Eight Steps: A friends to lovers romance by Taylor Sullivan is a fun read. The story is about Elliot and Fe who are roommates and friends. Elliot asks Fe to help him get the girl because he is the nice guy often overlooked. What will happen when they complete their experiment? I enjoyed the characters and the nerdiness of Elliot and Fe. The banter was fun and realistic. The two show that friendship is important between men and women. This was a cute story and made me laugh at times. I overall enjoyed this book and recommend it if you are looking for a light, fun read.

Finding Juniper was a great 5 star read and book three in the Smoke series. We start where Juniper Smoke leaves off. I was so excited to finish Kyle and Junipers story and get some answers to questions.
Look away. Those eyes were my personal kryptonite. -Juniper
We see these two go through so many levels of emotions. Kyle does some maturing and he pulled me in even more. He has a lot of things going on in his life that added a great element to the story. Juniper at times frustrated me with her choices.
Overall I loved their story. It’s definitely not an easy journey, my emotions were all over the place. The secondary characters were great and we get several twists and turns. Sadia Ash has completely drawn me in with her writing and I can’t wait to read more from her. There was so many ways that this story could go, I couldn’t even begin to guess how it was going to end, which I love. I love reading a book that challenges me and keeps me thinking. This is a must read series.

Snatching Dianna by Seelie Kay is the first book in the Feisty Lawyers series. This is the first book I have had the pleasure reading by Ms. Kay so I wasn’t sure what to expect with her style and how she builds her characters and was anxious to see what I would be getting with this story. Let me tell you what I got.
I got a story about love, romance, “alone time” and there was the whole missing law student thing which brought in the hot alpha Federal Agents and local Police Officers.
I was a little confused by the focal point in the beginning but as the story progressed it was clear to me where this series will be going. My confusion didn’t cause me enough distraction to take away from the book.
I have book two in my kindle and looking forward to getting it read.

Snatching Dianna was an interesting and action packed novel. The storyline was easy to follow and moved quickly. It was fitting, too, how important it was to locate a missing person in a certain amount of time. The individuals that made up the primary characters of the novel consisted of an interesting mix including lawyers, law students, special agents, and police. I loved how strong Dianna remained in the face of danger and handled being taken. She never gave up hope. There was also a hint of steamy romance mixed in. I look forward to reading more in this series.

Salvation: An Ash Park Prequel Novella (Ash Park 0.5) by Meghan O’Flynn was a nail biting, suspenseful, heart pounding thriller that, had me on the edge of my seat.
Not my first read from this author or in this series. In truth I have read every book in this series, so needless to say when I saw this one I snached it up in a heartbeat. This book takes place well before the main series, so I do suggest reading this first as it will give you a better understand of the lead MC, Petrosky.
Like the others book in this series, Salvation was well written, detailed and emotional. I got to know Petrosky’s character very well from the main series, and it was exciting to read about the before. Before he was broken, and before he lost his child that led to his spiral into self hate, alcohol and depression. This book paints that before, as well as the beginning of this multi layered character’s downfall.
Overall this book was everything I was hoping it to be and more. Meghan O’Flynn is truly talented at making your skin crawl and smashing your heart into a million pieces. So please take my super high recommendation and my stamp of approval that you will be holding your breath as well as, holding onto your shattering heart.

Charlotte is still feeling the loss of her mentor and the murder of the man that could have broken a story wide open for her. But she has gained a really good friend and things are going well with her boyfriend. That is until she decides to change her plans over Christmas. She goes off with her boyfriend and blows off the dinner she was supposed to attend at Allie’s. Biggest mistake of her life. After not hearing from Allie for a few days afterwards, she goes to her place, only to find it ransacked and Allie missing. Is this all tied to the man she had been investigating? Or is there more to Allie than what appears? Is Charlotte in over her head?
This is a great book full of suspense. Charlotte has grown since book one, and it is great to see her come into herself more. Plus we learn more about who she really is and her past. Plus we learn so much more about Allie. She was introduced to us in book one, but this book is all about her. As fitting for the series, there is so much going on, you won’t get all of the angles until the very end. It keeps you in the edge of your seat. It is not necessary really to read book one, but you will understand more if you do.
If you are a fan of suspense and strong female characters, this book is for you.

I read book 2 before book 1 and even knowing how delightfully quirky Liberty is, it was like reading her for the first time. There is just something about her that makes me want to be her friend.
BEST FOOT FORWARD is a quick and funny read with a bit of mystery, a bit of delusional thinking and a lot of humor. The characters are fully developed, the settings are well described and the story flows smoothly from beginning to end.
I’m struggling with not giving this book 5 stars, but there is just something about it. Maybe it’s that my new bestie is so quirky that I want to dig a bit deeper into what makes her tick. I’m not sure. (It could also be the mood I’m in today)

The Shape Of Trust, A Stand By Me Novel Book 5, by Brinda Berry. I have read other books by this author, so when I saw this book, I just knew that I had to read it. What would a guy do when he has to go from living the life all single guys want, to having a cute as a button five year old to take care of???? Can he go from partying and living life to taking care of his daughter that he never knew about. Throw in a quirky, sexy nanny……. this book is everything I was looking for and much much more. An Italian Adventure is book one in The Italian Saga series by Gaia B. Amman. I was really excited to uncover what this author writes, as I have not read this author’s work before. I5 is always a rush to find new talent. The blurb for this title tweaked my interest instantly. It sounded hilarious. I was a little unsure if I would get into a story that was based on pre teens, but it was a definite entertainer, and many avid readers would love to escape into this breath of fresh and innocent air.
Leda is a girl growing up in Italy. Her and her friends enjoy being young and carefree amongst the streets of Italy, facing trials most young girls face, discovering the pleasure of youth, while remaining innocent and eager to learn and discover new things. There are situations that are painful and hard to deal with, but the author sets out the characters in a way that is endearing and real. A tale that brought many childhood memories floating to the surface, An italian Adventure was a delight to read. 4 stars.

Salvation by Meghan O’Flynn is a Prequel in the Ash Park series. This series has become one of my absolute favourite ones that I have read in a long time. Every single book in this series has a great story line and brilliant characters. I always find myself on the edge of my seat, desperate to find out what is going to happen. This book was no exception. Meghan O’Flynn has such a skill at creating lasting and edgy stories. The twist and turns keep you fully engaged all the way through. I always know I am in for a good ride whenever I pick up one of her books. This was another good hit.

Having read some of the others books in this series and then Salvation I have to say it absolutely sets the story! I didn’t mind that I read this book after the others because it really was a brilliant read. The author has a really great engaging writing style that pulls you in straight away. I loved finding out a little bit more about Ed too and I think it helped me appreciate him more when thinking about him in the other books in the series. If you have read any of the books in this series then this is a must read and if you haven’t then absolutely start with this book first – the author sets a suspenseful scene with Salvation! It is only a short read but it is jammed packed full of action, suspense and mystery. I thoroughly enjoyed reading it and recommend it 100%!!

Finding Juniper is the third book in the Smoke Series by Sadia Ash. This is not a stand-alone book and you will benefit from reading the first two books. Ms. Ash does an amazing job keeping the characters real and as close to normal friends as possible. Juniper is a real book friend that I can relate with her situation. She has lost her trust and hope in relationships. Kyle has broken Juniper’s trust, hope, and heart. Will Juniper be able to forgive Kyle? This emotional roller coaster of a ride will tug on your heart strings. I found myself asking questions of Juniper like she was sitting next to me or across from me. I had a box of tissues and a nice cozy spot to read Finding Juniper. Make sure you can read the story in its entirety and keep that box of tissues close.

I have to admit when I started reading the Gray Ghost Novel set, I knew I was going to just love it. Amy McKinley has an amazing gift to write mystery, suspense, and romance all roll up into one. When I am reading her story, I do not feel like the focus is romance. In this story we learn about Hannah and Jack. These characters feel like good friends. Hannah is a strong character, but she has a past that she has kept secret. Jack is a member of the Gray Ghost team which is a Navy Seal team. Hannah is traveling with a secret weapon that was hijacked and Jack was deployed to recover the weapon. There is a mystery involving this weapon. Will Jack be able to complete his mission or will he have heartache over the truth of what is going on? Will Hannah open up to Jack and tell him the secrets of her past? This is one story you will have to read to find out what is going to happen to Jack, Hannah, and the secret weapon.

This is the second novel in the Caught series, you could read them as stand-alone but there are spoilers due to recurring characters, so if you fancy the series do yourself a favour and read them in order. This was a great story, Tallie will be someone you warm to and understand, you will care for her as the story develops, she isn’t someone you grow to like, her story will warm you to her and its very well done. There is a lot to grip you in this story and you will enjoy this very much.

Pandora’s Poison by Sacha T.Y. Fortune a five-star read that will turn you. This is the second novel in the Hart and Cole series, and I would advise you read them in order to get the most of the story as they do follow on, and understand there is a number three coming and I know I will be eagerly anticipating it as I know its going to be a great story like this one. This is a compelling series and very gritty and shows us the true side of love and relationships the darker side that most novels won’t cover. Darren and Luisa are characters that you will get so deep with that you hear them tell their story, you don’t just read something on the page. Be warned you may not always like their story, but you will be gripped it and you will love this novel.

This is a good mystery. The story flows nicely and the characters are colorful. Liberty and Cassie, who are roomies and BFF’s, get into so much trouble together…or separately. Their antics amuse me. Liberty or Libby is the main character of the story. She is very observant as a junior manager should be. She has fun and worries about the patrons of the hotel. She really shines as she tries to figure out the case. Sergeant James Harper has repeated frustration at Liberty for taking the law into her own hands. His worry that she could endanger herself is a pretty valid reason. She seems to have a nose for clues as well as is accident prone. If only he didn’t fancy her so much his job might be easier Working and living in a hotel would be different. The crew feels like family but they are not and jealousy and friendship are all around. Everyone’s lives seem to intertwined. The bartender, the front desk, the chef, waitresses and more.
This isn’t my first Book by this author. I enjoy how she tells the story. The characters are flavorful and abundant. It’s a good read for some mystery, a little romance and a some fun.

It’s books like this one that have me wishing I could rate more than 5-stars and completely fueling my reading addiction. Caught in the Spin is a phenomenal romance read that I thoroughly enjoyed! Somehow, I loved this book more than the first one and that’s saying something since I LOVED that one! Tallie and Tom’s story was completely addicting, I quickly forgot about the real world as I got captivated in this thrilling romance read! There were many twists and turns and I couldn’t wait to figure everything out.
Sharlene Scott is a new to me author and I can honestly say that she’s quickly made her way on my list of favorites. Her writing is incredible, the stories flow seamlessly and there’s so much detail that it’s almost impossible not to connect with the characters.
I would absolutely recommend this series and book to anyone looking for their next romance read!

I was so excited to read this novel to finally get the conclusion for juniper’s and Kyle’s epic incredible story and i wasn’t disappointed. I will advise reading the first two before diving into this one! It’s safe to say i got no sleep while reading this novel i couldn’t put it down i was utterly hooked, my emotions were up and down like a yoyo and at times i was gripping my kindle so hard my fingers start to hurt lol. The other two novels were so good but this one was out of this world good and the author done an amazing job the writing style pulled you in. I loved this novel i can’t wait to read more from this author!
Not So Broken is the first book in the Love Grows series by Renee Regent. This story was a surprising experience, because even though I knew from the blurb that I would enjoy it, I just didn’t expect for it to creep its way under my skin and into my heart quite the way it did. Yes, the storyline was a little bit predictable, but it was so well written, and the characters were so wonderfully complex, that the predictability didn’t matter. I was invested and along for the ride, no matter what. Gibson Colebank is the heir to the Colebank fortune, and a wealthy man in his own right- so why would he be living in a small country town and working as a handyman? Well, a tragedy shattered his world a year earlier, and Gib ‘checked out’ of his life- he found his way to Tilly, Georgia- and has lived a simple life ever since. He can’t face the life he lived before, guilt weighs too heavily on his shoulders. He has no interest in relationships and pretty much keeps to himself, in his simple cabin in the picturesque hills. He thinks he’s better off alone, as he really has nothing to offer anyone, anyway. But an out of character night out, changes everything- and turns his simple life upside down. Sacha Rowan is a Rep in Liquor Sales. Her Job takes her all over the country, clocking up thousands of miles every year. Her hard work and dedication has seen her rise to the top of her field, now with a new promotion in sight. But she’s not getting any younger- her biological clock is ticking very loudly and the window to motherhood is closing, she has pretty much given up on having a child of her own. She has goals and is on a mission to fulfill her dreams- and failure isn’t an option. She is focused on her plans, her work, and success- her plans don’t include a man, especially after a bitter divorce left her reeling- she now has no interest in a relationship, ever. Stopping in town on business, a night out at the local bar will bring about a surprising development, which may just change everything. This billionaire/contemporary romance was really well done- with secrets, baggage, angst, push-pull, some drama, trust issues, wonderful characters, a great storyline, sexy scenes, hot and steamy moments, and plenty of emotion. I was definitely invested in the outcome from very early on in the story. It was a little predictable, but I non-the-less enjoyed the journey that the author and characters took me on. There were times where Sacha really annoyed and frustrated me with her stubborn and argumentative nature. Her Ice Queen routine wore a bit thin at times, and some of the push-pull was quite maddening. But through it all, the story coaxed me on. The emotional quality to the story really surprised me, and yes, I shed a few tears. I particularly loved Marvil, one of the secondary characters, and he really stole a lot of the scenes he was in- while adding an extra element to the overall storyline. I can’t wait for “Not So Wrong” (Book #2) to be released, because if this first story is anything to go by, book #2 is set to be fantastic!

Shattered Love is the first book in the Forever Us series and the debut novel by Nivia Borell. It has a bit of a ‘star-crossed-lovers’ feel to the story, with secrets, drama, a conniving and jealous 3rd party, romance, and lots of push-pull/angst. Bria du Mont and Damien du Sky had been neighbours and best friends since childhood. Their plans for the future always include each other- they really thought that their love would last forever. But when Damien finds Bria in bed with another man, their once ‘perfect’ love shatters. Pain and heartache follow them both. Bria has no recollection of the incident, but her world splinters apart, leaving her with ‘broken heart syndrome’, emotionally bereft, and with no closure in sight. Damien self medicates through his pain, using alcohol and women to ease his pain. He carves himself a reputation as a bit of a playboy, but because of his experience with Bria, the now ruthless CEO won’t ever let himself love again. Neither have truly moved on, still stuck in the past. Still unable to really stay away. So, what happens when secrets about that fateful night are revealed? Will it change everything? The author has a bit of a lyrical/poetic style to her writing which was easy to read. The story does jump around time wise- past to present and back again. The transitions aren’t always as smooth as they could be, which did disrupt the flow of the story just a little bit. The story is told from several perspectives, which gives an extra element of interest. The characters were well developed, but I didn’t connect to them and their story quite the way I had hoped I would. I don’t know why, maybe I was having an ‘off’ day. The story is set to continue in the next book… and I am intrigued to read book #2!

Just as good second time around! Nite Fire: Chain Reaction is Book 2 in the series by C.L. Schneider. A continuation of the first book, which means that you really need to read the first one, Dahlia goes on a mission that could save an entire city. She has a new human partner named Creed and is a consultant now for the police department helping out with the “non-human” profiling. This time a mutating drug named Chrysalis has shown up into the city and its Dahlia’s job to find the source and stop it before it takes over everyone in the city. While working on the case, she continuously learns human behavior and is having a hard time with all the secrets that are being unleashed. Once again, I have to say that I don’t love Sci-Fi books but this one, I have to say I really do like and cannot wait to read the next book in the series. The author has a way with words and knows how to draw you in and keep you interested. There are so many twists and turns that you don’t expect, which to me makes for a really good and interesting read. If you are into sci-fi, dragons, the paranormal, and kick ass chicks…this is the series for you! If you don’t believe me, the read it yourself! You really will not be disappointed!
I loved being able to dive into Chain Reaction by C.L. Schneider without a problem. I love that it follows Flash Point, in the Nite Fire Series. I was impressed with Dahlia’s character, and her commitment to saving and guarding humanity. I loved that the story flowed well, and that as a reader, it was easy to follow it. I enjoyed the suspense and the energy that flowed while reading the book. It was a definite 4 Star book for me. I’m anxious to see what else the author can create.
I have to say that I was more than happy to revisit Jake in Killer Lawyer by Mark Nolan. I love having a good book in my hands that literally makes me sit on the edge of my seat. I absolutely loved the suspense and thrill that I got while reading this book.
I fell in love with Jake and his personality in the previous book, so I couldn’t help but cheer him on. I sat and hoped that all would work well for Jake, and that he would unravel all the mysteries. I loved to see how the plot developed in this book. Nolan does a great job in creating characters that will remain with the reader, even after you’re done with the book. I enjoy the emotions, even if they keep me on edge. This was a definite 5 Star Book for me! Can’t wait to see what else he’ll come up with!

5 Star An Italian Adventure ( The Italian Saga Book 1) by Gaia B Amman is the first book in The Italian Saga series. I found this book to be very intriguing yet engaging tale from the life of a twelve year old. I liked the authors creativity,and Leda’ s life growing up in Italy. It drew me in from the beginning and had me till the end. Leda is a great character.Shes a bit sassy.I truly enjoyed reading this Book .I highly recommend reading this Book. I look forward to reading more from this Author.

Caught in the Spin (the Caught Series Book 2) By Sharleen Scott. I love a good book with romance and suspense in it and this one check those boxes completely. While you could read this as a standalone I’d recommend doing them in order because past characters show up in this one also. Tallie and Tom are definitely characters I won’t be forgetting anytime soon. Tallie’s character is one of my favorite female characters I’ve read in a while. Their story is an adventure you can’t miss. It’s well written and and had me guessing in parts, paced nicely with great characters readers can connect with. I’m giving this book a five star review and highly recommend it to everyone. Can’t wait for more.

Pandora’s Poison was a great 5 star read and book two in the Hart & Cole series. I was so excited to get my hands on this book and I wasn’t disappointed.
We continue the story from book one, which I highly suggest you read first. Darren and Luisa are working on some serious problems. Darren is trying to keep his family together but Luisa just isn’t convinced they can make it work. She has to make some choices that could help her in the long run but will they be the right ones?
Can they make things work or will they end up in divorce?
We get different POV’s which brings you into the story even more, you feel the emotions that they are each having. We see a lot more of Luisa in this book and we get some answers to her actions that caused their problems. Is Darren really the victim?
I really liked both characters although Darren at times rubbed me the wrong way, especially with the way he would talk to Luisa. My emotions were all over the place once again. Sacha T. Y. Fortuné pulled me right in and now I can’t wait for the next book in the series. Overall this is a great series that I highly suggest.
Eight Steps: A friends to lovers romance By Taylor Sullivan. I’m a sucker a friends to lover book and this one definitely checked all my boxes. With characters you can relate to and root for and a storyline that had me hooked I was so glad I picked this book up. Fe and Elliot draw you in and make you stay glued to their pages until the very end. The author has a good mix of friendship, romance and humor. It’s a well written story with great characters what more could you need. I’m giving this book a five star review and highly recommend it to my fellow friends to lovers readers.

Eight steps to help you find out who is right for you. I found it funny that they didn’t realize what was happening. Eli needs a confidence boost. The details from the author had me imagining a very hot guy. I love how Eli described Fe. The things we do to try and get what we think we need. The author made the story both humorous and serious. The author gave these two a great foundation to start and through some emotions in the mix to make them rethink their bond. I could understand why Fe acted out in anger. You know this person as your best friend and yet your thinking inappropriate things about them. Overall I liked this story and how the author played out every roll.
