5 Star Bargaining (Hero High Book 3) by Mina Chara is a short story that once you start reading you won’t be able to stop till the end. I can’t recommend this series enough and if you haven’t already read the first two books you definitely need to. Really they should be read in order then you will have a better understanding of what is going on as each follows the last one. So since joining the gold team the producers of the show seem to like her more but she knows she’s still being watched. Friday feels like the weight of the world is on her shoulders, things with Jonathan are rocky and she’s a bit overwhelmed with it all. She doesn’t feel as though she’s being true to herself and that makes her feel like a sell out. Find out what happens next in this must read. I can’t wait to read more from this Author.

5 stars! Lucifer’s Emblem is a fun read. I really enjoyed the storyline and how Lucifer has a daughter, Zuri. The friendship between Zuri and Damian is beautiful, he would sacrifice not only his future but himself to save her. He also has her back when it comes to lying to her father, but it is funny that he really can’t keep any secrets from the king of hell. Zuri and Miryam’s relationship is weird for me. I can understand why Miryam is so sheltered and annoying and I also understand why Zuri would be frustrated with her. It was nice that they both formed a sort of bond and friendship and by the end, Miryam was willing to sacrifice herself to save her new friend. By the end the group of friends defeated Beelzebub and saved the world from the apocalypse, but there is some tension with Miryam and her boyfriend Chris and Zuri. It seems Zuri may have developed feelings for Miryam and I am hoping in the second book we get to see their relationship grow more romantic, because I agree with what Damian says, in that they have something special. Definitely a great read, I would recommend to paranormal lovers and romantic lovers alike, and can’t wait for the next book.

The Seal of Solomon: A Lilandra Reeves Adventure by Nadine Travers is the second book in the Supernatural Intelligence Agency series. This is an exciting story that certainly keeps the pages turning. This is a short story that pulls you in quickly. I liked how fast paced and action packed it felt – so much seems to be packed into the pages. This author really does know how to create stories that are interesting and entertaining. She develops them so well and really captures your attention. This book is everything that I have come to expect from this author and I am excited for more.

This is an amazing story full of twists and turns that keeps you guessing and I unable to put the book down.
This story follows two lifes. One of two brothers Joel and Clancy. The other follows Garrison who believes he is the grandson of Clancy.
Garrison is on the hunt to find Clancy to find out of he is really his grandad however things arent straight forward as Clancy has disappeared from the face of the earth. So he starts going back trying to trace Clancy. He starts by learning about Joel who is currently in prison for murder. But did he do it?
Clancy and Joel have always been close and Joel has always been there to get Clancy out of bother. When something happens that leaves Joel scarred for life neither boy talks to explain what has happened. What are they hiding or covering up.
Fast forward and their dad is found murdered. Joel is arrested and charged and Clancy vanishes. Are the brothers still keeping secrets? Is Joel still looking out for Clancy? Is Joel the one who murdered there dad?
Its a rollercoaster journey from the first page. I loved it.

I remember when I first read book 1 in the series I wasn’t sure I was going to like it – a book about bees – but I was pleasantly surprised so when I saw book 2 I wanted to see where the author was taking the story and again I enjoyed it. It’s still not the type of book I would normally read but I really like the author’s detailed writing, it is very vivid and descriptive. I actually think I enjoyed this story a little more than the first, the characters were great to read about and follow their adventure and the story had quite a few layers to it which I enjoyed. It tied in well to book 1 and definitely answered some of the questions that I had in my head after I had finished it! A great read that I highly recommend! Book 1 needs to be read first.

Sex-O-S: The Tragicomic Adventure of an Italian Surviving the First Time is the next book in the Italian Teens series by Gaia B Amman. It should be read following Forget Nico, in order to get the backstory. The whole series follows Leda, an Italian teenager in a coming of age story. Leda is a teenager now and has experienced her first heartbreak and big breakup. Now she is on to her first long term, serious relationship. She is torn between being a “good girl” and experiencing sex like her friends. She struggles with acceptance and love, and many aspects of her relationship. She is dating an older boy, and with that, comes it own struggles. I love that it is based on a true story, and is brutally honest, relevant to the age of the characters. It deals with real issues girls this age have. Including crushes, love, loosing virginity, pregnancy, and eating disorders. Despite the heavy topics, it is done in a tasteful way that keeps the reader interested but not upset. There are a lot of emotions felt throughout this book, from the characters to the reader. I highly recommend the series and have been thoroughly enjoying it.

Turn up the Tempo (Lyrical Odyssey Rock Star Series Book 4) By Charli B. Rose 5 out of 5 stars
I loved reading the story Turn up the Tempo (Lyrical Odyssey Rock Star Series Book 4) by Charli B. Rose. It is a book that is entertaining and once started I didn’t want to put it down, I was hooked. I loved the characters of Brittany and Brooks. Brittany is a woman who does one-night stands, no relationships. She doesn’t believe in happy endings. Why does Brooks make her feel differently? Brooks is a rock star. He also is known not to do relationships. Why does he have such different feelings about Brittany? There is a mutual attraction and chemistry between Brooks and Brittany. What does their future hold? Will they find a HEA? Read this book to find out. This is a story that is romantic and fun to read. My emotions went on a rollercoaster ride all the way through. I grew to care about Brittany and Brooks and wanted them to be happy. I also enjoyed reading about their interactions with the additional characters in the story. This is a book has moments where I was smiling at the bantering back and forth between Brittany and Brooks. Don’t miss out on an amazing story with wonderful characters. I highly recommend reading it.

Seriously Carrie Pulkinen has done it again, with another brilliant addition to the New Orleans Nocturnes Series.
This time we follow Crimson’s story, just like the other two reads in this series, it’s fast-paced, captivating, funny and addictive to read. Carrie Pulkinen has a way with words and a way of connecting you to the characters. Connecting to these characters make you totally invested in their story and you can’t help but feel as though you are on their journey with them.
What I didn’t expect from this read was how brilliant the connection and chemistry was between Crimson & Mike. I love watching their connection grow and see them working together. Another thing I loved was that we still got our main characters from the previous two books to make an appearance as secondary characters in this one, I love having follow-ups of them!
For this being a short read you are never lacking in the storyline, I absolutely loved this read and I love this series.

Satan’s Devils MC Boxed Set Books 1-5, by Manda Mellett. These are the first 5 books in one of the BEST MC Series that I have read.
Turning Wheels We first meet the MC when they take in Sophie who is on the run from a very dangerous man who caused her to lose part of her leg in a hit and run. Thinking that she isn’t a whole woman and no one would ever see her in a sexual manner, Wraith most definitely ends those thoughts. The entire MC comes through and makes her feel safe and protected. This story was full of emotion, suspense and hot, sexy alpha males. Definitely one of my favorites.
Drummer’s Beat Finding a stranded motorcyclist on the road to the clubhouse, Drummer isn’t sure what to expect. Being the President of the club, he has to take all the precautions he can to protect his men and their families. Drummer doesn’t ever see himself settling down, then Sam comes to the club, looking for her father. Will he be able to protect her from the evil that is trying to take her from him? This book was definitely filled with emotions and suspense. Another amazing book!!!
Slick Running Ella is asked to do something extremely dangerous for the club. She agrees because she thinks it will be her ”in” to be with Slick. While on her “mission” something happens and she not only runs from the club, she runs from Slick when she needs him the most. When she calls him because she needs help, he is most definitely not going to blind sided again. When he finds out exactly why Ella ran, he vows to make everything right between them. This book will have you flying through to see what happens next.
Targeting Dart Alex is in Tucson, living with her sister, after fleeing an abusive husband. With no job and no way to make money, she auditions to be a dancer at Satan’s Angels, the strip club owned by the MC. She isn’t the typical type of woman that usually dances at the club. When Dart finds himself wanting and needing to help Alex out, he isn’t sure if he can be more then her friend. He knows he has feelings for her but he vowed to never settle down. When her ex finds her, Dart knows then that he can not and will not let anything happen to her or her son.
Heart Broken Wow. This was definitely an extremely emotional one….. Heart has not only lost his wife but he lost his way. He isn’t sure what he wants anymore. He is mad, an emotional wreck and just needs to get away….. I don’t want to give much away but is it possible for an outlaw MC member and a law enforcement officer to come together and can they make it work??? Will they end up saving each other?
This entire series is one my ABSOLUTE favorites. My go to rereads!!!!!! I love Ms. Mellett and I look forward to much much more from her!!!!

The Seal of Solomon: A Lilandra Reeves Adventure (Supernatural Intelligence Agency Book 2) by Nadine Travers is a paranormal story and is a very quick read. I was confused in the beginning because I was sure I had read it before but what I quickly realised is that the first book in the series started the same way just told by a different character. Once I realised that I settled into the story and the action and danger, lies and deceit, hope and emotions. Nadine has created a world where shifters and witches, and a whole lot of different magical beings’ dwell but each must live in their own sections. Some are fighting to keep the magical items away from those who seek to use for harm and others are fighting for a cause that is full of lies and deceit. I enjoyed the story but wish it was longer.

The Seal of Solomon: A Lilandra Reeves Adventure(Supernatural Intelligence Agency: World, Book 2)) is by Nadine Travers. After reading Blood Rebellion (Book One), as well as getting a snippet for this book at the end of that story, I was really anticipating reading this book. Let me start by saying that I absolutely love the cover- even if I hadn’t read Book One, I would have snapped up this story just on that cover alone. As with the previous book- this is an urban fantasy- with supernatural elements, action, adventure, suspense, drama, danger, intrigue, and mystery. It is fast paced short story, which makes for quick and easy reading. Like book one, I really wish this book had been longer- as I would have loved to have been able to immerse myself in the story more. This is a super quick and easy read- but I felt the story may have had more of an impact if it had been able to fully ‘develop’ with more length to the plot. I did enjoy this story, and feel it is the pick of the series, so far. Looking forward to reading Juniper’s stories!

It’s a fantasy book that once I started reading I couldn’t put it down till the end . Kat finds herself not only lost but also trying to figure out what path she should be on. Then there’s Bran, the god who she loves but has not come back yet. She soon finds that someone has stolen her memories. Can she find Bran? Will they be reunited? Will she get her memory back? I found myself lost in the pages and had to know what happens next. There was times my emotions were slightly all over the place. Sweet Salvation is the third book in The Protectors Series by Toya Richardson. This is my first book by Toya Richardson so I didn’t know if I would understand some parts, since I was jumping in to book three in the series. I have to say that I thoroughly enjoyed it and had no problems understanding the storyline. However, the book was so well written I will be going back to read the first two books. This Shifter Romance had me hooked from the very first page and I read it in one sitting. It is full of action, suspense and romance. I have found over the past three or four months that I Love Shifter books and have been reading more and more of them. Manuela and Josh are strong characters that are relatable. I highly recommend this book, especially if you are a fan of paranormal romance. I look forward to going back and reading the first two books in the series.

This series, to date, has proven to be a must read for all fantasy lovers. This latest installment does not disappoint. I love the juxtaposition of the world of Fae with mythology troves. Broadwell does a fantastic job weaving this story line and further developing Kat and her relationship with Bran. I was spellbound from beginning to end and cannot wait to read this book again. Just wonderful.

Throwback was my first book by Zeia Jameson, and it won’t be my last. The cover and synopsis of this story are what attracted me to this book This book spoke to me in so many ways because I deal with a lot of the same feelings and its truly is a struggle at times within my marriage. This book follows Livy and Jeremy’s story and you will not be able to put it down until the last page and then you will still want more. I found myself on an emotional train with these two. The author does an amazing job with ensuring you feel like you are there experiencing this with them, the emotions are raw and passionate, and they are relatable. This is a book worth reading.

Kat’s Conundrum (Raven and Hummingbird Book 3) by Nikki Broadwell
This story is just as good if not better than thought it would be. This is the third book and it is my suggestion that you read these in order for a better understanding of these characters and how we got to where we are in this amazing journey. Kat goes through a lot in this book and even though she has many different struggles she is still very strong. This story is full of wonderful detail, action, magic, love, heartache and so much more. I cannot wait to get my hands on the book!! The author did an exceptional job making me feel like I was there along in the story and keeping me so entertained that I didn’t want to put it down. I highly recommend this book.

Baba Ali and the Clockwork Djinn: A Steampunk Faerie Tale by Danielle Ackley-McPhail and Day Al-Mohamed was an amazing read. I loved the detail and imagination of this novel. It was filled with excellent characters who were developed well and easy to visualize. I also loved how the storyline hooked me at the start. It was unique. I also enjoyed the fact that I could easily picture myself with in the story right along with the main characters. It was written beautifully and I also loved the colorful cover. Great read!

Hawk’s Cry by Manda Mellet was a great continuation of the second generation of the Satan’s Devils MC series! As I haven’t read the first generation yet, some of the characters are hard to tell apart, but since I did read the first book in the second generation, it wasn’t so bad telling the characters apart this time. Very well written and descriptive, I related a lot to this novel. The way Hawk (aka Eli) feels throughout the novel is the way I would imagine a lot of young adults would feel in his place. The emotions were very relatable to me. I thoroughly enjoyed reading this book and can’t wait to read the next one in this series!

Once again we taken on a journey Friday and a whole great cast of characters. Each one of these has gotten even better and this one definitely stuck to that. I love how unique and original this set is. Each character brings something different to the storyline and I enjoy them each for different reasons. It’s on the smaller side but that doesn’t hinder the punch it has. It’s well written and paced nicely never feeling rushed or lacking anything. Four big stars and highly recommended!

Hawk’s Cry : Satan’s Devils MC Second Generation #2 by Manda Mellett. When I say this author draws me in completely and I have the hardest time leaving her books I don’t say it lightly. Once again I found myself completely lost in the pages of another fantastic read by this author. The words invoke all the emotions you could imagine. The author does a wonderful job of writing a story that draws you in from page one and won’t let go. The characters are complex and relatable, they pull you so far into their world you forget reality for a while. You can truly feel the work , time and emotions put in every page. Wonderful story that I couldn’t put down. Well written and paced nicely never feeling rushed or lacking anything. Five huge stars and highly recommended!

This has most definitely been an entertaining, page-turner of a read and was unpredictable from start to finish. Action-packed and worth the read. Check out this beautiful story!

Baba Ali and the Clockwork Djinn: A Steampunk Faerie Tale by Danielle Ackley-McPhail and Day Al-Mohamed. This story is way outside my wheel house of reading but it intrigued me so I thought what the heck and I’m really glad I did. Each page pulled me in further and further to this well written adventure. This story is a unique telling and it wonderfully written. The characters draw you completely in and make it hard to leave in the end. It’s well written and paced nicely never feeling rushed or lacking anything. Both authors are new to me and I really enjoyed finding them and this story. Four stars and highly recommended for those who love this genre already and those looking for something unique and new.

This novel by Zeia Jameson took me on an emotional rollercoaster whilst reading it. The author had me gripped from the first page until the very last page and along the way I fell in love with Livy and Jeremy, a likeable, realistic and very relatable couple fighting for what they believe in, their love for one another. For Livy and Jeremy they met, fell in love and got married but somewhere along the way life took over. Livy never believed in Prince Charming’s and happy ever afters, whilst Jeremy believed he could be Livy’s Prince Charming, however when disaster strikes, the couple find themselves spiralling out of control and their once solid relationship crumbling. The couple seem to be growing further apart daily, however a glimpse of their happier past has Livy and Jeremy feeling hopeful for their future together. “When life-altering love becomes earth-shattering heartache, only the past can mend it”. This was a wonderfully written love story with a difference, and that was in its realistic storyline. The chemistry between Livy and Jeremy sizzled off the page and I loved how their relationship developed over time both growing and changing. The storyline flowed nicely and along with the wonderful character building the author had me fully immersed in the book as I devoured this novel in a couple of sittings. A wonderful and emotive read which I thoroughly recommend.

This is the fourth book in this series but can be read as a standalone. This is my favorite yet by this author. It is a well developed story that I had no problem picturing myself in. I also found connecting to the characters easy and fell in love with them. Brittany is struggling with no job, job and certainly no romance. Brooks is a one night type of guy. They had a one night stand but is it enough for them? I loved their attraction to each other and their chemistry is off the charts. What will fate have in store for them? I highly recommend reading this book to find out what happens with them and if one night is just that one night.

I enjoyed this book. It is not my first book by this author but it is one of my favorites so far. One of the things I enjoy about this author and her books is how they are placed in Italy. This one is no different. Leda is a young adult that has been through alot and is now ready to start a new part of life. She is determined to find what makes her happy. Will she find that she needs romance in her life? Will she find herself in the process. I loved watching her grow throughout this story. She is a great character I felt some emotion with because she does go through so much but truely is trying to find what makes her happy. I highly recommend reading this book and find out what happens with Leda.

I loved this book! This is not my first book by this author but it is my favorite yet so far. This is a well written story that pulled me in right from the beginning. I had no problem connecting with the characters as they brought the story to life. They tell a hot, steamy story of family secrets and deception. Nathan and Bryer both know what they want but will they be able to move forward from their pasts to have a future? I loved the chemistry these two have. The twists and turns left me turning pages fast. I highly recommend reading their story, it will heat up your night.

This is the second novel in Gaia B Amman’s, ‘Italian Teens’ series, although a fictionalised series it is based on the authors life and she has written the series so it, “empowers girls and women to be their brave true selves”. The series of books are humorous and insightful novels for young adults which take place in Northern Italy. I felt fully immersed in the beautiful setting thanks to the authors wonderfully detailed descriptions. I also like how she has kept some Italian words in the narrative so as not to loose their meaning, mostly swear words, it does add to the immersive feeling. It is Italy, in the 1990s, and we catch up with fierce, nerdy, independent Leda who is in high school, and hormones are raging. Leda’s biggest decision is, let lust take over or hold off till marriage. The object of her affections is best friend Nico. However Nico has become a bit of a bully and a player, can Leda trust him as she also battles her own emotions, confidence, guilt, parents, but mainly her desire. This is an emotional read which is told with humour and honesty. The storyline deals with some sensitive issues, teen sex, eating disorders and teenage insecurities all of which are dealt with honestly and with sensitivity. The main issues for Leda in the story are around having sex for the first time and all the emotions that come with this, again the author writes about this openly and honestly but is also never vulgar. I fell in love with Leda again reading this story and think she is a great main character, thanks to the wonderful narrative I went on a emotional rollercoaster along with Leda as she entered into womanhood. An enjoyable book and also an original and empowering read.

Arrows Tipped With Honey by Jean Gill is the second book in the Natural Forces series. This series does need to be read in order as it is a continuation of the story. This book was even better than the first one. Mielitta’s story is just one of those that draws you in completely. I found myself on the edge of my seat a few times in this book – it felt like there were a whole new layer of intrigue added to it This series is the first for me by this author and I can only hope that the rest of her work is a good as this! Brilliant series so far and I cannot wait for whatever comes next.

This is a college novel- where before she was a small girl growing into teenage years, now we’re finally getting an older Leda. The funny part about this is when she emails in this book- it has the date, and I REMEMBER THOSE YEARS! She’s a little older than me in reality, and being an adult while reading her years as a child, I just didn’t think she was. I think this was my favorite book of hers so far. She is smart and is finally figuring out what she needs to do to make herself happy. I’m addicted to Leda and I am not ashamed about it. I can’t wait to read the next one!
