved me wrong! The Masters of the Consulate series has grown to be one of my favorites over the last couple of years, so I picked this one up without any hesitation. It’s a quick enough read to fit into your day and one you won’t be able to put down either! Sylvia Black has an everlasting talent as she expertly crafts the story of Master Oradea and Natalia. I adore the fact that we get to experience this from dual points of view as it makes it easier to gain each individual perspective. The story flows beautifully, the plot is solid, and the characters are incredibly well developed. I would definitely pick up the previous books in the series to gain the full experience with background. You could probably make do with this as a standalone, but you’ll also feel a bit lost through portions of it without the previous pieces of the puzzle. If you’re looking for a riveting paranormal read that will have you on the edge of your seat, look no further than this. I cannot wait to see what this author has in store for us next!

Loris Opens Up His Heart (Courage Tales Series) by Dagmara Sitek . This is a great children’s book that includes information about something a little deeper than most children’s books. It’s a story that teaches kids its ok to have feelings and its ok to deal with them. It’s the story of Loris who has been sent to a new foster home and the kids there are super excited, Loris is not as excited and is very quiet and not opening up to them. Inaya & Cam are his foster siblings and when Cam begins to get bullied, Loris stands up for him. After Loris stands up to the bully he tells his foster siblings his story and why he is so withdrawn and not open. It teaches kids that when before you judge someone you should find out more about them so you know what they have been thru. Loris learns that after he opens up to his siblings he can be more open in other relationships too. I feel like this is a very important book for kids to read in this day and age!

The Winemakers Box Set (The Winemakers Series) by Giovanna Siniscalchi. This is such a good trilogy. I loved all three books. The True Purpose of Vines (The Winemakers Book 1) by Giovanna Siniscalchi. This is an amazing historical romance set in Portugal. The writing is so beautiful I truly felt like I was there. Its the story of winemaker and widow Julia who makes the best wine in Portugal. Griffin and Englishman has bought the property right next to Julia and has been sent to Portugal for the sole purpose of spying on Julia for his business. Once he meets her though he is smitten. He can’t get her off his mind. She is not interested and knows she can survive without a man. Julia is a strong woman who wants to feel love again but is scared. When Griffin won’t stop pursuing her will she finally give in or will his business blow up their new relationship in his face? This is an amazing historical romance. The Truth About Myths (The Winemakers Book 3) by Giovanna Siniscalchi. This is such a good Historical romance, I really enjoyed it. Its the story of Princess Isabel who is very rigid almost to the point of being a prude but when she goes to Spain with Viscount Henrique she is very enthralled by him. He is so sexy and everything she has tried to stay away from. Henrique is tasked with taking Isabel who is his best friends sister and he is not looking forward to it. He is known for being a rake and not being faithful but when he gets to know Isabel he thinks she might be able to change his ways. Isabel is so rigid and wants to do what is right for her country and Henrique is all about living life to the fullest. He does admire Isabel and the chemistry between them is remarkable. The author’s description of the beautiful scenery made me feel as if I was transported to Spain and Portugal. This can be read as a standalone as well.

Ooooo. This series is literally life I was up all night waiting for this one to hit. Sylvia Black’s talent in having one every evolving story while also each individual story for each book/couple is inspiring. Dual perspectives of Oradea and Natalia. Master Oradea is beyond angry at the recent discovery of Lucas, Overmaster Descallia’s right hand man being a traitor and refuses to let him hide in his territory. All the masters are in shock and questioning everyone around them, even the loyalty of Embry. Lucas’s “mate” that he left behind, that has fought time and time again for the vampires as she is now being treated as an enemy. As if all her deeds never existed. Natalia is the younger sister of the Benzini family, with four older brothers. The rogues take interest in her with a warning sent through her for her brothers, her innocence doesn’t go unnoticed by the vampires. When the “plan” around the necklaces doesn’t work as planned the entire group is forced to look at themselves the Masters’ disbelief in the loyalty of the witches, even their own mates cause the power to be zapped from the crystals. Everything needs to change; trust needs to build and begin within the core group of the Master’s and mates as pairs not just to each other as males and females separate or only trusting their own mates. After reading the first book in this series, the kids and I were all excited to get our hands on the next one. It was so great to get to know more about Kris and her adventures. This one is just as fun and imaginative as the other book and we all enjoyed it from the moment we started reading. The storyline was greatly entertaining. The host of other characters introduced made it so much more interesting to read and we loved each one of them entirely. My kids loved the pictures throughout the book and it made it more engaging and fun. This is shaping to to be a great series and one of our favourites.

A well written book about fostering kittens that children can read and understand. Abby and Charlie hear about the need for people to foster kittens. After talking about it with their parents, and discussing how their cats Oscar and Emmy might react, they foster 3 kittens to help the kittens get used to being around people and other cats. The kids in the story understand why fostering is needed and learns how rewarding it is while it also can be a lot of work. The illustrations are beautiful and make it easy for the kids to follow. I have read a few books by the author and appreciate how well written it is for young readers.
Another well written novel by these authors! Again, I found myself struggling when new characters were introduced and the plot dragged out a tad. However, the endings in this series are always worth it.
This series is great for those in the medical profession that want a novel they can read without cringing at the inaccuracies of the medical field. It is also perfect for mystery lovers! These authors should write a nonfiction novel about themselves because I am sure they have some stories to tell. I cannot wait to read more from these authors because it is obvious they put their heart and sole into these books.

This book was well written. The plot seemed to drag on a little bit because so many new characters were introduced, but ultimately the end brought everything together. It is obvious the authors know a lot about the medical profession and they tie that knowledge well into their novel. The characters are also very well developed and easy to connect with.
I got confused and a little bored when all of the characters were being introduced, which is why I gave this book 4 stars instead of 5. I definitely recommend if you enjoy a good mystery novel.

I loved this book so much! It was such a great read. From the very first page I was just totally in love with bath Kaitlyn (with a K) and Banks! They both had such great personalities and I loved that they wound each other up but underneath the chemistry was bubbling away. I really do love an older romance story now, I think I can definitely relate to the characters a lot more than stories with the young 20 somethings as the main characters. Kaitlyn was just such a down to earth person going through things that I can certainly relate to. She was focused on her career and she was good at it. I thought she was a wonderful female lead and I absolutely adored her. This is definitely one of my favourite books that I have read this year and I 100% recommend it!

This is one of those stories that you can’t tell much about or you give it away. Oradea and Natalia are meant for each other. It just takes them time to realize it. Just a few obstacles get in the way: rogues; brothers; and witches. It’s a fast-paced story that will have you feeling like you are chasing rogues with them. I’m a big fan of multiple POV’s. It makes the story feel personal. Familiar faces make appearances. Everyone is chasing the rogues from Descalia down. There is some steam that will have you wiping off your glasses. It does end with a cliffhanger. I can’t wait for the next one

With this book being written by so many authors I wasn’t sure what to expect (I have read collaborations like this before and was so disappointed) BUT I have to say to put it very simply I LOVED this book and I can’t wait for more!!! I mean how could I not love a steamy supernatural fantasy that captivates and holds your heart right from the very start. Callum and Aeris truly had me hooked as soon as I met each of them on the page. This truly is a fantastic start to what I know is going to be an amazing series.

4 R’s: Roped, Risked, Rescued, Romance ( 4 R’s Series is a Contemporary Romance complete set that I devoured. Each story is about a different couple but the characters are relatable, fully developed and make the stories come to life. This is a fairly new author to me but I’m definitely going to check out what other books they have written. This set is a second chance romance/ Runaway Bride/single mom Romance and so much more. I highly recommend this set and look forward to reading more from this Author.
The Better Man by Laurie L.C. Lewis was such a sweet country romance story. This story takes place on a ranch in Colorado, where our main character’s parents have decided it’s time to sell and retire. When their daughter, Laramee finds out about this, she rushes home to confront her estranged father and her mother, to question their decision and try to talk them out of selling. Unbeknownst to Laramee, Jaime has already been hired to assess the land and the property to help get the best-selling price for their ranch. The two start out on rocky ground seeing as they both have different thoughts in mind, but overall, they decide what’s best for the Stone family is to find out what the best price is that they can get for the ranch while making necessary upgrades to the property together. While they were looking around the property, Laramee showed Jaime a place that she holds near and dear to her heart that will change everything for the Stone family. On top of dealing with all of this business of assessing the ranch, both Jaime and Laramee have to work through the issues that they each have with their own families. As the two work through their issues, they also have to deal with Sutton, Laramee’s ex-fiancé who is jealous and overbearing.
I love that this story has such a soft approach to the building of the romance between the characters. The beauty of the setting in this story is so peaceful and serene, that it brings to mind what it would be like to live in a small country community away from the hustle and bustle of city life. The descriptions of the Colorado ranch are such that you can picture what it was like at its peak and then see where it stands now after the family tragedy happened, it is all sad and forlorn looking. The characters are so solidly built that they are like characters out of an old Western movie, with the strong leading ladies, the chivalrous males, and the contention between the families due to misunderstandings. What an amazing all-around storyline this book had, I cannot wait to go back and find the first book in the series and see who that tale was about. I hope to see that more books are being written in this series, it was such a great read, with just the right amount of turmoil and romance. @Brandy Rymer 04/2024

I didn’t realize this as a part of a trilogy until after I read it and saw so in the acknowledgments…so naturally I have to go back and read the other two books. However this worked as a stand alone novel as well. Swan Cove sounds like the perfect small town. Although everyone knows your business they are all supportive and helpful. I love Kaia and Everett. They compliment each other beautifully. Their friends and family are wonderful people and everyone is lucky to have each other. It’s definitely a feel good story. Although there were a few bumps in the road they got to where they needed to be at the end.
